This review is strictly for their curbside pickup department. I ordered a few items for curbside pickup and they gave me a box of tampons (pictured) that looked like someone stepped on it. Without hesitation, I gave it back to the representatives that deliver the pickup orders to the cars and asked for a different box that wasnt beat up looking as thats unsanitary for sanitary products. Either way, they came back with another box (Also pictured) that was also beat up looking stating that was the last one on the shelf and it was a different product/different price so I asked for proof of a refund for the different price and they could not provide one. So I went inside to customer service and found a shelf full of the product (pictured as well), so not only did that lie they purposely give the worse looking products to those who are picking up, this is horrible. read more

I honestly don't mind going to Burbank once or so a month for a Walmart haul. I've been numerous times and on different days, and this location is always busy. My daughter loves that Ulta Beauty, Sephora, and Tilley's are within walking distance of this Walmart. If you have time to spare and aren't in a hurry, I would recommend this Walmart Supercenter, They seem to have way more items in stock than your typical Walmart. read more

I usually make two runs one to Costco and one here. I usually order online and then pick up just to avoid the line and trying to walk around the store since it can get pretty crowded (especially on weekends). The grocery online ordering is great. I have never had an issue with stuff missing. I place the order in the morning and it is ready for pick up by earliest 4 p.m. So it can be picked up on the way home. They have a huge yellow pick up sign painted on the side so you don't miss it. I also like that they carry healthy food options such as sugar free ketchup and bbq sauce. They also have the "great value" low carb tortillas for 1.50 less than the mission ones and they taste the same (trust me). I buy my salmon here which cost about 11 dollars for a bag of 2 or 3 pounds depends if it is on special. I also recently purchased a bed, mattress and posture cloud bed frame for a great price. I don't really come inside the store unless its right before closing time to avoid the crowd! Also parking can be a mess sometimes and watch out for people that leave carts everywhere smh. read more

I'll start by saying that I don't like shopping at Walmart, I don't like this chain's policy regarding their employees pay. I don't think you get good deals here, better stick with your regular grocery store and their rewards program. Their merchandise is mediocre, very low quality. Is quantity over quality. And not that cheap! You can find it cheaper elsewhere! I wasn't thrilled to have a Walmart in Burbank. Their parking lot is too busy. The entrance is crazy. Yes, this store is cleaner that others of its chain, but maybe because it's new? That being said, every 5 years or so I do end up getting stuck going to a Walmart that has a product that I need that other stores don't carry. This time around, I needed an affordable digital camera with a good zoom and certain features for work and unfortunately the other electronic stores didn't carry (I'd have rather given them my business). Amazon carries it but it's more expensive. So, we bought it here. Customer service was terrible, the guy couldn't care less about our business. That's what happen if you pay people close to nothing when you make huge profits! Their return policy is the worst, just 15 days for electronics? We decided to keep the camera, even if it wasn't the best ever, but felt like we could use it. It did have a scratch on the screen so we decided to exchange it. Oh, boy! The initial dude we got it from at Electronics couldn't do the exchange! Why not? So he took us to the Return and Exchange lane where 2 people were working and 30 customers were waiting in line. So disrespectful, we waited out turn for at least 30 minutes! And the people working here (Lupe was the worst) were rude, had an attitude like everyone was there to put one over them (maybe they shouldn't sell defective products), kept asking questions like you were interrogated for a while. Never thought it would happen. I ordered for pick up online because it is out of delivery area from my house. I followed instructions "check-in" before you leave. And "I've parked" when I arrived at pick up spot. I put spot number and car color. I have waited for 30 mins and it showed my pick was completed. I never received any items and never get help from any support. I have to call the support to ask them to check what happened with my order but the support has no clue but only refund. And he said it will take 24 hours! Which is crazy. I cant wait I have to do the shopping right away I cant wait 24 hours and come back to buy stuffs. I have planned everything. I told them and then they change from 24 hours to 1 hour which is much better but still ridiculous. read more

