Customer service is non existent in this store , I wouldn't recommend this place at all

Staff and costumer service are not helpful. I waited 30 minutes for somebody to come help me after somebody paged to help in the chemical isle. Worst experience. Lazy to check stock of product at the back because the lady is going to break. read more

One of the worst experiences I've had at a store bought a drill there opened it and it had been used and didn't work. I took it back and was told it was their new policy to not take returns without a receipt I explained that I didn't want a return I wanted an exchange Carolina the assistant manager said it must have happened at the factory and told me to try a different store. Finally after a few words with this very unprofessional manager another one came out and did the exchange. Just sucks that they think so little of their customers that they make them jump through hoops to get what they paid for. Definitely will not be back to this location read more

So I used to adore this Walmart until they began to change their policies. Now the self checkout has a limit (no more than 20 items). If you want to purchase anything from the makeup section be sure to do it last as you have to purchase the item there. You can purchase the rest of your items as long as you don't have any produce . If you have both you have to purchase in the makeup section then go to the already long lines due to there never being enough cashiers and finish your purchases. read more

Fuck this Walmart & the old lady who works in electronics. My husband (Mexican man) went to get a wireless charger the lady helping him said she had to get help opening the case since it was her first day. She went and asked the older lady for help opening it for him. The old lady tells the girl our customers are more important. & they proceed to check a few people out . My husband hoping they will help him next & being patient. A white couple walk up and ask for the ladies to open the case next to his and they open it for them right away !!!!!! Literally looked at my husband and walked away. & continued to check people out . Disgusting Walmart !!!! Hire better people & I hope the old lady who works in electronics hears/sees about this review. & starts treating customers with more respect. read more

They are not taking returns of any kind. I bought two dresses in which wouldn't be tried on in store but wasn't told I couldn't return so now I am stuck until they allow returns. They need to post no returns so people don't waste the money. read more

This walmart is such an inconvenience. I come here to shop for multiple items like groceries and personal care. Got all groceries and head towards the beauty aisle to get a $3 face wash. I get interrogated by a Hispanic looking woman in that beauty dept. well guess what, i left all my stuff there. Not going to be treated as if I'm some potential thief... Wow. Have to come here once a month for my medication. Allwaya a 30- 45 min wait to order rhen, another 30-44 min to pick them up. Associates claim corporate cuts are the blame. Nothing but complaints about the lines from people waiting. Pharmacy must not be making any profits to allow the appropriate help to adequately give customers, mostly sick customers the help they need to get what they need to better health. Time to look into another pharmacy. Bummer. read more

The self checkout was incredibly helpful when it was installed. It got us in and out 10-20 minutes faster. Now they implemented a 20 item rule and we're back to waiting in the cashier line for 20 minutes while the scan and go area is empty. read more

This guy saved my week, and my grandmother's 90th birthday party when he turned in the wallet I stupidly left in a cart. Came in for the black Friday iPhone deal- $400 for each new phone. The days leading up to the sale,I've called to ask employees about limitations to the deal, nobody could answer any questions. Day of, store employees did not know where the line began for cell phones, just all said "idk, ask that person". -The event staff/security monitoring the lines were great, very friendly and were helping customers way more than any Walmart associates. -The poor Premium wireless associate Amanda was the only person working on this crazy deal with little help from Walmart employees, save for Freida. Given the crazy circumstances, she handled everything amazingly. -Walmart management failed to send help when it was evident it was needed, they walked through electronics several times with no intervention until customers were losing their cool. This was a huge sale that seemed to not be thoroughly prepared for. I finished an hour before closing, with only about 8 phones total being activated that I could see. People who waited hours already will have to return. Awful. read more

What poor customer service and I only walked in thru the front door. As I walked in, theres an elderly customer asking a gal at the front booth where all the carts were. She told this elder couple, if you want a cart you'll have to go find one yourself. I wasn't to thrilled about the way she said it either. She could have gotten on her radio to have employees roll what they could in. I went out the exit door and kept going. I will not be going back there EVER AGAIN! read more

