Do not shop Walmart for any seasonal items! Do you know that they are not refundable! I purchased two pumpkin cutters and neither of them worked. I went to return them today which is far less than 30 days and they refused to give me my money back or any exchange. So everything is seasonal if you think about it! This policy is not posted. Manager admits such. Don't you think that if that were posted near all seasonal items that we wouldn't buy them? I think that they are Crooks. Typical urban Walmart. I am a Full Time RVer and loyal Walmart Customer. Most Walmarts allow RVs to park over night on their property, which I have done many times in 29 states. I typically spend $50-$75 when I shop at Walmart. On this occasion I had work scheduled for my RV the next day across town, so pulled into the parking lot to stay until my appointment. A nice Security Officer informed me I could not park for more than one hour and I must leave which I did. read more

Very disappointed with this location. I stopped in before work to pick up a few things. Every section I visited was poorly stocked with missing product. Hair care, luggage, housewares and sporting goods. I ended up finding two items and headed to the front of the store to check out. Only ONE cashier with 2 customers (who appeared to be employees getting off their shift) in line already. The person trying to pay was fumbling with their payment method for several minutes. The second person in line had half a cart of groceries. This line was going nowhere fast. I headed to the self checkout machines. I felt lucky for a second since there about 10 machines...but unbelievably not one was open. At this point I decided to give up and leave the store. at 6:45 in the morning, it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to think people might be on their way to work and need to check out quickly. I guess when there aren't many options open that early in the morning, you can dish out a terrible customer experience and shoppers will still come. read more

This store was pretty dirty and disgusting. The selection was limited with some shelves empty. I spent a lot of time looking for what I needed, only to come up empty-handed. Biggest problem is that I couldn't find anyone to ask for help. I walked isle after isle with no employees in sight. I was literally on my own to search. I finally bought only a few things, a small fraction of what I came in for and left. Wow, I don't think I'll come back to this Walmart unless I'm just going in for a quick item or two. The location in Colton is the worse of all. This review is for the grocery delivery department specifically because other store associates at pick up are amazing. This is the worse store to get groceries from though so please understand this review is only for that department. They are rude and do not pay attention to detail. They lie to you and on you when they make mistakes because they are young and inexperienced so they don't really care about loyal or repeat customers. The supervisor is the worse. She smacks her lips and huffs and puffs like a child when you express your bad experience with her department. After multiple bad experiences, I may cancel my Walmart plus unless I can just choose to receive groceries from another location. Of leadership is rude and immature, you can only expect the staff under her to do the same. Walmart needs more mystery shoppers to show how they are treated and make those associates accountable because it continues as there is no follow up or repercussions what so ever just a small talk and back to what they were doing. It's always difficult to get items at Wal-Mart but don't make it impossible either. It's always a challenge and extra wait, such a burden to the customer. Employees are not helpful at all I asked if I could get it from #3 since she said she couldn't go and had to have someone else go but didn't bother to find anyone. Like what do you want me to do go and find another employee for you? So lazy! Clean and friendly. I love the new grocery section. Although I can't do all my shoping here because there selection is limited. The produce is consitantly good. It is hard to get help when you have questions. There bakery selection is very good and I have been happy with all the items I gotten from them. Cakes are really good and a great price. read more

I found an area rug at my local walmart and it was the only one of it's kind, but it had been opened and there was no tag attached to it. This is the only area rug I was interested in and matched my son's room perfectly. I brought it up to the cashier and attempted to purchase it and was immediately told that I could not buy the rug because there was no tag.. no effort was made to try to figure out how much it was or to see if there was a way to look it up, they took it from me, said sorry there was nothing they could do, and continued to ring up the rest of my stuff. I go to a store where I assume everything is for sale, find something, and then am told I can't purchase it.. it was very upsetting and the fact that the employees made no effort in helping me was even more frustrating. I have a problem with most Walmarts. My main problem is the produce sections are sooo nasty! It seems like every time I go to a Walmart to grab some quick butternut squash or what have you I go home to find out the produce is rotten! Or it goes rotten in a day or so! Walmart is dedicated to low prices on inedible food! You must stick to the freezer section to be safe! Walmarts rotten produce problem must be fixed or they should be shut down! Why is the government letting Walmart sell rotten food to the low income population? Businesslike this creates food deserts for the poor and in effect malnutrition! I have been going to this Colton Walmart for a tremendously long time, and I have to say I have never had a big complaint about this store. It only takes ONE time. Today there were some Walmart employees putting posts to block the already blocked entrance. I saw a crowd of cars parked in the garden area, and I thought they would let people in through there. I asked the workers, and all the gentlemen were pretty quick to say they were completely closed. I appreciated the response and was on my way, but I heard some older lady (also an employee of Walmart). She very rudely commented "Don't people see the Damn ..." I don't appreciate the rude tone, and since she is a grown woman she should be considerate that I had my 11 year-old son in the car with me. I assume she must be having a bad day, but having a job in these times should be something she should be grateful for. I can't imagine that with so much going on in our society right now she uses to take this bad attitude towards others. read more

I went to Walmart to have 4 new tires installed. Called first and was told 1 1/2 hours. Got to the store and chose to have an oil change as well. Still was told 1 and 1/2 houts. Apparently, they cannot do two things at the same time (walk and chew gum?). I ended up waiting 3 hours and 15 minutes. Very frustrated watching the service help stopping to talk about who knows what while my vehicle sat. Their policy is supposed to be first come, first served. NOT!!! I should have given zero star for their poor service. I looked for a TI-nspire CX calculator. I checked online n found out that this store had it in stock. I went there but there was none on the shelf, so I asked the lady who worked there. She answered if it is not there means they don't have it. I am usually very satisfied with the cashiers but today this lady obviously is a lazy one. I grabbed a backpack for my son and when she saw it she said it didnt have a UPC only the price. I'm like ok and she says you can go grab it. Omg I ran to this Walmart cause I finally found my all time favorite count chocula cereal I live for this cereal only out once a yr haven't been able find them everyone's been out. I looked on Walmart online again and finally in stock.. I looked thru the store couldn't find it so I asked an associate if she knew where they were the cereal was located cause I didn't see them with cereal she said I haven't seen them yet let me go look in back she came out with it in hand.. Iris did magic and then a whole display appeared with them all thank you iris.. I was writing this review and I sat my phone dwn review open then I went out to car to leave ummm no phone I went back in and asked if they had my phone cause lady in ck out behind me told me while I was going I'm that I forgot it and they had it.. As a person who comes here on a regular basis out of necessity, this place sucks. I come here for the simple fact that the prices are cheaper. It's VERY hard to get customer service. Sometimes I walk around for 15 minutes thinking to my self "Does anyone work here?" Seriously. Train your staff to be more customer oriented. It just seems as though nobody cares. There's never anywhere to park. There are TONS of solicitors everywhere! Not to mention the homeless. At night it's so ghetto. I don't even go there after 9pm anymore. That's where I draw the line.
