This review is for the automotive department ONLY. I come here for oil changes once in a while and always get in and out quick, the techs are polite, don't make a mess in my car (dirty boots/greasy hands), and give me a call when my car is ready to go. I've never spent more than an hour for my oil change, it's on $19.88! Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's hard to track someone down in that department to pay for your service at the register. read more

This has to be one of the worst stocked stores I've ever been too. We live 2 mins from this one so naturally this is our go to store. Every time I go the fruit isle is empty like there's a shortage on fruits and veggies. And what is there is nasty, old, or damaged. Went to get ground beef and all of the $2 1lbs ground beefs were gone. All the $3 1lbs ground beefs were gone. Leaving only the $4.50 1lbs ground beefs. When I asked if they had more in the back. The worker looked at me like I was crazy and said yes but we aren't stocking that right now........ And at check out they wouldn't give me and discount on the meat seeing as how it was the ONLY one I could buy. So it was pay $4.50 for 1lbs of ground beef or take myself to winco 5 mins away. We went to winco. I don't recommend this store unless you wanna end up at another store to finish your shopping. read more

I had my tired patched at the auto center. I called all over on a Sunday and needed my tire looked at before i hit the road the next morning to get back to LA. It wasn't holding the air inside the rear tire on the driver side. Firestone recomended that I check with Walmart and I rushed over there. They had a wait, but I was able to pick up my vehicle within 2 hours. i was told that there was a nail in my tire. I'm grateful that it was an easy fix. Thanks! read more

My wife, kids and I had a bunch of groceries and school supplies for my daughters school, and the dark haired girl yapping her mouth to her blonde partner obviously upset about my bunch of products. Then came the 4 reams of copy paper my daughter needs for school and the dark haired girl goes" wow can you say landfill!" And after that she printed the receipt and slap it on the counter--"your receipt". I just calmly took my stuff and left. Do not, I REPEAT DO NOT go to TLE at this location. The mechanics have absolutely no correct knowledge about vehicles, try to belittle women who know about cars and their mechanics think they don't, and then want to question a 20+year mechanic over their pidly 2-5 year experience. Then their manager Dan (no idea the last name) first can't be found when an associate called him multiple times, then had no response to give about what his associates are doing. Had two appointments for two different vehicles at 8am, we arrived at 7:45 am. Took them almost 45 minutes to check in both vehicles, come to find out one vehicle was missing a lug nut. No problem right? Did what they told me to do (after asked numerous times by the woman checking me in for one of the guys to pull a nut off for me to take to OReilys, they still couldn't take the damn thing off and told me to just go over and give them the year make and model of the car). So I did that. Bring it back, and the genius mechanic tries to tell me it's too small and that it doesn't fit. Okay, asked for them to pull it off so I can run it back over for a comparison. Then proceeded to tell me no I can just drive the car over and have them size it. Okay so then I tell him okay, then get started on my second vehicle since that's the next one in line with the appointment already checked in (mind you it's a dually that just needed two tires on the front replaced. So go back to OReilys, they size it and even put it on the car ( the same lug nut I already purchased and it was the correct size). Take it back to TLE, (still haven't started the truck yet but pulled some other vehicle into the bay). At this point it's about 9:30. Get there and said yup it was the correct lug nut and OReilys fitted it, clearly someone didn't know how to put on a lug nut. Go inside after I made sure they pulled my vehicle into the bay. Went in to get a few things in the store while I waited. Come back, it's close to 10:30 at this point, and still no work done on the truck and then proceeded to tell my dad (that 20+year mechanic I mentioned above) that they are refusing to touch the car until I go get the "correct lug nut" and that I just shoved the same one on there knowing that it didn't fit. So my dad goes to loo at it, fixes what the geniuses couldn't figure out (which is the placement of the washer needed to be adjusted with a small tool) then told them there's nothing wrong with it it's the correct size. Then questioned why the hell they still hadn't started the work on his truck tires while waiting for all of this crap. Manager Dan at this point has already been called and paged multiple times (took damn near 20 mins to get in contact with him). Once he gets there, he basically insults my dad like he thinks my dad doesn't know what he's talking about or what he's doing trying to say the lug nut now "wasn't centered" which meant it didn't fit. But yet we had a picture of it on there when OReilys installed it and it sat flush will all the rest of them so problem. Then when we proceeded to ask about why the truck still hadn't been worked on with an 8am appt time, he couldn't give my dad a straight answer and wanted to keep beating around the bush like other cars were in front of his. Yet, appt time was at 8, both vehicles were checked in at the same time before anyone else arrived there, and the guy ahead of us who had a 7am appointment didn't even have his truck started until 8. These mechanics here clearly don't know what they are doing, are uneducated, and have no customer service skills what so ever. They didn't start my dads truck because they clearly don't know how to work on duallys and were too stupid to admit it. I am filing a report with corporate office about this manor and also filing a complaint with BBB along with whoever else needed to make sure these people who call themselves mechanics don't screw over more people and get what they deserve coming to them. read more

I strongly suggest you visit a different Walmart store besides this one. They don't answer the call buttons ever. Many employees will pass you up stating they don't have the correct keys to open the cabinets that you need (it's stupid they lock up everything now, for no one to have keys). They don't offer to call for help. The service is just terrible. I over heard a group of employees all begging each other to go help out a customer because none of them wanted to do it. I know Walmart doesn't have the best reputation but this is hands down the worst location I have ever personally visited. I appreciate all of the staff and customers who are wearing masks correctly. The correct way to wear a mask is to have it cover the nose and the mouth not just the mouth. Several employees were not wearing their masks correctly. Also, when I was in the self checkout someone was standing behind me and when I finally turned around and looked it was the Coke vendor standing about 4 feet away from me. And waitingwaiting to fill the refrigerated drinks. He was not wearing a mask. And when I asked if there was a reason why he was not wearing a mask he pulled one out of his pocket and put it on. I intentionally came early on a Sunday morning so that I would miss the crowds. I am a little discouraged at this point with the cavalier attitude of some people. I know that it is not comfortable to wear a mask for hours at a time. If you squeeze the little metal clip over your nose it will help. read more