I'm new to Manteca and grateful to find a Walmart supercenter in my area. Groceries, other stuff and most importantly my Rx's. Walmart is Walmart. avoid peak times if you don't want to wait in lines. Not worth the wait.. I needed to get groceries and a few things for the house so I picked up my three week old and headed out, we got everything we needed in a timly manner and then walked towards the registers, only three or four open with crazy long lines, so we parked the cart and left. I don't have time to be sitting for ever to get rung up and leave a store, if you don't have adequate lanes open don't expect people to buy from you. read more

kind of trashy. crowded and not many lines open. fruit and veggies look yucky. Ive always used self checkout cause even with more stuff I'm faster than the clerks. went to use it and the rude guy there with a mustache and tattoos waited till I was about to start ringing up my stuff to tell me it's 20 items or less now. When I asked since when i didn't see a sign. he said there is one. I had to hunt for it. it was a SMALL sign. (let me educate him- you check the line for people with more than 20 and let them know policy is now 20 items or less, you don't let them wait in line when you SEE they have like 25 items. then wait till they walk past you and grab the scanner to say "20 items or less". he needs to go be a stocker if he can't communicate with customer) so I had to go re wait in another line where the cashier is slow as heck to check out. the next time I went kind of late. wouldn't you know it. there was NO cash registers open Not ONE. so they told me to use self checkout. hmmmmm. Today the woman that helped me at the register was AWESOME. Mrs. Virginia P, was extremely helpful and very personable and made what normally is a slow, crappy experience a fun good one! She listened to me and my ramblings and gave me some great advice and made sure I got the coupon discounts on some of my items that I didn't even notice. I come here because it is the only Walmart in town and it is close to my house and sometimes you just need things. However, I will stop and shop at Walmart's in other towns to avoid coming to this one and have started ordering regular household needs from Amazon because of this Walmart location. The parking lot is difficult to navigate. For some reason the city put a park n ride in the Walmart parking lot close to the store, taking up spots for the store. But the real problem is that this store is tiny. The town used to be small but now that thousands of homes are being built each year in this town and the population has gone up 30,000 people in recent years, it is time for a bigger Walmart. Walmart's philosophy to deal with needing more space? Make the aisles smaller. What? So if someone is going down an aisle with one of the kids carts then they don't fit down the aisle with anybody going the opposite direction and people have to turn around and go the other way. There is also not enough room for ample stock and I often cannot get as much as I need. and, they move things around... I couldn't even find an item I usually buy every visit last time I was there because it wasn't in the same place it used to be. The lines at this location are not as bad as other locations though, even during peak times. read more

I was in the video department and could not make heads nor tails of it. They used to have it differentiated to tv shows and movies and in alphabetical order. Yesterday when I was in the store, it looked like a 2 year old had rearranged the shelves! Nothing was in any form or order I could discern. After 5 minutes of trying to figure out where the boxed sets of tv shows were, I gave up. Ladies bras were the same way. Really disappointed in how messy the section was as well. Plus there was a lady who had brought her dog into the store. Come on people, leave your pets at home! I get that you cannot leave them in the car, but they have no place in a cart where people are going to put food! Dogs are not allowed in to grocery stores for hygenic reasons (excepting of course service animals). This was no service animal! Walmart in Manteca is definitely going down hill fast. The store feels dirty but at least they have improved on check out times! Still, Walmart is my last resort, not my go to place any longer. read more

I usually do my grocery shopping at SaveMart or Raley's in Manteca. Even though the groceries are a little more expensive than Walmart it's sometimes worth it. Tonight, I had a few more things other than groceries to buy so, I went to walmart. I am partially disabled and rely on the scooter type cart to do my shopping. The two scooters I found both had broken wheels and made it uncomfortable to ride in. Not all walmarts fault. The most disappointing thing about shopping tonight is, I was not able to get most of the things I needed. They had pallets all over the floor, blocking aisle ways or stacked up blocking an items. If not I the scooter, I may have been able to maneuver around the obstacles to get what I needed. The customer service SUCKS at Walmart. The employees pulling and placing the pallets are less than willing to assist you or move out of your way. The restrooms were disgusting and I couldn't stand to even wash my hands in there. If you are disabled or impaired in any way, walmart is not a friendly place for you to shop. Stay away and find a better place to shop. read more

