This is my first time trying Culver's. I ordered the fish dinner as I heard good things about the freshness. The batter was light, but very greasy. I ended up having to peel it off. With a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of salt, the fish was good. Without it, it was bland but I'm sure that it to appeal to more palates. I tried the cheese curds as everyone raved about them. They just tasted like mozzarella bites. I don't know what I was expecting, but they were tasty, salty, and crunchy. They recommended to drip in the ranch. I tried it but the ranch tasted very artificial. They probably would've tasted batter with marinara. As for the service, the person who helped me at the counter was very helpful. They walked me through the menu and shared popular items. I appreciated their patience. Many of the tables in the lobby needed to be wiped down but it was probably after a rush and they hadn't gotten an opportunity yet. Overall, an okay first experience. read more

Happy to have found a Culver's on our road trip. It's right off the highway on a Main Street with lots of free parking. No wait, good to order as we want it & dinner for 2 under $20. This was my first time at Culver's and I have to say the fish sandwich was good. I think brioche bread and coleslaw on it would make it better. Service was pleasant. Restaurant was clean. A great place to eat. For me it's a tasty cheeseburger value basket that includes a side of chili and an iced tea. Mrs. E. changes her order each time, but always puts fries in her value basket and shares my chili. I usually add a little chili to the burger and create quite the mess. Goes down easy, though. I like the way they cook their burgers and the fact they deliver them to our table. The free refills on the soft drinks (in our case, tea) is nice and the large dining area ensures we'll have a comfortable place to enjoy lunch. Here's the beef! A dbl butter burger has a crisp to the juicy burger and the bun is toasted! Score that! The team will actually make my fries crispier and they deliver to my table with a smile. I get free refills on my drinks here, too. If you want a sweet treat, the concrete mixer will definitely calm that beast down. Sometimes the tables still have food crumbs from the diner before me, in fact, most often. Overall, the restaurant is clean, as are employees and they absolutely look like it's a fun or at least acceptable place to work. I go to Culver's once a week for the ice cream it's wonderful especially ice cream sundae vanilla with mint and brownies, it's my favorite always going there for the ice cream nothing else. I tried the burger once i really don't like it so much fat on it and the smell of the sandwich is awful because the fat in it. But no complaints about the ice cream it's my favorite place ice cream love it read more

I'm getting more disappointed every time I eat there. I usually get the cranberry bacon blue salad. I think they're using bacon substitute now. I find that it has a "funny " taste to it. Fast, friendly service. Great value. Pup cups. Good food. I've never had a bad experience here, or at any other Culver's. That's a rare compliment in today's hectic world. The staff take a moment to be relatable...like telling us how cute our dogs are, or just not being mindless robots who only chant the required mantra of drive through speak. I absolutely LOVE my gaylord culvers! The burger is always hot and fresh, and you can taste that! Mackenzie taking my order was very sweet and personable as well as efficient! she understood my order quickly and was still able to make it somewhat personal, as well as all the workers there! i always get my food quickly and it always tastes delicious! when i do come in for custard or other things they ALWAYS excel in taste. I wanted to get a special mint flavor for the day but all I got was a tiny scoop lime size scoop. Half of a lime sized is a rip off I thought the special would be larger size like kilwins or the Bob in ice cream, but they gave me a child size scoop which pissed me off,,,, waiting in the line at the drive thru was not funny at all. Ok I've traveled thru Gaylord thousands of times. I learned to avoid eating in the area because the service is horrendous. I have to say this establishment is the only the second place in town that'll recommend. Is the food great? It's the same as any other Culver's. You know what you are getting. I'm writing this review based on the 3 young woman who took my order, handled the transaction and delivered it. At every step these teens were doing a clinic on customer service. They were so friendly and considerate. At any other place in Gaylord I feel that I'm annoying the staff with my business. When I got done on my Work Shift on Friday, my sister Jessica and my brother Derrick took me there to get Dinner. The Chicken Sandwich kept my mouth warm through the February winter with the Cheese Curds, so I figured that my hometown is getting an upgrade with the new businesses. Not only do I rarely go to a fast food joint......but almost never write a review on these kinds of places. This place was the exception! It was super busy.....but, the staff is friendly, the restaurant was super clean and the food was very good. Most fast food places haven't a clue how to prepare a piece of fish....they do......hubby had a Beef Sammie and they let me custom a fish platter. I placed my order, was given drink cups to fill & had to wait by many unmasked people for my order. The lobby drink station should be closed. Every time I'm taking a road trip somewhere in Michigan or Wisconsin, I stalk Culver's. We waited a good hour to eat because we were waiting for one to show up on the yelp phone app. LAME! I know. This was my first time at a culvers after seeing them pop up all over the state. I guess I have nothing bad to say for the burgers were good along with the shake and fries combo. Value is definitely there for the agile combo was under $10. In fact the party of four adults was under $40. Food was delivered quickly though they forgot a burger that was done but did not fit on tray so when went up front they did have. Best part that all were impressed the most by was dessert. They have many many to choose from and all reasonably priced. Might not go out of my way, but if in mood someday for dessert or a quick meal this place has made the list. read more

Love the butter burger, fries, mushroom swiss burger, fish sandwich, pot roast sandwich, reuben, and the shakes. Prices are reasonable especially if you buy the Snack-pack deals. By far, the fastest, cleanest, quality to buck ratio...best value for a FAST FOOD restaraunt in Gaylord..... They have choices beyond burgers...chk, salad, corn dogs,, etc..and the kids meal comes with free ice cream! I really enjoy the butter burgers, side salad "side option" and the Culvers rootbeer for 7 bucks! The service is great and the place is clean. The only 2 reason why it doesn't get five stars; the crinkle fries are so lame...remind me of the frozen kind your friends mom made with hotdogs when you spent the night...not cool dude...and the second...just makes me want five guys or in-and-out even more! Poor quality food. Fish was cooked in old oil. Patty melts served were dry (pre cooked?) and were served with a single anemic slice of pickle. When returning bad fish, service staff was agreeable but started giving excuses and cash reimbursement was mashed up. There were also no coffee warm-ups while we were there.
