Electronics center sucks I went in to purchase an PS4 and since you need the employee to unlock the glass case and grab your item you have to ask them to grab it which is impossible because they are never around the desk waited for 40 mins and decided to leave they have an exclusive PS4 I want and nowhere else has it very disappointing to have to leave without the console. Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Waited on hold for over 25 minutes attempting to get a confirmation that they carried a certain oil type. Transferred to automotive on the phone and waited 15 minutes the first time and then hung up and called back and waited 4 more times for over five minutes. Even called back and asked for a manager and still was sent to the automotive line where no one answers what a joke!!!! Won't waste my time ever again. Customer service at this store is a a joke. This Wal-Mart, like so many others, just sells products. 98% of the employees are not very helpful, they get confused when you ask them questions beyond "where can I find milk?" and the selection is very limited. Being 6'3" and a big guy, I can almost never find any clothes in my size beyond sweats. Their electronics department is staffed with people who don't know much of anything, their stockers have bad habits of leaving pallets in the middle of the isles before going on break and all the managers ever do is apologize for the inconvenience. The pharmacy is a joke. They don't follow through, they don't pay attention to what they are doing and when you pick up your prescriptions they insist on telling you what your medication does (as if I don't know what ibuprofen does) Lousy stores, lousy company, and they are just Target stores reborn to suit the mass population, not the every day customer. Like I said, they don't carry big man sizes yet they always have racks and racks of clearanced items, sizes ranging from small to large, maybe a few xl's in there, but not much more than that. Hmmmmm, maybe they should stock less of those sizes and more bigger sizes? read more

The Placerville Walmart has gotten to be the worst store to shop in. You go in during the day and all the aisles are cluttered with carts or pallets of product yet to be put on the shelves. Nothing is stocked , beer coolers empty, water shelf empty. When you come out of there you have to go to another store to get the stuff that you cannot get at Walmart because the shelf is empty. Sad but we just have to figure our trips better and shop the Folsom Walmart. They are always stocked and not trying to stock during the day. read more

Walmart can never receive a 5 because, well, Walmart. This place never has their shelves fully stocked; it sometimes looks like whole aisles are wiped out. HOWEVER! I usually find what I'm looking for, the employees are really, really nice (and patient as you'd have to be to deal with the shenanigans that they deal with), and the best part, is that this place is super entertaining. If you read my previous review I had a hell of a time with the tires I purchased in 2016. Well, the tires were crappy and are shot already 27,000 miles in on tires with a 55,000 mile warranty. So against my better judgment I went in to Walmart to see what they could do for me. Scratch that, I called them multiple times, waiting on hold and getting the run around before I finally wrote an email to corporate and low and behold the manager called me. I met with him in the store and we were able to come to an agreement on some new (better) tires and I would get a discount because my current tire were under warranty. I told them multiple times I was hesitant to come back to Walmart because of my experience prior and they assured me most of the staff was new, as well as management and they would make this right. They had to order my tires and I was to come back Saturday to have them installed, they said 8am was a good time to come. So, Saturday morning I got up nice and early and headed to Walmart where there was no record of my tires being ordered. I can't say I was surprised. There wasn't a manager there even thought they told me there would be incase there were any issues. 45 minutes later they have it figured out, they found some tires in stock, gave me the discount and installed the tires. In the end it worked out, but it should not have happened the way that it did. read more

