They have actual good sales pretty regularly to where it will be all the clearance is $2 or all the clearance jewelry is $1. They have even had a whole backpack for $2 because it happened to be in stock and on clearance during the good sale. I check the website because sales are on the homepage, and then when it's the good sale, I look on the computer with my girls at what is in stock at the store that is the good sale, and then take them and they can do the good sale. It's great for getting hair stuff and makeup and accessories. Quality is all over the place for their jewelry. There are deals to be had, if you go in store and confirm quality. Like fake pearls can be plastic and junky or glass with knots between and reminiscent of a high quality vintage. Rhinestones can be held in with metal brads or glued.

So I looked up different ones in town, and this one had the best reviews. I called to check to see what type of metal they have for earrings and I was glad to find out they do have 14 karat gold. The price wasn't bad so I went with my sister to get my ears pierced before we went to dinner at the town center. The lady who pierced my ears was very nice. she knew I was a little nervous. And I was anxious that I would become allergic to them very quickly as I had years prior. However, she took the time to really make sure that she was piercing my ear symmetrically, and they are placed exactly where I wanted. She then also explained to me the cleaning of them and recommended the rapid cleaning solution. It has been about four months and so far I am doing well and they are symmetrical. I cannot thank her enough. They were very friendly and efficient. If I were looking for more piercings, I would return.

It's smaller than the Dollar Tree located at the corner of Blanding and Wilson, but I generally only go there for gift bags, balloons, and cards, so they have what I need. I took one star away just because the store is already starting to go downhill after just 6 months. I took another star away because the last time I was in there, the manager was a complete a$$! Not that customer service has ever been all that great since they first opened. I'll still stop by this store if I happen to be on 103rd Street, but since this store and the one at the corner of Blanding and Wilson are both equal distances from my house, I'll choose the Blanding store over this one any day.

Another customer sent her adolescent daughter to ask if the line was open. She (the child), made eye contact with us, not with the cashier. So, we responded that the line was indeed closed. Then Chester, the manager, came up on us so quickly and aggressively it took both of us a moment to register that he actually worked there rather than being some stranger with a violent mental illness. He stood in my personal space with his arms raised as though to strike me, angrily asked "who are you to tell my customers that this line is closed," and then moved his hands in such a way that I genuinely believed he was moments away from hitting me. We were so terrified by the abruptness and aggressiveness of this man that we immediately apologized nearly sprinted out to the parking lot in genuine fear while the cashier tried to intervene on our behalf. I shook for no less than 3 hours after this. It was a frankly traumatic experience, as no one expects to feel literally physically threatened by an employee at the store they are shopping at. I am so incredibly disappointed that I felt so threatened that I cannot visit that location anymore while he remains employed. This is just an unfortunate situation through and through.

I've been frustrated for a while with the wrapping paper rolls at Target. They look like normal…read morerolls at first glance, but many of them barely have enough paper for one or two presents while still being priced like a regular roll. Today's purchase was especially disappointing. The roll was already small, but the packaging made the first several inches completely unusable. The edges of the paper were glued together, and there was a large sticker attached directly to the wrapping paper. When I removed the sticker, it tore the paper and ruined even more of the roll. For something as basic as wrapping paper, this feels wasteful and overpriced. Customers should not have to lose a noticeable portion of an already small roll because of poor packaging. I took photos showing the glued edges and torn paper, because this was not just a minor inconvenience. I would not buy Target wrapping paper again unless the packaging and amount of usable paper improve.
