Personally I prefer to shop local, but glad this monster of a Wally World is here. Was able to get the fishing equipment I forgot, some groceries, and snacks. That came in helpful for a trip, as hungry drivers aren't the best. This store's convenience to places our family goes, in this era of high gas prices is helpful. No doubt about it. My view of Walmart is its purgatory. They all fall in this category, so it's nothing about this store in particular. Good people watching opportunities provide free entertainment. This location is well stocked, and thank you to the folks, who made sure the correct fishing line was available! Here is where you can save some money. The stores employees are super friendly and easily found when needed.They always take the time to take me where my hard to find merchandise is stocked even if its on the opposite end in the store. When I mentioned to that special someone that I wanted to go to Walmart I got a look of disgust. I can understand why that is the case because not all Walmart stores are created equally. Not even close. This store is huge with two different sides. One side is your standard Walmart on steroids along with a fairly nice garden center doing the spring and summer seasons; the other side is a full grocery store. I will not say that EVERYTHING is cheaper here but they certainly have a ton of products to choose from. I would say that price shopping vs. Market Basket might make sense but unless Shaws, Stop and Shop or Hannafords is running a crazy sale I would say it is safe to assume the prices are better here. When the store originally opened up they had a McDonald's in the entrance to the left. It has since been replaced with a Subway. They have an optical department, pharmacy, a credit union, a nail salon and a very small arcade. They have bathrooms in the front of the store as well as the back by electronics. They can be a mess at times but nothing like what I have seen in most Walmart stores. I typically judge a Walmart by how the store is maintained as time goes on and this store is still in very good shape; hence the 5 star rating.. That special someone told her family that she was amazed at this Walmart and actually didn't have an issue in the store as they even had an organic and gluten free section with products and are difficult to normally find.... The prices aren't as competitive on these items but they have them. This section is towards the back left over by the pet section and the fish tanks. Extended hours during the holidays helps as well. read more

Bought a Girls 20" bike on 9/11/21 for granddaughters' birthday. The chain kept falling off as soon as she started to pedal. Exchanged bike on 9/15/21 - same brand - same model - for some reason, the associate gave a credit as a "gift card" and then applied the gift card to the purchase of the new bike. As my granddaughter was riding the second bike, the bike would not change gears. Returned bike 9/17/21. Spoke to "Team Leader" at the customer service approx 8:30am. Because the first associate issued a gift card on the first return, the "Team Leader" would ONLY issue a gift card for the return. I asked to speak with a manager, she replied "there is NOTHING they can do, the computer says you paid by gift card we can NOT credit your credit card. If I wanted to return the bike, I had to take a Walmart gift card for $114.00. Walmart needs to change the way the treat customers read more

As a newer Walmart, compared to some stores in the region, it's clean and organized (though they do move things around frequently, so sometimes need to remap your brain if you haven't been in for awhile). They've really improved the quality of the produce in the last couple years. Used to be horrible, over ripe/rotting stuff. Some prices, especially in the dairy department, you have to watch. They're not the best deal in town. They had been doing a good job at one point of increasing the number of organic/natural (whatever your definition of that term may be) products. Guess they weren't selling, because harder to find these days. The cash registers frequently have lines, and people shifting from one to another looking for shorter lines, because they never seem to have enough staff on. Considerably longer wait today with all the back-to-school supply shoppers. You just accept there will be a wait and hope you get a cashier who isn't in training. ;) As another reviewer has experienced, we've had an issue with the auto shop too. Usually they've been great and we get all the oil changes done if my husband is short on time to do it himself, and tire rotations/mountings. But a month ago they managed to scratch five brand new 20" chrome rims putting tires on. The first tech who made the mistake was mortified and couldn't apologize enough. Young guy. We understood, things happen and they would pay for the replacement. We were assured the money would not be deducted from the young man's pay. Manager said they'd give the job to the senior tire guy. He ruined three more, plus a spare, and couldn't have cared less. Pretty appalling attitude. He said they'd send them out for polishing. Not with gouges as deep as they were, all in the same place. Apparently an issue with the machine. So why didn't they stop? Manager apologized and said a claim would be filed with their insurance company. We've been getting the run around from them, so that issue is still pending. My purpose today was to get a prescription for my dog. Since a fairly inexpensive pain killer that used to be dispensed by my vet was reclassified as a controlled substance this week by the DEA, it now has to be filled at a pharmacy. And the price has skyrocketed. We get most of his prescriptions (except the compounded one) at CVS and a good price break with AAA discount. Turns out CVS charges $90 for a one month supply of this pain med, with AAA discount or price would be $150. Did some price comparisons and found a discount coupon from a website that brought the price down to $19 at Walmart. So I had the script called in. Went to pick up to find they won't accept that discount coupon, nor AAA, on any pet prescriptions. Charming. However, it was only $43 in comparison to CVS. Still almost double what the vet used to charge. read more

