This place needs to work on their inventory control. I placed an order for five shirts. They shipped out of Chino, California. Then I got a message saying they were delayed. Then I got a message saying the order was canceled and I would get a refund. This has happened several times before, so I placed the exact same order after my order was canceled by Walmart. It was shipped out of the same place, Chino, and I received the exact same items the next day. read more

Went in after 8:30 tonight and noticed there were three security personnel standing next to the McDonald's, just yammering. Shopped, making my way toward the back of the store, and noticed a trio of young adult males walking around, eating and drinking things they'd taken from the shelves. I really liked the vibe of this Store location, I went to do a Pick Up order just recently, and I took a neighbor along with me. So, just out of boredom I decided to go inside the store, with her riding on their Scooters just looking around. I don't do Walmart a whole lot? (Only except for Over the Counter stuff, which they don't charge a pick up fee for) But seeing some of their stuff...was surprisingly very low priced? I actually picked up a six pack of cold Margarita bottles that ended up being pretty good, actually? This store is quite large, and very well stocked. My boyfriend and I have been coming to your store on Boulder Hwy and Nellis for years without incident until yesterday April 5, 2026, We had about 16 or 17 items in our cart at Self Check Out and we noticed other customers in the area with a lot more in their carts over the 15 item limit using the checkout machines. As time was of the essence, and we did not feel like waiting at the regular checkout lanes for half an hour in line, we figured that 2 items over the limit should not be a big deal----WRONG! The girl who was working the SCO area, rudely told us that we had to get another cart and ring them up separately and proceeded to LOCK the register we were using to prevent us from finishing our transaction. We explained that other people were using the machines who had a lot more than the 15 item limit without being told this. She would not make any accommodations to get us another cart, nor would she release the machine for us to use and be on our way. We left the cart there and sought out the manager on duty who merely said that she would "speak" to the girl who we dealt with and that was it, Nothing else was offered. Guaranteed we will not be returning to that store--ever. We will take our business elsewhere where we will be treated with respect and appreciation. read more

March 25, 2026 To Walmart Leadership, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding an unacceptable experience at your Boulder Highway location (Store #3350) on March 26, 2026. I visited the store with a student from UNLV, where I serve in an administrative role. After selecting our items, we proceeded to checkout and patiently waited our turn. At the register, I clearly stated that we would be using a tax-exempt card. The cashier indicated she was unfamiliar with the process and appropriately offered to call a manager. What followed, however, was entirely unacceptable. When the manager arrived, I again stated that we had a tax-exempt card. Without hesitation or any effort to assist, she dismissively responded that the store does not accept such cards--an assertion that is simply incorrect. When I calmly explained that the store does accept tax-exempt transactions and asked her to seek assistance if she was unsure, she became increasingly unhelpful, argumentative, and dismissive. Rather than resolving the issue, she wasted our time and showed no initiative to provide proper customer service. I then requested to speak with the store manager. After receiving no meaningful assistance, I was forced to locate him myself, despite having seen him in the store moments earlier. When I approached him, he used his radio to instruct the front-end staff to process the transaction--something that could and should have been handled immediately by his team. Unfortunately, the situation escalated further when another employee emerged from the office and contributed to the confusion rather than resolving it. It was only when a different associate--someone who recognized me as a UNLV employee--stepped in that we were finally assisted and able to complete our purchase. This entire interaction was not only frustrating but deeply upsetting. The behavior displayed by your management staff was rude, condescending, and dismissive. Based on how we were treated--particularly after it was clear who we were and why we were making a tax-exempt purchase--I cannot ignore the strong impression that bias played a role in this interaction. There was absolutely no justification for the tone, resistance, and lack of professionalism we experienced. No customer should ever feel disrespected, dismissed, or humiliated while attempting to make a purchase. My student and I left the store feeling shaken and disheartened by the experience. This is not just poor customer service--it reflects a serious breakdown in leadership, training, and accountability. Experiences like this are exactly what drive customers away. We entered your store intending to spend money; your staff, particularly those in leadership roles, made that unnecessarily difficult and unpleasant. I strongly urge you to reflect on what kind of customer experience your business is truly prioritizing. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. Shout out to Kevin! The world needs more people like him. I was passing through this Walmart, while there I clumsily dropped/lost my money. This gentleman was cleaning the floor in the isle I was in, he approached and asked me "Did I lose money?" I told him "I didn't think so". He asked me to check... and I did. He was right! I told him the exact amount down to the bills. I told him it's ok and that someone probably needed it more than me! I thanked him then continued shopping. Absolute worst service I have ever experienced from any Walmart. I have two stories from this location, so bear with me. The first story is pretty short. Buddy of mine and I went to go get a fishing license for the day. Went to the outdoor counter and rang the service bell. No one came. We had several employees walk by, look at us and leave. I literally started spamming the button. Even stopped a few employees and they just radioed for someone to come over, but left. We waited 45 minutes before just leaving to another location. The second story irritated me so much it prompted me to finally write a review on how absolute incompetent and all around just trash this location is. I went in after work to get a new tire placed on a rim. I didn't even need it put on a car. I would do that myself. I went up to the automotive counter and started the process; I asked what the ETA would be and the lady behind the counter said an hour and a half, maybe sooner. Now that task itself is a 5 to 10 minute job at most. I know because we do it at my work for RV's, but given I am a walk-in, I accepted the time frame and walked the store to kill time. I ended up finding a TV on sale for my sister and went to go check out. No joke, after paying for the TV, 6 employees attempted to take the anti-theft device off while many others stood around like it was some side show. After about 10 - 15 minutes of watching them struggle, I ask if I could try as I have experience with those devices from a previous job. It took me 10 seconds to get it off with their magnet. I was annoyed at this, but at the same time it was slightly funny as I became famous amongst the employees the remainder of my wait there. Fast forward to the end of my wait of an hour and a half. I walk up to the counter to ask on the progress of my tire. The guy behind the counter looks up my info and tells me I'm still in queue as they still have appointments ahead of me. Irritation rising from hearing they have just been pushing my turn at the bottom of the list for such a quick task, I asked how much longer. Without completely insulting the man's intelligence, he looked like I inconvenienced him by asking him to do something unrelated to his job and out of no where. He runs to the back and comes back with a mechanic. The mechanic looks at the tablet with the list of people waiting and says an hour maybe hour and a half. The original guy proceeds to turn towards me like I didn't hear the mechanic and say looking at two hours or more. To censor my words a bit, I told the man to give me back my tire. As much as I would have loved to rip the location a new one asking for a manager, I am unfortunately not a confrontational person. I took my tire and walked out. Ended up going to Pepboys who had way better customer service skills. I have no idea if even writing this review will even do anything in changing their lack of customer service. In my opinion, that location needs an overhaul on management and hold the employees accountable for the quality of performance or absence of. In summary, if you need more service than buying bread at the self checkout, go anywhere else. read more

