This has to be my favorite location in Columbus and the greater metro area. Parking is easy, employees are friendly, store is clean, bathrooms are clean. They keep it pretty well stocked and never had any issues here. It is one of the least stressful location and absolutely recommend. Worth the drive if your are not close. That is where Walmart really has an edge. I got everything I needed without having to make multiple trips to different stores. Staff was polite and helpful. Self serve check out lines moved quickly. Granted I did go on a weekday at an "off" time, but the whole experience exceeded my expectations. read more

This is my favorite Wal-Mart. They always have what I need. Employees are always helpful (if I need help) and friendly. Today I went to shop for a Christmas party (a lot of groceries...I was dreading this shopping trip tbh.) It wasn't busy at all, every time I needed help finding something, an employee was helpful. Even the other shoppers were nice enough. I got 99% of my huge list (in fairness parsnips are weird and a hard-to-find item) and it didn't break the bank. Sometimes it's worth the drive here to save, especially these days. I used a regular checkout line and didn't mind waiting a bit (only 2 regular lines open when I went.) Employee was friendly and efficient. It would have taken eternity for me to self checkout. I'm glad they had a couple regular lanes open! read more

The price shown online should be the price that the store matches. Customers should 100% never have to download an app to see what the right price is. There are untold amounts of older people who still have feature phones (those without touch screens) and can't download apps, and even more still who don't understand the technology. Either way, the website price should match the app, should match the store and should get price matched in store. Getting into a shouting match with a customer and demanding I "look at the price in the app" when it doesn't show that price on the website (Walmart.com) and telling me the app is right and the website is wrong is just abysmal. Not sure who hired, let alone kept promoting Dhruvil to be the night manager but they should reevaluate their hiring and management choices. The online only deals that show out of stock in store, when the item is shown to the manager should get price matched 100% of the time if the customer literally cannot order it through the website. Downloading an app should NEVER be a requirement to shop at a Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. Treating customers poorly and refusing to answer reasonable questions as to why the price on the website won't be honored is really not a great way to treat customers at any time, let alone during the holiday season where there is so much competition for customers. Experiences like the one I just had make me with for a negative star rating being available, but I'm clearly not alone as this location has a 2.2 Star average which is about 4 stars too high. read more

I don't even know where to begin. The store and parking lot is filthy. The employees are hit and Miss except when you get to the register, it's straight up miss. They are slow, and rude. They aren't picking up the pace for anyone. Walmart has really gone downhill with their customer service. They do not care about the customer experience. The parking lot is full of trash and potholes. The employees, except for a few, they are there for a paycheck and the customer does not matter. This location is adequate but the parking lot is pretty dark at night. It looked like there were some lights out. For this reason, it may feel unsafe for certain shoppers. Additionally, the lot is full of potholes and needs a repave. The store seems relatively clean though and well stocked. The self checkout works well and if you have Walmart + you can scan and pay with your phone. Of the locations within the Columbus metro, this one is probably one of the better ones. It just needs a few improvements. read more

This is a dismal Wal-Mart store. I mainly shop WM for health & beauty products. The H&B section is frequently out of stock, and many boxes are smashed or opened. Many items are locked up to prevent shoplifting, and it's a hunt to find an employee. Then, they want to take the locked item and place it in another lockbox to take to checkout, like it's the Lost Ark. Come on! It's a $6.00 box of razor blades! I've seen looser security in a jewelry shop. Many of the employees appear to have little training or supervision, and just shuffle around the store socializing with each other or pretending to be busy. On today's visit, mid afternoon Sunday, very few customers. I left without half the items I came for. I went down the street to find same or better prices at Kroger, with less time wandering a vast store and far more helpful employees. This ghetto-ized Walmart is obviously going down the tubes. I see no reason to return ever. read more

This store is poorly run. The photo shop often has no one manning it. I wanted to look in the lost and found and the person at customer service did not have a key. I had to wait half an hour for someone to come with a key. I always have problems in this store. read more

