Got an order delivered to my moms, charged me 300 for only 100 worth of items, 1/2 of my order was missing 2 hours trying to call walmart only to get told we'll call you back, the delivery driver left my mom's door open both of her cats got out, she Almost fell down the stairs to get outside to get her cats my mom has heart trouble and was having trouble breathing Never again and I do a Walmart order every 2 weeks for delivery I will not ever again flipping HORRIBLE!!!!! read more

My review for the walmart was unsolicited, unprompted and impertinent--akin in cricketing terms a bouncer from a bowler of military medium pace, it was dispatched to the boundary with a flick of the wrists. What I'm trying to imply here is no matter what I say people will still shop at Walmart and I need to shut up about strategy and helping market for the #1 fortune 500 company, not sure for how many years in a row now.....the location in half-moon, NY is convenient....I loved shopping late nights but covid made me change my shopping routine. Not my favorite store to shop but I feel it's convenient as I visit the indian store a block or 2 away. They do have a pharmacy that I don't use, auto center which I do as they are the cheapest for replacing tires, headlights, battery or wiper blades. There is a grocery pick up and an online order pick up kiosk. As the real Amazonian jungle in Brazil is shrinking in size the Amazon from USA is expanding at a rapid pace....let's see what walmart has up it's sleeve to remain number 1. read more

I joined the Walmart+ program and have been so disappointed in their services. First they do not tell you that they use DoorDash. Our development is fairly new but using GPS it is relatively easy to find. When they deliver your order the bags are not marked with your name or an order number or address. Without some type of ID on the bags the driver cannot ensure that the order is being delivered to the correct address. There have been many times that we have gotten someone else's order. They do not pay attention to any specific instructions you may have put on ur order (I want to sign for my order). They just drop off the bags and drive away. I would not recommend Walmart delivery service. If I could rate this service less than 1 I would. Keep your money! read more

Why is it for the past 9 months your hot case is never open in the deli? The first 6 months it was because you needed to fix the hot case. But now every time I go in they tell me they don't have enough staff to have the hot case open. I don't care if you don't have enough staff you are there to serve hot food and it should be served whether you have enough staff or not. I am tired of coming in and the case has nothing in it at least four or five days a week. It's unacceptable and you need to get it together and keep the hot case working. Whoever the manager is needs to get it together as well I have never seen the shelves so empty as I have in the store no matter what time of day you go in there. They're never stocking shelves. When I asked about it they were said oh we only do that at night. As a consumer, It's unacceptable for customers not to be able to get what they need or want because you only stock at night after the store closes. I hope you guys get this fixed. I am definitely not a fan of Walmart. For years I totally avoided them. Only on rare occasions will I go into one of their stores. However, I'm willing to give credit where credit is due. Walmart.com is a completely different creature by my way of thinking. They have provided a prompt and reliable service and an equally prompt order correction/adjustment service. Orders I've placed online frequently arrive sooner than estimated. Two-day delivery is not at all uncommon. Most recently, I was notified by email that an order we placed for four different kinds of beverages was being split. It seems that some of the beverages that we ordered were available at a local Walmart. Those beverages would be delivered on that very day (a Sunday) and the balance of the order would be delivered on Tuesday... and it was. In a totally different prior experience, I received an email from Walmart that an order we had been expecting to receive in another couple of days had already been delivered. I looked on the porch and nothing was there. I then looked up the FEDEX tracking number that I had been provided and saw that FEDEX had delivered the package several hours earlier. However, the documentation showed who signed for the delivery. In fact, it was not anyone in my family nor was it even a neighbor, and I was even home at the indicated time of delivery. The name of the person signing for the package matched the name of a dentist whose office was over five miles away from our house. I called the dentist's office the next morning and they assured me that they had not received my package. Walmart provides clear instructions online on how to proceed if you are notified of a delivery and the delivery is not received. You must wait 2 days from the notified date of delivery and then call Walmart after 8 pm local time. I did that and a Walmart representative asked me to hold while she contacted the independent seller who had shipped the product. When she came back from hold, I was informed that a credit would be issued on my credit card... and it was. Overall, this is pretty darn good service. Bought an ac unit in April last year it now does not work properly the digital box has moisture in there so remote no longer works and cannot change any settings on the actual unit unless i unplug it for a while and now it has a mind of its own and changes the setting on its own and when i contacted walmart the sent my message to the seller that sold it through their store only to be told after days of emails back and forth that its past warranty but they will give me a 20% refund on a new item. I hate Walmart. I hate that the traffic is a zoo on a Saturday, and I hate that the employees never seem to know what is going on. But those are personal observations and biases. Here are some facts: My friend and I came here to go shopping for our weekend camping trip. We had a big list of about 50 items, and figured we would arrive around 7PM when the store would be less crowded. It wasn't. We started at the deli section, and it literally took my friend 25 minutes to get his 6 items. Three were meats, three were cheeses. Nothing was exotic or difficult. But, they only had one employee in the deli and there was a line (of three people!) that literally brought it to a standstill. While he stood in line, I managed to get about 30 of the other items we needed. They carry most things you need, in small quantities and sizes (which make it a better deal more often than some place like BJs) but the shelves were occasionally empty. The soup section looked like they had just announced a Zombie apocalypse was coming as massive areas were just cleaned out. I needed bone-in chicken breasts for a recipe and figured I would find them here. Nope. They weren't sold out of them, they just don't carry them. (To show how stupid I am, I stopped at the Latham Walmart on the way home and they too didn't carry them. Thankfully, my local Price Chopper did). Checkout was a chore, with only two lanes open (unless you count self-check out) and the person we got was slow and a talker. I think this is what you find at all Walmarts though. If all you care about is prices then this is a great option. If you want service then go to a regular supermarket. Pro Tip: when you get into the parking lot park in the little area on the LEFT. It never fills up, it is so easy to get out of the parking lot (you get a right hand turn, then right-of-way over all the other idiots who parked in the RIGHT of the lot) and you rarely have to worry about running over people. read more