The McDonald's that's in the store the employees were very rude and I kept saying "excuse me " and I was getting unheard until my fiancée had to yell excuse me after me asking several times a security officer got smart with us for no reason all we were doing was asking for a cup of water because it's 110 degrees outside. My daughter used my Walmart+ app on my phone to scan her $225 order and used my card that's on file and was accused not purchasing the items. The older woman wasn't checking her scanner. A middle age woman stocking by the register also added her comments like she was from the peanut gallery. No wonder so many people don't use Walmart. I use the pickup service at the Boulder and Nellis location for several of my shopping needs. I find it difficult sometimes because they don't always answer the phone to allow me to check in. Lately the service has been consistently bad. I have to wait for someone to come out and help another customer so I can check in. The value of waiting is becoming less and less efficient, so I'm beginning to be forced to go in the store more and more. I appreciate that they get busy but management needs to get their employees on board to answer their phones for a smoother customer platform. Typically I enjoy shopping inside this superstore so for inside I would rate them a strong 4.5 but the pickup area has gone way down hill. So I rate the outside at a 2. Came in for an oil change and was greeted by Jodie and tech was getting my info when he ask me to hold and was talking to another previous customer and waited after waiting for over 5 min Jodie started chatting with other tech's and I'm there waiting and after a while I figured he forgot about me I flagged him down and he came over and said "oh I forgot about you" I said it's OK. This Walmart is located right off Boulder Hwy near Sam's Town Casino. Easy to find and get in and out of. Plenty of parking! They have cold a/c in the summer and heat that works in the winter!! They do keep it clean and there are always employees walking around stocking. Unfortunately due to the location several items are under lock and key. I understand the why but it can be inconvenient for the rest of us. So just be aware of that when coming here. The store is normally well stocked. If you come on a holiday or near a holiday weekend, it's like every other Walmart, items might be low. So plan ahead. read more