Bathrooms are newish and renovated. Yet, still graffiti on the stalls, AND on the actual toilet seat, toilet paper was stolen. Hand soap dispenser was stolen and missing so I had to use my own hand sanitizer. Air hand dryer was so powerful I thought my hand would fall off. It was loud and the motor honestly sounded like a jet engine. Even though this walmart looks nice with the renovation, it still fails to address day to day management and care which obviously shows... even with a fresh coat of paint. Yikes. read more

I will definitely never make the mistake of coming here again. Stopped here after work to get eardrops and I had to wait 10 minutes for an attendant to unlock the case because apparently they even have to lock up things like eardrops here, and then I had to go on a field trip with other shoppers, who had been waiting by the locked cases for things like deodorant, and not only do they have to unlock the case for you, but they have to grab the item for you and then escort you all the way to the checkout and run it through the checkout for you and then let you start checking out the rest of your items so it took me half an hour to do what should've been a 10 minute trip tops. Next time I will go somewhere that doesn't have to lock up the entire store as if it's a jewelry store or something. read more

This is a very large Wal-Mart with a good selection of groceries- which is what we were shopping for. Parking is extremely limited. There were ZERO shopping carts ready to use when we arrived, so my husband had to find our own. I didn't see any sanitizing in action- like I have seen at other stores. I was able to find my gummies vitamin here since I was shopping in the plaza. I was early for my appointment at another store in the plaza so I decided to stop by this Walmart to get my vitamins. I checked on their website to make sure they had what I wanted. When I arrived here, there was a lot of parking spots so I found parking easily. I wore my mask inside and I think they check before you enter the store. I didn't know where I2 was so I had to ask an employee. They were helpful and pointed me to the right area. I then used the self checkout to pay. There was actually no line to coordinate where to line up for the self checkout so it can get confusing. read more

I asked him for help and he was more than happy to help me. Having great customer service makes visiting any establishment enjoyable. Walmart Burbank had online ordering with pick your own pickup slots, which for me was forced to be Wednesday, because all the slots before were taken... Except for At Risk times from 7am to 8am. But initially, I placed that order Saturday evening and today is Wednesday morning. So maybe it wasn't a great idea. I parked car the designated Walmart pickup at 8:44am. I called. An associate came over. They ran out of Tide Pods 96ct and gave me a substitution, which was 1/2 the size for the same price. They couldn't do anything at the moment (like give me two containers), due to the nature of ordering, however, they could accept a return (for the one 48ct). I'm stocked with tp and dryer sheets. This online order was worth it. Yeah... But will I ever find bulk Tide Pods again? Pffft. Customer Service was quick and friendly. Pickup took me 25-minutes. And receipt emailed to me at the 30-minute mark minus cost of returned item. Other stores in Burbank Empire Center do not open until 10am. If you do an early pickup and have other mall business to attend to plan accordingly (or loiter like me). read more

Associate christian in customer service was very helpful. I forgot my receipt and no longer needed the item hence me returning it. He then asked me if I payed cash or card and I told him card. Then he told me we can try looking it up from my card. After inserting my card he scanned my item and he found my transaction. This store smells like something died in the produce section. I can smell it before I even walk inside!! The workers are rude have attitudes especially the ones restocking always in your way with their big carts and see you trying to grab something won't even move or ask if they can help you. I found the Employee of the Month! Had to return a huge microwave. Because of a rib injury, I needed assistance with lifting the bulky and heavy microwave on the counter where the cashier demanded it to be placed. Woman behind the counter refused to help. I asked her to ask another staff member to assist. Nope, she just demanded that I struggle on my own. So, I just stood there. Until she decided to be a human decent being. She finally got her lazy ass behind the counter. Guess who struggled to move the microwave even with my assistance. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a gift card in the store for a family in need and it was drained 2 days later while I was on a plane traveling out of State. Customer Service is unwilling to help and after researching gift card scams, this is apparently a common issue with Walmart, since there is a loophole allowing for purchases with the gift card barcode where the hidden PIN is not required. THEY SHOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM AND DO BETTER BY THE CONSUMER. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Never again. read more

