I made the appointment online, not with the local store, but I was assured that this was not a problem. When I arrived, there was a sign at the door, welcoming someone for their 1045 appointment, not me. Inside the store there were plenty of people waiting, but no line at the counter. There were DT workers on the phone and moving about. They all successfully ignored me for more than 20 minutes as I stood there.By that time, there was a line behind me. When I was acknowledged at the desk, I was told that because I had a 1045 appointment, my work would be finished by 11:45. I took a seat. Before 11:45 a man wearing a black shirt approached me to update me. Before any mention of the work I had requested, this man launched into how important it was for me to replace my spare tire since the vehicle was 10 years old. He had not inspected that tire because in conversation he did not know whether it was a full-size tire or compact spare. I declined that work. He then told me that my vehicle would be out front ready in six or seven minutes. As he began to walk away I asked him if all of the work had been completed including the alignment check. He told me they did not do an alignment check not withstanding my 1045 appointment. By the way, when I arrived, that bay was wide open and remained that way as I was ignored in the store. He then told me that they did not make appointments for alignment contrary to the information concerning alignments available in a brochure on the counters. He had no response concerning how I would know when to come back for that service, just first come first served. His answers were ratified by a man behind the counter, wearing a red shirt. I accompanied him to the counter to check me out. The rotate and balance service is free since I purchased my tires from DT. Now,this part is important: alignment checks are also free according to their advertising. A service which had not been performed, and would have been important to determine if an alignment was necessary. He has told me that he needed to take the $89.99 for an alignment off the invoice. Not only had my requested alignment check not been performed, he / Discount Tire were ready to charge me for an alignment. The man in the Red shirt assisted. Historically, Discount Tire has been the place to go for integrity, honest quality and service. Apparently, Not Now..

My sister took it in the next day and reminded them that she had to be out before 11 and the woman at the counter got a little irate with her. When she got to my car the pressure was different on each tire, ranging from 37-29 psi. That is insane, I had to go to the Wawa and put air in my tires after paying an additional $50 for balancing (which needs to be refunded) and $40 for installation and to be honest they really don't look brand new to me. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location for ANYTHING, and it's the closest location to me.

No one in this area had my friend's tire in stock, so we saw this sign "We Fix Flats" so we pulled into Henry's! This mechanic shop wasn't fancy, but there was no wait and they were happy to come to our aid! In a matter of minutes JR patched our original tire and was so gracious and concerned! He was helpful and informative and basically "saved the day"!!! He wanted to make sure we got home safe! What a good guy!! We were thankful to have found this roadside shop and would recommend them for fairness, fast service, and customer care! They won't steer you wrong! Now we can head home singing ...
