This is my favorite Walmart. They usually have in stock what I need. They actually carry alot of the items that's not available in the one in Pasadena which is closer to where I live. So I make my majority of my purchases here. You can use the app to pre-order online and they will bring it to your vehicle. Or go inside. There's plenty of parking available. My only problem is when you go to the cashier with your own bag. They act as though you're suppose to bag it yourself. Remember you're still the cashier. If I wanted to bag it myself. I would go to the self checkout line. Be helpful if you see my own bags. You still need to bag it. I shouldn't have to ask. read more

This place is huge! I have been to many Super Walmarts and this one has had the best selection for me. I was able to get something for my car, browse for snacks and get some household items. As a dog owner I definitely appreciated the wide selection of vitamins, supplements, dog bags, leashes, and so many good quality treat options! Did not honor the warranty on the tires I had purchased from them, with presentation of the receipt to serve as evidence. Also, broke all 4 Tire Pressure Monitoring system (TPMS) from the tires. I would not recommend this Walmart. I am only giving them 1 star because I am unable to give them 0. read more

I came to the service center for an oil change and to have a leaking tire inspected. The tire was originally purchased at another Walmart and is covered under the Road Hazard Warranty, so any necessary repair or replacement should be covered. While my oil change was completed, I was informed that there was nothing wrong with the tire. This was not accurate, as the tire continues to lose air. When I questioned the diagnosis, I was told I would need to wait again until all of the vehicles that arrived after me had been serviced. I requested to speak with a manager and was directed to the Auto Care Center manager, Terrance. Unfortunately, he was rude and condescending during our conversation. He stated that my service had already been completed and that I would have to wait like everyone else. However, my service was not actually completed, as I was never called to the register to review or pay for the work performed. I am disappointed with both the handling of my tire concern and the level of customer service I received. I expected a more thorough inspection of a tire covered under warranty and more professional treatment when attempting to resolve the issue. read more

I'm okay with Walmart in general but I tried calling Walmart in Hanover, MD 6 times over 2 days and finally gave in and called the customer service number. The "AI" attendant stated that she could not make them answer the phone and could not contact the store for me, so I have to make a trip back to the Walmart in person to resolve my issue. SMH, just take the phone out of the store if you don't plan to answer it, that way I can stop trying to contact you when I see you don't want to speak to me. read more

Horrible customer service in the auto center The sales associate Joseph told me I could come get a tire changed when I called at 6:09pm I arrived at 6:38pm , mind you the website says they close at 7, and I was never informed of anything different , do the whole staff telling me they were not going to change my tire because they close at 630!!. 1 gentleman said he would if manager ok it. After Joseph lying saying he never told me I could come, the manager finally came to talk to me, a young kid dressed like a hoodlum, that's how Walmart managers dress!?? Told me very disrespectfully we not changing your tire. He doesn't care what the website says. Mind you I needed ONE tire changed. I'm in a suv on a donut. I would never of drove there if I wasn't told by the liar Joseph I could come. Manager would not give me his name once I said I was calling corporate. VERY unprofessional, untrained staff in the tire dept. only 2 staff members were helpful and said they'd change it but manager was not allowing it. I tried calling Walmart at Arundel Mills in Hanover, Md. and on Quarterfield Rd in Severn, Md from 6am until noon on Sunday 22 February 2026. My snow shovel broke during the past snowstorm/ice that we had a few weeks before and I wanted to save a trip driving over if they didn't have any. All I got was a message stating "we are currently experiencing a high call volume..." and said to call back later. Really??? At 6 am. So at 7am I drove over to Arundel Mills to see If they were so busy. I stood near customer service desk and called. There was only one customer there. No one picked up the phone. It s no wonder Walmart has dropped its standing. Customers don't seem to matter to them. Also, they didn't have any snow shovels in stock. Walmart is NOT my go to store! This was such and odd and small Walmart to visit. I'm liking the smaller setup of stores that I am coming across in this state. The weirdest thing about this particular location is that you have to make it through the parking lot before you can actually make it to the store. You will have to make your way through several people in the parking lot that are hustling their own goods. Just backs of cars open for all those items. Once inside it is a model of a store. What I mean by that is that you walk in and each department is there, just on a smaller scale. With that you don't get the best selection. You have to hope that the item you have come to know and trust will be included in this stores inventory. With it being a smaller store, it did make shopping here much easier. You can make it through the store fast and then the registers were actually moving quickly. read more