If the cashiers would check ID's from people that use charge cards and walmart pay app it would be a big plus. I live in North Mississippi and someone used walmart pay to access my account and fraudulently charge to my credit card which i have turned off in the app but they allowed it to go through anyway at this location. I know it was here because i was sent a copy of the receipt. A simple id check would have prevented this from happening. Don't think i will be using the app anymore either. read more

Smaller than the usual super centers but they do carry the basic necessities which are stocked well. Cashiers are friendly and know how to clear the lines. read more

Good ol Walmart Photo, Ordered a personalized item from them on the 30th of December, order conformation said it would be here by the 17th of January, many phone calls later, the order apparently "got lost in transfer" so they canceled my order????? I come here so often for so many different things at different times I think that i just kind of overlooked this place for a review. i really should not do that considering this is a place do alot of business with. With that being said here is my review. Ill start with the customer service. honestly it is nothing to write home about. Everyone working there is assigned to their areas and they are doing their own thing. They are not walking around the store looking for people to help and if you walking through aimlessly they are not going to approach you and see if you need help. If you have a question you will need to track someone down yourself and ask them. Normally this would be considered a bad thing but honestly I just expect it to be that way at some places and Walmart is one of those places. For me this is not a big deal here because normally when I am here I have a list and I know what I am there for. Even though I always leave with more things than I came for but they have everything. The times I have needed help and have been able to find someone I have been helped so I cant complain. I will have to backtrack a second and warn you about the parking lot. It is dirty and a zoo. Carts everywhere and it is hard to find a good spot. The carts being everywhere has to do with lazy people not putting them in the designated cart areas which are everywhere and there is one pretty close no matter where you park. I see them doing their best to round up the carts. The parking lot is aggravating because it filled with people who cant drive. I have also had my car broken into in broad daylight in this parking lot but I cant blame Walmart for that. It is the stupid people who think stealing from others is ok. The reason I really shop here is because it is literally a one stop shop. I can get groceries, stationary supplies, clothes and aspirin here all in one trip. I also love the fact that it is 24 hours even if it a madhouse no matter when you go. I shop here for the convenience of it. I navigate through alot of the less favorable people that shop here to get what I need. I am talking about the people who block the isles and run into you and are just plain rude and act like they are the only ones in the store. Again it goes back to not blaming Walmart for the actions of others. Wherever there is a place that sells things cheaper than their competitors there is going to be less favorable people. It is a natural attraction. And I do contest to the face that you do save money when you shop here and you don't sacrifice quality. Not only that there is the convenience of everything in one store and the fact they are open 2 hours. So in summary if not for the convenience and price I would not step foot in this place. You are almost guaranteed to run into someone rude and annoying and deal with the crazy parking lot. But you pick your battles. When I have an accumulating list of things that I need that vary in category this is my place. If that's something you like and you can take the good with the bad go for it. read more

I arrived here at 11 and I'm fucking pissed I ran in real quick to buy a pair of c earring and a makeup compact as it was an emergency. The store closes at 12:00 am to my shock i was not allowed to buy the earrings I knew what pair I wanted. I just needed someone to open the case and ring me up for them but noooo they would not send someone over with a key . So I'm fine no earrings for me Watever so I then proceed to go to the cosmetics section. As I left my makeup bag and to my surprise the entire makeup dept is closed off. I literally could even browse at anything beauty related if I wanted to. So waste of a fucking trip and gas . So be aware if their going to advertise open untill 12:00 am you need to hire people to be in those depts. read more

Called and the.girl said not in stock they.don't have.tires plugs but sure enough they.did. staff said I.am sure we don't I checked for another customer.
