Yeah, I just went there with a car that has fittings. I got informed that they didn't know what zirk fittings were, and I explained to them what they were, and they said, well, we don't have the tool to grease a Zerk fitting, seeing that is part of a standard lubian oil job, if you have zurich fittings, don't go there because they can't do the full service. They told me that the tire is fine and I knew that it wasn't fine because my PSI was lower than the other tires anyways they answered the phone and told me to come in once I came in. Showed up to get an oil change @ shop opening they took my information and keys & then I waited half hour just to be told no mechanics had showed up to work and it's unknown if any would show up. It's not the first time this has happened at this location. When I asked why this keeps happening the front desk personnel told me there's nothing they can do to enforce employees to show up for work (write ups/termination) because they are short staffed and they can't afford to loose workers so we just let make their own schedules. I was very pleased and relieved by their fairness! The woman and the man at the front were so nice - I didn't catch their names. My car stalled right before I brought it in. They inspected it and took it for a drive. After waiting over an hour, they came back to me and said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. They didn't charge me the inspection fee. I feel that that is fair, but also such a sigh of relief considering how many other auto shops try to nickel and dime you, especially being a woman. It was nice to have the peace of mind that my car is ok, and the woman said maybe it was watery gas from a gas station, but other than that she didn't know. I've come here for years to get my oil changed and inspections and such. Well not even a year ago I got a 2013 Santa Fe. A month ago we brought it in and asked them to look over everything because something felt off and having 5 kids, 3 of which are toddlers, we wanted to make sure our car was safe and wouldn't break down. When they told us there was a leak in the timing cover and it would take a week to fix for $3500 we told them okay fix it. Now after having it back for a week we see oil under the car. They say bring it in. So now after ANOTHER week of them fixing what they said was a hairline crack in the front cover that expanded with heat and was now leaking a substantial amount of oil, we expect to get our car back working. No. Now they say it's still leaking a substantial amount of oil from the head gasket. Now we've been driving our car with a wonky head gasket that's been leaking for who knows how long which has gotten into who knows how many places (cylinders, alternator, etc) and they won't touch it. Which this could have been found the first time had they looked it over properly or while the motor was already apart and we would have a fixed car for $3500. Now we have a car that we can't drive and have spent $3500 to have an even more broken car that will take at least $1500 more to fix and now can't even afford a rental because they straight robbed us. read more

This shop goes above and beyond. Not only are they extremely reasonable with their pricing but their customer service is great. David went above the call of duty to find me a break hose for my Yaris, and even though it ended up being a dealer-only part, he still made sure every option was exhausted before letting me know what my next course of action was. It's going on 3 weeks now and I have yet to hear anything from Corporate not to mention I've called for a response and the phone message always relays the message, " you are caller number 1 and someone will be with you shortly". After a day attending Bier Fest at Busch Gardens, we came out to discover our vehicle had a flat tire. Went about putting the spare tire on and woke up early to go around to get the tire fixed. Mind you, this is our last day of our vacation and we need to check out of the hotel by 11am. First stop was the trusty name brand shop, I go to local to me outside of Philadelphia, Firestone complete auto care. Long story short, they turned me away and told me I needed a new tire. Considering I've plugged multiple tires in the past on my own, I knew that was I lie. A little searching around and we found Tread Quarters, we called, spoke to Dave and was told to be there at 9:30am. Dave told me he would have us in and out before our hotel check out time and it would only cost $25. To say the least, we were there promptly at that time. Dave, warned me that they were running just a little behind schedule and would fit me in ASAP. He held true to his word. After waiting a total of 45 mins and $25 out of my pocket, we were on the way out the door with tire fixed. This is an outstanding place!!! Traveling alone with my kids when my back right brake began grinding (locked up brake caliper) I was relieved they agreed to let me bring it right in, and immediately put it up in the lift to assess. The kids and I took an Uber to Colonial Williamsburg and I had my husband call Dave to verify the issue and price. The price was high ($500 compared to $350 at Monro Muffler) But I didn't have a lot of options at that point, so my husband said to pay it, but not one dime more and not to let them do anything else to my car. Later Dave told me to be there between 5-5:30pm to pick it up, but when I arrived at 5:15 I was told the tech still had it on the lift, now with the other side's tire off and refused to put it back on because it was "unsafe". I told the guy at the desk that my husband and Dave had agreed on a price and that they were NOT to do the other side. The guy was snarky and said Dave left early and always leaves him with all the problems. I had to have my husband call again and tell them to put my car back together and let me leave. Six days later I'm back in my home state and my other brake caliper is completely FINE. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because they did get me in the same day and the techs I spoke with were nice. read more

I made a visit after one of my tires punctured at the outlet and we had to get back to No VA that night. Pros- the guy gave me an honest assessment on what tire I should get even though other tires were more expensive. Got tire installed w/in 45 minutes. Cons- they didn't bother to put my spare tire back in the compartment as I expected; and my new tire was inflated at 32 psi whereas the other tires were at 38 psi. That's just subpar work. During our visit to Williamsburg, we had a very unexpected incident occur. We were stuck with two flat tires, both on the passenger side (apparently so did like 100 other people). It seemed like every tire place within a 10 mile radius was booked solid. We were referred to TQ, where our service was excellent! Blair at the front desk was very helpful and ensured that we were back on the road quickly due to our sensitive time frame (coming home to Philly on a Sunday evening). They offer professional, quick and thoughtful service. The tire pressure light in my car was on and I tried to fix it but the light was still on. I drove to the other two shops but none of them bothered to talk to me after more than 10 minutes wait at each shop. It was Friday afternoon and I understand they were busy. I then found Tread Quarters across the street. The mechanic at Tread Quarters checked the tire pressure immediately and helped me turned the tire pressure light off. He also replaced two caps (one was missing when I tried to fix the car while the other was old). They charged nothing for the service! I don't know much about cars and was a little panic when there was a problem. I'm grateful that they helped me solve the problem immediately. Great service. read more

Do not EVER take your car to be inspected here. They are con men & immoral at best. Our car was running perfectly fine before we took it to be inspected & now it's completely fucked. (Sorry for the language) I should have known better from last year when they claimed the left tire rod needed to be replaced, and my husband ended up replacing the right by accident. They didn't EVEN CHECK. They just put a sticker on it. They replaced the rear brakes, and calipers this year and it's shaking so badly that it cannot be driven. They did an "alignment" that did absolutely nothing but make it worse. $100 down the drain. We even bought 4 brand new tires. $400+ later & nothing to show but a car that cannot be driven properly which is the point of a state inspection, right? to make sure the car is safe to drive? I am extremely irritated & I am warning y'all, it's a waste of your time & money. BTW, the best place to get new tires with AMAZING customer service is Rodney's Tires!! read more

Wanted to like this place but my experience with Tread Quarters I will not return. Got a new tire and had to keep adding air, bought the protection plan. Needed a second tire and said they found the problem with the first new tire and fixed it. Yeah they fixed it by switching out a valve stem from one of my other tires that started to lose air after my visit. I drive my young children around and if they are going to put people at risk on the road, they don't deserve to be in business. Won't ever return. read more