Went here to get some rice. Literally just rice. Sadly we come here often as it's the most affordable option and have never had any issue like this before today. Got our bag of rice and checked out, only to notice the bag had a hole in it. So we go back to the aisle to get a different one... THEY ALL have holes in them. We find an employee (who is busy literally taping over the holes in the first bag that we gave her) and tell her the situation. She tells us, sounding rather bored with the whole thing, to go up front and get a refund there. Naturally assuming she meant the registers up front, we stood in line there for a good while only to be told we needed to go to Customer Services. (Could have saved some time if first employee had cared a little more to help us...) Then we stood in line at customer services for about fifteen minutes. Of course once we got up there it took a total of ten seconds to sort the whole thing out. All in all, spent an aggravating 20+ minutes at what was supposed to be a 2 minute stop. read more

You can tell the Walmart customer service experience is absolute trash. Just by a look at all their reviews and their lack of response towards them - both good and bad. Most businesses that care about their customers will take the time to respond. This now validates the very experience I had. Chocolate milk comes flying out of the shelves after I open the fridge. An employee tells me it's from the packers that put the milk on the shelf. It was not secured properly on the shelf. They were very cold towards me after the gallon of chocolate milk spilled all over my brand new shoes and jeans. They took about 5 minutes to get someone to clean the area. Which makes the chocolate more likely to stain my new shoes and pants. Thanks, Walmart. I did not get any apologies or offers for compensation. Why is the fitting room still not open at this location but other locations are open? This Walmart sucks!!!!

Walmart is a horrible company, period. This store is dirty, the workers are rude, the place is sketchy overall. Long lines even for self checkout. Maybe only one line with a real clerk. Ordering online is risky because if you have any problems, broken goods, lost items, whatever, they do not care. Customer service does not exist at Walmart. If you have a problem they just give you the runaround and pass you to different idiots who say, "Oh, I can see you are upset. Sorry about that." They know they have goofed up and they don't care! You can call their idiot customer service and you'll get a foreign person who is thousands of miles way and you can't understand a word they say, and they do NOT care about your problem. Trying to work something out with these people is a lesson in extreme frustration. I have had to totally give up on Walmart. It's amazing that this is one of the biggest corporations in the world, and yet they don't seem to want to make people happy or correct any mistakes they have made. I do not go to Walmart much and tend to go to Target, but I went to this Walmart Sunday night for some last minute items and did a full walk-through to get familiar with the store. All I could think is how bad I feel for all the employees and astounded at the shadiness of customers we observed. I happened to be browsing by TVs and some customers took an open box tag with a marked discount off an open boxed item and put it on another TV, which they brought to checkout. Ended up checking out behind these same people and the clerk was carefully examining the tag and the TV. It was pretty easy to tell that it was never opened and it took extra time for us in line because I'm sure the clerk had to make a judgement call and she looked bothered. While we stood in line, the same people stole candy bars right in front of us and in clear site of anyone who may have been looking. Not just them! We observed two other different groups pocketing small items right in front of us! We couldn't believe what we were observing. read more

I was in the store today buying my 5th or 6 th computer from Walmart for my business. The computer I always buy is $499 in store and $449 direct on Walmart's website. This practice is illegal as well as unethical. I have always showed the price online and was able to receive the computer for the online price. Today was different, I spoke with Antonio the "manager" as well as Micheal who said he was the highest manager at the store. When I showed them the price they said they can't price match there own website even though the item was sold by Walmart on Walmart's actual site. The two men were rude and unprofessional. As I walked out the store with my pregnant wife Antonio started yelling at me from across the cashier area and made jesters that he wanted to fight me.
