I noticed that this Walmart has a low rating here on Yelp, but I truly like this Walmart. I have an option to shop at the local HEB and any other two Walmarts near by, but choose to go here. This Walmart is organized and has a good flow. Even when they are extremely busy, it doesn't take a long time to check out. I actually stop going to the HEB in Kyle and shop this Walmart instead unless because of HEB chaos and longer than neccessary time to check out compared to this Walmart. Each time that I went in there, the staff has been wonderful. Especially during the holidays. My husband is deployed and I was really down. I went into this Walmart Christmas eve and the spirit of the place and the workers really made me feel good. A worker name Ron is amazing. He's always working and just seems really proud and happy to be there. Seeing that makes a difference. The bad thing is that you have to wait awhile to get cosmetics. So don't be in a hurry if you want makeup . In all, I think people have unfairly judged this place and its wonderful employees. read more

I do not recommend the Auto Service Center. Lack of leadership was obvious. Personnel goofed off more than worked, to include a coach who went outside smoking and joking with her boyfriend for quite some time. Was told a flat fix would not take long and yet we were there over three hours for a simple patch job. I highly recommend getting your car serviced elsewhere. Another customer harassed me at the checkout. She walked over to my checkout screen to look at the amount I was paying. She stood where I was supposed to stand to pay the entire time. Then when I'm finishing loading things into my cart she stood right next to my cart. Her waist was two inches away from my cart handle bar. I had to ask her to move and she acted shocked. I told her she had been rude the whole time, and she acted like nothing happened. I have a chronic physical disability and have ptsd from people (usually men) harassing me in public. The fact that the manager blew me off and that I had to cry in my car feeling like I don't matter after being a long time customer of this store. I should be able to shop without being harassed. I don't harass other people when I shop, so I expect the same towards me. Jacob, one of the managers, made me feel like I was silly and didn't matter. I'm not gonna shop at Walmart ever again. I came here because I needed something that would be hard to ship. After shopping here I realized that it is incredible that they are still in business. With all the on-line competitors doing a much better job at customer service, I'm shocked that there are so many people still in here shopping. What did it for me is when I went to pay for the three things I needed to buy. There were twenty cash register aisles but only one was being staffed. The line was incredibly long with very unhappy families. However, the "self-service" had four people trying to train people to become their own cashier. It blows my mind that Walmart is trying to remove any customer service in the age of on-line shopping carts. The typical shopping cart is very easy and there is a HUGE on-line company that does it extremely well and ships FAST. Instead, I spend a crazy amount of time tracking down what I want, can't find any help, and have to cash myself out with a terrible interface. Boy, I should have just stayed home and waited 24-48 hours to have it delivered if I'm going to be my own cashier. read more

