I entered through the Hub and made my way up the rickety steps. The steps that were open sometimes. See, I came back a few more time sand the steps had rope across and were barricaded. Making you have to take the slow elevator with other people since there was no other way to get up or down the stairs. My first visit here I had made my selections and headed towards the self checkouts. I kid you not, when I got to them, they actively started to shut them down. Forcing everyone to use the traditional registers. I wish the customer service here would have been better as well. Over the years with my myriad surgeries and chronic health condition they have always been there ready to help whenever I needed it. When my jaw was wired shut, they compounded medications specifically for me so that I could continue taking all of my regular medications in a liquid form. They were even concerned about how the medication tasted! For those of you who have allergies or chronic bronchitis/sinusitis/etc, I believe they specialize in these conditions (although they can make medications for anyone regardless of condition). They also have many supplies, like humidifiers, neti pots, etc. Plus they have very high quality vitamins, and are always willing to help you make the choices that are right for you. I imagine they would be a lifesaver if you were on a ton of medications & needed someone experienced to consult with. With Pavillion, I knew they were good from the get go because some of the top doctors in the area recommend and work only with them. If I was rich, I would go here for all of my pharmacy needs... unfortunately, they don't take health insurance (although they will help you submit the prescriptions for reimbursement).. but for me, it doesn't matter. My health, safety, and well-being is worth more than a measly prescription... They are a model to which all pharmacies should aspire to! I had a terrible experience here. I needed a time-sensitive and incredibly important medication. On…read moreMonday both myself and my doctor asked if they could make it and clarified it was a very specialized dose. The pharmacy assured us they could. I emphasized that I needed to know for sure because if they couldn't, I had to start a different medication ASAP or it would be too late for that medicine to help me. I even asked them to check with the pharmacist to be ABSOLUTELY sure they could make it because most compounding pharmacies can't. They said they checked, they can, and they have all the ingredients needed. They even required me to pay in advance over the phone and I did. Tuesday I was told it would be ready Wednesday and was actively being formulated. Wednesday morning I got a call saying not only do they not actually have the ingredients they told me they had, but this wasn't a medication they can even process because they are unwilling to purchase the ingredient they don't have. I emphasized that I planned my entire treatment regimen around this specific medication and am now left with no options because it's too late to use the other medication. Not only that, it will be next week before I get a refund because it takes several business days. They claimed to have the ingredients and didn't, and claimed it was actively being formulated Tuesday. Either it wasn't, or it was and they chose to wait a full day to tell me they couldn't make it. Either way is inexcusable.
