This happened several months ago, but it w as my very first time using the Walmart app and purchase or items online and then pick them up in store-TOTAL fail, plus I never got refunded! I ordered to pay for the items to go pick up From from the app, just got a few things for my daughter and a bacon grease container for my mom. Everything seemed fine and normal until I got there... I must've spent 45 minutes at the least, waiting in the parking lot before anybody came up to me. Mind you, there were other people, pulling up, receiving their orders, and leaving while I was left, sitting there like an idiot. Finally, what are the teenage boys who worked there came over to my car and I explained my situation, showed him the app, then he disappeared inside, only to return 20 minutes later, with only one of the items that I had in my original order, that again we paid for-I pointed this out, and he said he would do his best with it, and had seen that "his friend had pulled the very last bacon container in the store, and he would grab me that one"... He did not in fact, grab me that one lol he didn't grab me anything, he didn't even come back outside. They tried to refund my money with this 'Onepay' bullshit that is convoluted and makes you jump through a whole bunch of arbitrary hoops just to get your money back for zero services or products rendered.. Do not recommend.... The biggest letdown ever. read more

Here's a update on this store almost 2 years later Still one of the worst Walmarts in the Memphis area and it has been this way the last 10 years. This store clearly needs new management here because that's been the problem here the last 2 years. Well I walked back inside this store to get essentials today and a man was arguing with a team lead over a long oil change with a 2 hour wait with 4 people just standing there does this store know how to ever hire the right people in this store or have proper management or team leads here? Every time someone new comes and is a "good" worker they're only there a couple months. I've never had a positive experience at this store the last couple of years. Decided not to buy the essentials and left. Clearly this store needs all new workers and management just awful now I see why I go to the Cordova or Olive Branch location instead never had issues with them. The ONLY reason this store deserves a star is because the door greeters are professional wish I could say the same about the rest go hire a better manager and better quality people to make this store better. read more

Good: I like the store redesign. Bad: Unprofessional Walmart employees is the heart of the issue. A group of Walmart workers camped out on the disability riding carts. Where is the store manager ? This is a continuous problem that occurs regularly. A person with disabilities comes to do business in your store, yet Walmart can't even manage their employees. Go figure... read more

Had to deal with Crystal, who apparently is a team lead in customer service. An angry employee that shouldn't be in customer service. Not helpful and not personable. She is one reason I won't return to Walmart. The other is that they don't accept Apple Pay. I didn't realize this because I rarely shop at Walmart anyway. This trip made me realize that I'm not missing out by avoiding them altogether. read more

Horrible customer service - produce is quite often moldy (see picture attached) purchased on 8/18/2024 and tried to return on 8/19/2024 and door greeter shared customer service was open u til 10p (it was 9:45p at the time) - got to customer service and no one was there so asked an associate at self check out if they could help me - the dark woman associate hollered at me two times that customer service was closed even though I shared that Walmart's door greeter just told me Customer Service was open for 15 more minutes. Pathetic. Don't shop this store - greed, entitled, no manners, disrespectful attitudes of 'associates' and not one of them know how the store operates. read more

I visited this location since I was in the neighborhood. I found a few items that I was looking for even though the store wasn't organized and they were very low on stock in a lot of the departments. Had delivery delayed. Chatted to see how long it would be delayed, was told to check back if I haven't received it within two hrs after delivery window. Two hrs after chatted in to be told check at the end of the day and that it couldn't just be canceled. Called told wait have a recording tell me to check back if I haven't received it in 48hrs. Who wants their grocery delivery two days late? Cannot get any help from customer service or any direction forward. Horrible experience, wish I could say it's the first time it happened. read more

This was my local Walmart in Collierville for years, but they were in a small location down the street when we first moved here, before a supercenter came to town. I have made many trips here over the years, despite my sweetheart general reluctance to talk a walk on the Walmart side LOL I have quite a few stories where Walmart has been the solution that saved the day and I am just not going to pretend it's funny to bash people or a company because it the fashionable thing to do, but I digress. They have all the amenities of a supercenter and the folks were always nice and friendly. The inventory is well maintained and my only beef was a couple of hiccups with the auto service department over the years for oil changes. However, they redeemed themselves when they went above and beyond on a tire warranty deal. Their garden center is well-done and I appreciate that and the grocery department has nice organic selections and the bakery is spot on. Bottom line: I'm not going to say that this is an amazing location but I have been to a half dozen area Wally Worlds and this one is by far the best all-around experience, period. read more