Seriously Scary Walmart I will admit I'm not a fan of Walmart. We moved to Placerville about a year ago and this happens to be one of my closest stores. We needed a new router so we popped into Walmart. $100 later only to find the wrong router in the box (found out once we were at home). Didn't think it would be a problem to return it. The next day we went to return, had our receipt and explained what happened. Not only did they call us liars and thieves, they refused the return. We asked to talk to a manager and we're told we would have to come back the next day. I was too frustrated so my husband went back the next day. It was someone else at the return counter so he got in line and returned with no problems. This time he did not alert the employee the router did not match the box. Sad end to story. When you tell the truth you get called names. So it's better to not tell the truth? Walmart makes me sick to my stomach. Oh yeah the parking lot is known as a great place to buy meth and heroin. Not only are you ignored when you pull up no matter what you are there for, it's full of teens who are lazy and/or burned out playing loud obnoxious music. Holy Mother of GAWD! I usually HAVE to come here since it so close to my house and easier to get to then K-Mart. Needless to say I am here just about every other day either for diapers, milk, a movie, of course a snack and Star Magi zine. Since I am a stay at home mom I always go during the week. This place is going downhill FAST! used to be good, usually the shelves are well stocked. Now there are big gaping holes that don't get filled. I was in a hurry and bought some rolls for camping...turns out they were expired by almost a week and had MOLD growing on them. took them in for refund after camping and they had the nerve to try to NOT refund my money. Rolling back prices and brains.... Somehow they put the wrong tires on my car (H rated vs. V rated as is required by my warranty, their computer system and the tires they took off). They remedied the situation (by finding 2 V tires and reinstalling two of my old tires to be replaced another day) and not giving me some BS spiel about how H rated would be fine (which I think they would, but whiy risk a car warranty over $100 tires). And the punchline...while watching them install my tires for the 2nd time, they realized that the Chevy Tahoe they were putting 2 tires on needed to get 4 tires (because of some conflict between the types of new and old tires...) and they didn't have the customer's phone number to call to tell him... If you go, TRIPLE CHECK that the tires they are putting on actually are compatible in ALL regards with your car. read more

I dropped in to get an oil change. Parked behind the one car that was in front of me. Went in and a woman wrote up the oil change and asked for my keys. Time was 10:20. Go back after 40 minutes and my car is in the same location while other cars have went around it and are now directly in front of the stalls. I go to the woman once again and ask why my car hasn't moved forward. She tries to come up with some lame excuse but it's obvious that nobody knows what the hell they're doing there! They then pull my car into the rear stall, open the hood and there it sits. Remained there for another 25 minutes before I finally go to a new guy behind the register and tell him to back it out and return my keys. He replies that he will go out and see what's going on. I watch him go to a tech (term used loosely), and the tech goes under the car and drops the oil plug out. I figured what the hell, finally getting it completed. When all is said and done, it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes for an oil change, with one car (initially) in front of me. This place is absolutely horrible! I should know better and I definitely know better for anytime in the future. Typical for Wal-Mart! Although I should, I really can't understand how people can be so incompetent!! Went here to cash check, waited in like while 1 employee tried to help everyone. waited in like for maybe 20min. Once Patt began to help me cash my check i was informed that someone would have to retrieve the cash and bring it to her. i waited 25 min before anyone came to assist. (Patt was wonderful, very kind) As far as whoever is in charge of bringing cash to the register... a customer waiting for nearly a half hour isn't what i would consider good customer service. Leaving one person to assist a huge line of customers shows poor management or staffing. read more

I have told the store manager and he refuses to answer my calls or do anything about this serious issue. When someone steals or uses your debit card they can buy anything they want and they have access to all your monies in your bank or credit union. In the few times I have shopped here this is what I noticed 1. Prices are good 2. Most people who shop here don't brush there teeth or for that matter even have teeth. 3. Shoppers here are usually really skinny due to meth use or extremely over weight and in the chip section It's not a good place to shop especially in a store in your town. If you run into a friend here you will both be embarrassed and generally not make eye contact. P.S. Walmart should have an in house dentist and a drug rehab program this would double there revenue. Writing this review for my dad. He went in to get my tire patched and told them we would pick it up later. I called about 3 hours later and they told me that there was too much air in the tire and that tge tire was too old. The tread is great and the tire is fine aside from having a nail in it. They will do anything to try to force people to buy their tires. read more

Staff very accessible, friendly and helpful. Went out of there way to help me find things. Manager explained that just because items were in there local adult did not mean they actually carried them. This is a serious corporate issue and without a clear disclaimer in the Ad, us called bait and switch. He said they are trying to get corporate to get this fixed. Cannot say enough good things about clerks, staff and management. Always someone around to help. A lesson there stores might want to think about. read more