Walmart is never my favorite place to be. Everything about it screams chaos. I've been a handful of times to this location, but don't frequent it as much anymore. It's easy to find stuff and I enjoy using the self scan. It's never all that long of a line. It's not a place I do most of my shopping. I usually grab a few things, like protein cookies, Activia (they are the only ones that sell the vanilla in larger packs), hand sanitizer, hand lotion, spray bottles. Parking lot is pretty large which is a plus. read more

This walmart is one of the better ones in the city for the quickie shopper. Everything is flipped at this location which may throw people off [pharmacy is on the right once you walk in the entrance. I only needed a coffee syrup and pumpkin pie seasoning. It wasn't busy at all. I simply came in and got out! Workers had masks and gloves and most customers did too. read more

I have no idea what was going on at our most recent visit. I ended up here because an item I was in search of was out of stock at the previous five non-Walmart stores I had tried, and the Walmart website alleged that they had it in stock. I know the sites can vary on accuracy, but I figured it was worth checking, so I headed over. Unfortunately, we ran into multiple unfriendly, and one downright rude, staff while simply trying to locate and select the item in question. I was not even trying to engage with any staff at the time, just looking for the item. I did manage to find the item, plus snagged a couple of additional things on my way to the register. At the register, it turns out an item was either incorrectly labeled with the price on the shelf or rang up incorrectly, which was frustrating, and then another item was missing its barcode. When I politely requested assistance, the cashier looked me in the eye and told me the item DID have a barcode. (Spoiler alert: it did not). Now I get it, as a cashier, it is really annoying to have to type it in manually instead of just scanning a barcode, but I have no idea how scolding the customer and insisting that there is a barcode when there clearly isn't is going to make that go any faster or better for either staff or customer. I left feeling completely annoyed and actually beginning to wonder if *I* did something. Fortunately, my faith was restored by my subsequent four stops on my errands - every single other store had polite, professional and friendly staff who were either at least welcoming and helpful all the way to downright cheery and engaging with jokes. As far as this store goes... well, they did have plentiful parking in the shopping center lot, and it is walkable to some other great little shops and the Cinemark movie theater. read more

So y'all better sit comfortably on your seats because this about to get funny. It starts with a guy that walks into Walmart one day.... A guy walks into Walmart one day and he's in his early 20's he has no reason to be there but he's there anyways. He stumbles across the media section and he's like we'll I really like 3D TV's maybe I should purchase one today. This is where the funny part comes in.... He's about to purchase The 3D TV when his card gets declined. So he calls his credit card company and it takes approximately a day to tell him why they declined his card. Reason being is they thought someone stole his card and made a huge purchase at Walmart one day to add a nice 3D television to their home so they had to stop the card to protect his identity. A year later, another young lady comes back to that same store to purchase some household items. She comes to the register and her card gets declined too! So she's thinking wow, is their just a system failure here or is it just luck that her and her fiancee both got declined at the same exact store! Although after declining this ladies card, it gave her a nice receipt confirming all her items were purchased and the store is just having a wonky system failure! Moral of the story, both the young man and lady learned to change their credit card addresses so no one bothers them again! The Team Lead "M" and customer return sales person "T" are Tragic n Useless. I bought a Daily's strawberry daiquiri frozen cocktail and noticed that they overcharged on my receipt ($2.27) but is advertised ($1.99) I walked back into to get refunded for the advertisement price and you know they said we don't do price adjustments on Alcohol. They said here in Ohio we don't do price adjustments on Alcohol sales. ( What does that even mean?) That's Fraud..... This my is 3rd time W this particular Walmart that I had to get readjustment on my receipt due to wrong pricing. This is 1st time they said "No" because of Alcohol. read more

Every time that I shop at this store there are very few cashiers and tonight there were 3 self check out stations that has bags over the screens because they were out of order. For a Walmart, this is a good one. I didn't feel uncomfortable as a young woman alone, like I often do at other Walmarts. It's nicely organized and lots of good displays. This Walmart has got to be the worst supercenter in the entire greater Columbus area. Two associates who were "working" the self check out registers spent more than 10 minutes on their phones while I observed three different customers/groups shoplift multiple items right under their noses. Yasmin and Hajera were so oblivious to what was happening that they even smiled at them, and told them to have a good night while they were carrying the shoplifted items out of the store. I understand that some people cheat the system. But I purchased an ink cartridge for my printer. Took it home and it was a faulty cartridge that didn't register. I tried all of the troubleshooting recommendations from hp and none of them worked. Tried returning it and was told I wasn't able to because it was opened. Well what am I supposed to do? It's not like I knew it was faulty before I put it in my printer! I even talked to the manager and he walked away. Not very happy with the customer service here. read more

