I've found used Meth pipes just thrown in their boxes of clearance Christmas decor (on the second to last shelf from the floor- where children can very easily reach it!) After I showed an employee, they didn't want to touch it, so they went and got another employee and THEY didn't want to touch it EITHER, so they did the same and FINALLY THREE employees later, one of their plain clothed security employees came and got it for them. ‍ I hate when you come to this store, all their employees treat EVERYONE like they are there to steal from them or something. Like even though you guys get stollen from, etc., doesn't give you the right to just treat everyone like a criminal! You need to have "customer service", which is non-existent at this location unfortunately. I've also been shopping here when there was a boy, who was sitting on the floor of the Gatorade aisle and there were police and Walmart employees blocking each end of the aisles. Well I found out when checking out, that he was seen with a gun in his backpack. Lol. It's so crazy how different Cali is from AZ. This guy didn't even pull the gun out on anyone! It was just SEEN in his backpack and the ENTIRE Irvine Police Department was dispatched to get him! In AZ, EVERYONE has a gun and No on bats an eye. Such a weird experience. I've also seen this man in the electronic section going OFF on this lady about how he was going to kill her for "being in his business" and that she was a stupid so and so and just screaming bloody murder for whatever he was upset about. Threatening ANYONE AND EVERYONE who tried stepping in, getting involved and attempted to calm him down. Then I walked to the front of the store and saw police entering the store, they walked to the back of the store on the left side of the store and as they were doing that, the man came up to the front of the store, but on the right side of the store. Lol. So they missed each other. He started ranting and raving for a second before exiting the store. Lol. I know I've witnessed some other crazy things at this store before, but those are definitely my tops! One time I was ATTEMPTING to get some fabric cut from their fabric section and I had been pushing their "help" button at the fabric desk for LITERALLY 30 minutes! I stopped FIVE different people who ALL said the EXACT same thing to me, "Oh, idk how to do that, let me go find someone for you." Never to be seen again! FINALLY one of the guys at the electronic department saw how frustrated I was getting and said, "You know what, I have NO idea how to do this, but let's figure it out!" And wouldn't you know, it took him about 2 minutes to teach himself! Just prepare yourself, this is the kind of store you will be entering when you shop here. One where they do NOT want to help you, don't care if you spend money there or not, will treat you like you are a criminal and do anything they can think of to get out of actually helping you, their customers! Returning item that I bought at a different. Walmart was such a hassle. The people that work there are so rude.

If I could leave negative number they would be the highest. They don't answer the e phone. Called multiple times that rang and rang. Each call was for 5-7 minutes. I tried another department and the pharmacy picked up. Horrible experience. They should have accountability. I went to two Walmart Supercenter's in one week and can definitely say this location is MUCH better than the other supercenter I visited. It wasn't as crowded which is why I'm giving this location 4/5 stars. This location is fully stocked, the parking lot was being repaved at the time so I had to park by Chase bank, but it was still a close enough walk to the store. The other plus is this store carries fabric which most Walmart's stopped carrying and I couldn't find fabric by the yard at the Santa Ana supercenter. I do Instacart so time is money literally. It wasn't a large order only 21 items. Est time in and out was 33 minutes that includes checking out. I didn't even get in line to checkout until 55 minutes in plus delivery was only 10 minutes away so before I checked out I was already late. I pushed the help 30 times at least. I asked multiple store associates to help no one had keys and each one said they send someone after 20 minutes I went up to the front found what appeared to be 3 supervisors when I told them that no one was coming 1. went right on her phone 2. Rolled her eyes and started walking away 3. Told someone would be coming so I went back and after another 10 minutes I went back to front and found #3 again and said she sent someone but I told her no one had come. Also said there was only 1 set of keys which doesn't make any sense. Someone did finally come. Then checked out which as usual at Walmart slow. Tonight was my first and last visit to this location. What a horror show. I should've known by the fake homeless guys (AKA tweakers with the Homeless--Anything Helps signs) perched out front; the sticky, stuck-together, non-sanitized shopping carts, the way families push and crowd to grab the most items and leave none for others. I felt bad for the cashiers working so tirelessly. I waited nearly half an hour in line to purchase eight items because the do-it-yourself checkstands took just as long AND NOBODY OPENED A MANNED REGISTER FOR TWENTY OR FEWER ITEMS. On a Saturday night when you have easily eighty customers waiting to pay. Utter madness. I'd estimate a 30:70 ratio on mask-wearers:non-masked customers. I didn't see any candidates for People of Walmart's website, unless you count the drug addict and his dopey (pun-intended) girlfriend who ran around shouting repeatedly about "sour cream and onion chips, muthhafuckkkkkaaahs!" Perhaps they were related to the child who screamed bloody murder for twenty minutes. In all, I did find decent prices in the grocery aisle. I also found overpriced yarn, overpriced home-goods, unsatisfactory workout clothes, and picked-over selections. Got to bag my own purchases. Yesterday at 16555 Von Karman Ave, Irvine ca 92606 I experienced a lack of customer service. I needed help at the glass display located in the dog isle. I kept getting the run around with store employees so I decided to call the store directly. I had the associate over the phone call for help over the PA system to come have an associate help with my items and still received no attention. Finally I decided to call the store to come clean up the broken glass in this isle. The associate then called for a clean up on dog isle. STILL NO ATTENTION. There should be more customer service on things like this rather then asking for receipts upon exiting, something UNDER NO LAW DO WE HAVE TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUEST. There were no fucks given from customer associates at this location. NONE. And get this I tried to complain on the corporate website only to find out that IT made sure that nobody could complain on the website there's no way of going further to complain absolutely none f*** Walmart. read more

