This has to be the worse walmart I have ever experienced, no matter when you go there, I have some kind of issue, my sister works for walmart in another state and when she comes to visit she is shocked on how bad this one is. she even called to complain, and got one call back, they promised to call her back, and never did. Photo department only has one guy that is worth anything, you can stand there forever and they look right at you and don't ask to help you, then when they finally do, it is as if you are interrupting them. I also had a stack of baskeball stands hoops, fall off a shelf and land on my cart, and the girl that we finally found, was more concern about getting some MEN, her words to come pick them up, not at all concerned about my daughter and her friend, or me, and I also pointed out that they way they had them stacked was dangerous, and she agreed, but then by the time I left they had them stacked just that way again. The staff had the attitude of you are bothering me, not who can we help you, I spend alot of time, and money in walmart, and I have started going to one further down the road, because, this walmart is the worst one I have ever experienced, no one wants to give you managers name, no letters at front to contact store or regional manager information, and they always, make you feel like you are a burden, I have made several attempts to try and get help with these issues, as I think the store itself and manager should get a chance to know what is wrong, but in this case, no one in this store cares if you complain, and they really don't care who you complain to. sad, sad, sad to me, because I know my sister works hard at her store, and I have been to plenty of walmarts and this one is a rare but true store that needs alot of help on so many levels.. read more

The customer service here is pretty good. I often spend hours here and go to the fitting rooms multiple times, but the workers never give me any attitude. They also carry very great items, always for those on a budget (like any Walmart) but their location on the East West Connector makes them especially accessible to a whole bunch of people. read more

I really really hate WalMart, any WalMart so the highest review I would give a WalMart is 3 stars so, hey, this place actually gets a high rating all things considered. What I hate about WalMarts is that they are always dirty, always crowded, and always have long lines with 2 of the 20 cash registers opened. You'll find the same thing here but hey, it's a WalMart, what do you expect? This location in spite of it all keeps drawing me in with the ridiculously good prices and unparalleled selections. All Walmarts are basically the same, some have more products than others, some are open 24/7. What sets a Walmart different from another is the cashiers and staff...and sometimes the customers around you. I don't come to this Walmart often but will when I visit my MIL. The cashiers are super slow and the self check out line was waaay too long and the cashier was not attentive. I think next time I will wait until I get closer back home to go to a Walmart. read more

It's a clean store, the maintenance team works hard to keep it that way. Depending on the time of the day you will either get help or not.

wow, these things get bigger and bigger all the time! when i know what i want and i know what i need i know that walmart is the place that ill find it. they have convenent hours and the people who work there can tell some funny jokes! what i really liek is that the walmarts around here keep updating and improving. i dont think they stay in the same building for longer than 3 or 4 years, and thats good for us the consumer because it means theres more construction in the area and more huge empty buildings for other businneses to move in to. there prices on food and grocerys are very reasonible. i buy my groceries here ever since the ingles over on powder springs rd closed down. read more

Be prepared to wait in line F-O-R-E-V-E-R-R-R-R-R-R! There is no such thing as "swinging by" to pickup anything. Each time you set foot in this place, it's an event. A LONG, drawn out event with absolutely no satisfaction. At any given time on any given day, they have about 3.5 staff members working and they're doing so at a snail's pace. The store is messy and disorganized. The staff is messy and disorganized. Checking out is messy, disorganized, and complete and utter CHAOS. Even ordering online and picking up in store takes an asinine amount of time!!! Wal-Mart may advertise the lowest prices, but I'll pay a little more and go down the street to Target to avoid the aggravation. read more

You have good days and ok days when shopping here. If you are just coming in to get a few items and head out that's ok. The employees don't ask if everything is ok today or if they can help with anything. They just walk pass you like you're invisible. I will say they are dedicated to their job because its like that's top priority to them and not us the customers. I will also say that I had to get management on the jewel associate one time because she was lazy and didn't feel like doing an ear piercing for my son. She told me to come back at a certain time (which I thought was rude and odd because I wanted service now, I'm paying my money), and when I came at the designated time she was nowhere to be found. When she did return, she had an and was rude. That was my first and only incident at this Walmart. Other than that, its ok. read more

I love shopping at Walmart, but not at this one. I design and make jewelry to make extra money and Walmart sells a lot of the supplies I use. All Walmarts except this one. Who ever is over the craft dept should be fired. I spend anywhere from $l00. 00 to $200..00 a week on beads, wire, thread, etc. This area is never stocked. If it were they would make a lot more money just from me shopping. I go all the way to Powder Springs (awesome Walmart), Hiram or Douglasville instead of the Austell store which is 5 min. from my house. The Austell Walmart could take a big tip from the Powder Springs Walmart. Powder Springs is super clean, organized and always fully stocked. I love shopping there. The only thing good about this location is the Pharmacy. I swear the female workers are lazy and ratchet. They sit there talking about non work related things and get upset if you ask for assistance. The people in customer service provides nothing of the sort and the girl who answered the phones on December 24, 2016 around 11:30 am puts you on hold and then hangs up after you have Been on hold for over 5 minutes. I asked to speak to a manager and she started laughing said please hold and then hung up. I swear they pissed me off. This is a sad sad bunch of employees. read more

Worst experience. I rarely shop at Walmart and after the experience I had tonight I'm never shopping there again. The pickup feature supposedly makes picking up items efficient but it is quite the opposite. We were there for a good 30 min and while several associates walked by and were friendly, asking if we needed help, they had to page someone to the counter no less than 3 times and I wasn't sure why one of them couldn't help us. Then, the lady who did finally help us walked over from where she'd been bullshitting with another customer for entirely too long...all she was doing was helping her pick out shoes. It was a shit show and a huge waste of my time as well as all the customers in line behind me. Not to mention the place is just disgusting in general. read more

O.k so online I purchased a buy today item that was 12/2 said processing today is 12/6 still processing (it was 3 throw blankets) nothing big. I stopped in 12/4 to see if the website had a problem they said it doesn't stuff is here but it's being processed. I waited while the man in front of me insisted they find his items they did, lets just say the have folks back there haven't worked in the back in years and the regular ppl that day didn't come in or maybe walked off job who knows. Will never shop at this location again!!!. Austell, GA location requires you show photo ID whenever you make a purchase using a bank Credit Card, no matter the price of your purchase. My purchase was $36, my credit card was signed with my legal name, the cashier rudely said she needed to see my Id. I told the cashier Visa/MC does not require me to show a merchant my photo id if my card is signed with my full legal name, the cashier said they were told in training to ask all customers using a credit card because of fraud. I believe this policy is in effect at the location because of the racial makeup of the customers, I noticed another customer who was white, purchasing more than I, not being asked for photo Id. I spoke with Corporate who said this is not Walmart policy. I received a call a few days later from the Austell Walmart Manager. The Walmart Manager apologized for the cashiers behavior but said they ask for id on all credit card purchases for the customers protection (WHAT A CROCK). I do not need Walmart to protect me that what credit card company does. read more
