This is for the photocenter only. Not sure if all Walmarts are like this, but there is no dedicated photo line. The photo line is split between the electronics line, so you end up waiting in a very long line for either people asking about the new samsung galaxy watch or waiting to pick up their photos. Next logistically it is a mess, the photos are not stored at the photo counter, the associate has to get up go out and disappear for minutes at a time to find your prints. Lastly the online photo system does not allow to you select the proper cropping if your photo is not sized right. Yep you end up with a generic center cut no matter what you do. FYI if they mess up your order you need to guest services to ask for a refund and not wait in line. read more

I was shopping in my local Walmart this afternoon, one of the reasons I prefer shopping at Walmart is because I can find everything from clothes, cosmetics, home goods and groceries- literally one stop shopping! The only reason I gave this store 2 stars is because when Target doesn't have an item or items that I'm looking for (like tonight), then I'll head to this Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart needs to be more consistent across its stores, though. No bags at this location? Since when? I greatly enjoyed carrying my 9 items in both arms while having my receipt checked and walking across the parking lot to my car. The order pickup sucks as well. I gave them 3 strikes before I stopped using it altogether because they are always lying about in-stock items being out of stock. I would literally walk into the store after seeing that it's in-stock online and then *boom* I would find plenty of quantities sitting there on the shelf. Don't get me started on the locked items. I had to wait for an unreasonable amount of time after pushing the button TWICE for some self-adherent wraps that cost $2-$3, and wait again for some flea and tick treatment. Wal-Mart is a money hungry joke, hence why I've made the switch to do my shopping at Target. Their prices are usually the same or close anyway, just a better experience at Target. read more

If you are getting machine soda don't use card. I don't know if the machine vendor is fult or Walmart family wants to grab more money. Today I wanted to get fast cold drink from there machine and it was Pepsi brand medicine since I didn't had dollar or coins I used my card to pay. And on the medicine said 1 can $1. But faster I swipe my card it took $2. So I thought it must be mistake from machine. Since today was very hot I thought I would get 2 soda. But after I choose 1 and thinking of grabbing next one but machine took $2 for one . No refund or next choice of drink. So don't use your card to get it from this location because you will loose $1 more. I wish there was some kind of information about if you use card it's going to cost $2 for one soda. I mean, it's Walmart. So I never expect much. But what I don't expect is to be spoken to the way Asha (who was clearly having a bad day) spoke to me. I've been using the self check out and bagging my own stuff since the self check out opened. But apparently today my "bagging technique" was not acceptable despite the fact that it's the same way I've been bagging my own stuff for over a year but ok. Then to insinuate that I am using said technique to steal was so insulting. I told her to check my receipt and count my items (I had 7 things for heaven sakes) but she just wanted to belittle someone and I guess I drew the lucky number. Aaaanddd that's a wrap. I'm done with this place. I know it won't do much because people on a budget will always shop here, but I won't spend another dollar here. What in God's name is wrong with the employees here? Some of the most miserable dispositions I've ever seen. Friday 12/17 was the worst retail experience I've ever had, and I'm in my 40s. Just wanted to pick up my Christmas cards that I ordered a week earlier, and had allegedly been ready since Tuesday. I'm the 3rd of 5 people in line at the electronics counter, which is also the photo section. One employee, Margarita I think. She's ringing up a couple that has an entire cart full of groceries, no electronics, while everyone in line is waiting to have items that they keep under lock and key. It took about 15 minutes to check them out (they had some vouchers or something, they SHOULD have been sent to the main checkout when you're the only person in that section. She's also as cheery as a brushfire, barking at anyone who dare try to ask her a question. Now there's 7 or 8 people in line, and she takes the next person. Another employee walks up and someone in line asks if she can help get photos to expedite the process (she was picking up photos too). Instead of helping, or calling someone else over to help overwhelmed and struggling and completely angry Margarita, she angrily says "she's the only here, you have to wait" and walks away. I'm in line now 45 minutes and the guy behind me is fit to be tied. Finally another employee comes over and asks me if I need help. Mind you Margarita has been gone looking for my cards for 15 minute now, so I tell her NICELY that she should try to help people behind me because they're getting upset. She looks at me and shrugs her shoulders and says "oh well..." I thought I was in the twilight zone. Where are they hiring these people from? I'm not even doing the story justice. This could have easily ended in a bad tik tok video if someone with just a little less patient in the line. I even turned to the line and asked if I was on a hidden camera reality show, it was THAT bad. One hour in line, rude employees, customers getting barked at, and they never found my Christmas cards. Most ridiculous experience ever. If I was rich I'd buy that Walmart and fire every last one of them. read more