The last couple of visits have been just ok. I've been going to this Walmart ever since they opened. I get all of my car and trucks oil and filters from here. There isn't another store that can beat their oil prices. Super tech is their brand of oil that I use and it's contracted out for manufacturing. It's usually a well known named but branded just for Walmart. Lately, they have been out of my motorcraft oil filters and oil weight that I use.. The employees there obviously aren't paid well, but the ones I have asked questions have gone out of their way and assisted. One employee made a recommendation of a particular Krylon rattle spray paint that was a little extra. I restore an outdoor Texas style yard ornament for my mom that came out great. The store in general has too much traffic to keep clean. The produce is much to be desired for and way too expensive for the condition they are in. A lot of the produce should be thrown away since they are rotting on the shelf and contain nats. Anyone that posts over 2 stars must be a Walmart employee and/or a family member. Shelves are empty half the time. I asked an employee there this morning if they were going out of business. Produce is GARBAGE. Never enough registers open, you're just stuck with scanning your own stuff unless you feel like standing in line for a half-hour. Oh my god the list goes on and on as to why it's the worst shopping experience in the area. One. Jesus Christ- the amount of screaming children in that place. It's impossible to walk in the doors and not hear a meltdown at one or more places in the store. Two. The makeup and skin care are locked up and it takes 20 minutes to get an employee to open them up for you. Three. Scanning and bagging your own shit and not getting a discount for the work you put in, is absolute BS. There's maybe one checker actually working and the rest just stand there and awkwardly stare at you while you do their job. Likely laughing on the inside because they're paid to literally do nothing but watch their customers work for them. Four. Their produce! It's literally always a day away from molding/rotting. It's disgusting. Every time I get home with produce it rots pretty much within 24 hours. Well, besides the avocados because they're never even close to ripe and hard as a rock. Five. It stinks like rotten onions/pineapples very often. It's foul. Six. I bought blueberry muffins for my blind son there that were supposed to be "fresh" and according to the expiration date, they were. The next morning, I went to give him one and thank goodness I was paying close attention as you have to after buying ANYTHING perishable from there, because the top of the muffin that I thought was the whitish crumble/streusel stuff was actually patches of freaking mold. Disgusting. Seven. On the weekend, it's next to impossible to walk through the parking lot or in the front door without being badgered to donate money to an organization or to whoever's car conveniently ran out of gas. Eight. The self checkouts are ALWAYS wonky. Always need approval for the dumbest things like garlic. The belts on the ones that have them conveniently stop working too. Nothing better than having to scan, bag, deal with constantly needing approval, and then having to manually keep sliding your groceries down the belt. Nine: There are always bits of bone shards in their ground beef/pork mixture. Literally ALWAYS. Agh it's infuriating! There's pretty much nothing convenient or pleasant about using this store. I stopped by this Walmart this morning around 8:30 am. I was really pleased with what I saw. I have not been happy with Walmarts use of the self checkout machines. Many times when I would visit in the past they were the only thing available( no people cashiers). Today was different. The store was clean, and the employees were busy restoking shelves..etc... I observed 3 or 4 employees asking customers if they could help them. There were 2 ladies working the front cash registers( actual people!!!). I am really happy to see the store looking so good. Today was was reprimanded and SCREAMED at by a very young male employee for accidentally stepping in a puddle of water on the floor. It made no sense to me and was totally bizarre. I was caught off guard being screamed at by someone young enough to by my son. I'm a super easy to get along with person and give anyone the benefit of the doubt but this was kooky dooks. The store manager Juan needs to be looked into! He's extremely unprofessional and rude. He's just making up his own rules and talks to customers horribly! I was denied a product because he wants to make is own rules but when I asked where it says that on Walmarts policy he wants to be beyond rude and yell "ITS MY STORE AND I MAKE UP THE RULES" . I wish there was a rating even worse than 1 because this is the worst customer service ever!!!! I took my car in to get a new battery and they told me it would take 3 hours because their short handed. I wasn't happy about it but it is what it is so I left my car there and when 7:30 rolled around, I got worried because the app says my car is in service. I called... the automotive dept is closed. The person on the line said hold on and I waited and waited and waited 15 min. and got disconnected. I called the main number and started telling them the problem and suddenly was disconnected again, Hmmmm! Called again, and it rang and rang when suddenly a manager answered and very pleasantly said he was on the other end of the store but would run over there and see what was going on. He came back and said it was being finished and that the auto dept is closed but they are finishing up my car. At least there is one person at Walmart that cares about customer service. read more

