It was time for my car to get new tires. The place which I had initially gone to estimated about $1000 to get new tires and have a wheel alignment and one other thing I can't remember so I did my own looking around to compare prices and turns out Walmart did the exact same work for a much lower price. I'm glad I did my exploring of other businesses because I saved myself so much money and honestly, Walmart did a great job not only were they done in about an hour, but they did a great job overall and kept me updated on the process and since I paid in advance. It was easy to just pick up my car when they were done, which they texted me when it was done. I will definitely be retarding for an oil change because their oil changes are also much cheaper. This Walmart in Windsor is great, I bought my Everstart car battery in Rohnert Park, they don't install car batteries. I drove up to Walmart in Windsor and they fit me in without an appointment and installed it. Everyone was friendly at the auto center, you could see all the mechanics hard at work in the different bays. I wish I lived closer, I would take my car to them for all needed services. read more

Only thing was they weren't able to the do cabin air filter. Have taken the car here many times before for tires, oil changes, etc. Good experience. read more

I've been to many places for oil changes, but recently I visited Walmart because it's close to my home and I'm so glad I did. The service greeter, Brian P.was very friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The technician, Austin H., did an excellent job with the oil change. After driving away, I was amazed at how smooth and fast my car felt . it was like driving a brand-new vehicle! I even had to remind myself to slow down. The price was very reasonable, and I really appreciated that no one tried to upsell me or push extra services I didn't need. I'm very happy and thankful for the hard work and honesty of the team. I even tried to tip them, but learned they're not allowed to accept tips which shows even more how dedicated they are to great service. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

My battery was failing, it was less than 3 years old, purchased at Walmart. My previous battery was also a Walmart, it lasted 5 years. They took me in without an appointment and I was out of there with a free new battery in less than an hour. Junior was extremely rude and lacks costumer support. I had an appointment for an oil change and when I park at one of the lanes he got frustrated; yelled at me to move my car. Okay fine. The entire time he was extremely passive aggressive with me. As they were working on my car I decided to buy a couple things (electronic department w Walmart pay, she was super sweet). I come back to check up on my car and it was ready. Junior rung me up and the entire checkout process was pure silent. I again used Walmart pay to close out, he saw my other items and demanded a receipt. At this point I was beyond frustrated, I showed him the receipt on my phone and again silence. He finally handed my keys and I said "thank you have a nice day", he looks at me and had no reaction. I work in the restaurant industry, I deal with costumers.. but nobody deserves to be treated this way. I hope Junior has better days. Perhaps it was just a rough long day, but after today I'd rather have someone else. read more

Best oil change ever!! Extremely quick and efficient and only cost me about $56 to get in oil change. In comparison, Valvoline is a total scam and charged me an arm and a leg to get in oil change meeting around $130. This place is the best place to get an oil change in America. Don't underestimate how good this place is. The mechanics got the job done so quickly and thoroughly that I came out with a smile on my face and I can't say that amount about most franchise shops that change my oil.Will only go here for oil changes! read more

Wow- walked in and the guy was on the iPad- saw me- said nothing- like "hi! Give me a min" nothing. I said "hi" and stood there patiently. No line, nothing- he walked to tell his coworker something. And then I just asked if they do oil changes (cause I just moved here and have no idea) he looked at me and said "yeah but it's going to be over an hour wait" just frustrated I wouldn't have minded waiting but that customer service was horrible! Never again. I Checking at 1.06 pm for tire installation. I was told it would be less than an hour. I had to go to work. It was 2 hours after that they even start working my car , after I went look for someone to ask what was going on. No one was at the desk for more than an hour. I am still waiting now, 2.5 hrs since checked in. Hopefully I will not have to come back to complain about the service quality. read more

Showed up at 7:45 am on a Sunday for an oil change. They didn't open until 8:15 am. Then I waited until 9:00 am before I realized you have to walk up to the auto counter to get checked in. By then, another guy behind me checked in and I was now 3rd in line and he got to go ahead of me. Just plan on spending 2 hours shopping while they're doing the oil change as they are a bit slow. I asked for Mobile 1 and I'm not sure I got that as the work order doesn't show that. I was told they have Mobile 1 in bulk and the price is the same as their Pennzoil full synthetic. The price for a full synthetic oil change is unbeatable though at $44.88 which includes vacuuming your car, adjusting the tire pressure, and checking all fluids like power steering, etc. No high pressure upsale on air filters, transmission service, wipers, differential like at Oilstop. By the way, Oilstop charges $87.99 for a Mobile 1 synthetic oil change. read more

Doesn't even warrant a half star. DON'T go there unless you have at least 5 hours on your hands to wait for an oil change. I never did get my oil changed. I got there at 12:15, and at 4 o'clock my car still hadn't even been pulled into the garage. It was a couple that had been waiting there since 10:20 this morning and their car was in the garage and they'd begun working on it, however it sat there for an hour, half way through it's oil change with nobody doing anything to it. Now, to be fair, I was told by a friend that the later I got there, the longer I'd have to wait, and the gentleman behind the desk told me it would be about three hours. I had a little time to kill and some shopping to do, so into Walmart I went leaving my car in a cue of 4 other cars ahead of me. Another guy, who's car was next up in the cue, had some damage done to his car while they were trying to drive it into the garage. Another couple's battery died during the oil change (they had also been there since 10:00) and were pretty sure that the mechanics must have left something on or running, causing the battery to die. So, in conclusion, Walmart sold a brand new battery to the one couple and got $50.00 out of me from shopping while I was waiting. So, in essence, I PAID THEM to waste my time. read more