I love the store, but being accosted by the Spectrum Cable Salesperson asking me why I use DirectTV definitely is a problem. I decided to go to DIRECTV, that's my decision, and why is he questioning it. This makes for a bad experience when shopping at Walmart and I believe that they should not have people asking the customers why they don't use spectrum TV. I'm not sure if they are at other Walmart's also, you will be bothered by them if you go shopping there in Clifton Park. Walmart needs to change their policy on things like this. Girl Scouts selling cookies is a whole different story, the money goes to the Girl Scouts and their troop and that's a good thing. read more

Usually I would give this store a high rating but at this time there are people waiting outside the store in this freezing cold weather to exchange propane tank. They have been waiting over 30-45 minutes after being told to go outside and wait. Some people rely on these tanks for heat. Tonight wind chill factor is going to be 5-25 degrees below zero. When you call the store no one answers And reporting it inside the store they are told. I have already paged them. This is not acceptable. read more

The service is horrible. Both my husband and I tried calling the store to check for an item instead of loading the baby up to drive to the store in the cold. Knowing the item is not in stock very often and not wanting to have the baby out more than necessary. I spend about $200.00 every week in Walmart in Clifton Park. Most of my groceries are purchased there because of the lower prices. The staff, although not rude, are certainly not customer conscious. Whether it is blocking the aisle with the large rolling carts used to pull on line orders instead of just putting it to the side or acting like they don't have time to answer a simple question they consistently seem oblivious to the customers. There is one employee on staff, however, that is clearly not like any other that I have described. This young lady is such a bright spot in my shopping experience. Every single time I'm in the store and see her she always says good morning to me as well as other customers. While she is always diligently working on a task, she will always acknowledge a passing customer with a big smile and pleasant greeting and continue with her work. I had the opportunity of passing her while I was leaving the store and sure enough she said good morning. I took that opportunity to let her know how much I, as I'm sure all the customers, appreciate her consistently pleasant demeanor. She thanked me and with that beautiful smile said, " It does take much to say good morning " I asked her for her name and said that I wanted to let Walmart know what a great employee they have. Her name Is Malena. I hope that the mgmt team in the Clifton park location sees this review and takes a moment to let Malena know what a great job she is doing and that she is appreciate! read more