I was at my home and looked in my cabinet where I keep my food and saw nothing. I went to a near by local grocery store and prices were too high so I set off to the trashy old Wally World. I had been holding a dump so bad. Probably because I had eaten Taco Bell for lunch and had some leftover chipotle after. I knew this would be a mistake. I quickly ran to the stall and noticed something odd. There were no urinals. Didn't think much of it and then I sit on the pot and grunt and groan in agony and pain of what I have put myself through. Then I noticed heels from the stall I was in. I HAD GONE IN THE WOMANS RESTROOM! I panicked so much as I tried to realize what had happened. Review is basically for grocery pickup (store is meh overall). This service falls way short of HEB curbside and Shipt. Delayed delivery and lack of customer service. They were running an hour behind and I only saw one person delivering items out to vehicles (spots were beyond full). Had I had the option to completely cancel my entire order and ship for it myself, it would have been faster! I ordered ink for my printer at home and work. My husband was in line for a spot for about 1/2 an hour and then waited in the spot after calling and stating that he was their and waited for another hour. People where pulling up to the door for pick up and got their orders unlike those that that had been waiting. About 7 others also waited for an hour for their stuff. I ended up canceling the order due to it taking that long. I get y'all where understaffed, but damn that's not cool and unprofessional as I've worked customer service for 15 years and have worked plenty of times understaffed and was never like that. I'm taking fat food over night on a Saturday with only 1 person working both grills, one doing drive thru, and one dine in and got all orders out but one in under 5mins. Just called to see if their dressing rooms are open because I needed a dress for my backyard wedding because we couldn't get married at our venue until next year due to COVID19. Walked up to the register to purchase 2 adult size beanies and two kids sets that include scarf, beanie and gloves one that was batman and the other was avengers. At the register they rang up at 9.97 in which they should have been 4.97 according to the rack that a bunch of them sat on. Cashier holds everyone up to get price check which I offer I can take a picture if you like in which I was ignored. They call over a women named Lisa she scans the items looks at me and says they are 9.97 not on sale. So now I have to take her to the rack in which she is racing me to the rack she see's she's in the wrong right away but you think Lisa is done there and apologizes for the inconvenience NOPE Lisa calls over four associates to scold them right in front of me on the sales floor like I'm not even there. Then says the customer can have one at the price but he's paying full price on the other one once again like I'm not even standing there after hearing Lisa bash these girls work ethic and not honoring the price I walked out empty handed. Lisa you wasted my time, you wasted the lady waiting behind me time, you told me the customer they were wrong even though you were clearly wrong all for what a total of $10 dollars. My assumption Lisa has more bad days then good days. 1. pay attention to which customer you're helping. 2. If you're in the wrong learn to admitted it 3. Don't blame your associates for your mistake. (especially on the sales floor in front of customers) 4. Keep your registers moving 5. Learn to apologize for your own mistakes. read more

This is by far the best Walmart I've been to. The selection is way superior to any in Austin. I have been able to find items easily that are so difficult to find in Austin. Some items I am unable to get in Austin period. It's always clean and very organized. Kudos for the level of organization. The workers are so friendly all of the time. This Walmart and my sleep physician, Dr. Kalpesh Patel, are the only 2 things I will miss of Kyle when I stop working in this city. I hope you never change Kyle Walmart!! This review is only for the Tire & Lube department; I went in a 4:15pm on a Sunday for an oil change and waited in line for 15 minutes while the employee working the counter, Josh, rudely spoke to his coworker who offered to help him by saying "I've got this, chill!" He clearly needed help as he was the only one at the counter with three people in line. Then I was told they aren't taking any more customers for the day because he "already has three tickets" and they close at 6pm. Maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that closing at 6 meant taking customers until 6. I could understand if it was 5:30 and you not wanting to take any more, but not an hour and a half before closing? Very poor customer service. read more

Seems this Walmart is making up their own rules. I came into the store August 15 @ 6:30pm and they had customer service closed. I came in to a simple return and I saw a couple workers behind the counter not acknowledging us. They eventually came close enough for us to ask them if I can make a return and they said that it was closed but gave us no other options for returning. We asked to speak to the manager and he said that because there "was a lot of people" in the store that they had to close customer service even though there were groups of employees that could have easily have jumped behind the counter and processed our return. The manager even told us to go to the Walmart 10 minutes down the road. Seems super weird for a Walmart that is a multi-million dollar corporation. The customer service we received at this Walmart location was terrible. The managers and employees are following their own rules and not putting the customer first. 0 star rating! read more
