I honestly expected the worse when trying to get at least store credit for some items but I was not aware of their "new" policy that says they cannot give store credit without a receipt or gift receipt. I came to receive an online order curbside pick up and there was a rude ass employee by the name of Nicolas that was attending the pick ups. I got out of the car as I have picked up plenty of times and always takes like 30min for some one to attend you. Comes out screaming about I have ro move I can't be getting out the "damn car" because he has 3 orders and there's 8 cars. That's not my fault . We exchanged some words till he got to the point " my name is Nicholas and you can go ahead and complaint like the rest of the people, won't be the first time". I had the time to get down, complaint, and buy items, go back to the car where my wife was waiting for the delivery and wait 10 more minutes for the same guy I just complaint to the manager about to show up and give us our things. Hate Walmart? This would be exactly why! Besides the customers being rude all this staff here are rude with no intentions on helping you whatsoever! It seems like no matter what time I've tried to shop there either in the morning or in the night there's boxes all in the middle of the aisles were you can't even push your basket around. With staff stocking the shelves. I hadn't shop here 4 months. But my daughter was looking for film for her Polaroid camera. We arrived about 40 minutes before the store closed we found the film that we want it but it was a picture card. Which you had to take to a worker to get you the product. After waiting around for a little while in the electronics department we did not see any staff. So I walked around and found the worker asked for help she pointed me to another worker. After being sent to a total of four different workers. I had to put my foot down and ask for the manager. I told the manager what happened and the morbidly obese lady said electronics closes at nine and walked away. I had to stop her in her tracks and tell her as a manager you should inform your workers so that they don't send customer is running in circles! Today my wife, 2 kids and I went to pick up an order we placed online. A Walmart employee (Nicholas) asked if we wanted our items placed in the back seat or in the back of our truck. I replied, in the back seat please. After placing our order in the back seat he (Nicholas) while pulling his mask down very rudely told my wife, make sure next time you want us to put your order in the car you wear a mask! I responded by saying this was our 1st time ever picking up an order and we didn't know. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He proceeded by walking up to my wife's window and started cursing at my wife, kids and myself in front of a lots of other customers and employees. Not once did I use any profanity towards him. I asked another employee that was working at the door if he can please get a supervisor for me. His response was, it's not my job.. I came back to exchange it, arrived at 10:10, & a girl with red hair came up to me & said "if you're trying to return that, they're closed" & I asked "can I exchange still?" & she said "idk go ask" so I went to ask & customer service (who was on the phone saying "oh yeah babe I'm leaving right now, going to fabric & then smoking") said "sorry I can't help you, we closed at 10." & walked away. Another reason to hate Walmart. I call first to see if they have stuff for paintball and the person in sporting goods tells me "Yes, we have everything you need for paintball". So I hop in my car and head over (reluctantly since I hate Walmart). Once I get there I ask an associate where I can find said paintball gear and ammo, he points me to the general direction...nothing there. So I ask another associate and he says they don't have anything for paintball...I ask one more person and he helps me look and he is confused as to why he can't find it. This is Wal Mart is filthy, the parking lot is disgusting. You have people soliciting you selling tamales, parking lot is dark and dirty. Inside floors are dirty and don't go into the restroom, they smell and are dirty. Store front you can tell has never been cleaned, old gum on floor. Entrance looks cluttered and dirty. I first went to the Walmart store in Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill St. Where I initially purchased the Easter clearance items. I was disappointed at that location they did not except returns on holidays clearance items. Even with a receipt.. I decided to call the Fontana location on Foothill St. I spoke to Angel in customer service department. Inquiring about their after holidays / Easter items I bought on clearance. She informed me they do except returns on after holidays items. But only on conditions that the items is still in good standing/ sale able conditions. She recommend for me to bring it in and go from there. I walked in 30 min. later. Two of the ladies in the return department were not sure if they can except my returns. From their facial expression, they don't seem pleased in assisting me. Luckily for me Angel happened to walk out in the middle of my conversation with them. One of them asked Angel if they can make a return on clearance Easter merchandise . Angel came over to inspect that it's still in good condition gave them a go ahead and except my returns with a receipt. They still questioned her authority , Angel stopped to explained to the two ladies the store return policy ( Uuggh really) . Need any type of assistance - their calls for someone seem to go unheard ....it's been over 20 minutes waiting for someone to just open the paint shelf to get last item....finally got someone and it took all of 10 seconds to open shelf and hand me paint. 2. This Walmart has just locked up all their cosmetics. There is one "help" button to call an employee over to open up the cosmetics in the whole 4 aisle section....but guess what?! It doesn't work. There are no employees around that are willing to help. Walmart if you're gonna lock up stuff have people available to help! Might as well take that section off since no one will be able to buy anything from that area. I had to go to the front registers to have someone open the L'Oréal section, then the employee does not hand it to you till it's paid for. O. This day I also went to buy plastic rain coats,, they were all over the place but nothing I needed. The store was not stocked with a lot of empty pegs and shelf's. The reason I posted this was due to a recent trip to pick up some site to store items. The line was aprox 30-45 mins long, when I finally reached the front, they could not find half my order. Total confusion and understaffed in the customer service dept. they have three employees shareing one computer as they attempt to fill customers site to store orders as well as run the photo department. Not to mention its a mess, employees are tripping over boxes of cardboard as they try to process orders. Complete mess, never got the second half of my Order. The only thing that I will complain about is that whenever you go in to purchase something, it's usually just empty places where things should be. I've taken my sister to go get makeup and false lashes and each time we've gone it's still empty...kind of like they never refilled it. Than the other thing I've noticed is, the selection this Walmart has of food has really dwindled down. I'm thinking maybe because they want to open more Walmart Neighborhood stores that's why it's gotten like that. Last, the bathrooms are gross. Either all the toilet paper be spread out on the floor, all the toilet seat covers be completely empty, wet floors in the stalls. Or even if someone has just cleaned it (yes I've been in there right after it had just been done.) But the bathrooms smell so bad! I'm not sensitive to smells but I have to hold my breath. Maybe an air freshener or two will help that. Honestly though, my experience weren't so bad that I'm never coming back, I will continue to shop here.