This review is being written during the COVID-19 pandemic and is centered entirely around the Walmart Grocery Curbside Pickup. I began using this service when things started getting worse and I didn't want to go into stores. I can never get a Hannaford to Go time slot so Walmart it is. The app is pretty good, the only drawback to me is that if you edit your cart, which you are allowed to do up to 1:45 AM on the day of pick up, you'll end up with multiple pending transactions and I large amount being held until you pick up and it clears with one transaction. Just be aware of that if you are using a debit card, you might want to try to make all of your changes close to the time of your pick up so the hold isn't there for very long. It can be difficult to get a time slot, but you just have to keep checking back, as they book 5 to 6 days in advance. When you leave to go pick up your order, you check in on the app, and when you get there, it knows when you've arrived if you allow your phone app to use location services, and then you just pick your parking space and tell them what color your car is. They come right out with your groceries and put them in your trunk. They will sign for you so that you don't have to touch anything and the customer service has honestly been above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about the service. Generally speaking, I hate the traffic and the lack of stock that Walmart always has even when there is no pandemic, but this has been working out very well. Very few substitution or out of stock items. I'd also like to give a shout out to their employees and to say thank you for working on the front lines so that the rest of us don't have to go into the store. You are all amazing. Stay safe! if I could give this Walmart, zero stars, I would. I went in for an exchange that I was told from the Walmart care center I could do at this, Walmart not only was the manager I spoke to (Chris) rude and demeaning. He refused to do the exchange, and then couldn't even give me a real estimate of when I would get the return money back on my card. This is a Christmas present that cost over $300 that we received damaged with food caked on it fingerprints all over it and it didn't even work. It was also sold to us as brand new, which was not even close to the case . Now we don't even know when we'll be able to get a new one to replace it because he couldn't give us the estimate and now we also have a really sad kiddo at home who can't even play with his one big Christmas present. read more

I know Walmart has had issues with employees and they don't have the best payscale or employee benefits HOWEVER, I just left this store and I have never experienced such a miserable and not helpful employee/ cashier in my life! The woman was blatantly biased and kept sighing whenever I asked her a question and to double bag the heavy can goods. To top it off I wanted to use my bank card as credit and it was obvious that she did not know how to use the swiper. She kept telling me that I had to put in my pin number. This Walmart is even worse than the average Walmart. Every experience we have had here has been horrible since we moved to Clifton Park 12 years ago! We hate this poorly managed and staffed place so much in the event we need something that can only be purchased here my wife and I sigh and mentally prepare for what will surely be a horrible experience. We have had problems with super long lines, Christmas photos, returns, purchases and with just about anything this company sells to the public. Fortunately we can now find just about everything this Walmart sells online or Target or other retail establishments. So we maybe are forced to visit this nightmare 2-3 times per year. The short version of this review? WE HATE HATE HATE THIS PLACE. Among the 4 people with full carts of food because god knows why they are doing serious grocery shopping on a Tuesday at 2AM, and we're goofing off in this depressing abyss of a vacuum left unattended, the toy aisles messed to no end, and rows and rows of consumer products that have no owner. My review centers specifically around the tire and lube center. This Walmart tire center operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, so they do not take appointments. Therefore, one must be aware that arriving on certain days and times will influence your wait. Luckily, I went on a Monday around midday when they weren't terribly busy, and I already had my new tires, so I just needed them mounted and balanced. The service riders treated me courteously, and they did a good job overall. The one thing that cannot be beaten was their price. After tax I spent $55.64 for the installation of four low-profile tires. Adirondack Tire quoted me $85.60 out the door, and Warren Tire wanted around $120 for the same job. If I can suggest one thing about this Walmart store in general, they need more associates. My one complaint is that there are rarely employees available to answer questions. read more

Visiting any Walmart is one of the occasions where I go into Terminator Mode, swatting aside anyone who stands between me and my objective as though they were naught but irritating insects. I'm not the sort of person who blindly hates Walmart. I'm actually kind of indifferent about them. I'm neither a fan nor a hater, so when it's practical or inevitable, I'll shop there. When there are alternatives to try before Walmart, I'll definitely pursue them first. That said, it's a damn Walmart. They have a lot of stuff: video games, tables, televisions, tools, motor oil, clothes, whatever. It's big. They even sell groceries. If they sell something that you want and it's convenient for you, have at it. Chances are the price you pay will be OK. The store itself seems to be pretty clean. First time at the Clifton Park wally store. It looks new and the concrete floors are polished. However, when there are 10 people in line at the return customer service section you would think they would have 2! There was no front door person checking receipts which was nice. I will only go here early weekdays because it does get crowded and a lot of customers are rude cutting you off with their carts. read more

