Every time I come to this store i just have to expect I will be in line at least 40 minutes in line weather there is one person in line or 10. Slowest and most untrained checkers I have ever seen. Wish there was some other store close to where I live. That's the best thing I can say about this store, if you have a lot of time and don't mind playing on your phone while waiting, this store is for you. Walmart Tire and Lube service - 100% inefficient!!!! 3.5 hours for tire rotation, battery check, and windshield wiper replacement. TOO LONG!!!! I asked them to check the battery(which tested good) and they replaced it WITHOUT even checking or letting me me know. No way I was paying for the battery so they removed the new one and put the old one back in. No one let me know that was completed, I had to ask!!!!! My wife placed a curbside order and asked me to pick it up. She told them when I was there and that I was parked in spot 3, 3:26pm. Car parked in spot 4 at 3;31pm got there stuff and were gone, 3:35pm. I waited. Car parked in spot 2, 3:40pm. Got their stuff and gone, 3:45pm. I asked the clerk about my order and asked if I checked in, I showed her my connfirmation and waited. 3 more people arrived and left. I called the number on the sign and in true Wal-Mart fashion, nobody answered and the mailbox was full. 4:04pm I got my order. Zero stars if I could. Was looking for a specific toy for my nephew in the toy department and saw two ladies unpacking and putting new stuff on the shelves. They didn't have name tags on. I brought over a toy that has same code number as the toy I was looking for and asked if they could look it up on their palm scanner that they had and to see if there were anymore in the back. One of ladies rudely replied to me and said "no we don't have anymore" and that was with out even looking at what I had in my hand and with out even scanning the item at all. This is my review for the Tire and Lube Express center. If you want a bunch of inept morons that don't care about their jobs working on your car, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I'd stay far away. My experience is as follows. Preordered a set of tires from Walmart. Was told it has arrived so I got there early in the morning at 6:30 AM. I was first one there and expected to be in and out quick. When the shop opened at 7, the mechanics asked for my name and order number of the tires. Mistake 1. Took them a full hour to find my tires because "someone" has taken the tags off the tires so they didn't know who they belonged to. When they finally got to start installing my tires, I was informed that it'll take no more than an hour. I went inside and waited at the customer waiting center. One hour rolls by. An hour half rolls by. Finally when two hours rolled by, I walked out of the waiting center to find the mechanic. It was then that I was informed the tires had already been changed for my car. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE DECIDE THAT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO TELL ME SOONER? I was sitting down in the customer waiting area the entire time! At this point I was about to lose it. I got in line at the register to pay for the services and got stuck behind another customer trying to pay with a check. Unfortunately the bloke at the counter didn't know how to process a check and ended up fidgeting for 15 minutes before a manager came in to process the check. I walk up to the register, handed the guy my ticket and he had the galls to tell me that there aren't any paperwork in front of him for my car. He told me that the car isn't ready yet. I informed him otherwise but the dude at the register keeps insisting he has no paperwork. Have you thought about going to get the paperwork yourself then? That's a novel idea. However that wasn't even necessary because he ended up finding the paperwork right behind him. There's more. When I was driving home and got onto the freeway, the tire pressure alert came up on the car. The kicker was when I got home I found that the morons have haphazardly placed the hubcaps back on my car, covering the valve stems, instead of aligning the hubcap on its designated location to have the valve show though. He had great energy and would check on the customers waiting in line. Worst Walmart ever. Horrible customer service. Mgmt does not supervise employees (like employees stocking shelves in the middle of the busy shopping times and they block the aisles so customers have to go all the way around) and they change procedures often, like having to buy anything cosmetics-related separately before you leave the cosmetics "prison" section. You need cotton balls? Okay, but only if you're willing to pay for it separately after standing in a super long line with one cashier because you can't be trusted to put those cotton balls in your cart with your other items to check out at the regular registers in the front with the other items you're buying. It's ridiculous! And it's almost all self checkout now too. The deli counter had run out of their orange chicken, but not because they didn't have chicken. Nope, they had and even cooked the chicken, but didn't order enough orange chicken sauce. Ya know, it's a food store. There's Panda Express Orange Chicken Sauce on the store shelves. So completely inefficient. And now they scan your store receipt before you can get past their former greeters now turned loss prevention police. Why? Because they are making sure your receipt is a "real" receipt. I'm going to shop Target across the street more. They sure treat their customers better than this. read more