I couldn't find a shopping cart (outside or inside) & saw an elderly lady just as confused, practically getting pushed out of the way by the foot traffic of people. Came in on a Saturday to pick up some items. I grabbed a cart and then went to clean it. I got scolded by the greeter saying they already cleaned the carts and that he'll do it. When i left i noticed the carts being dropped off is the designated area, none were being cleaned or about to be cleaned. So regardless my scolding i will always clean my cart when i grab it. I never write reviews and here I am. They definitely have a cart issue. I've had to walk all the way back out and search for a cart in the parking lot to bring in and use. And it's not a lack of carts, it's that they don't have anybody bringing them back from the cart return because that's where they're all puled and stored I guess. Second, customer service needs help. Today I asked for help from 3 employees who all pretty much told me to ask someone else because they didn't want to check if an item was in stock. This location is the exact reason why Walmart has such a bad rep when it comes to their employees. I came in to return an item from an online order and had my barcode ready. I was advised by the very rude Isabel that the item is non returnable. I asked why if I was able to initiate the return through the app? She couldn't answer me I asked for a manager. He seemed dazed and confused. Like he was either on meds or just woke up from a nap. He said that the item was already returned. I laughed and said if it was returned it would say RETURNED as the status. These two were completely laughable with their so called customer service skills Isabel then said she can do a non receipt return (again, I HAD my receipt as I purchased online) and I told her I didn't bring my ID as I didn't expect it to be needed. She then asked me for my passport! Management is the WORST at this location. Staff doesn't really care much about organizing and keeping the place clean. No Leadership to guide and motive staff. This place isn't a Membership Only store so why is there a staff at the exit harassing you and anyone leaving for receipts instead of being helpful around the store. read more

I visited the store a day before and although I could see on the Walmart app that the item I needed was available in this location, but no one could find it. Aime took the extra time, found the item in the supply / storage of the store, and managed to bring it down from a pile of boxes in there. How many associates does it take to ask for help to access to (2) $4.96 bike tubes? A total of 5 in the whole process. First 2 associates walked by me and said they didn't have keys then sort of just kept walking. Third associate called over someone on the phone to the bike section which is when an associate and team lead finally showed. The team lead wouldn't even let me walk 2 bike tubes to the front on my own. I work in retail and normally only higher end items such as electronics or alcohol fall under this category of walking them to the registers. read more

She said and I quote: "ugh, I hate those bags." I was a little taken back but her comment, proceeded to let it slide. While she proceeded to shove all the large items into my small bag, and shoving all the tiny items into the larger bag. I decided to take some tortillas and gently fold them in half into the tinier bag. So they would fit. Where she proceeded to give me crap for "squishing the tortillas." I'm sorry, are these your groceries? Last I checked, I'm the customer, why are you acting like a Karen to me? Also I seem to recall, tortillas are folded anyways. I have never seen such a messy store before, but this place takes the cake. Are your vendors refusing to ship you products? So many missing items, out of stock or hidden in boxes. I even had to search for plastic produce bags. I found one lonely roll laying in a box in the back of the produce section. I did them a favor by placing multiple items in the same bag from which the cashier had to remove so she could scan them.