Believe it (or not), I found this Wal-Mart Supercenter to have a huge variety of items. I'm comparing to other Wal-Mart retail stores that are either near my residence or work. I was very surprised to walk in and find a clean Wal-Mart. It is not usually, at least in my experience, to see a clean Wal-Mart. Most I have walked in are filthy, clothes or items on the shelves not sorted or stacked correctly, etc. I came into this store looking for a Bluetooth headset for my iPhone because NH is "hands free" and I needed to take calls while driving through NH. While standing in the electronics area, I was looking at a few options and then researching quickly on my iPhone. However, a very helpful Wal-Mart employee from the electronics section came over and asked if I needed any help. Wow, I was surprised and startled because that is not typical in the stores that I frequent. Not only was this gentleman helpful in helping me decide on a headset, but also helped me with deciding on a couple other electronic purchases. I wish I caught his name and hope he sees this message some day. I thank him for his help very much! In any event, I found my visit to be pleasant including checkout. There were several open self serve registers, and also several employees at regular registers, which was a shock to me also. Had a nice visit and would certainly recommend and return again! P.S. I used their delivery service today. The car that brought my order was different than the one listed. Also there was more than one person doing the delivery. One person was listed as coming. The car was filthy and my Groceries were spilled across it. The trunk was to full of there garbage and they could not fit it all in there. I know they use door dash but they obviously don't look to see what is going on. read more

This is by far one of the better Walmart stores I've been in. Most items were well stocked and was generally clean throughout the whole store. Cashiers were quick and personable, even the greeter acknowledged my presence which isn't always the case in other stores. The only thing I can say that would've been better is having one or two more express registers open. I'll definitely go back here if I need stuff. read more

Golly, I do love a bargain, and, a $20.00 oil change is like finding money in the streets. OK, not really, but... Even though I live in Epping, I'm going to have to find a better oil change place- even if it's both more expensive and further from home. Random list of every visit issues: * Will only use 3,000 mile change intervals regardless of validation of proof of recommended service intervals. Even when using full synthetic oil. Will agree to use a 5,000 interval... just won't do it. * Always 2 techs short today. * Always 'very busy', even when there are no waiting customers, cars waiting to be brought in... Always " a couple of hours til we can get your car in" * Never, ever been notified when the car was done. Ever. Even if I'm waiting in the waiting room. * Woke up to find 2 flat tires, which, upon inspection were leaky valve stems. Funny, but, the only part touched by Wal-Mart to check tire pressure and add air if needed. No screw, no nail, no leaky seal around the rim. 1 could be just random, but, 2 the next morning= not random. Most business models revolve around increasing business. At Wal-Mart, it seems like they are NOT compensated by work completed. i.e. they get paid the same to stand around as swapping tires/batteries &/or oil. Also, they could care less if you pick up your car or not. Whatever. I's your car, if you want it, come in and wait 15 minutes to pay for it- just like everyone else. I think I'll go to a 1/2 hour place, sit in the very grungy lounge and read car magazines, cuz, no matter what- I'll be driving again in 30 minutes. I'll even pay more- i's worth it! read more

They have 15 people, no exaggeration in the returns line and the manager refused to call for assistance. I had to call and complain to another manager, which the phone person was reluctant to pass me along to one. Then they sent 1 more person who was just as slow. Boycotting this sorry excuse for a super center. Super slow center is more accurate. At least 35 minutes in line gave me time to share this review and POOR service. At least try to resolve a situation when a customer calls for assistance. read more

