Very unprofessional staff, they can close the shop whenever they want and can cancel your service.

I noticed he still have the emergency room wristband and I ask if he could find somebody to help me install the battery. A female interjected to say that he have to help me, while she was busy on her phone. When I told him that I noticed he had a fresh cast in his arm, she repeated that he had to help. I questioned her demeanor, to what she said that she did not do or say nothing. i decided not to endurance her behavior and left. She wished me a "good day, sir". No need to pay for undesirable service. Drove half a mile to the Oakland Park location where Christoff offered outstanding service! He was pleasant, quick and friendly. From now, I will be driving half a mile to this location.

Worst possible Advanced Auto Parts I've ever been to. Rude staff, very blunt. Zero customer service…read moreetiquette. don't waste your time coming here. They wouldn't let me return an item I didn't use just because it was opened. But I was able to return it at another advanced auto parts store that was so respectful. Kind and even got into a fun conversation with them over at 7500 on university and commercial. Great experience there. Horrible experience here. And the place looked like the swap shop outside. Super ratchet. Nowhere to park because all the people in the driveway parked and working on their cars and trash everywhere. No sir. Never again.

There are those that are junkie, more dedicated to the trailer trash warriors carrying a lot of novelty crap like the dancing hula girl to hang from your review mirror, the bikini girl emblazoned mud flaps and rebel flag license plates. There are also those more like warehouses than stores dedicated to the auto repair industry with all their clerks busy on the phone taking orders destined for immediate pick or delivery having little time or concern for a customer only making single item purchase. Then, there are places, but not many of them, like Bennett Auto Supply on North Dixie Highway which is clean, neat, orderly, well organized, has just about everything you may ever need. Matter of fact, I buy items for my boat as those items are often the same but less than half the price charged by the marinas or marine supply outlets. The best part of this store however is, and the reason I'm a Four Star fan, is their customer service. Every time I've ever been in here, and I've been here a lot, they have always had time for me, have always been helpful and have always been able to provide me with knowledgeable as well as competent advice.

You walk in, look around for what you want and make a purchase. The guys behind the counter seem really laid back. Advance Auto Parts has been on the Fortune 500 list of companies since 2003 where it debuted at number 466 and has remained on the list since that time, including ranking No. 326 on the 2019 list. As of June 2014, it was ranked at No. 1,412 on the Forbes "World's Biggest Public Companies" list. Soon after, Advance Auto Parts was bumped to 2nd largest automotive aftermarket retailer by competitor, AutoZone, and has held that that position for a while. Back in 2005, Advance was named the "Best Managed Company in America" in the retail sector by Forbes magazine. This recognition was part of the annual Forbes Platinum 400 list of top-performing big corporations. The best-managed companies are those businesses that top the rankings in 26 different industries. So, not a bad place to shop.

Store # 09329 Lauderdale lakes Saturday 8/3/24 7:15pm I asked an associate who was sitting down (older black man with locs) when the last time I made a purchase. He asked for my phone # and showed me that i made a purchase in September 2023 which matches my bank statement. He pointed at the screen showing a battery purchase that was red, and told me it was returned. I tried explaining that I only returned the core. He put his hands in the air and told me to come back at 8am Sunday 8/4/24 when the store manager was there. As he was the only one who could make an executive decision. Not once did this man or any other employees ask me to wait and physically check my battery. I was absolutely confused as to how I have a battery in my car, which matches the serial number in their system. Let alone that I had never received a full $255 refund to my banking institution. Store # 09329 Lauderdale lakes 8am Sunday 8/4/24 I walk in and ask an older man for the store manager, he tells me only the assistant manager is there. Slovenly manager named Jaqueline Campbell walks up to me. Telling me that store manager (never gives me a name..) doesn't ever work on Sundays. I ask her the same question to pull up my purchase history. She goes on to ask for my make and model, and i ask her to search by my phone # instead. She rolls her eyes and continues to ask for those details, which I give her and got my Vin # for her. Which she puts in and only searches for the batteries the system tells her matches. I tell her again to look at my purchase history because i bought a battery in Sept 2023. She starts raising her voice and continues rolling her eyes like a child, and tells me "that's not how it works" to which i tell her an associate already did it and i know for a fact i bought a battery. Again not once did any employee get up and use their eyes to look at the battery that was in my car. I told her to give me her fullname, store # and corporates # Oh but wait! "I'm new I don't know that" I told her to find it in the office, she a manager she should know that information. She snidely thanked me for being a rude customer, as I was walking out of the store. I turned and thanked her for being a lying incompetent buffoon. For your sanity and fraudulent behavior - visit another auto store or at least one not located in the hood. Go up Oakland park and visit the Lauderhill location! Store # 8109 Monday 9am Store manager Marius (forgive me if the spelling is wrong) A professional, competent angel!! As soon as I walked into the store and explained what happened to me. He got up and promptly went to check my battery! After handing over a copy of the receipt which was sent to me after I CALLED CORPORATE. This manager, the actual store manager was able to provide service! Go figure! There is no reason - I should have had to have a verbal altercation with a manager! Or escalate the situation to corporate! If someone had gotten off their butt and looked at the battery in my car. But thankfully it did happen, now I have a better store with better associates who know how to do their jobs without an attitude. And I can dissuade everyone to drive past this horrible Store # 09329 Lauderdale lakes branch!