Great Walmart. Not super but do have a decent food section ... not too crowded. Self check out goes fairly well. There used to be a McDonald's that's gone but the space is available for lease altho I see them doing curbside and delivery orders in there :-) ... I had an extremely disappointing experience at Walmart. A cashier gave us an incorrect receipt but told us it would be fine. When we went to the service desk to return the same item, the associate there was incredibly rude and refused to help us. Thankfully, we got a manager to get us the proper help we needed, he was professional and respectful, and got us the correct receipt. But when we returned to the service desk, the same woman continued to give us attitude. She escalated the situation by getting a police officer to get us kicked out, even though he was dealing with another situation and for no reason at all!! The officer could clearly tell we hadn't done anything wrong, he was respectful and even visibly bothered by her behavior. He ultimately asked her to say out loud that she wanted us to leave, just so he could officially have a reason to ask us to go. We were forced to leave, not because we did anything wrong, but simply because she said so. Several employees and customers nearby looked uncomfortable with how she was acting. Her behavior was unprofessional, inappropriate, and honestly an embarrassment to Walmart as a company. This type of treatment is completely unacceptable, and I hope the higher ups takes this seriously. No customer should be treated like this. read more

The two young men in the toiletry aisle were very helpful. I left my glasses and couldn't see the labels and was looking for shower wash for hubby's getaway. The shower wash that was recommended by the man was a hit with hubby. The young people at this location were friendly and very helpful. Even at checkout. I felt at ease and could shop without a whole lot of noise and unnecessary inappropriate conversations. This location is awesome. read more

We wanted 1 yard of fabric cut in the craft section. After two overhead announcements and speaking with four associates (35 minutes), we were told that no one in the store was qualified to cut the fabric and to try another store. This is why Amazon will put Walmart out of business. read more

Dropped my vehicle off for a 2 pm appointment and was told it would take about an hour. 3 hours later, I didn't receive a phone call, but noticed on the Walmart app that there "was an issue" and I had to call the store. Tried calling for 45 minutes and it just kept ringing, nobody ever picked up. Finally went into the store to see what was going on and no work had ever been started on my vehicle, 4 hours after my appointment. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I typically like this location. The staff is usually helpful when needed but on this particular occasion, the checkout process was not efficient. I had a price check issue stemming from an entire display being improperly labeled. As a result, the item rang up much more than the listed price. The cashier could not leave the register to check the display, so she visited the company website. I explained that the display was clearly labeled with something different. I asked if she could have someone accompany me to the display. She reluctantly agreed. Since there were others behind me in the only open lane other than self-checkout, I asked if she could finish ringing up my other items. I waited to side for the staff member. When the staff member showed up a short time later, I asked to accompany him to the display. He appeared to have a number of tasks going on at the same time. He walked in the opposite direction of the display, so I walked to display to wait for him. When he got there, he observed the error and began correcting the entire display. He stated that someone stocked the display incorrectly. He never gave any indication that the matter would be resolved. He walked back to the front without saying anything, so I asked what he decided to do. He told me that he would give the item to the cashier. I saw him speaking to the cashier but I could not hear anything because I had to get back in line. When I reached the cashier, she asked for the incorrectly listed price. She entered the amount and completed the transaction. The remainder of the process ran smoothly. I give this visit three stars because of this visit. I shop here maybe once or twice a month and the experience is usually much more pleasant and efficient. read more

I've had two far from stellar encounters at this walmart. I placed an online order for some items. I was returning something at the same time and mentioned I to the person who answered the phone. Someone delivers my items and says they forgot the device for returns. They take my item and say they'll "do it when they get back to the stock room". Of course they never happens. I contact walmart customer service several times and nobody answers. Assume point I finally get through and they say they'll check security cameras from that time and get back to me with a decision. That never happens. I end up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company because wapmart was no help whatsoever. They weren't any help today either. I was looking at an item online and it was in sale for $40. Pick it up in store and it says 50. I buy it and take it to customer service for a price adjustment. "We can't do that. To get that price, you need to order it for store pickup". Confused and frustrated, I returned the item. So they're willing to lose a sale because I saved them the trouble of picking it out rather than waiting forever at my car for it to be delivered. How does that make any sense?! read more

This Wal-Mart is a hit or miss depending on the day you go. The employees here are usually friendly. You will see some nasty CSM's here. I have ran into and dealt with a few regarding incorrect prices and they act like your taking money out of their pockets when stuff rings up the wrong price at the register even though it's listed for cheaper on the shelf. The overall store is usually clean. But the major problem with this store is the stocking. As you can tell by the almost 100 pictures of this store they lack any kind of restocking policy. The manager just walks around for fun I guess in this store instead of delegating. Most of the time either stuff is out of stock or just rings up the wrong price. The only reason I come to this store is because it's local for me. But I swear they need more ASSERTIVE management here or something. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the fresh section that some of the bigger Walmarts have but I did find pretty much everything else I needed for groceries here. This is an older Walmart. I am not a fan of this location. Parking is tricky since drivers in the area don't pay attention. I might as well be on the beltway and not a parking lot. I park far away on the few occasions we may visit this particular store. The employees seem overwhelmed, busy or disinterested in helping. Hubby wanted to ask questions about a television on sale. The online and store prices were different. The manager at customer service was dismissive. I called the store and found a wonderful asst store manager who answered all my questions and said she'd meet us at the store. I would not go out of my way to shop here but there is a wonderful employee who is trying to change the perception of this location. Bonus points for having a subway inside the store. read more