Couple of days ago around 1 in afternoon. Nice experience. Employee there named Scott, was very friendly & courteous. I seemed lost so he guided me to right direction. He said his headed that way and showed me where I can get CLR. Cleaning products. Luckily it was the last one on self. The place is huge, has everything you can ask for. This review is for returns. I purchased an item that needed to be returned and walked into Walmart with a long return line, approximately 15 people deep and a single checker. I normally would leave but was disgusted with this and asked to speak to the manager. I relayed my frustration and Michelle, the manager states, "I know, I know..." and walks away and proceeds to laugh at the situation (or me) and went to help the check out. I had the worst experience with WALMART guaranteed freshness. I bought rock cod fish that was already bad and smell of ammonia the day I bought it. I returned it back to that superstore in Chino and this associate in customer service was appalled that I was returning it and smelled and instructed me to go online. The fish are kept in unlivable conditions. The live fish are in tanks with rotting carcasses being suctioned against the filthy water filter or swimming along sinking decaying fish. At 11am today, I placed a $90 order of groceries for pick up and scheduled it for 7-8pm. At 7pm I get a notification stating my pick up time would be delayed NOT that it wouldn't be available for me to pick up at all. The store closes at 8:30 so once 8pm came I started calling the Walmart Pickup service line to figure out what was going on. I called 5 times, each time it rang for 3 minutes straight before the call got disconnected. Finally someone answered the phone, a very defeated sounding woman. I asked her what was going on with my order and all she could say was that their towers are down, I have to try again tomorrow and that she was sorry. I don't understand why I had to be the one to harass them to find out what was happening with my order. A simple phone call or email to notify me would've saved me time and $90 because now I have to try to get the groceries I ordered from another store tonight. Completely disappointing. read more

Good luck getting ahold of the sporting goods, or specifically GORDON who was on "lunch break" for the whole 1.5 hours we were in this store. Finally one guy tried to get us our fishing license but couldn't figure out how we should pay for it. Went to the front to pay just for them to say only sporting goods can do that. And no one seems to have keys for like 50% of the store goods that are locked in cabinets...I just wanted a 14$ item and it took forever to get someone to open it just for them to tell me I have to pick it up at cashier #8. Are you kidding me? It's $14 item! Stood in line at the front for 30 minute just to check out. Spoke to the manager about paying for the fishing license just to get attitude. Wasted so much time at this store I should've just went to dicks sporting goods. The call buttons don't work, even one of the customer service reps told me that when I finally flagged someone down after pressing the call button for 30 minutes. Communication is severely lacking in the pick up/delivery side. I placed a grocery order for Sun 8/7 to be picked up between 7-8 pm. Got an email that my order would be delayed, fine no problem. Finally get the email that my order is ready at 1045pm but of course the store is closed. I went to pick up in the morning around 915. Checked in a parking spot, 15 minutes later I see an employee who I ask about my order, he said "it was packed and left outside last night so we are trying to find it" um what about my cold items? "OH, those weren't left outside, ill check on your order" 40 minutes later still no order. I go to the door of the pick up and the same employee tells me their refrigerator was down so they don't have my cold items. Ok then why didn't those get picked when I checked in today? Well we had other orders yes and my order was from yesterday! Got the manager Johnny who told me that it wasn't their policy to re-pick orders. Um what??? Contacted customer service Got most of my order refunded then switched to a delivery for this evening 8/8. Delivery guy comes around 915pm, missing most of my order! Tells me I have to either accept it with missing or send it back and I have to call the store to figure this out! I understand being short staffed I understand technology going down but the lack.of communication and any kind of customer service is ridiculous Now I still have to go grocery shopping tomorrow but never again at Walmart read more