I want to share my recent Walmart shopping experience 2700 Bethel Rd Columbus, Carriage Place Plaza Store 3812 Curbside Pickup goods is a good idea if you can keep it running, but do not offer a service what you cannot provide. After I finish shopping, 5pm I moved my car from regular parking lot to curbside pickup parking. For 9 parking spaces with numbers, 17 cars arrived at the same time. I do not use Curbside pickup, but this time I had to because I did not find what I needed on the shelves. I parked in parking spot null close to the delivery door. We were without parking number 4 cars. Takes time The delivery guys have already delivered purchases to everyone, including the cars next to me. Already delivered to the new cars that drove up. Then I stopped the delivery guy to find out what was the matter. He said that he didn't know where I parked, although he delivered packages to the three cars near by me. In short, I spent 1 hour and 50 minutes until I received my orders in a warm car and when I arrived home and unloaded car another half hour passed, as a result, 14 frozen and 1 chilled things thawed. To prove it, there is a receipt with date & time. The biggest surprise for me was when at home I opened a tub with GL Sour cream 24oz and inside, the contents were chunks with some liquid, on the package there was NO expiration date. I have a question; - Who will compensate my losses of food and gas which I spend to keep me warm?. read more

It's a typical Walmart: there's clutter everywhere; the layout is a complete nightmare; the staff was unprofessional; and it stinks. The cashier didn't even acknowledge us. No hello, how are you, or anything. It's not like I expect them to kiss my ass, but I didn't even know she was checking me out. She didn't say one word to my wife or myself the whole time. Not to mention, a supervisor of some sort and another employee were loudly talking about work affairs that I had no interest hearing. They were standing so close to us that it felt like we were part of the conversation. Isn't there an office?? The worst part? I walked past the refrigerator door, which was wide OPEN, in their produce area and it smelled so bad I gagged. There is absolutely no excuse for a refrigerator to smell that bad. It smelled like rotten produce. Seems obvious, I know, but you honestly have no idea how noxious and repulsive that smell was. I desperately tried to talk my wife into getting our vegetables elsewhere. She didn't and they weren't terrible, but I'll never shop there again. Great service!! I love how when you walk out you are greeted and when you walk in you are greeted. Great clothes selection. Great food selection. They don't have a main jewelry department. We got a book bag they were all stocked on school stuff. They had what I needed at the time I needed it I love it and I will be coming back. They also have a cosmetic department. All stocked up. It's a Walmart. I try to avoid them, but sometimes they are handy, and they have a ton of stuff, at good prices. This one is huge, and anchors this mall. Service is friendly but pretty useless, and staff are hard to find. Selection is huge. Items are cheap (sometimes crappy.) I'm not much of a review poster, and the only reason I'm giving this review two stars at all was because of a nice young man in entertainment. real reason I am writing this review is because of a fear induced old man who works at the entrance of the home area. We came as Walmart in search of Funko Pop vinyls with not much luck. We did end up purchasing a large tv, and had to come back for later in our suv. The gentleman in electronics was very polite, and took the time to check stock and answer any questions I had. ...Granted I was in a rush coming back and picking up my tv, the man at the front entrance glared at me as I flew past starting to shout "You caN'T COME THREW THIS WAY!". I glanced back saying "No disrespect!" and kept going to customer service. They were very kind at customer service and seemed eager to help me. We shortly got my tv to the door...now I tried to hand my receipt to this old man while saying again "No disrespect man. Have a good rest of your day" ... he flinched backwards a bit and replied "You're a big reason this disease is spreading, and I hope your day gets worse!" I'm pretty shocked at this being that he is an employee let alone an elderly man who clearly only watches fake news. I hope one of his supervisor sees this post and picks him out, I wish I had names. Worst walmart I've ever been to. Mad I can't give it a zero rating. My first time here I thought it was just a fluke when I asked a guy for help and he said, "It should be here keep looking" then walked away. Second time I go to try on clothes, the lady working doesn't even glance up when I'm waiting for a fitting room. I have to ask her if I just walk in or she helps. I exit and ask if she can take the clothes, she gives me a look like I'm an alien and then proceeds to ask me if I'm going back that way, suggesting strongly I should not have to make her get up and actually do some work. I'll never shop at Walmart again and I now see why they get such a bad wrap. read more

