This review is about the optometry store at this Walmart. Today I walked in with a new pair of glasses that were mailed to me. A gentleman named Scott greeted me, and I asked him if he could fit the new glasses for me. He was not only helpful but went out of his way to make sure that I felt completely comfortable with the glasses--all the time with a polite smile on his face. And, there was no cost involved. Amie works in the camera department was very rude and gave my mother fake explanation as to why our photos were lost. A year worth of photos were lost due to them loosing them, for month I been trying to get answers but I keep getting sent back and forth between different companies and departments. And they turned my husband away like he wanted his was a criminal. They were going to make more money not lose money. GMC has never been used, box never opened. I had to call the asst store director. I saw a bike I wanted for my son for his bday. It was the only one in stock. First of all, I couldn't find anyone that could help me get the bike off the shelf. I went to another department and got someone else. She was super friendly and confirmed I could put on layaway. As I was walking with the bike towards the end of earth 2 other associates confirmed I could put it on layaway while the 3rd associate gave me a cart. I get to layaway and I ask (per one of the associates suggesting since it was a display item with no box) if I could get a 5 or 10% discount. When she called for approval the supervisor said a) I could not put on layaway since it wasn't boxed and b) There was no discount. I asked to speak with her. Once she decided to stop by she told me there was no way they could store it since it wasn't boxed. I said "Ok so all the people that just confirmed I could were wrong?" She answered "Yes. They all made you waste your time by coming here". I was upset by now so I said fine... I'll just buy it now and stash it somewhere until his birthday (3 weeks away). I asked if there was any discount. She then called for another supervisor, came, inspected and proceeded to call yet another supervisor on the walkie and said "Yeah this customer wants a discount on a bike that honestly has nothing wrong with it. I could literally just clean it for her and its perfect. I mean? Its dust. Thats all. And she still insists on a discount" ok so now I was freaking mad. A) I in NO minute of this horrendous customer service exchange INSISTED on a discount. B) the bike WAS a tad scratched up. The other person on the phone said ok and they gave.me the 10%. Whatever. As I was leaving, the white lady tells the Mexican lady "Oh my god these people got me "loca" today, which means crazy, and I don't think by "these" people she meant others besides uhm Me!? At that point. So I turned my cart and started talking to both in fluent Spanish ... And asked them to please get their staff correct training to avoid wasting their customers time. read more

Super big and nicest Walmart I've been to. Although it does get super packed it's not their fault! they should open more registers tho... they do have very cute things and everything you'll need at cheaper prices! Purchase a battery for my watch and the new battery did not work so I tried to return the battery and they did not return my money to me. There was not posting about the watch policy and I was not inform about the watch policy either. So If you need a watch make sure the battery is out of your watch cause they don't open or put battery in watch's anymore. read more