The other thing is that all the Walmart that I have been to, there employees have an attitude toward certain culture. They are not friendly. Today, they still treat certain people of other culture like shirt. Ordered online but returned item back to this store. This was my second time returning the item to this store. Customer Services person told me that their system is messed up to give me an refund, etc. They told me to go to another store. Yes, twice that I had to drive to different store to get my refund for the items. So, when are they going fix the system for online refund? Management needs to take notice. read more

They have a new system which lets you get refunds if other stores have things at cheaper prices. I also like the new self checkout though I am not as fond of the deli preprepared food. I may start coming here more often to get all my groceries if the new system is as good as expected. Literally stole from me. I ordered a ring at the last minute the day before my wedding on December 16th. I waited 40 minutes in pick up before giving up and requesting the order be cancelled. My partner and I instead went to Reed's Jewelers in Bartlett to get our rings. Somehow, magically, on the coldest night of the year, December 23rd at 6:27PM (two days after the time limit had expired to actually pick it up), my order was "picked up" likely by one of the employees who then pocketed the ring and my credit card was charged. I have contacted Walmart and filed a complaint. I will also be disputing the charge with my credit card company for fraud. read more

I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday and was supposed to pick it up at 8 this morning but I got there at 7:30 to get my order to find out that they have not even made the cake and no one was there I have the confirmation on my phone on Wednesday confirming the order but no cake has been made I asked to speak to a manager and the young lady up front said there are no managers here just the lady over the front end and she can't help you what kind of customer service is this I met Mr. Sam and this is not what he invisioned the only person that was trying to help was the young lady baking bread and I'm thankful for that ,but this needs to be addressed not a good way to start off my wife's special day read more

Terrible. They can't keep stuff stocked so you end up having to go to another store to get all the things Walmart was out of. I have lived here 3 months and already seeing a theme. Both my son and I experienced items being double scanned by different check out clerks. He caught his and went to customer services for a refund. I didn't realize until I left the store. Called the manager but no answer. Called corporate and they said someone would call back within 3 business days. 3 days past and no call back. It appears this is a common experience at this store and not an accident. Watch the scanning and check your receipt before you leave the store. read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I took some tires in for mounting today and they damaged the rims and refused to take responsibility for it. The manager on duty inferred that I was lying and refused to do anything to make it right. This is infuriating. Avoid this place. Avoid their tire place. On top of all of that when I got the tires home, I realize that they had mounted them backwards. Now I am going to have to buy a new rim and pay another shop to remount not one but two tires. Didn't speak unless she has to then she mumbled it so low as though any effort on her part at all would be more work than she should have to do. Then when I was trying to take my bags off the wheel she yanked it back the other direction because she was bagging someone's things.... Was I supposed to climb over to that side? Seriously. This review is specifically for the employees at Collierville, TN Walmart, involved in online/pickup groceries. I've been using this service weekly for about 6 months. These employees are, collectively, the BEST in customer service that I've ever come across! I'm always acknowledged when I arrive. There is usually very little wait time until they bring me my order. Substitutions of a product that was out of stock, and that I don't want, is always handled with ease. Most of all, they are KIND! I always look forward to seeing them. No matter the weather, several times even pouring rain, they still smile and are happy to help me. Once I had to call in and cancel my order because my car wouldn't start. The manager was completely understanding and assured me it was no problem. Great department all around! read more

Very poor customer service. No greeter. At least 10 employees hiding in the back. Nobody at their stations. Nobody knew where the keys for the radios was then finally found the guy that supposed to be there. Very rudely said "I ain't got no keys even if I did I can't open them for you, it's to late!" Terrible customer service. First, when I got there to pick up an order, I found out they picked the wrong item from the shelf and they had already sold out of the item so it was a huge disappointment because it was supposed to be a gift. No apology from the employee or from the lady who picked it. Second, they never refunded my money even though she said it was going back on my card. It never showed back up as a refund. Third, on a separate trip, we wanted to exchange an unopened vacuum cleaner that we received as a gift for a different vacuum cleaner and pay the difference. The lady at the counter needed to call over her manager, because she didn't know how to do it. The manager took one look at the screen and then very rudely started to accuse us of stealing, because the screen was showing that we had already exchanged the vacuum. Her employee had to stop her and tell her that the screen was showing that, because she had just entered it. Neither of them apologized for the manager's behavior. I hate Walmart. All Walmart's in Memphis are terrible, including this one in Collierville. read more