I picked up a online order. I arrived at 4:38 PM. I did not get my order until 5:12 PM. I spoke several times to Barb, trying to find out why my order was taking to long. It was 2 items. She kept mispronouncing my name and thought it was funny, when I requested to speak to the manager, Barb said I had to come to the door that the delivery people come out of...as I was getting ready to do that, a young man, Caucasian, dark curly hair, delivered it. When I asked him what took so long, he was rude and said "do you see all these cars?" If the employees don't care about the customers, they should just say so. Walmart near the airport on Eastern Avenue. Shopping here for over 5 years and recently got there at 6 am. Unfortunately, what I witnessed was over a dozen employees just sitting around the front area by 7 am doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. There were zero registers open for check out and a long line at self checkout for two open checkout stations. The lazy employees sitting there doing nothing and I was informed someone from the customer service desk would be opening up the cashier checkout. Hallelujah! Not so fast. It took me asking several employees when the cashier was coming. One employee answered with a rude comment and I didn't even respond to her ignorance. It was too early in the morning to address such nonsense! So, finally I found the store manager and one of the cashiers opened up one checkout station and I finally got the job done. Still watching those lazy employees just standing around doing Absolutely Nothing. I should not have to go to the store manager just to get a cashier to check out my purchases. Just unacceptable!! The Walmart Supercenter is set up like most other supercenters. It is clean with a deli & grocery on one end and pharmacy/home goods on the other. I'm not a big fan of Walmart (lowering quality of things for a cheap price) but in this small town, you go different places to find different things. Hubs was looking for a certain pressure washer that allowed soap to be added and I was looking for a couple items not found at my grocery store. The deli is very clean, hot food like chicken bites (tasty) real hot and deli meat & cheese with salads look clean and neat. The produce is good quality with lots of variety but won't stock bean sprouts (?) or the usual veggies & fruit-although they do not stock the more unusual shishito peppers (nor had they heard of them when I asked). The food looks fresh-which is nice. They stocked ripe pomegranates which is great because they are the ripe & tasty ones-which was awesome! The watermelon has been really good this year! The stock was pretty good and one of the staff working produce was helpful helping me find some items. I'm not a big fan of Wally World but I do end up here more often because they have many items that are useful. This time we found a 3" gel infused mattress topper that worked great in our trailer. read more

Being in the Christmas and Holidays Season it is common to hear the word "Walmart." Walmart is currently the largest retailer in the world. The Largest Retailer in the World has a huge presence in the Largest Entertainment Capital of the World. This very Walmart Supercenter located at the Nellis, Boulder, and Harmon triangle across from Sam's Town has a huge presence on the East Side of Las Vegas. It serves a very large and diverse market covering the East Side, North Henderson, and parts of North Las Vegas from the furthest northern reaches of the Nellis Air Force Base into Green Valley to the south. This market also includes the easternmost reaches of Las Vegas to Wetlands Park and Sunrise Mountain and to Paradise and Downtown at the west. This is a high customer vokume. Adding to the customer volume are some that had shopped at the abandoned Walmart Supercenter at Nellis and Craig.    Unfortunately some of the areas in the large market that this Walmart Supercenter serves have pockets of high problem. Whether it is justified or not East Las Vegas has the perception of including some higher crime areas. My argument is that crime can happen anywhere. My argument is also that crime has happened right inside this Walmart. That is shoplifting crime. The last time that I shopped here it was alarming seeing all of the merchandise that are locked up. I have frequented this location since it opened around 2006, and have never seen so much of the merchandise on lock down. The merchandise where you have to track an associate to open a locked down case then follow them to a register include an aisle in hardware, the battery cube, the Mio, Tide, razors, Lego, and other areas. Another consequence of high shoplifting has been the elimination of the 24/7 hours.   When shopping here, it is one of the few times that I feel compassion for Walmart. They are obviously taking a beating from shoplifting to resort to these measures and took a knockout beating from the one up Nellis to the point that it bled money so bad it closed. Unlike the late Nellis at Craig location, Walmart has invested in this location. Arguably the lock down cases are an investment that says they have zero plans to shut it down. Since it opened around 2006, Walmart has kept up with maintaining the store while investing in a remodel or two. When it comes to maintainance and remodels Walmart seems to put the same effort into one located in a high income neighborhood as it does in a lower to mid income neighborhood. The upshot is that this relatively clean and modern location looks similar to the one in Centennial Hills and Silverado Ranch. By the way, this is one of the Las Vegas locations that I know of with a seating area in softlines. A few days short of the year 2020, this Walmart advertises the digital age with its oversized pickup tower at the Food entrance. Walmart has also upped its investment in this Supercenter by making it an accademy store where they train Managers.   Earlier in this review I mentioned that I have patronized this Walmart since it opened around 2006. This is one of the many Walmarts that I have shopped in. This goes back to the CD age where I remember purchasing them and a Sony boom box when the electronics aisles bursted with CDs and DVDs. From my experience shopping here one of its best advantages is that it is easier to get in and out of in comparison to other stores. Take for example Mark's Street at Sunset which is closer to Green Valley residents like me. There I have one way to enter the parking lot that is in a congested business area that gets crazy busy during peak times. Here there are at least three exits. With the Harmon Road exit at the southeast of the store, getting onto Boulder Highway or Nellis is a breeze. In similar style to how Walmart is with protecting their merchandise, that is mine with leaving my car in their parking lot.Just like any Walmart parking lot or any business for that matter I am extra dilligent when parking my car. My parking area of choice has been the rows aligned with the garden center entrance. As far as parking lot protection, Branson Security trucks patrol it. Inside the store, I have saved money and lived better under a roof with thousands of grocery items at great prices. Speaking of "thousands" I am reaching that Yelp character limit. With that said my high return factor here is 4 out of 5. read more