This Walmart is pretty atrocious if I'm being honest; I wish there was a way to give it zero stars. Nearly all of the school supplies & other stationery items were mislabeled. In addition to false labels, the customer service while checking out was utterly rude. Her name was Raquel and she flat out terrible. She kept on taking deep breaths out of annoyance, mumbling under her breath, and had awful people skills. I wish I hadn't spent my money here and I won't ever return to this Walmart. If you plan on ordering online DO not & I repeat DO NOT have your order sent to this store. They changed their check-in/check-out system from last year so instead of picking orders up easily in back by electronics it is now at the front of the store. The first order I picked up last month wasn't quite TOO bad & I figured with a computer system it was intended to IMPROVE this service. I had one other order sent to this store which was just a pair of boys PJ's. I received notice it was ready a few days ago & would only be held until 12/6. I had already hit the Walmart on Black Friday but for some reason this year the kids pj's in most sizes weren't available. I had seen a sign at the order pick up about checking in online before coming for a 5 min wait???? I researched for some time about doing this but it got too complicated so I headed to the store on Sunday 12/3 around 7pm. Parking lot was packed so by the time I walked to the store I was already tired. There was a big line of people standing and a large area with people sitting. There was a line of people waiting "apparently" to just check in manually as THE COMPUTER was down/broken or whatever?? I decided to wait on this pickup as I still had a couple days. Tonight 12/6 was my deadline so again I tried to do the online check in to no avail. I signed in at the computer at 7:41 pm (They close pick-up a 8pm) After a 20 min wait & tons of people also waiting I did not see my name on screen so with 1 minute to spare signed in again. It was obvious later that only 12 names appeared on screen and those same 12 names were not moving to show status of any others. When I finally saw my name about 40 minutes later the status just showed "checked in". Looking around I counted about 25-30 people waiting & knew it would be awhile. Went thru whole store and browsed, got two things to purchase, came back & exact same status-went next to line and checked out my stuff. At apprx 8:30 or 8:45pm the assistant manager came to try and move this line out. There were only 3 employees retrieving things and they were doing this one package at a time! The asst manager then asked if anyone else did not have their name on "Clipboard" WHAT??? This is 1st anyone said anything about signing in manually also. The lady that came in same time as me said same thing but noted the item just retrieved was possibly hers-she still was told to sign clipboard & myself & others did so as well-Now even tho the packages for some were retrieved someone else had to do the official "check out" so in some cases that took 10 minutes more. Yes I should have walked out but now it's not just the principal but a matter of time investment. Of course the PJ's have been jacked up in price since my order also. It's now after 9pm & when I questioned asst mgr as to why more than one pkg couldn't be retrieved she said "they're now getting 2 at a time-didn't want them to forget the numbers if more than that!" WHAT?? I told her this new system is not working and the other walmart in CV was an in and out for me. She stated "all of the walmarts will soon be going to this system" WHAT? A lot of complaints will be coming I told her. It's now down from 20 people to about 5 and guess who is the last on their list-Yeah ME! I am more than a patient person but this is totally ridiculous-I told her I could get the PJ's from floor myself. I had a feeling, however that the lockers at the front that I had seen them open several times were holding my 1 1/2 hour wait for PJ's! One of the "new" retrieval persons comes up with 2 final packages & the asst mgr asked about my pkg- the girl says "they're in the locker" OMG I said out loud "I knew it!" Why in the heck could they not go thru order #'s on list that were small enough to be in that locker. I got out of there at 9:21 with 9 minutes to spare to get my gas at COSTCO! This Wal-Mart is always looking trashed and there are always pallets of stuff everywhere if you go in evening so you can never get around the store that well and if people are taking stuff off the pallets and you need to get around them they give you nasty looks like you are not welcome there. They never have my daughters size in clothes which she is 24 months-2T but in the granimals brand they seem to always be out of her size and only have 12 months-18 months or the 3T-4T sizes. The lines are always long cause they usually have only 4 registers. I only come to this Wal-Mart cause all the other ones are so far away from me. I have been to the Wal-Marts in East County and they have better customer service and the stores are always clean and organized. read more

I asked a question about a video game strategy guide to the first employee and I knew, the first employee didn't understand me so the first employee told me to ask the other employee close by. I asked the same question to the other employee but I knew, the other employee didn't understand me and said to me, "I never heard it". The other employee told me to asked the first employee because the first employee runs the video game department. When I approach the first employee, the first employee told me to ask the other same employee to help me and the first employee left me. I reported both employee to the manager and told the whole story. When the manager confronted both employees and both employees said that they helped me and they don't know why I'm saying that they didn't help me. I got mad about their huge lies to the manager. The manager believes both employees not me. It's sad how the Walmart treated the customers poorly. I will never buy anything from Walmart again. read more

