I'm a truck driver and I've been to almost every Walmart on the east coast and this Walmart is by far the worst Walmart i have ever been to. I have not been in this Walmart for a couple of years because it is super Ghetto! But I decided to go yesterday to see if things have changed and of course not. Two customers got into it with a Walmart worker. All you heard was the customer cursing at the top of her lungs and mind you this all happened in the kids toy aisle. After this experience I will never visit this store location again. I suggest they get police officers stationed at this store. read more

I go there because the particular cat litter I use is always in stock as is the car & dog food I use. The grocery side is pretty good. I've always found everything I need. Also, I primarily stuck to this side of the store. And, I use the self check out with no problems. I've only experienced a long line twice, and I'm in and out in 30 minutes (shopping/check out time). I also go during regular business hours and have never been there super early in the morning. Very satisfied with the store and have always been greeted both when going in as well as when leaving. read more

It's Walmart. I can't say much but I came here with a friend who didn't have a car and wanted to get some stuff because she had moved. It's obviously crowded, huge, and sells basically everything. Isn't Walmart supposed to be cheap? All their greeting cards were almost $5...Wtf!? Anyways come here if you please but avoid it if you are claustrophobic. Then to add insult to injury when talking to an agent today she said I had a signature in file, who signed for it, did you check the signature, who did you give my package to. I love Walmarts when I can get to one. I was in the area and on my way home I saw the Walmart sign and happily went in. There wasnt anything particular I needed I just wanted to browse the aisles and look for any great deals. This was the first walmart I was in and out in a hurry. To be fair, there was a lot of renovations going on but the store in general was messy and disorganized. I would definitely drive further for a cleaner store. read more

This place is always super busy. Maybe because it is the only Walmart in my area. People fight over parking and sometimes you cannot get a shopping cart. The lines at check out wrap around the store and this is with having ample cashiers on. Employees are never friendly and don't really want to help. So if you need help finding anything you will be ON YOUR OWN. On the upside it's Walmart so the prices are pretty good. read more

This is the worst store (of any kind) that I have ever been to. Our cashier turned the flashing light on, looking for help from her manager, Jackie. Jackie ignored us for over 25 minutes. When I went to the customer service desk, some other obviously disinterested employee rudely told me that Customer Service was closed and I should try again tomorrow morning. I suspect that I wouldn't find any customer service from the management at this store, even if I did come back tomorrow. Serves me right for being too lazy to drive to Target. read more

This store is the worst!!! First of all I avoid going there as a whole. Never enough cashiers. Then I say "hey let me place an online order and pick it up"... that fails. They cancel my order when all the items are in stock. So I call and I kid you not I waited hours!!! Tried over and over again and didn't get a response!!! It's the night before I leave for vacation, and I need some travel necessities... I was able to find my travel size toothpaste and toothbrush and some razors, no such luck with contact cleaner. Asked a guy for assistance, then he took off and never came back. I get it, it's busy. Ask a second person if I'm looking in the right spot for contact cleaning solution... "If it's not there, we don't have it!" "So you don't carry it or you're out of stock?" "If it's not there we don't have it!" Ok... I go to check out and there's 26 registers with maybe 1/4 of them open. Took me almost 15 minutes in the "speedy checkout line" before a customer service rep told us that they were closing the register and we had to go to another line. Walmart needs more employees on a Saturday night, and their CSRs need a little more customer service training. I'll hit up Target in Clifton next time, thanks. read more

worse experience at this location , sign was up for a car seat priced at $29.95, Management told me car seat was really priced at 129.95 the number 1 had fell off and I wasn't entitled to the price that was displayed. One Supervisor told me he can only take 20% off original price then I asked to speak to a higher manager & she proceeded to say there was nothing that can be done for the error . I asked for there Store manager or District manager and the store manager informed me that he was only able to take $3 off as per NJ State Law in witch I never heard of before . I didn't think it was possible but this trip was worse than the last. I had to go BACK to customer service because last time they charged me twice for single item. The woman was beyond rude basically screamed in my face for a manager when I told her what I needed then didn't say a word and walked away, when the guy came over he barely said anything while refunding me. The customer service was deplorable after waiting in line for at least 25 minutes they are beyond rude and make you feel like an inconvenience. I was grossed out by the fact that there were numerous fresh refrigerated items like milk, eggs and raw chicken sitting out waiting to be put back on the shelf. The lines are always long and when we found a short one the cashier yelled at us twice that the guy in front of us with her last customer. We go there because its open 24 hours but I will from now on wait and travel the extra distance to the secaucus location! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I go here all the time because my Grandparents live near there, I'm only giving it 2 stars because I'm very angry and upset that the woman that was working the fitting room treated me like I was stealing. I have never stolen anything in my life, she asked me 5 times how many clothes I had to try on. The last 4 times she asked she had a very rude tone in her voice, but every single time she asked how many clothes I had to try on I answered her very clearly. This Wal-Mart is not for the faint of heart. I just saw a van hit a cart & the cart hit the back of a car. There are many challenges here from the front end managers who seem overwhelmed to the unruly customers. It is not uncommon to see irate customers fighting each other here. This is probably the worst place I'm forced to go to at times. No one ever answers the phone number listed online as the main number. They never have enough cashiers so expect to wait in line a good long time. Forget about if you have a question, because most times, employees don't have the answer, are too busy talking to each other, or just cant be bothered with you, the customer.