I like this super Walmart. It's in between where I work and where I live. Most Walmarts are pretty scary (Aka People of Walmart..) but since this one doesn't seem to be on a bus line, it's managed to cut back on the scary overweight and under educated usual crowd. I work 8am to 530pm Mon Through Fridays, so sometimes I'll cruise up there in the wee hours of the night, 1am, 2am on a Friday or Saturday and get necessity's for the week to avoid crowds. Good prices, clean bathroom, generally well kept store, and usually a pleasant experience. Not as scary as some of the other Walmarts in the capital region, but you gotta expand on the store size & merchandise selection to get the 5th star, as I've seen other Walmarts in higher taxed areas do. read more

Went to WalMart last night, at 6 pm, the woman (Zen?) very rude, and it's not the first time. I witnessed a customer tell her she was rude because she makes faces at the customers and acts annoyed if you need help. I thought that was her job. The store manager does nothing. You can find his name at the top of the receipts. This woman, I showed her the price rang up incorrectly, I gave her the correct price and the aisle if she wanted to check it. She made a face and quickly punched in numbers at the register. What she did was ring up the correct price and the wrong price, so I was charged twice. Not bad enough ... I took out my phone and added up what it should have been as a total on my receipt. Then I went to customer service. Let the games begin...4 people standing around doing nothing. I showed "Hannah" what the rude woman did...so Hannah said okay we'll put it back on your card...she now charges me again. Really? The other worker gives me cash back for one over charge and said the other will be 5 business days. She tried to blame the register, that it doesn't work correctly. I said to her, then why are you using it? No response. It was simple, Hannah did not know what she was doing. These are the people the manager has working at customer service? This store has gone steadily downhill as far as the employees go. The corporate office does nothing...when you try to contact them, well, you cannot. They have two people standing at the doors and most of them are looking at their cell phones. This is why prices keep going up steadily, paying people to just hang around and do nothing? A suggestion to everyone who dares go to the Clifton Park, NY WalMart...watch the prices that ring up at the register and carefully look at your receipt. Bottom line, the manager does not care, the employees do not care. You hear them complain as you shop, just what a customer wants to hear. Overall my experience with this store has being really good. my wife and I have being going to the store for over 3 years now and last night (2-13-19) was our worse experience since. a greeting woman name Anne treated my wife and I like we were thieves. it's the first in my life of going to stores that a greeter left the door and walked up to customers who were not at the door and ask for their receipts. we were standing in the store while I was on my phone with my friend trying to get some information from him about a product that he needed. After standing there trying to decide if I should get the product or not Anne left her post at the door, walked up to us and asked us for our receipt. we gave it to her and ask her what is it that she was looking for. she said she was " just checking our receipt" I said "ok" she continue to look at the receipt but I notice that she was only looking at the receipt and not cross checking what was on the receipt with what we had in our trolley. I asked her "how will you know if all that is on the receipt is in the trolley if your're only looking at the receipt" until this point we thought that she was just joking around with us.........until we heard her said something about the cases of waters that we had in the trolley. she said, "the price for the cases of water is not right"............suggesting that we scan a small case and put the bigger case in the trolley.........by this point I realized what she was doing. so I started to ask her (in a loud and angry voice) what's going on.........my wife told her to "get one of the wireless scanner and scan them if you don't believe.".............. by this there was a scene created (while I was cursing at her)..............she started treating us like we stole something. she went and got a supervisor, who didn't even have the courtesy to introduce herself and ask what's going on?........the supervisor took the bottle from Anne scanned it and realized that the price was correct for the cases of water that were in the trolley and told Anne that the price was correct. she told Anne let them go. my wife was trying to find out from the supervisor what was the issue and why did she treat us like thieves. the supervisor told my wife to "get out of my store or else I will call the police and have you guys banned from shopping at the store" I walked away because I knew that as a black man in america the adds are already against me and that a lot of these police are just eager to slap on a hand cuff, regardless if I'm right. We called walmart and made a official complain against those two employees. we also will be making a complain to the store manager for that store. it's really sad that we live in a world where someone is judge by the color of their skin. I knew that there is a lot happening in regards to racism and last night I got a real reality check. I know that Anne is only one person and she doesn't speak for everyone in america because I believe there are a lot more people who are against racism than are for it. this experience will not change how I see people whether they are black, white, red or yellow. if we stop and take a look we will realize that we have more in common. read more
