I loved this store, it had things I like to wear and lots of basic pieces that you can add to an outfit. Very very affordable. I definitely understand why people who knew about this store were so excited for one to open in Charlotte. I purchased a dress that I had to go down in size and jeans that I had to go up in size. Try on everything so you can make sure it fits. My fitting room experience was not great. The attendant was more concerned with conversing with her coworkers than checking me in. Self check out can be tricky if you are not paying attention. The lady ahead of me did not get a receipt and the attendant told her incorrect info about obtaining it. After I paid and my receipt did not come out, I asked for assistance. Turns out the paper was jammed in the machine. I have my receipt, but the lady in front of me was SOL. The manager told her if you need to bring something back to tell them what happened. I hope they don't give her a hard time about that! I do agree with other Yelpers to come here during the day or during the week to not be in a crowded store. All those things being said, I wanted to use the restroom, but was disgusted before I even made it to the toilets. I think I'll write corporate because the walls were DISGUSTING. I can't figure out how walls get this dirty, but employees should not be subjected to this filth on a daily basis. Waiting in that line was ridiculous. I've never seen a retail store in such complete chaos. Merchandise was piled everywhere, racks were a mess, and the entire store looked like it had been picked over for days without anyone bothering to straighten it up. You really need to see the photos to appreciate how bad it was. The only reason this visit wasn't a complete disaster was Nya (hence the one star...for Nya). She is one of the most efficient cashiers I've ever seen. While the other register crawled along, Nya was friendly, professional, and moving customers through at an impressive pace. She easily checked out several times more customers while still providing excellent service. What made the situation even more frustrating was watching the manager/supervisor stand nearby talking with employees instead of opening another register to help the two dozen customers waiting in line. Leadership isn't standing around while your customers become increasingly frustrated. This store desperately needs better management, better organization, and enough staff to handle the volume of customers. It will take a genuine emergency before I ever step foot in this Ross again.

I quickly did a google search to see if the price was reasonable and saw that Dick's Concord store had the same item at half the price and in several more colors. I ordered online for store pickup to save on shipping and when I arrived noticed this wasn't a typical Dick's store. Makes sense why my flask was so much cheaper. They make it easy to pickup an online order curbside or in store. In your confirmation email you just check in and a notification is sent to a point person at the store. I think I even heard a doorbell ring. With this method you don't need to show ID. Of course I had to do a quick browse, and the prices are very reasonable. The store appears to be well stocked too. I didn't make it past the tops because they were about to close, but I'll definitely return to find some workout gear. I like that you can use your phone to price check anything in the store, that should be a standard at all stores. I grabbed a couple of shirts and can't wait to return.

I grabbed a few items for my son, it's so hard to determine on the floor which items are for boys and which items are for girls. I got my son some air max nikes for 70 bucks. I think they have decent prices, I was bummed to be told that you can not at least exchange items. The staff were mostly kids (at the register) and they weren't friendly at all. I had to walk back myself to get a size up from the shoes I got my son, it was taking forever for them to get someone to do it. You might find some decent deals, but don't expect great service.
