I love this location, it's over crowded NOT ENOUGH PARKING FOR HANDI-CAPPED PATRONS. The employees seem to do a good job, competition is stuff where they are. They have HEB, Kroger's, Randel's, Target, ALDI, so many many more... So this is a bargain hunters paradise, you can get better prices here, much better services on most days, weekend forget, holidays too. They have the store greeters, to ask where are things and more variety I think here. I have been there twice after moving to katy. I don't find Walmart affordable for food stuff or everyday items. In fact their prices are comparable to heb! I rather purchase at heb because of the variety. The workers in the garden center are the bomb! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful... but some of the customers are grumpy! Yesterday I was in line and a customer was discussing prices with the cashier. A lady behind me said in a loud voice to take the conversation somewhere else. So rude. After their ceiling was ripped off during hurricane Ike, they remodeled and it shows. It looks much more inviting than most Walmarts and has an almost Target feel to it. Other than that? It is Walmart. The home of cheaply made items made to last for less than a year so you have to go back and spend more money at Walmart! Joy! The only sections I visit are the houseware sections. The electronics section is total crap. The groceries? If you like your refrigerated and frozen food left out all night, then go right ahead (don't believe me - go at 5 a.m. and you'll see). read more

My girlfriend and I were looking for a cosmetic eye cream and we located it at Walmart. Parking lot was packed and the store was busy. We found the eye cream without any problems. We went to the pet section next and we were assisted by an associate, who was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. We checked out without any issues. We went to the self checkout and there was no wait at all. The store was clean and everything that was on our list was found without any problems. read more

Decent place for a Wal-Mart. Found some great shorts for the summer at less than 10 bucks! Always low on checkers, though. I also don't like that they close the fittings rooms early. Not a fan of Wal-Mart, because of the whole China stuff, but when I need something quick or cheap, it's a reliable source. I prefer Kroger for groceries, though. read more

After a horrible experience at Conn's, we came here to buy my wife an instant camera.. We did not know wich fiml the camera required so we met with Employee Khris from the electronics department. Khris went out of his way to find us the correvt film for this camera going to the isles to find it for us.. not to mention he uses a cane to walk, he also googled for us making sure it was the right film. This location was nice. Clean. Got supplies I needed. Had a question and the manager was very nice and helpful. One thing was over zealous parking security. I was back at my vehicle using my phone after purchase and the guy came up banging on my window. Shouldn't ever touch my vehicle. Said what are you doing here? I told him I made a purchase and was on my phone. He told me "you make a purchase and then you leave." Eventually he left me alone. I wasn't bothering anyone. I guess there's nothing going on for him, but for sure don't appreciate him knocking on my vehicle and honestly feel like he shouldn't go pressing people not bothering anyone. Customer Service here is at an all time low. The workers here are extremely slow, unprofessional and not helpful at all. The employees of Walmart here are too lade back and does not care about the customer needs. The parking lots are always pack/jammed during the day and at late night it is way easier to find a decent parking spot. If your here at this location and your not sure of what you want to buy? Look it up online, because if you go here without knowing what you want? You will be sh*t out of luck!!! read more

I just left this Walmart to get a tire put on and the guy told me that he couldn't do it because their systems are down but ALL the bay doors are open in TLE..so I recommended him to close them if they can't work on cars....I just think he didn't want to do it!! read more

Came here for the first time Saturday nite and it was horrific! The staff was more concerned about stocking the store instead of helping me. Half the staff didn't speak English, the other half didn't seem to care. One register was opened and the lines were dragging. Usually a clean place, but sometimes it's not well cleaned. The management are very rude, specifically, Latita and Cher. I used to work there, but even now that I don't, they're rude to me and others. The produce isn't the freshest and the departments are almost always messy. read more

This is in regards to the worker named Fidel. I was shopping for my veggies. I could not find my purple cabbage, this was the second time, I could not find it. My daughter was like, mom, just give it up, maybe they don't sell it here. I told her, no. I always find it. It's just it's not here again. So, I asked a worker there named Fidel that was putting away some veggies. Wow!! This guy bent over backwards to search for it. He went and checked and said, no we ran out of it. Then, I was in the produce section and then he was searching for me to tell me, he had found green cabbage. So, I said, that is fine, I will take that one. Then I kept shopping. And 10 minutes later, he saw me and said, we just got our new stock of veggies in. Here is your purple cabbage. I just wish more employees were like him. You don't see these kind of employees anymore. You only see the lazy kind that give you a (What do you want?! You are bothering me stare.) Or a duh, I don't know. And just leave you there. This review is only regarding the Vision Center, in particular the service rep named Blessing. My son needed glasses and unbeknownst to Blessing, we had previously visited 4 other vision stores in the area to no avail. We only stopped in to frame/price shop. Blessing immediately greeted us, let us peruse the frames and sat us down to show us line by line the various packages, makers and cost to get the best deal that fit my son's prescription. Blessing was extremely helpful, very informative and ultimately the main reason I finally purchased from here. My son finally settled on a pair he loved and I signed on the dotted line. We gave Blessing a hi-five and were on our way. While they don't have the widest selection, and they were the second most expensive of the 5 stores, it was the quality of service and knowing exactly where my money was being spent. I would highly recommend visiting Blessing if you need to buy a pair. Of glasses that is. :) read more

This Walmart sucks. We have always gone to Walmart to shop but this one is the all time worst one. I have worked at a Walmart before and we used to have competitions to see who the fastest checker was. Here it's like they're having a competition to see who the slowest one is. I'm sorry, I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to spend all freakin day in Walmart. Especially when your faster at getting your groceries, or whatever, then they are checking you out. And most of the checkers don't even great you or smile. Management or something needs to change. If you don't like your job get a new one. Rant over. read more

Avoid during the day and evening and most of the morning. So really the best time to shop there is between 4 and 7 am, but the cashiers who work overnight are even more lackadaisical. The prices are the cheapest but thats about it. I'd rather pay an extra $10 than to get stuck behind the woman with ads from 10 different stores and a thousand coupons. read more

I on May 9 2012 asst mgr Jeffery and Mgr Ester from customer service closed the money center down at 8:30 pm thirty minutes early due to lack of employers Ester was very rude and as a mgr she did not explain why and and neither awknowledged the fact that it was still 10 mins in which they could've opened the money center so money grams could be received she had an attitude like she didn't want to be there and Jeffery blew me off like "oh well too bad" that was poor service and I think if someone call and asks what time the money center closes do give a specific time if it closes at 9 pm close at 9 pm walmart needs to train their mgrs in customer service better or put someone in position that can do the job or hire people that will actually work their shift! read more