I really enjoy shopping at Walmart. They have everything that I need and I like how the store isn't over crowded with employees. The main issues I have is with 1. The lack of employees covering registers. * During busy times of the day only a couple registers are covered and the lines are absolutely ridiculous. Wait times of 20+ minutes just to check out. 2. The aisles are messy and unkept during the day. * Mainly clothing aisles, but aisles are often messy from customers misplacing items and things being dropped. If these issues could be fixed then this would be the best shopping experience in Epping, but I often hear that people are switching to Market Basket and/or small business' because of these issues at Walmart. read more

A large fairly new Wallmart with a large grocery section. Very convenient one stop shopping when you need a few groceries and other department store items. As with all Walmarts the selections are limited for each item you are looking for. If a certain brand is what you want this might not be the best option. read more

I stopped at this Walmart on my way to work to grab a charger. I got there at 7am when doors opened and went straight to electronics. The charger had a lock on it so I asked someone working nearby for assistance but he didn't have keys so he asked on his radio for another employee to help. I waited 15 minutes and still no one so I called the customer service desk (I didn't want to leave in case someone showed up). Another customer was also waiting for another locked item. I explained to the woman on the phone at customer service and without really listening she said "I don't even think anyone is working in electronics now but I'll transfer you!" which didn't help because no one was working electronics... so I called back and asked her if she could send someone to electronics who has a key.. she said she would try . Now 20 minutes later and me and another customer still waiting.. No one came by. So I tried to call customer service again but no one answered. I went to the register up front to buy a drink and noticed a woman working customer service and wondered why she didn't answer the phone, so I called the number and watched the phone ring while she moved some of the line ropes around. She then proceeded to go to the phone, look at the caller ID, and ignore the call.. Honestly shocking. Not going back. read more

bought an air conditioner what i thought was through their store when it blew up,literally, at 2a i called store in morning. only to find out it was an online purchase and would take 4 days to deliver new one. explained i had since had a stroke and could not bring it in or put it in, nor take out old one. what i got was "you'll have to find someone". by the way the item in question was used 4 weeks. what the hell? i wont be buying any large ticket items from them either. i was already upset cause it didn't get here for 10 days, not two days like they promised. what a bag of wind they are...just to keep up with amazon, they lie. no more purchases from walmart for delivery service or any service, they are junk. A shout-out to the tire center guys Dan and Max at Walmart super center in Epping: had a flat tire 60 miles from home, just emergency spare with me and it was Sunday, 5pm. TPMS was broken, usual a $120 affair - and time consuming. They did not have the sensor in stock at the walmart tire center (wouldn't expect them to) but instead of leaving me stranded they came up with a $10 quick fix, replaced the valve with a rubber valve and had me on my way home after half an hour. They were not greedy, not trying to upsell, not overcharging - and a pleasure to talk to. They saved the day and really helped me out - for $10. Awesome job, great team, thanks a million times! read more

Came in to get an oil change and tire rotation. Never been at a Walmart Tire Center before so was hesitant about the service and quality. Came in early weekday afternoon and the place was almost empty and quiet with 3-4 workers. Drove into a lane but didn't know which one so got out and asked a bearded worker. He just looked at me for a few minutes and finally said "You, over year!" and pointer to lane closest to store. He was rude as heck!! Told cashier about what service was needed and waited almost 2 hours! It was empty as my car was the only vehicle there! Anyway, was paged over the store's intercom and paid for the service. The price was very reasonable though there was a mixup that I wanted a tire rotation but Walmart included balancing of tires for a little more. Oil change and tire rotation appeared to improve the fuel efficiency of the car. I'd return for the price and oil change but NOT for the service which was terrible. None of the technicians or cashier talked to me about the service and the first tech, as previously stated, was just rude!! Store is large and has some decent items including grocery items, some of which were relatively affordable though it does have a limited selection of items. Price depends on what items you're looking for but don't anything fancy but the basics considering it's a Walmart. The store was relatively clean and brightly lit. Bathrooms were located in the front area. Customer service is a mix of good and bad depending on who you ask for help and when. Forget the auto service department for friendly service. read more

This store does not have it together. On more than once occasion I found products mislabeled with the price. Finding out at the register that what you are buying costs twice what you thought it did is not cool. When I worked in retail and this happened, I was always instructed to mark the price down to whatever it was mislabeled as - this store does not follow this rule. read more