My daughter bought a $49.95 video game today (6/2/20) in the Chino Store, and when she got to the car and opened the package, there was no game inside. My wife told her to take it to customer service. Customer service told her that they couldn't refund the money, but would give her a replacement...but...they have no more in stock. Come back in two days, they said. I called the store an hour later, and told them that we are leaving on a trip tomorrow for a week, and won't be able to pick up the new one, and I would like a refund. They told me to come to the store, which I did. When I got to the store, Customer Service was dark, and the asst. manager there told me that the system was down. I tried to explain my situation, but he never made eye contact, but was constantly texting on his cell phone. I told them that I would go to a neighboring city if necessary. I asked for a refund, and was refused...I asked to speak with a real manager, and they wouldn't call her (Michelle). If this was a $5 item, I might let it go, but with tax this was $54, and the box was empty, but apparently the Customer Service manager can't be bothered to even make eye contact with those needing assistance. Wow! I had the most unbelievably terrible service today with a cashier named Darlene. She was so rude and kept calling me annoying and told me to stop helping her because I was just annoying. She looked to be disabled (she was sitting and had a yellow vest) and kept asking me to hand her each item and scan it and put it in my cart because she couldn't lift it. So I pushed items toward her and she screamed, like full on screamed at me that I was so annoying and to stop. Then she dropped my whole bag of tomatoes everywhere and yelled at me saying "well you better go get them!". The customer before me got yelled at for not wanting to donate to whatever their current fundraiser was. I had over $300 worth of items and she said she couldn't bag or scan a lot of them so she kept telling me to scan it and put it in my cart and when I asked for a bag for a few items she said I didn't need it. The whole time I was with her, which was a good 20 minutes because she was moving excessively slow, she was complaining about how much she hates customers especially ones that are annoying and how she tries to put up with it but it really makes her angry and she can't handle it. read more

I ordered PICK UP IN STORE since I HATE HEAVY PACKAGING. If I hadn't care, I would've shipped to house instead of having a trip to the store. Usually, the items are handed to customers through the cool looking tower in store without extra packaging, but today the employees brought the items out, packed in the big walmart shipping boxes. It was good thill then, the employees were super nice who brought the items out. Then I opened up the box (just the big cover box not individual) in the parking lot and brought it back to the store and asked if I can leave the boxes. I felt like asking a favor so I asked real polite. But the lady in front of the front door GAVE ME THIS LOOK and said "NO, YOU CAN'T!" " Isn't this what you WANTED?" Seriously, WTH. Did I want the boxes?? NO. And why does she have to give me that dirty look? Did I do something really wrong here? Okay, I was with my two kids today, waiting in the car, so I just ran back to car with boxes and came back home. If I could give a negative 10 stars I would. This has been the worst experience I have ever had ordering tires online and utilizing their mount and balance tire service. I have been getting my car serviced with oil changes and tires since 1996 and this will be my last time letting them work on any of my cars moving forward. Price is attractive compared to other shops doing the same basic service, however it is not worth the extremely poor service and lack of basic knowledge at this location (Loy). I would gladly pay double for same services without the stress, wasted time, and lip service you get from employees and the service manager (Tony) at this location. Extremely unprofessional and clueless with their own internal systems checking vehicles in (iPad). I arrived 5-7 minutes prior to my 9am appointment. Tech Loy acknowledged me after 10+ minutes just waiting. Then the next tech couldn't figure out the iPad until Loy came to tell me they CAN NOT install my tires after 25 minutes of being here, which I have got done multiple times at Walmart tire/oil locations. After arguing my case, 40+ minutes later, they agreed to install. However. after speaking to the extremely rude, snappy, and disrespectful service manager (TONY), moving forward, they lost a long time customer due to this experience. This will be my last time I will utilize Walmarts oil changes/tire services! Stay far away from this place unless saving a buck is worth Tony's team over promising, under delivering, and being disrespected when asking a question about your vehicle and service they offer to customers! read more