Never again!! They gave my key to another customer!! I bought my tires here about a year ago and started having problems with one of my tires because it was under warranty I brought it back to be serviced. When I came to pick up my car they couldn't find my keys. After about 30 mins of chaos and plying the guessing game of where they might have left them they find out that they have given my key to another customer. The other customer had a similar vehicle they rang him out under my name and receipt and then handed over my keys to him not knowing they left his in his vehicle. They should of matched his receipt to my ticket number on my keys which they failed to do. I then had to wait another hour for the customer to bring my key back on good faith. They even had the nerve to ask me if I can wait until tomorrow to pick my keys up then. Never ever will I be back to place again and others should not as well none of the employees had any idea as to what was going on and was not willing to take responsibility for their actions. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE! DON'T BOTHER. There are no appointments to be had, no list, and don't bother calling ahead to get a wait time, it's a literal waste of time and money. Tried 3 days in a row, lost a lot of time waiting, and get treated poorly by just about every employee in automotive. I was ignored for a while, then when I asked for information I was handled abruptly. When I called ahead I was told no wait, no line, I rolled up ten minutes later but all techs are suddenly off to lunch and would be gone for "several hours". I was hopeful that Walmarts Auto Center would exceed the expectations I had based on the yelp reviews but they lived up to the low stars. I scheduled an 8am appointment to have 2 tires changed because they were the only tire place to carry my exact tires. I arrived just before 8 and the garage doors were shut, I walked into the auto section of the store and there were already 5 people standing in line ahead of me and no auto tech insight. Eventually they showed up and one at a time took us out to our car to confirm what work needed done, I was told that I would have "priority" because I had scheduled an appointment...nope. Online it says that it should take less than an hour for 2 tires. Got there at 8am for my 8am appointment, I kid you not I left at 11am on the dot. Im not normally one to complain or leave poor reviews but 3 hours is ridiculous. The only positive is that when I did speak to the auto techs they were all nice. Overall disappointing experience that will deter me from going back in the future read more

This is one of the worst run businesses I have ever been to. I ordered 4 tires from walmart.com. I then waited two weeks for them to arrive at the walmart store in Windsor California. I received a notice that they arrived at the store and for me to come in a pick them up (they were prepaid on line). I arrived at the store at 3 pm and there was no one there to help. I found 4 people surrounding a car out in one of the bays that everyone was talking to the owner about the new car (it was a new 2018 Camero) and they could care less about 3 customers in the store. I finally asked them for help and they came back inside 5 minutes later. I showed them the reciept for the tires and confirmation of the tires at the store. I was told the wait would be 2 1/2 hours. I asked why since the bays were empty. I was told there was one car yet to be done and then they were going on an hour break !!! at 4 pm!! Well it was raining and I thought I could do some shopping at Walmart while I waited. I returned to an empty shop again and waited in the waiting room. At 5:30pm I looked out in the shop and there were no cars there and two of the guys were sitting down, so I asked about my car tires. They said no one gave them the keys. I found the keys for them and they pulled the car into the shop. They then disappeared for 1/2 hour and I found them again outside the shop and asked if there was a problem. They said they could not find the tires. !!!! I asked for my receipt back showing the purchase and went to the return desk to get a full refund. There was 6 people waiting in line and only one sales person to help. It took another 45 minutes to get my refund. I then had to walk back to the shop a the other end of the store (believe me Walmart is big !!) and found my car but no keys. The guy left the shop with my keys and went for a break. I found him back at the front of the store smoking a cigarette and he said he was sorry, he forgot to leave the keys for me. Another hike back to the shop. So now I have been in the automotive shop of Walmart for 4 hours and don;t have any new tires except i lost 4 hours of my life doing nothing. This is one bad business, just like all the other reviewers have shown before me. Stay away. Buy your tires anywhere else. The prices are low (not that low) but the service is the absolute worst. The saving you think you get are totally wasted on bad service and poor workmanship !!! SAD !!! read more

I have shopped at this store off & on for years but today was the 1st time I needed to call. The automated system said to press 0 to speak to a Representative since the other options were Pharmacy, Electronics & Pick-up, which I didn't need. After pressing 0 the phone rang 30 times when the automated system said all Reps were busy helping customers. I called back with the same results. I then called Electronics & again after 25 rings the message came on everyone was busy. So I tried Pick-up with the same results. Finally I called Pharmacy & after about 12 rings someone answered & didn't seem to pleased having to transfer me to the Garden Center. The Pharmacy must get a lot of calls to be transferred since no other Departments answer their phones. In conclusion I feel this must be the Wal-Mart way of providing customer service. I guess if Wal-Mart's Headquarters are in Arkansas it's to be expected, low pay with very little customer service provided. I would've given 0 star's but it wasn't offered. read more

Do not order trailer tires online expecting the auto center to mount them. They will quote you about $25 to mount and balance the tires. What they don't tell you is that they will not remove and replace the tires on your trailer. They will not let you drive into the shop and expect you to remove and replace the tires in their parking lot. All it takes is 5 minutes with a trolley jack to do that job. Took me close to 45 minutes to do it myself. I should have sent the tires back but I needed to meet people to go to the lake. Never again !!! read more
