Also located in the same giant shopping center with Target and others store, this Walmart has more aisles than a regular one and even for a regular Super Walmart, that speaks a lot to how many stuffs they carry in here, everything is just ready for the holidays, the usual suspects would be all the cheap electronic ones, again do your research before you ended up buying junks that you don't need or can't use for a long time. Then check out toys and more toys because it's Xmas and you have to buy them for all the children as presents :) although all the good collectibles were locked inside glass cases :( read more

If you have read my other Walmart reviews you know that I Love Walmart and have been shopping at Walmart for many years--usually in Orange County. Sometimes due to logistics of where I am or other uncontrollable circumstances I have to come to this one. If you have only been to this Walmart and not any of the others, I can understand why you don't like Walmart. There is something about this Walmart I never liked. Part of it is that it is one of the busiest Walmart's always. It's always crazy busy here. There are always hoodlums hanging out in the parking lot. They have a hard time keeping stock on the shelves--things always seem to be out here that are always in stock at other Walmart's. It's old and depressing. I try to avoid going to this Walmart but sometimes its unavoidable like the last time when someone wanted to meet me here to shop for surge suppressors. I purchased a tv today and had it delivered. I was told an employee by the name of Franklin delivered my tv, however, the tv wasn't there. I caught on my Ring camera that the delivery driver took a photo of my tv, never knocked, and proceeded to take the tv with him. I called Customer Service they said they have photo proof of the delivery and are unwilling to refund my tv. They advised I call the store where the tv came from. I called the store and spoke to Stephanie, who claimed to be the manager of the Online Orders. She didn't ask me for an order number or any proof of the theft and instead referred me to Customer Care. I asked for a manager above her but she said she wasn't sure who the store manager was. My foot is broken which is why I couldn't pick up the tv in store. I have yet to receive any type of help. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! read more

Came here twice for flee collars. They have them behind protection case. So you need an employee to access to open. First time I stood there for 20 minutes. So I left. They had a limited selection when I came in earlier. I was trying to find something specific. I felt a lot of the stuff here was picked over, and that they don't hire enough people to maintain the aisles as they should. Pricing is cheap, which is probably why everyone comes here. A lot of selections without needing to buy in bulk and the price is competitive. Large area and clean. Parking is ok, people leave frequently. I was looking for yoghurt starter and still could not find it here. But I found the last shoe glue. I don't know why only one left. Quite a few items are not restocked and it seems like it has been days instead of today. They range from green onions and some veggies, shoe and metal glues, curry mix and others. Cashiers are open only 3. And I got the best one from Armania. I like Wal Mart. But it is too far from Santa Monica. I wish they open one here soon. Young employees are really nice and helping me find what I need with their gadget. That is something new for me. The super center in within a big mall area that's got everything in it. Barbara is the rudest clothing customer service attendant. I picked out 2 pieces of scrub pants and proceeded to the fitting room where Barbara had been eyeing me as she hung clothes up. I went to ask, "may I please try 2 on?" She immediately interrupted me and said, "NO! NO!! The fitting rooms have been closed for 4 years now!" I was literally surprised at her reaction but didn't react back. It's just disgusting to see her take out her frustration on the hatred of her workplace on her guests. Barbara doesn't appreciate her job, she shouldn't be given the opportunity to work when there are many others who would be thankful for the blessing of having such a job. That's me included. I've worked many retail jobs and have never spoken to guests with the word, "No!" This woman needs to be reevaluated mentally and given a drug test. Worst experience I've ever had. Tried to get groceries delivered for dinner. I could not have more detailed delivery instructions in my order info. If there was confusion, I also have my direct phone number in multiple places. I got an "attempted delivery and sent back to store because delivery person unable to find you" notification. I, obviously, called the store and the corporate number I was directed to, to see what happened and about rescheduling. I was hung up on three times, and put on indefinite hold