This is by far the worst Walmart I've ever been in. I was here a couple days ago and was trying to buy a new video game. There were barely any employees around and when I finally tracked one down, they said they didn't have keys to access the video game case. "Why don't you look for that light skinned boy with the dreads? He has the key, I think." Excuse me? Seriously? What kind of response is that?! Eventually after 5 minutes of waiting around, the guy that fit the description came around and said, "I don't got no keys! Besides, I'm off the clock!" Rude, rude, rude, and UNPROFESSIONAL. So I ended up not getting what I wanted because nobody had the keys to open the case after waiting for another ten minutes. OMG!!! I have just had the most amazing experience at Walmart. 1) The phone was answered when I called, and the lady was VERY helpful. She forewarned me that my car would not be ready until 6:00, and I decided to go any way. (I appreciated the heads up.) 2) Once I got there, Ms. Denise even remembered my voice and mentioned, "I think I just spoke to you." She then forewarned me about the wait again. She assisted me with the most pleasant attitude, but she also verified my tire warranty and made a copy for me to keep for reference. First I do not except quality service . That said what I just experienced is not even common courtesy. The front restroom was being serviced. No problem just enquirer the next facility. After meandering to the back near the groceries section, guess what? It was locked!!! An elder gentleman was with me shouted "I've got to go ". He spoke so loud a clerk heard and responded. Worst retail experience I've ever had. I have to go here quite a bit because I work late and everything else is closed when I get off. They of course are stocking the store at this time and there are pallets, carts and boxes all over the place. The stockers either don't understand how to stock or don't care because they seem to delight in blocking all the aisles. They look at you strangely when you dare to enter the aisle they are working on almost as if to say "what are you doing, you're in my way". They need to be told that customers are the purpose of their work, not an interruption of it. Beware of the guy who stocks the pet supplies aisle, he will stare you down and throw things at you if you get too close to where he's working. The self checkouts are horrible as well. The machines are always getting stuck and don't seem to want to give change back most of the time. However, I actually prefer the self checks because the cashiers are so rude. Wal Mart makes me wish Kroger was still 24 hours. read more

Oh yeah, I have to agree with all the horrible reviews here because they are true. Management will not say anything to the rude cashiers because the bottom line is they are afraid of them. I have to come here periodically because I must but sometimes I even drive to Oakland because they employees are much friendlier. The cashiers move at a snail's pace and if you have a coupon, make sure you get exactly what the product looks like because they cannot figure it out if the coupon says ANY type Tide, 1.00 off, it has to look like the example on the coupon. OMG, Oakland Walmart is really worth the drive. I try to go anywhere but here and when I go, I don't return for a long time. They are horrible. Deli personnel are rude and nasty all the time, they are hooting and hollering back there like a bunch of chickens in a hen house, totally unprofessional. This is without a doubt the worst store in Collierville. The employees are rude and don't seem to care about their customers. They regard them as interruptions of their work not the purpose of it. When they stock the store, they obstruct aisles and throw boxes all over the place. They give customers dirty looks when you dare to enter the area they are working in. I recently wanted to purchase an item that would not scan. It was a perfect gift for someone and because it wasn't in they're system, I was told I could not buy it. My question is why is it on the shelf if I can't buy it? The incompetence of these people is mind boggling to me. The employees at this store are awful terrible people and need to be trained in how to run a retail establishment. Not only is this store extremely dirty, but they were out of several things I needed. They had several plastic storage bins however no lids to fit them. I also needed Bona wood cleaner. They had the large refill jug but I needed a new sprayer bottle of Bona because mine was broken. Very limited flavors of Yoplait yogurt. I hate to shop 2 stores just to get the basics. read more
