Hadn't been to this Walmart in years. What impressed me the most was the openness of the aisles compared to when you'd have to squeeze by products. Things weren't crammed in anymore. Also, I was impressed by the variety of products and choices within brands like you can see in the images I took. From M&M candy to breakfast cereal. Most disappointing were the long lines. Sure, you can check yourself out and bag your groceries if you didn't want help from a human being. I understand that Walmart's position is likely a major reason they can keep prices down. I come here from time to time to get food from their hot food section. Most of the time, there's no one working there and when there is somebody to reach, they say they'll be right there and then walk away forever. Corn dog is soft and almost undercooked. No ketchup, which is the only condiment that really needs to be there. Their potato wedges are solid though but the employee service leaves much to be desired. I am 119 lb, 60 year old woman and 2 grown men and one female employee in the garden center sat on their phones and watched me carry a very heavy bag of mulch, walking right passed them to the check out counter in the garden department. I had to go find someone else in another department to ask if they could ring me up and check me out. The two grown men were black, and the women was hispanic. This is racism at it's core. They may not want to provide me service because I am white, but they could have at least helped an old lady carry a bag of mulch. I'm not sure how to report this act of racism and possibly file a complaint, but you can bet I'll find out how. read more

Grabbed a few things I needed and self checked out. Self check out has customers on camera and everything. As I was leaving the woman at the door asked to see my receipt. I gladly handed it over. Then she held me at the door while I was interrogated because she was too incompetent to locate the dog food on my receipt and said "I don't see this on there. What is it." I had to spell it out for her that the only item on my receipt that was roughly $30 was the dog food. Idiot. I'm a paying customer. Maybe this WalMart has problems with theft but you don't solve that by interrogating paying customers. This location should not have self check out if theft is a problem. I will order my dog food directly from the dog food company because I don't want to deal with this again. But if you enjoy the interrogation then please, go here. Lmao. The store overall is kept pretty clean and organized. It's one of the better Walmart's I have been to. However, the people in the Walmart pickup are a whole different story. I don't mean to be rude, but I would hope that the people answer phones could be a little courteous. On top of them being barely understandable over the phone and blatant hanging up on you when "I have X number of people ahead of you, I got you, *click*." I just believe that they have some extensive work to do in regards to customer service; or at the bare minimum some customer service training for those who don't care. Otherwise. One of the better Walmarts I've been to. Grocery pick-up is a bit lacking. They take a long time and are kind of unreliable. I hope that it's a matter of training required or getting the kinks worked out. The store is clean and well-stocked. I've never accidentally brought home an expired item like I have from other stores. I especially like the self check-out at this location. I've never seen or used one like this and I really love it. They have an entire area dedicated to large grocery trips with a conveyer belt you can load up. The machine doesn't yell at you for not putting an item down or removing an item too soon. It's very smooth, very quick, and very easy to use. If you use your own bags it is even better. If you prefer self check-out and make large grocery trips then you should shop here. I wouldn't order delivery from here unless you select no substitutions or enjoy rolling the dice with what they think is a decent substitution. I've had some really random choices for substitutions. You'd think they'd just use a different brand of the same item but more often than not they give you something else entirely. Vanilla ice cream substituted for some crazy chocolate ice cream. I'd rather have unpredictable and entertaining groceries delivered/picked-up than do it myself so no complaints. Just putting it out there so you know what to expect. read more

When someone needs an approval for an item at self check out, take the time to smile and acknowledge them. Personal interactions with your customers mean a great deal. Every time I need an approval, the employees seem unhappy they have to move and when I say thank you, no response. I don't like walmart at all. However, I needed new tires and I wanted a cheaper place to install them who would also include balancing and rotation! Walmart was the way to go, only $54 total for 4 tires..when other places were charging double without lifetime of rotations! When I initially came in today, I was not greeted quickly which is what I expect from this place, but once Jose finished with another customer he came to talk to me and take my matter in hand quickly. Very friendly and got me quickly out to go on with the rest of my day. He said they were a little behind so they needed an hour...which I don't think is bad either, seeing that I saw 2 people drop their vehicles off before me, and who knows how many were in line before them! Beware of Ordering Online - 2nd time they've cancelled my order AND kept my money for 2-5 business days. 190 E. Round Grove Road Lewisville, TX 75967 WalMart offered me "Free Delivery" for two weeks, then $12.95/mo. thereafter, so I agreed, signed up and ordered groceries online. First, they made me wait 1 day longer than the day they were due for delivery. Ok...no problem. Then, they 'Substituted' 8 of my 29 items (4 were down-graded to generic brands and 4 were "Out of Stock"). They advertised, "Includes free delivery to all eligible addresses" (to get you to sign up), but now every time I sign in, they're asking me for a $4 - $12 tip, per order. Bait and Switch artists? I made another order yesterday to try and obtain the OOS items. They were supposed to be delivered tomorrow morning but shortly after posting my review, THEY cancelled my order...and won't refund my money for a few more business days (as they gain interest on overnight deposits?). Extremely rude and poor customer service experienced while returning an item (a cat sweater). Customer service associate name is Gabrielle and she was working at 7:30 PM On Tuesday 7/10/2018. I refuse to stand in lines with it unbearably hot all over the store, unless you're in the cold food sections. They have some very nice check out people, but most are short-lived. Took her time while the line grew to 7-8 people impatiently waiting and never called for help or even tried to work faster. Her name- princess. JUST DON'T GO HERE. Prices are low, so it gets a star. They stock the shelves in the morning time which would be fine if they would actually let me shop where they are stocking. Instead I have to wait for them to walk away or I have to try to awkwardly insert myself to get what I need. The stockers literally give me dirty looks because I'm in their way. What I really don't understand is it's 24 hours. Why aren't they stocking before the hours of seven and 9 AM on weekends? They frequently run out of stock here. In the summer for weeks at a time they were out of tomato soup in the Progresso brand. I have walked out in the middle of shopping more than once because they are flat out of a crucial item. If I have to go somewhere else after Walmart, why tf did I go there in the first place. Make sure you check every date. I've definitely bought things that are expired because I wasn't diligent. I can do self check out but I prefer using a staffed register. I've only seen 1 register open when i go in, which is early, but there's always a massive line at the ONE open register. I hate having to try to scan my massive basket at those tiny self checkout nightmares. The self checkouts with the belts are never open, so I'm trying to put my bags back in a basket still full of product. I've started shopping at ANY OTHER GROCERY STORE and just buy my clothes and hygiene products online. I tried the curbside delivery, and after being alerted to come to the store almost an hour after my time window, I waited at the curb for 45 minutes. read more

So much wrong with this store. Expired Products on display and in stock, Rotten Chicken. Yes! Rotten Chicken. I have gone there twice already, and smelt the smell of dead and disgusting rotten chicken from their refrigerated department. I once went and picked up a package of chicken, and juice just dripped from the package. My hands had this putrid smell and I immediately went to go wash them. When I went to go inform a staff member, then just said they would go "check it out". I avoid refrigerated meat items at store all together. The check out lines are horrible. They have like 20 checkout lines but only use 4. UNACCEPTABLE. The whole store is very disorganized, many products are in the wrong spots or labeled incorrectly. The produce is ugly and unappetizing.