twice. My mom also tried to call, somehow their convo ended up in my voicemail, the same girl from the store who kept telling me she couldn't do anything, was the one providing info and apologies to my mom. I visited Walmart and SURVIVED. Begrudgingly, I admit that when I thought of Walmart, I associated it with the people. Yeah, they exist, but so do others that want to save, in addition to those such as myself that have found foods here that I cannot find anywhere else. Specifically, these freaking awesome cookies in some sort of similar variation that you know some of you enjoyed as a kid. I almost don't want to give them away since I don't want them to sell out. They take me back to childhood, and in a good way. Otherwise, visits to the store could be worse. Of course I decide to experience Walmart at its finest during the pandemic but they had the line moving quickly and for the most part, things were efficient. I had the nicest ladies at the pick up/return counter on separate visits, I wish I read their name tags to give them credit. The lines to check out-I go to the self checkout one-are kind of confusing but once you figure it out, it goes pretty quickly as well. I can't blame Walmart for this but I feel as though one week you are allowed to bring your own bag, the next week you are not.* I had overheard someone saying that you could not on my last visit, so I crumpled mine up (I really love Baggu bags) to fit in my pocket. Plastic bags were free at checkout so this was fine. I even made a stop in Orange County at another Walmart and that went well too. Heck I even bought a $12.96 top online and you know that is the one top that people seem to compliment me on the most, go figure. And I sure as hell tell them where I got it, and see if they believe me. Yep, I can't hate this place. I know this place is currently chaotic during these very unique times in the world, but even before then this place can get a little rush hour foot traffic during weekends, afternoons and evenings... While there is plenty of parking... the flow of the Walmart at the Empire Center is non-stop... so many people in and out like clock work you might be waiting for a while to get in and out of the lot alone... but your experience in the store will be a pretty easy one to navigate... more or less.... all the grocery aspects of Wally World Burbank are on the left half of the store.... super spacious layout.... twice more than the rest of the store. The mid section is mostly clothing, home goods, etc and electronics, personal hygiene and seasonal to the right. They have restrooms in both the front and back half of Walmart... that are usually kept up immaculately. The check out time is usually under 15 minutes even in a lengthy line. Often fully stocked overall with a few minor exceptions and definitely some amazing bargains in all areas even produce and frozen foods compared to Target or grocery stores in the area. Definitely prefer this slight chaos to Panorama City location overall for sure. If not for the location clustered in with SO many other businesses near by... I think this would rank at a higher preference for myself... maybe for most. read more

Last night i went shopping at Burbank Walmart on Victory Blvd. i had been there on 4-14-24 and used my gift card with no problem but last night i was told i had to add it to an app and something else .. i am a 70 year old disabled women i have no idea what they were taking about i asked to speak with a manager Willy arrived and said he could not help me but he would take me to customer service. Three stars for the products the location has. It's a store. Good job existing, store. Other than that, it's kind of yet another hostile Walmart. People always think it's the customers, but from the p.o.v. of a customer, it tends to be the employees generating the negative experiences. ... Sometimes, it's the nonsensical policies and lack of true managerial power for policy making. What is the point of hoarding 20 motorized shopping carts in the customer service area if those are only meant for people who CAN walk? There's no blue zone next to the front door for loading groceries into a vehicle. Are people seriously supposed to bring their wheelchair in, transfer to the motorized cart, have someone walk their wheelchair back out to the car, shop, pay, ........................ and then what? transfer the items into a regular cart, go get the wheelchair from the car, and leave the store in the manual wheelchair and push a regular cart to the car? ... seems nonsensical to me ... and dangerous. The front area by the door is a red zone, so you really are supposed to use two carts and walk across the parking lot six to eight times, apparently. Assemble and dissemble the wheelchair twice. Okay, we'll try it that way next time. It sounds like twenty extra minutes just to get in and out of the store. Maybe, by that logic, you can just get rid of those twenty motorized carts clogging the customer service area, since apparently, they are not meant for anyone already in a wheelchair. Maybe(*), they're stockpiled at the front(*), because the people who need to use them(*) can't walk into the store(*) to sit down on one. (!!!) Okay. (* !) Also, I think the employees should mind their own business when I'm riding on the back of the chair to save aisle space as well as stay close to the rider's ear. We aren't over the weight capacity, and we do it at our own risk. I complied and got off, so we don't get kicked out. ... but honestly, we do it for several reasons, most of which are safety related-- safety reasons more realistic than the precaution of not riding the back. Of course, after i got off the cart, a shopper pinned me and hit my ankle trying to get by us. Cool. Proved our point quite well. read more

The store is huge and we were able to find everything we needed without hurting the wallet. The store is neat and organized for the most part. You know it's hard when you travel to keep up on prescriptions. Especially in a place like Egypt where they don't even have the type of medication your doctor prescribed! I started with the Walmart pharmacy team about 6 months ago and had been satisfied with the ease and professionalism of what they did for me as a new customer. Once you're in the system, you're texted and simple to pop in and out. Plus you've got Walmart to buy anything you need. Well, I've been in Egypt for longer than my prescriptions lasted and was getting nervous, but after a call to the pharmacy and talking to Derrick, who listened and calmly answered every question and just helped. It was all I needed someone to do. They were filled and will be waiting when I return said Derrick. We are here to help. That's pretty calming to hear even from 8,000 miles away. If you prefer a more "Ghetto" Walmart experience go to the Panorama City location instead (I secretly like it there, lol). Burbank for the win! From everyday essentials to seasonal items like that nasty " holiday fruitcake" that never expires this is my one stop shop where I can save time and money also get everything all in one place! This store is dishonest and unreliable. I placed an online order for delivery, but the driver refused to deliver it. He claimed he tried but couldn't, then returned the items to the store. Instead of arranging for another driver to deliver the order, it was simply canceled. I contacted Walmart+, and they told me the store had canceled the order and advised me to reach out to them directly. I spoke to a representative named Esdras, who said the order was canceled, but they had nothing to do with it. When I called Walmart+ again, they confirmed that the store was responsible for the cancellation. Not everyone is able to leave their home and rely on deliveries. When you pay for a service, you expect honesty and reliability, but this store repeatedly fails to deliver on both. This is not the first time Walmart has done this. read more

Yesterday I needed assistance finding 2 specific spray paint cans out of the 3hund or so locked in the cases on that specific aisle. The attendant looked it up and took like several min to spot them out to me eventho he was not the one who had the keys! These two turned out to be exactly the correct ones.., which I am not that savvy with auto paint/colors/labels/brands. 5 stars+ on that order definitely deserves to go forward to this location staff for an excellent job! read more

This place has the worst delivery service. Their shoppers are all locals from Glendale if you know what I mean. They don't know what they're shopping or looking for. They don't respond to replacement options. They'll just grab everything they can quickly find and start checkout. Then you're locked in with an incomplete order or items you didn't want. I signed up for Walmart+ during the yearly membership sale. What a waste of money. EVERY SINGLE ORDER HAS BEEN WRONG. It just ends up with me having to go to the grocery store anyway. We went to Walmart to get bed lifts and a few supplies. Our shopping experiences have usually been pleasant. Until today. After we got in line and were getting totaled up. Then comes the drama, upon getting the hangars out; the cashier (Thanos) refused to do anything more. The box did not have a barcode or pricing of any kind. Thanos refused to call the manager for a price check or get any assistance..so as a customer, I had to go and get someone to assist us. Two gentlemen came to help, they saw no price or barcode and had to research it in housewares. We found them and walked to the front to deal with Thanos. Nightmare not over. Our bill came to $304.00. I gave Thanos cash, NOW he calls the manager to check my MONEY no pen to check, and the belt is out of order. So now we are waiting on someone to verify my money is real. The manager finally shows; visually checks my money and finally, we are on our way after over 12 minutes. I felt dehumanized humiliated and unnecessarily held up. This is no way to treat a customer who has been a shopper at your store for years.. perhaps Thanos was not trained or indifferent or both. But you don't send the customer to do price checks or troubleshooting, then add insult to injury by implying the customer may be paying with counterfeit money after you stood and did nothing. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN in Burbank. It started with WALMART'S CUSTOMER SERVICE 1-800-924-9206. I'm sharing this experience, so you can protect your friends and family from Walmart actually giving out your private information to other customers. On Aug 9, I received the text (in the pic). I immediately reported it, and was promised my violation would be forwarded to the Elevated Customer Service dept. I didn't hear from the Elevated Customer Service dept until over a week later, when I cancelled my Walmart+ membership. Then, within 24hrs, the employee was "removed from the program". This means that the Walmart looked the other way, and allowed their dangerous employee to continue working for another week, and probably violating many more customers. I started getting calls from people who I didn't know, and felt I had to change my phone number, to feel safe. Two weeks after that, I became frightfully aware that I had a stalker. The acts of violence (which are still going on), have ranged from slicing flower stems and leaving the cuttings next to the plant (scary creepy), to leaving a spent bullet casing in my garden, to pulling my front yard fence away from my house, to going into my backyard and stealing (Nov. 21). Yes, I've filed multiple police reports, and installed security cameras, but nothing is 100% failsafe, and with him constantly watching me and wi-fi being unreliable, he still is able to strike. In many states, like California, it's against the law to release personal information (it's called an Invasion Of Privacy), and you should check your what the laws are in your state , in case this happens to you or a loved one. It's all pretty frightening! Don't let what happened to me, happen to the people who are important in your life. Don't enroll in Walmart+, don't order from Walmart online. You have alternatives, check out Amazon, Vons/Safeway /Albertsons, or any other store that isn't Walmart! Protect the people you care about, and share my story. Also, I recommend you call Walmart's Customer Service, and double check if your info has been shared. It's especially important during the holiday sales. 1-800-924-9206. The abuse of seniors with handicaps is atrocious. Scanned my ebt items and paid with my ebt card. Before I could even start to scan my debit card items as I pay separately, an employee started going through my bag and accusing me of stealing. I HADN'T EVEN LEFT THE SELF CHECKOUT REGISTER. I scanned my debit card items, paid, and called him an asshole then as I started to leave I got mad inside and complained to a manager who could have cared less and walked away from me. I immediately walked over and returned everything, which they had to scan individually to my two cards. I have had many issues with the poor treatment of seniors with handicaps and always blew it off as untrained employees but I now feel it's purposeful because they CAN. This store is a disaster. Getting delivered from this store is terrible. You pay the extra $5 or $10 bucks for what? Your driver ends up CANCELLING the order on their end because of whatever reason. Who gets fucked up, the customer who orders because WALMART wont reorder and deliver it to you even though it was their own employees drivers fault when they canceled it on their end! I didn't ask for a cancelation. I get fucked over because 1. I don't have a car 2. I paid extra for that serivce and 3. I went to the photo area to pick up my photos. I pressed the button at the check-out at the photo/electronics area, and waited for a long time for an associate, when the first associate came, he assisted someone else by the TVs. So I pushed the button, and waited. This associate by the name of Robert, who appeared to have his hand on a sling, ignores me, and chooses to help the person on the left of me even though I was first in line. After he was helping that person, he ignores me and asks if the person behind me if they needed help. Next, after he was done he tried to leave and I told him I'm waiting on help, and he said he would help me after he helped the person behind me, That didn't happen, instead he helps everyone else. Finally, someone came to help me. I don't know what his problem was, but I was very upset, because, I was feeling like why did he ignore me? Was it because I was Asian? It's like how could you look someone in the eye and just ignore them standing there waiting for help, and walk past them to help the person behind, I seldom go to Walmart, and because of this experience I don't think I'm ever coming back. read more