I don't know what has happened to this locations employees to make them such assholes but it must of been something pretty bad! Last few months every time I come every employee I have had contact with is so rude! They act like its just so horrible to do their damn job or to answer one question. I had a woman literally take in a deep breath and let out the most god awful sigh of disgust when I asked if she could help me get the last one of the item I wanted off the very top of the shelf. Considering she already was standing on a little ladder the next aisle over I figured why go search for someone else??? Today I saw a bunch of little girl employees standing around talking holding hands giggling like they at the fucking prom or something and standing right in the middle of the aisle! Next they all go walking, very slowly, arm in arm still giggling on the way to talk to another girl employee and this girl had one of those large online order carts with her so as you can imagine the whole aisle is blocked now! I guess its not really a big deal. I mean I don't HAVE to have help you know? Could just take the extra time and look more or harder for something or go to a different store altogether. What really makes me mad at this situation is I know people who could use a job, any job, and would do a damn good job at it and be grateful for the opportunity! This Walmart has had our back for 20 years as it is down the street from our house. Whenever we need anything, usually a quick stop to Walmart is all it takes. Unfortunately, the quality of this store has monumentally decreased in the last several years and it truly shows. Today we went to this Walmart to purchase some Legos for our little cousin's birthday party, and were dismayed to find that all the Legos were locked up. We pressed the button for service, but no one showed. After pressing the service button several times with no luck, I began to search the store for an employee to help. I found someone in the women's clothing section to make an announcement over the PA for customer service to come to the legos, but still no one showed. My mom did the same, they made another announcement but still no one. After scouring the store for employees and managers and waiting atleast 20 minutes, finally someone came to help us. What was supposed to be a 10 minute trip turned into a 30 minute one. This lack of service was truly ridiculous and disappointing. The fact that simple items are now locked up, all the makeup is in a separate room, and all the alcohol is in a separate room shows that Walmart really doesn't value its customers anymore -- only money matters. Huge selfish corporations like this make me sick. From now on I'll be taking my business elsewhere; the 20 min drive to Target is worth it if I don't have to beg to get a $10 box of legos. read more

Remodeling made aisles tighter and increased the length of check-out lines. Every day items are frequently out of stock. Poor quality food. I used to go here for household goods, because of the convenient location then buy my groceries at the Bel Air up the road. Last Saturday morning, I'd checked out, and on my way out, witnessed the employees in the self-check area, laughing and having a grand time. Why??? Cashiers help us with the merchandise, paying for it is enough to think about and now we have to scan every item, were not cashier's!!!!!!!!! This is not my go-to Walmart..the layout is terrible and I always feel like i leave forgetting something but I stop in when im in the area for Walmart prices. It feels like they have a lot going on in there but there is no real flow of things..the make-up is front and center in the store and im assuming thats due to the high rate of theft, the clothes section is so small compared to other Walmarts and the food section seems to be missing some staple items. read more

Okay, so I just moved to North Highlands and this is the closest Walmart to my new house. My cousin wanted to go to the other close (and well-visited by us) Walmart on Antelope and Roseville Road, but I demanded we try this one. :) Pulling into the parking lot was nice... lots of empty spaces up front and room to park. Weird for a Walmart. We walked in and it seemed a bit small, compared to other Walmarts, but still decent size inside. We went to the beauty/healthcare aisles first. My opinion? It's's set up in a weird way! The aisles start going horizontal... and you end up walking in circles. LOL We made it out of the maze and continued our shopping trip. Our list contained items from almost every section, so we made the rounds. The whole store seemed oddly organized. (At the end, I wasn't sure which way we came in. LOL) Maybe it's the shape of the building or something? Not sure, but it didn't flow right. Also, they were out or didn't carry ? some items you would expect to see at Walmart. General coffee brands and such. We visited a couple aisles twice making sure we hadn't missed any cross-referred items... no luck. We only encountered one staff member (at the checkout line) and he seemed very bored. I don't blame him necessarily, but it was like he was super stoned! LOL The checkout was quick, I must say. They only had 3 lanes open, but there weren't many customers and the line moved quickly. Very unexpected at Walmart, right!? Overall, it was okay. I will only return for quick convenient trips. In the future I'll, literally, go the extra mile and visit the store on Antelope. :) read more

I am totally upset with this Walmart. They are the absolute worst Walmart I've ever been to. I took both vehicles to this Walmart to get oil changes and it took an hour and a half just to get any type of service from them. Then I get home and find out the next day that both of my vehicles are dripping oil in my driveway. (My brand new driveway)! I immediately tried calling the Walmart oil center and got no response and phone just kept ringing. I've tried this over each day and have yet to hear anybody pick up their phones. I called the Walmart on pleasant grove in Roseville and they picked up their phone immediately and offered great service. They fixed what was wrong and to no charge. I have been going to the pleasant grove Walmart for years to get my oil changes and have never had any issues at all. I tried this Walmart in antelope and was totally let down. Their customer service is way below grade, their automotive center is ran by people who just don't care about their work. The workers were even having an argument in front of customers and were using cuss words and everything. This Walmart is pathetic and I will not spend another penny at this store period! read more
