When I went to the store and explained they said the person to check that, including the camera footage didn't come in until 3 hours from then. Took my receipt bro & my name & number. 3 hours later I went to the store and met the person in charge who said that after reviewing the tape since I was talking to the lady it looked like I had "gifted" this stranger????? I did not, and she made it clear that she did NOT believe me!!!! She very sourly agreed to refund me after I protested & was not leaving. Shame on you, Angela!!!!! I am elderly and still hav to work part time to survive. I am still angry enough to find a way to complain about YOU personally. Been going to same location for over 30 years, at least twice a week. Not anymore.

We needed to pick up a few things and Walmart was the closest store. We arrived at 10:30 on a sunny…read moreday. The entrance closest to the garden center did not have wipes to clean the shopping cart handle. As we walk in I notice two Walmart employees blocking an aisle to prevent access. That seemed odd. We walked over to where the eye drops are located. I was surprised to see the shelves were not fully stocked. Hubs picked out his drops and we were off to the food section. I notice Walmart is slowly removing name brand goods and stocking their store bran, Great Value, more often. I will remind myself to buy French mustard elsewhere. This Walmart used to sell it. The pasta I used to buy here also has to be purchased at a different store. The produce wasn't as fresh as I would like so I only bought a few things. The frozen vegetables were stocked and I did pick up a few packages I needed. Overall going to this store to shop for food would be a deal breaker. If I needed home goods or kitchen small appliances I would come back.

I don't expect a whole lot from Walmart so I'm usually not dissatisfied. Sometimes I'm even pleasantly surprised. Today I was surprised, no, more accurately, shocked. Appalled. Disgusted. After a lot of tea at lunch, my first stop was the restroom. I didn't have a minute to spare. I walked (really, jogged) into a horrifying scene. I have never seen anything so filthy. I cannot believe a person could or even would make such a mess. I won't go into details, just use your imagination and multiple by 6 I noticed a sign that said "if you're not happy with our restroom, we aren't happy either". I went directly to the service desk. As soon as I said bathroom, the employee interrupted me and said that maintenance wouldn't be in until 4. Four o'clock? It was only 2:30. My report most definitely wasn't the first. How does such a large store function with such curtailed maintenance? They should have at least closed the restroom - it was a biohazard? I don't hold Walmart very high on the ladder. This time the ladder broke. And as far as the mess, the person who left this obviously did it on purpose. Shame on you.

Today I had the misfortune of stopping at the WORSE Walmart in the entire enterprise. Where you…read moreask? The Walmart located at 2200 Sparkman Dr NW, in Huntsville, AL. I entered through the Car Center door and proceeded to look for what I was looking for with negative results. I attempted to exit via the same way and was informed by customers waiting in the automotive bull pen, that there is no one working at the counter and that I had to exit from the front of the store... as no one was available to push the button so I could get out. I asked who process new care repair orders, oil changes, etc... and was informed that they do it in the bay... Strange at best. As I was walking towards the garden exit in an attempt to rapidly exit stage left, I asked what turned out to be a surly female employee where I could find bug spray for tomato plants? Her response without even looking at me; "over there pointing down the aisle." Really, could you please provide a bit more fidelity? If you're so unhappy working at WalMart on a Sunday afternoon, on a three day weekend you should have paid more attention in school or learned a trade. All in all this place is a DUMP and hell will freeze over before I set foot in it again.

But then, some days, a stroll around the store can be just what you need to brighten your day. Walking around Target, feeling the texture of the pajama pants, comparing lipstick shades - things you just can't do from an iPad on the couch. Of course I ended up with things in my cart that I didn't go in for but I also didn't come home with what I wanted - the skim milk was set to expire the next day and the only available size of the laundry pods that I wanted would last me a year. Target is not much different than a number of stores today - finding help was nearly impossible. I used self checkout which I'm sure got me out a whole lot faster than waiting in the only open check out lane. I'm not about to give up online shopping anytime soon but spending an hour strolling around Target was a nice distraction.
