My husband and I only shop here every few months because we have a disappointing experience every time and end up shopping at Meijer instead. We give the staff the benefit of the doubt and every time we are left feeling disappointed. We are both polite and patient and understand people have their bad days. The last shopping trip we had here we had no problems until check out. We were waiting in line to pay and we're in no hurry especially because our two year old was at her grandparents house. The cashier was telling her current customer that she was going to go as slow as she wanted and "those people" can wait. She was laughing loudly with the customer and appeared to be high (red eyes, lack of eye contact, laughing loudly, etc.) I have no issue with this- that's her business, but that might explain some of her behavior? I don't know. Apparently her customer's husband had to go back and get something to add to their order. This happens all the time, people forget things and we don't mind waiting. I'm not sure why the cashier didn't explain to us what was going on instead of making rude comments that we could clearly hear. Like I said, this is just one of many ridiculous experiences we have had here. read more

One of my favorite Walmart stores and grocery stores. They are easily a one stop shop. It's well stocked and the staff is extremely friendly. I like how easy it is to find everything and how eager staff is to help you. The greeters on staff are the best part of the experience. read more

This used to be the good Walmart. That is no longer the case. There are never enough cashiers. This is a busy location. I waited more than 10 minutes in the express lane behind three people. Cashiers are always so slow and disconnected. Floor personnel have attitudes when asked for help. I saw a lot of wandering around. Did not spot one person stocking shelves or straightening. This is why KMart is going under. Walmart is on the same path. read more

Love this Walmart! Some employees are friendly, but MOST importantly the store is super clean, shelves always stocked, food is more appealing and clothing departments are very well organized! Overall this is an excellent store! I moved a little further away from this location, but when I'm going to buy more than a few things and groceries I drive the extra miles rather than go the Ghetto Fabulous one a mile and a half away! read more

I will never again go to this location if I could give them zero stars I would. I have not once have a had a positive experience here. I was walking in through the exit door behind a group of 5-6 other people and I was the only one who was stopped and told to leave the store and come back in through the correct door. Upon walking in the correct door the man who had stopped just me was talking to a coworker and referred to me as "this B****" without knowing I was in earshot of this conversation. I went to grab a cart and the person who was supposed to be wiping them down handed me a dirty one that I watched them pull from the rack- when asked to clean it I was told it was and that I will be fine and so I continued throughout the store without it as I didn't want a dirty cart. As I was walking around the store I heard other employees yelling at other guests for going the wrong way down an isle and screaming at them to leave and go around. A few days later I had called to ask about their return policy and was told to sit on the item until further notice and I asked if there was a general timeframe that they are telling guests and I was told that it wasn't their problem and if I wanted my money back I'd wait until they are taking returns. I am aware of the stress these employees are under but there is no reason they should be screaming at guests and treating them like they are less than a human being. read more

I used to come here regularly with my husband to shop. Then we moved and I switched to another location. It was an okay place sometimes shelves weren't stocked or there wasn't any wipes for the carts. Them one day I stopped in on my way toy mothers house and all I can say is thank Goodness I don't shop there anymore! The place was a friggin disaster! The makeup isle was trashed! Everything seemed to be over stocked and too many items in the walk way between the food and pharmacy area. I couldn't wait to get out of there! read more

Walmart makes multibillion dollars. Every early morning, I shop in Clinton Twp. There are only one to watch customers to do self serve in the small area. My cart was completely filled up. I had no room to put all the stuff. I thought I did good. I came home without 3 chips that I brought when I remember I put it up on top of the shelf because I didn't want it to crushed. So I didn't grab those before l leave. This is not the first time Walmart done this. I usually like to use the self serve roller where I have room to buy things and there is no employee there to watch. I was mad woman I didn't grab my chips. Thanks Walmart family, great job making money that way and also they changed the hours for customer service open at 11 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. Psssst....I work nights, I need money order charge $1.00 per money order. Well, guess what? I'm now shopping at Meijers and they sell theirs for .65 cent per money order. Nice try Walmart! You lose. read more

Absolutely the worst Exchange/Return desk I've ever encountered. One person handling customers. A customer was trying to return a damaged product and the cashier was struggling. They deployed the help of two additional cashiers and two managers before being able to resolve the issue. During this time the line continued to grow extremely long. No additional cashiers were deployed to assist other customers. Once the return issue was resolved, the managers left and still no additional cashiers to assist with the long line. I will not return to this store. read more

Very poor customer service. I went to return merchandise that was purchased with an EBT card and there were issues with my refund. The store manager started raising her voice at me and started to teach me how it's not her fault the card's not working and maybe I should ask the government why I was given a card that doesn't work. Everyone around me was staring and she humiliated me. When I requested her to lower her voice, she got even louder, claiming that I was being disrespectful and told me to get out of her store. When I asked for a name, she covered her name tag with her hair and wouldn't give me a name and kept laughing and smirking. read more