It's a Walmart. I wish I had more to say about it . . . . but I don't. Oh . . . . wait, wait wait . . . . I just thought of something. This location has an Automotive Center. That's getting harder and harder to find in Walmarts anymore. Usually you end up at some quick oil change place where they try to sell you another $200 worth of services on top of their cheap oil change. (Not that your car probably doesn't need those things done, but hey, you were hoping to get out of there for less than $50.) So far this Walmart hasn't tried to guilt me into needing other services besides maybe an inexpensive air filter or wiper blades. Okay . . . . that's it. Well, I found a Walmart that closes Sunday night at midnight. This sort of sucked when I rolled up at 12:05 with no clothes because my luggage was spending the night in Minneapolis. But I returned a few days later in the afternoon and they're open. The store is in good condition and was reasonably stocked. They had the digital camera I wanted in stock and it was the same price (12 cents cheaper) than Best Buy. The associate who helped me was pleasant and polite. Note that this is not a SuperCenter. Would prefer the one price all included model like Costco does. Couldn't get an appointment on the time I needed there, so I tried Walmart, first time. Walmart no longer have cheaper prices or even competitive pricing when compared to other retailers. It's important to check other retailers before spending your money here. I bought a 6-pack of Energizer 2032 batteries from this Walmart for $13.86. I bought two packs because sometimes they are hard to find and we have a few cars. Then I went home and realize I neglected to check prices in other retailers. When I checked I found out that Target sell the same 6-pack of batters for $9.49. I should have done my homework and researched but I needed the battery for my key fob. I won't make that mistake again. Walmart is taking full advantage of the recession; all their prices are sky high and anything with a lower price isn't worth buying. I have tried to order for both pickup and delivery from this location several times. There were major issues each of the times; drivers who could not find my house and left groceries at other locations, notifications to pick up groceries and when I arrived they weren't ready and would not be ready until next day! Not to mention no one answers any of their phone lines when you are trying to contact them. If you go into the store there are lines with no rhyme or reason on any given day and you roll the dice on whether you will get a communicative and pleasant customer service/cashier/floor attendant. If you have some extra time skip this location and go straight to the Walmart in Laurel. It's worth the drive for a trouble free customer service heavy experience! read more

With a doubt, this is the worst organized and ill managed Walmart store I have ever shopped in. The online order and pickup department is completely dysfunctional, having forced up to a dozen customers wait upwards of 90 minutes (no exaggeration as I was one of them) to find misplaced orders that are strewn in 3-4 different corners of the entire store. The store management seems helpless as well, as they cannit seem to be able to handle the vast incompetence that pervades this particular store. When I last spoke to a manager before leaving the store in disgust, having given up on them finding my order, he politely admitted that they had very irresponsible associates and that the product accounting system in place at the store was terrible. At least he was honest with me. Never ordering anything again at this hopelessly inept Walmart. read more

The worst thing I can say about this store is that it is in a high traffic area right next to Arundel Mills and Maryland Live Casino. So it will be a rare occasion when the parking lot isn't full of cars, and the store full of people. If that doesn't deter you then I'm sure you'll find whatever it is that you are looking for. There is even a Mcdonalds inside, and a place that does eye brows. The store stays pretty well stocked, and there are always associates bringing out more stock from the back. Never had any issues with customer service, and overall its about as clean as you can realistically expect a wal mart with this much traffic to be. read more

Inevitably whenever I visit this Walmart there is never anyone back in the garden shop to help. Previously when I visited and asked for help the person who was sitting at a table ,doing something, said there was nobody to help and she could not assist us. Today was no different. Lifting heavy items is just not feasible when you're a senior citizen. I only wish that this Walmart would have someone to assist those of us who are unable to lift heavy things. I got a really good deal on tires here, because I wanted a place where they install them too. Got in early to beat the crowd, they told me to expect 1 hour and 30 minutes. So I went to their waiting room and read. They had at least 10 guys in the shop and only 3 cars, they just could not get anything done. One guy walked around and talked to the guys working so they would get distracted from the job. Plus he walked around with a cigarette in his mouth and whenever the door opened he would light it just outside the door. It took 3.5 hours to install the 4 tires! And a customer who only needed his oil change came in and started talking on his speaker phone to his buddy for the entire 3 hours he was there, and he was only there for an oil change, annoying everyone in the whole store he was so loud. read more

So iM writing this review from the side of the highway. Yep you read that right! I bought two tires at 940 am by 1015a both were flat. Manager calls and says "if the tires were faulty we will pay for the tow and replace them. But if you ran over something we won't pay for it" So i hung up. And will GLADLY let you know that yes... i did hang up on you! FIRST THE HELL ALL SIR!!!!!! WHEN WOULD I FIND TIME SIMULTANEOUSLY TO FLATTEN TWO TIRES AND NOT ALL FOUR OF THEM?!?! DO TELL (insert think emoji) i am livid to the point of tears (i know you've been that kinda angry before sis so you know what i mean...).