I usually come to this Walmart and it is ALWAYS packed! Today I needed spray paint so I went to the paint area and found OSCAR who was extremely helpful and showed me exactly what to get. If you need paint find him cause most of the time grabbing a random employee will set you up for failure! Especially if you ask for an item they say they don't have it and you end up finding it on your own. The best time to go here is as soon as it opens. He refused to help me with an item that wouldn't scan saying that he could scan it in the front... why should I have two transactions and wait for him to come back from talking to the cart guy to purchase something? The worst Walmart, or any store I've ever deal with. Tried to order a photo banner online with a one day turnaround. Supposed to receive a text and email when completed that was supposed to be done by 1pm. Never got a notification so I call to follow up around 3pm. I got transferred four times by people who had no clue between photo dept/the Walmart.com dept/store manager before getting hung up on twice. Finally I get ahold of asst store manager Victor who assured me that they will call when it was completed because they hadn't started on it. Never got a call back. Canceled my order and transferred it to a different location. Stay away from this mismanaged, horrible customer servicing, hardly speaks English, store. Someone needs to contact the Waltons to fire everyone there and start over. This place is terrible. This would receive less than one star if I could rate it for what it deserves. read more

I have spoken to the store manager Kimberly Sosa twice about the horrible service at the customer service desk concerning sending money. The employees there are so disrespectful to customers and just plain nasty. That entire section should be fired and so should the front end managers in the yellow vests. A yellow vest manager (black woman with braids) was present as a customer service cashier started an argument with me. I was being taken care of by another customer service cashier and NOT her customer as she interjected herself in my transaction. The "manager" was worthless in getting this issue resolved or telling the cashier to keep quite. I only come to this store to send money to family members. I will NEVER shop and spend my money here. I live across the street on Oxford and I prefer going to TARGET for good customer service. This Wal-Mart is terrible. read more

Worst experience I've ever had in a store! They tried to steel $60 from be by sneaking it into my total, when things didn't add up I stopped and added everything up one by one and found that magically $60 was being added into my total, once I found this out and asked for a manager, who NEVER SHOWED THIR FACE, I was held their for OVER AN HOUR just to be told that Oh their system was down and they couldn't review the transaction. Of course not, the assistant manager deleted the transaction t get rid of the evidence when I told her not to. Very Rude people after an hot and 15 minutes at 10pm I was told "come back tomorrow", WHAT THE HELL??? when I asked for the Assistant Manager's name so I can file a complaint she put her hand in my face and said good bye and she would not give me her name. This place is generally okay. However, I bought a table and chairs for my son and the back of the chair ripped off when I moved it. It looks dry rotted! I called and could not return or exchange without the box...I am supposed to keep that big box? I was thrilled with the purchase and had no intentions of returning it or anything else. For what? I went to Walmart on thanksgiving, I usually dont shop around this time because of the craziness.. I just need to say I was very impressed how organized Wamart was this year , I didnt wait in line very long, they gave out tickets for , xbox kinect,, you pay the cashier and they bring your game to you. I cant forget the customer service,which was awesome, especially one of the cashiers, Roberta, she was very helpful, and professional , she went the extra mild, she said she was a temp, but she needs to be permanant. read more

i come here often and the staff are usually super friendly but this lady that was working in the cashier 8 name Hilda raised her voiced at me and my wife after we asked her about a paper we recieved from another staff that said 50% off and she rudely told me to removed it and after i removed it she didnt even explain what it was for, me and my wife was super embarrassed cause we werent expecting to get yelled at by a staff in front of other costumers and we just smiled it out ignoring her attitude but she continued on about a couple more items that was in our cart i had 48 cans all the same brand (vienna sausage) so i placed one along with the other items we were paying for and my wife explained it to her that we have one can placed already but she was way too busy giving us attitude for some reason, my wife told her before hand that we had more items in the cart 48(little vienna sausage cans) total and one was already in for her to scan cause we did not want her to scan it all so we decided to just leave one and told her we had 48 but she keeps bitchin. i was angry and i did not want to make a scene so we just waited for the reciept and left but then after she was all hella friendly with the next customer when she treated us like shit, i dont know if shes racist but if you decide to work in that kind of place please know how to treat all people kindly HILDA youre an adult so act like one. read more
