Was on a mission to obtain a tire and rim preferably a spare tire non aluminum (they are more expensive I guess). You sign in basically saying if you get hurt pulling and not being safe it's on you. Pay a few bucks and head on back in probably the largest scavenger hunt you can do for car parts. I will say they do have car makers marked with signs such as Ford, Chrysler, small trucks and Vans etc. did make it easier to figure what we were after. We found a nice spare on the underside of a onced upon a time SUV. They do have wheelbarrow type things for large parts instead of attempting to carry it back to the entrance to cash out. Lucky for us a tire rolls. It was a bit dirty but we got it to the front cashed out. They do accept cash and card. Don't wear nice clothes (was a last minute stop for us). And must have closed toe shoes for obvious reasons you're in a junk yard. I didn't see any nails but doesn't mean they weren't there. Safety first. But definitely a place to check out if you're needing a replacement something for your car and can do it yourself

Love coming here! Friendly people, dropping cars here is a breeze. I bring them cars all the time and let the tow company tow them in and not have to worry about anything. Reasonable prices, Paid quickly, paper work is always easy. Thank you!

My receipt for 2 tires purchased for above the quoted and posted price of $20 each.

I have been to this pick n pull many times before and have never had an issue with service, however, that changed a few days ago when I went to buy a couple of tires. I found two tires, one with a decent amount of tread, and one that was poor, but was the only other tire in the size that I needed. Two yellow signs posted above the tires clearly stated the price. Any tire under 20in rim was 20. 20inch rims and above were $25 and up. I had 2 sixteen inch tires, so I expected to pay the posted price of $20 a piece. This was also the over the phone quote that I had received prior to going in. When I got to the counter, Angel, the sales person, who also claimed to be the manager, told me the tires were 22.99 each. When I told her that I had been quoted something different over the phone, her response was to raise her voice and say, louder this time, "22.99 each" I then pointed out that the sign posted above the tires also indicated that they were $20 each. Again, and even louder this time she said 22.99 each and that's not changing". I told her I really didn't have a problem with paying 22.99 for each tire, I just had a problem with the fact that I was quoted a lesser price in the phone and that their posted price was not being honoered. She then rolled her eyes and YELLED, $45.98 plus tax, take it or leave it. I asked if there was a manager there that I cou ok d speak with, she yelled again, "You're looking at her". Wow. Really??? I asked her babe and she said Angel Montgomery. I got home and was really irked by the way I was treated by Angel. She was certainly no Angel. I tried to find a Corporate number for PicknPull. Somehow I ended up speaking with a Supervisor at CashForCars. He informed me that there really was no one to refer me to regarding my concern and he suggested that I fill out a customer survey online. So I was treated very poorly by a sore manager and now I'm being told to complete an online survey to express my concern. I'm really dissappointed. I'll be back because I have found value in the service they offer for reasonable prices, but I will always have a very tainted view about the lack of professionalism, the incredible rudeness, and the ignorance shown by the store manager, Angel. Sorry PicknPull. Your manager cost you two stars in this review.

Not the best salvage yard I've seen, but I got some great parts here for great prices. Even saw a rare Scandinavian sportscar!

The initial research only put an additional layer of confusion on the process. I remembered Cartelligent as an option to purchase a car and the process began. Zach was on it! There was never any pressure to buy however he took the time to understand our requests and did the research to find exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The demand on the car was high however he was able to locate the vehicle and get it to us in a timely manner. No more dealerships and sales managers for us. Thank You. Tom and Robin R.

