A couple weeks before thanksgiving I ordered from a wal mart site 2 dog back pack carriers , in the comments one lady said the small was too small for her chiwawa so I ordered medium well they came the day before thanksgiving that was good since I expected it the day after. Well they didn't fit and I snapped the site where it said you could return to the store well I didn't have a order number only a card that said call this number for returns I looked it up on my bank account and showed the cashier it didn't help her then I searched through my e mails I must have been there at least twenty minutes searching , so I told the lady I learned my lesson not to order online that this is a big hassle. She just said don't feel that way!She looked it up on line and said is this it I told her yes but guess what she told me to call the number on card well I got an answering device to leave a message. My time is valuable and I just wasted time while my husband shopped when I saw him he had a basket full of groceries I told him forget it we're going and I let the cashier know we don't want any of this, now I'm home researching for an email!!!Not happy read more

The circus is in town. Within the whole country, I've seen one well-organized Walmart location, and this wasn't it. I practically had to fight my way to the restroom, as they were behind the customer service desk and there were things all over the place there. It wasn't particularly clean. I'd like to say that the rest of the store was better but it wasn't. No one working there seemed to be friendly, and I thought that they'd like to get rid of all of the customers in the store. I went there for groceries and all the shopping carts were outside. One of their associates sees me trying to carry a case of water and doesn't ask if I need help or if he can get me a cart. When I went to self checkout, the associate at the register told me all the carts are outside now. That's not helpful when your hands are full. If he had good customer service skills, he would have went outside to get me a cart or one that was nearby. I told him he had horrible customer service and he just laughed. I am so disappointed with this Walmart. I showed up 30 minutes before closing and waited 20 minutes in line for some baby formula and they said they couldn't help me. They couldn't find anyone with keys in the store to open up the formula cabinet to help me??! The lady who was in line before me asked for alcohol and the cashier went to open the alcohol cabinet for her but they couldn't help me open up the formula cabinet? The least they could do is train their employees to not take their sweet time at the cash register. If I knew in a timely manner that they weren't going to help me with getting formula I would've just left but the fact that I had to wait till closing to find out that they couldn't help me....irritates me. Received notice that pickup order arrived at .com walmart modesto,ca. located on Plaza Parkway. Was home sheltering due to Coronavirus and didn't get out much at all.I decided that I would not go into the store but would contact the greeter at the outside entrance and see if they could bring it to me. Three people set it up and it was done in a very timely process. I felt that I had kept safe and I owe it all to them . When Walmart opened it was a pretty decent store but after today I will never shop at this store. Today I had to stand and wait for someone to come open a case for bar soap...1 four pack of Dove soap. How does that make me the customer feel? You are treating me like a thief and when you have to lock up soap then this store has a serious problem. I waited for 15 minutes and that is absolutely ridiculous. To the manager... stealing soap is a petty theft and to expect the customer to stand and wait for soap is what, affecting your bottom line so much that you do this? I needed to pick up some wrapping paper while in the Mo' , but it was after hours so I decided to take a trip down to Wally World. Twelve hours. I waited in that store for twelve hours the day before the release of a video game system back in 2001. I KNOW this store. Want to see some of the worst Modesto has to offer in terms of its community? Want to see where the dregs of society come to meet and socialize at great length while you try to do your shopping and get the hell out as soon as you can? Want to see what happens when a store is never allowed to close and what it does to its employees, its customers, and the very store itself? Then come here. The selection is the same here as it is in every single other Wal*Mart because they're all nearly exactly the same, so no point in discussing that. This is like any Wal*Mart you've ever been to, and if you've never been, consider yourself blessed that you don't know what I mean when I refer to "that Wal*Mart smell". Its the people, the environment that I'm reviewing with this, and when I go to a Wal*Mart I see what I'm sure all other countries visualize when they think of America. Disappointment, failure, depression, sadness, anger, its all I see when I look at other customers in that store. And that's what sets this one apart from others I've been to, because I've been to Wal*Marts that have customers and employees that seem genuinely happy, but I've never noticed that in THIS one. And maybe I'm being dramatic, but I actually feel dirty being in there. Anyone else know what I mean? Once upon a time in San Diego I actually liked WalMart. It was clean, had what I needed, and wasn't too crowded since there were four WalMart stores in the five mile radius from my house. Then I moved to Modesto and I realized WalMart is the gateway to hell. This particular WalMart is always full of the most disturbing and weird people I have ever seen in my entire life. Just last night, after the gym my hubby and I ran in there for some necessities (Target was closed). As we walked in a 300lb girl came running out with a tube top dress that was too short. When I say too short I mean you could see her underwear along with every single dimple that ran down her hamhock legs. Also, who brings their kid to the store in a diaper? Seriously. And I think the worst is the girl I saw at the register with the anatomically correct tattoo of a heart on her chest. And for some odd reason it must be within the WalMart dress code for her to have her shirt unbuttoned just enough for you to see it. So yes, I may not have much to say for the store itself. This Wal-Mart is NOT a Supercenter. It does have grocery but it is not a supercenter. The other Wal Mart in town also has food, more choices of food that this one, but it is not a supercenter either. Both stores are lacking parts that the other store has. Wal Mart off of Sisk near the freeway has the craft area and the garden center and the Wal Mart on Mc Henry had more choice of grocery. Horrible experience with grocery pick up today. I waited almost 1 hr for my order to be brought out. Cars pulled in after me and left before me with their groceries. Customer service reps that call via the website and upper management department are the only ones worth speaking to. The employees who work on the floor are the worst. They are not very helpful and don't seem to care for their jobs at all. They are rude to veterans who are handicapped and are politely asking for help. They throw your groceries in your car when you shop with the grocery app and don't have a reasonable explanation for not bringing you the groceries you've ordered even when you've asked that it be substituted. Seriously, this is Walmart. I do not make a habit of shopping at Walmart, but I found myself in need of some cheap, plastic bins and I thought this would be the place. It was. This location is by far the nicest one in Modesto. It was clean and organized. The makeup and skincare products are in a separate partitioned off area with its very own cashier. Kinda odd, but I am assuming that they take these measure to prevent theft? I really don't know, but when I purchased something, she rang up all of my basket and was nice. However, yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting TWO cashiers Michael and Josh and I was VERY impressed. They engaged in conversation and genuinely interacted with each and every customer before and after me. The selection is as good as you are going to get for low prices. We tried price matching a gaming headset and they looked at us like we were some sort of monsters and were very rude to us.