I Ordered online and came in at 8:45 pm and the lady rudely said sorry pick up closes at 8pm and I need to come back. I'm thinking if the store is open and you have employees, it would be easy just to grab my order and get me on my way. What a horrible experience. Giving 1 star is too gracious!!! After utilizing the self check out since they only had 2 registers open on a holiday weekend, I found that they do not have any bags available after I paid for them at the self check out. I asked my 8 year old to ask one of the checkers to get bags for us since we paid for them. The checker says they are out of bags. HOW THE HECK DO YOU RUN OUT OF BAGS!!!!! Then we asked for our money back for the bags. The cashier was so sarcastic, rude and disrespectful! ARE YOU SERIOUS! After leaving the store, we attempted to call the manager, and proceeded to wait 17 minutes! And we had the displeasure to speak to the "customer service manager" Vanessa. Now I understand where the cashier got the poor attitude, rudeness and disrespect. After explaining my experience, I did not get an apology, I did not get a "I'll follow up", "that's not the expectations we have here", nothing. I just got excuses. One of the worst services I've had for an oil change. I asked for a simple oil change and if they could fix a brake light for me and took it in at 9:30. I got no text or call to say it was done so I went up to ask only to wait another 15 mins in line and have them tell me they charged the wrong person. The lady told me if I can wait while she prints another and see that instead of printing it out she has a a full on conversation with another associate. By the time she was ready to charge me they had told me they couldn't fix the brake light because they did not have it. By the time they finished processing everything it was 11:20! Conveniently located inside Chino Spectrum Town Center which includes Sam's, Marshall, Best Buy... They recently renovated with larger aisle, bright and airy, reorganized each section with clearly marked signs. They have a special area in front store for Order Online & pickup in-store, whereas, you can basically order anything on Walmart website and have them ship to the store that closest to you for free. They'll notify you when the item is ready for pickup. If you purchase more than $35, you'll get free shipping to your home. How cool is that? They have added more self-checkout counters which I found very convenient. No more long lines, chaos as most Walmart Super-Centers are, especially in the weekend or holidays. I like its garden center too. It's smaller than before the renovation, however, lots of fresh flowers and fruits trees. As always, most things in Walmart are slightly cheaper than other big box stores. Would definitely shop here again. read more

Ew. I don't know what it is about this Walmart, but I really dislike going there. It could be the lights... because really, its too damn bright in there. Add it with the super shiny white floors, and I'm about to go down, scream "Hold my tongue!" and have a siezure right then and there. It could be the fact that this super Walmart is HUGE. Its borderline obscene how big it is. It really is! And add the bright lights and white floor... it's overwhelming. Maybe it's because they don't sell anything with an "explict lyric" sticker on it. Not that I don't purchase them frequently, but I like to have my options open. Or possibly, it could be that whenever I need to get stockings (usually 4 packages), I am stuck behind a lady buying everything but the kitchen sink and she's paying with food stamps and having an arguement over the fact that she's trying to purchase an electric nosehair trimmer and that isn't covered by the stamps and WHY ISN'T IT COVERED BY THE STAMPS CAUSE I HAVE $160 AND WAIT... Walmart Chino Hills is well known as a store to avoid due to very long customer lines at the check out counters. However this morning I found the counters empty so I went to the garden section and succlent ( water conserving) plants were on sale for 99 cents and you only have to water them once a week. Well I got succlent flowers in many colors and the checkout was a breeze. The store was not crowded. As usual this store is always clean and well lighted. Enjoyed this visit and the evening will be spent planting these new plants. We need to remember that California, Neveda , Arizona are deserts and so succlent plants thrive here. read more