I'll echo Heather's 5-star review because it just popped up. This is my Walmart......due to my excessive consumption/need of fresh veggies and fruits I shop here at least twice a week. Once a week I shop at an obsurd 5:30-6:00am on the weekend after my morning run when they are stocking and all is quite. There is one checkout guy and I'm in, out, and on my way in less than an hour. My other trip is generally after work on a Wednesday or Thursday when I run low on their uber-affordable broccoli, celery, or apples......there are 1,000 people speaking 20 different languages in the store and MAYBE (if you're lucky) three checkouts open. Three out of 20 total. Why? Who the hell knows?? I'm in....in......in......in.....eventually out......and since I'm driving (as opposed to walking on the weekend since it is so close to home) I then contend with assinine Bethel/Sawmill rush hour traffic. 5 stars for my ultimate love/hate relationship......when price and convenience defeat common sense. read more

This Wal-Mart is probably the smallest in Columbus and doesn't carry everything that a Superstore would normally carry. The biggest downfall of this Wal-Mart is there are no U-Scan check-outs. I normally hate using them, since it takes away from someone's job, but at a large store like this, they are kind of necessary. If you go there past 9 o'clock, they close down most of the registers and you are stuck in line for 20 minutes, which is not worth your time if you only have a handful of items. I would make the extra trip down the road to the Dublin location by Tuttle Mall. read more

I don't often shop at department stores these days--I find it much easier and more cost effective (no time wasted driving to and from the store or wandering the aisles) to shop and order items online and have them delivered. But in this case, the item I needed was cheapest at Wal-Mart and was offered with free same day in store pick up. I grew up not far from Bentonville, Arkansas--Wal-Mart's hometown. In fact, I have fond memories of going to Wal-Mart with my mom when I was a kid for shopping trips. Something has happened in the intervening (ahem) 30+ years, though. Globalization, increased competition and a never ending drive to reward shareholders through dividends, profits and higher stock prices has resulted in a thoroughly depressing shopping experience. Maybe it's the color of the walls and floors, the beatdown attitude of the workers (but make no mistake, no one was rude to me) or the (new to me) policy of charging for plastic bags but I couldn't get out of the store fast enough. As long as it is financially feasible for me, I will try my best not to go back. read more

One thing I can't stand about any Walmart is their pricing problems. One sign says one price, when you scan the item it says another price and finally when you get to the register it scans another price. They don't want to honor either the price the sign says or the price it scans on your phone. However, they want to charge you the higher price even though when the CSM manager scans it on his phone and it comes up as a discount. It's very stressful and as a consumer this is really irritating! This happens just about every time I go to any Walmart and things are marked down. 100% irritating! read more

As far as Walmarts in the Midwest go, I can't really comment because I'm new to this area, but compared to the ones I often frequented in California, this one is very nice. The stores is pretty clean. All the carts I've used have been very easy to push. In California, a lot of them have a wobbly wheel or other issues that makes them difficult to push. A lot of the carts at this store seem very new and in great condition. The workers here also seem very friendly. In the few times I've asked for help, the workers have always escorted me and showed me where a product was. read more

Best Walmart in town Probably the most peaceful, bearable walmart experience I've ever had let alone in Columbus. It is usually clean and organized inside. The only downfall is the produce section, the fruit looks gross most days. Lines aren't too bad, staff is relatively helpful. It is the only walmart I ever want to go to. read more