Alas, another Walmart test of patience... I went in about a half hour before closing time and it took me that long to get out of there. The slow cooker I bought was the only one of it's size and the box was tore open so I took it. Awful selection and "display" (more like racks of mish mash). Even though there were 15-20 people trying to check out they didn't open any more lines and in fact closed a couple! Really stupid. This Walmart is half the size of most other Walmart's. But, they have a good amount of merchandise packed in a smaller amount of space. This makes shopping a mess everything is on top of the next item. The next department seems to blend into the previous department. The misses department is so small you take a couple steps and you are in the plus size. The junior department is barely nonexistent. I like to shop and look at all the products, not try to find all sizes which there may be 2 or 3 sizes. This store is a poor layout. I hate shopping there it's built at half the size on purpose. Went in to walmart to cash my check. Got to customer service and they said they don't cash checks without the top to verify the address. I ask if I come back do I have to wait in line? The girl serving me said no that I just need to stand off to the side. I go get the top of my check. I come back Marlena the assistant says she won't help me and I need to wait for the person to come back to service me which she sent to watch the enterance of the feeah food... she then decided to help me and tells me My check got declined and it was my fault and I need to call Certsey or whatever its called. I called them and they said it was the incorrect amount entered... I look and Marlena tried to short me on my check.... She then acuses me of taking a picture of her which I proved infront of a manger there was none of her. The manager the told me I am not allowed to take pictures of walmart employees. And if I do I will get banned from walmart stores. After a half hour of this bs.. I finally get my check cashed... read more

If I could give this store ZERO stars I would. I placed an online pickup order for today, last night late. Set to pick up between 2-3pm. I am currently 3cm dilated and about to go into the hospital and needed to place these groceries for the hospital stay for my son and nanny at home while I am delivering. THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER AN HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE MY PICKUP. Katrina and Tracey were incredibly rude on the phone and basically just picked and chose which orders to cancel because they are "stressed" - I'm sorry, this is your job, and I absolutely was depending on this order to go through like any operating normal business practice or standard. You do not get to pick and choose what you decide you feel like doing! And pick and choose which orders suddenly cancel!! I am not only high risk, but about to give birth and not going into the store PERIOD and desperately needed this order of groceries. I've now run out of time to order somewhere else curbside. And these employees are just cancelling orders left and right. I have been on the phone for over 45 mins of hold trying to reach a manager as well. Do you think this is how I wanted to spend my last few hours at home before heading to the hospital to give birth??! This is HORRIBLE business practice and these two need fired if they can't handle their job of picking groceries. Now we also have a hold on our card for 3-5 days for $150 dollars worth as well while the order officially "cancels" back into our account. All I can say is karma is a b*tch and will come back for you two Tracey and Katrina. You cannot conduct business like this. A manager needs to fire these two ASAP. Terrible, terrible store. They are close and I make the mistake to go there. There is no such thing as service at this store. I wait in line, wait in another line, wait again for another person and they still don't help me. Wanted to exchange ink cartridges purchased a few days prior to day. Have my charge card but no receipt on me. No cartridges in the size I need. They still won't refund the unopened box because it was a $57 refund and they will only refund under $50. I would like to be banned from using this store because it is one bad story after another. Many more bad reviews than good. More people dislike than like this store. The poor put up with this bad service!!!! This store is not cheap they only offer cheap quality. read more

Don't buy any electronics from this store, they don't tell you that you have only 15 days to return it, and the return policy isn't printed on the receipt.... This is the worst Walmart I have ever been too. I wish I could give it -8 billion stars. All of the workers act as if they HATE their job. Whenever you press the prompt to speak with an associate they give you the worst attitude ever. That's besides the point, anyways I ordered a 500$ Flat screen tv online that said "same day pick up available at store." So I ordered it. After ordering I received an email stating it would be ready for pick no later than 6pm that night, 6pm that night came around and no one in the store has any idea where my TV is. They then tell me to wait 3-4 business so they can figure it all out out. I call 3-4 days later STILL NO TV!!!! The internet order manager then tells me " it may be in the back of one of our storage rooms somewhere I don't know, call me in a few hours I will try to figure it out. I then call a Walmart that is less than 15 minutes away and they have SEVERAL in stock. I am so mad, I will never ever ever order anything from this Walmart again. read more

Customer service people seem too good to be bothered with customers anytime we've had to go to them. Most of the staff don't seem to know where things are and there is a lot of handing off of customers to other departments or employees, it appears the trendy open format mall just down the street's attitude is embedded in this bunch. Not everything is bad here though, the deli staff are on top of things and limited waiting / fast lines . I prefer the Walmart just down the road at Hall and I-94, they don't make you feel like you are a bother when you need help finding an item read more