It seems like it can be good in the right circumstance, but it's worth being a bit careful about it. A friend highly recommended the advisor, saying that they'd saved her a lot of money on her car lease and made the process easy for her. I called and talked for over an hour to the advisor. They were knowledgable and friendly - great customer service. I figured that I may be able to save a little money by looking for a deal myself, but that I wanted to save the time and hassle, so the cost would be worth it. Also, I liked the idea that Cartelligent had access to better deals than I would by purchasing at volume from fleet managers. My plan was to lightly get offer prices myself, compare them to the price Cartelligent got, and then hopefully having validated that they were beating my price sufficiently, I could use them forever and rest assured that it was a worthwhile deal. I reached out to a few dealerships and got opening offers. I was shocked when my Cartelligent advisor came back with an initial price that was worse than three of the five dealerships I'd reached out to, and that was before their $600 fee. When I explained this, they responded a little defensively and asked for proof I had better deals. When I provided it, they came back the next day with an offer $50 a month cheaper than the one they first sent me - a cost difference of $1,800 over the course of the lease! Thank goodness I'd looked on my own and not taken their word for it. The experience shook my faith a bit, so I decided to negotiate with the other dealerships myself and compare. Once I got a bit further into the process, I gave Cartelligent the ability to win my business if they could get to a specific number by dropping their quote a little further. They were unable to do so, so I kept negotiations up elsewhere. Specifically, when I asked if they could get to that number, the whole email they wrote back was "That's awesome. That's a great deal" and that was the last I ever heard from them. With a little bit of work, I ultimately was able to secure a lower price than Cartelligent had before taking their $600 fee into account. Using Cartelligent would have cost me many hundreds of dollars more than negotiating on my own over the course of my lease. At the same time, I was trying to sell my car through them. I did their thorough online process, taking pictures and filling out the form. After it was clear I was going to negotiate a bit and not just take their first price, I stopped hearing about the sale process from the advisor. After the "That's awesome" email, I never heard back from them again, even after asking for updates on the sales process over email. They ultimately never gave me a quote on my car. I think they got mad at me and ghosted me, which I found surprising and unprofessional. It's possible I was able to get an unusually good deal because the EV market is weak right now. The second quote - the one $50 lower - was reasonable, and it did take me a little work to beat it. However, it was clear to me that you should always do your own due diligence and get quotes to check the ones they give you. If you do that, ultimately, you aren't really saving yourself that much work, so I'm not sure the $600 fee is worth it. Edit: David reached out, and we talked about my experience. He sounded as surprised as I was by my experience, and he's looking into it. I was impressed that he would follow up!

I was told I could either get an online quote or come in for a better assessment and appropriate value, so I scheduled an appointment and drove in. When I arrived on time, I waited nearly 20 minutes. Eventually I was informed that the in-person appraisal would be very similar to the online quote, which made the visit feel unnecessary. The facility itself is clean and they have a nice selection of vehicles. However, I did have some difficulty getting assistance. I had to knock on an office door to get someone's attention before being connected with a representative. Overall, I'm sure CarMax is a good place to purchase a vehicle, but my appraisal experience could have been more efficient and better communicated.

So then me and my daughter proceeded to look for the car she wants , we found it . Ok no problem ,, so we went and sat down ,,, 35 minutes later I went back up to the desk and asked hey do you know how much longer it will be ? Ken answers not sure , you still have the same one person in front of you ! We decided to just leave and buy the car elsewhere, Ken was friendly and professional unlike the guy who greeted us . Unfortunately carmax lost a sale and a potential customer , whats also weird is I counted 11 people in the show room standing around ( I took a photo but won't post it due to their faces being clear in the photo ) ,, on their phones doing absolutely nothing ! I actually asked what about all these people standing around , and the response I got was they are all with customers lol ,,, their was NO customers with these people , they were on their phones and chatting with each other . Went online to CarMax.com and entered the VIN. Within seconds, on the website I get an 'offer' to buy my car. It says Carmax will buy your car for $64k-$73k. First and foremost, I knew they would lowball, but thought it was free to at least try. Here's the key to the bait and switch which is well documented online in reviews and with the BBB. The 'offer' stipulates that the car must be brought in to the nearest CarMax for the 'sales team' to further evaluate and ultimately determine what the sale price will be based on the spectrum they sent me. Ok. New car. Perfect condition. Logical that they'd offer the highest number...even though that number is significantly less than KBB. Drove to Santa Rosa, pleasant enough sales guy looks at the car and with 45 minutes I receive a written offer for just above the lowest amount initially sent to me. I was confused and said to the sales person, but your offer was a range and this is so low, why wouldn't you offer me the higher number as the car is new? She said, what offer did we send you? I grabbed my phone and looked at all the emails that were sent to me when I got my offer online from CarMax. I was so confused, NONE of the emails had the offer amounts. Did I lose it? I then realized. The offer that CarMax sends to you is only on your computer screen and when you close down (as you have confirmation emails right?), the offer numbers are GONE. The high number they flash on the screen is JUST a way to get people to come to the dealership where they then give you a lowball offer. Shame on me for falling for this, at best, deceptive scam, at worst, illegal business practice-one that is clearly VERY common based on all the reviews out there. Beware.
