I ordered a TV online due to being pregnant and trying to avoid the store as much as possible. I was charged 3 times on my bank account and then shortly after i get a fraud alert from Bank Of America. I contacted Walmart and was told there is no customer service at this time because there is no returns. I advised the employee that I have recieved 3 charges on my account for 1 online purchase. She tells me its been happening to alot of people and that the charges will come off my account late tomorrow. Now I need to get a new debit card since my bank is blocked my account which requires me going to the bank. I dont get how this is ok for a company to know that this is an issue and allow it to happen and basically just tell the customer to deal with it. read more

At this point in time Walmart prices really serve my budget and so we choose to come here quite often for groceries and household needs. What is the most challenging part of this store is the workers. Some of them are just gross. Today one of the baggers literally pulled out her snot rag and blew her nose then proceeded to tuck her snot tissue back in her vest and then used those same booger fingers to touch all our items and juice lids. This is not the first time I've seen this sort of unhygienic habits from the employees. The dominos inside also had workers not using gloves assembling pizzas. Back when I worked in the food industry, gloves were required. I'm not that old, so I'm sure the standards are still the same. It's shocking to see how gross the carts are, how filthy the store is and how little the employees care about being sanitary! The only positive is Walmart has literally everything I need under one roof and the store is organized well. read more

Review only for curbside pickup - ever since Walmart has offered this service it's been a huge lifesaver for me during the pandemic since I'm high risk and it's not a great idea for me to go in shopping around large groups of people. I'm able to place my order online and use the early hour pickup time for high risk individuals. The workers every single time are so sweet and polite and just a great start to an early morning with their positivity. We checked-in around 6:40PM to pick up an item. It's now 7:16PM and the pickup screen still reads "checked in". The lady at the self check out is having my wife go to electronics to pick up her item. Update: 7:23PM my wife will be picking up her item from the electronics department. What is the purpose of the pick up area? This store wants to be like Costco, but for three weeks they have not had bags. Can't reuse your own bag. I made a suggestion that they use there boxes, like Costco, then they wouldn't need all the bags. They also are not taking returns, but they don't tell you this. The dressing room is close and you cant try on anything, then can't return it. Not happy! read more

This Walmart is one of the dirtiest Walmarts I've ever been to. Customer service is non existent and lines are long. In these times of racial tension it is unfortunate that African Americans are treated with such disrespect at this establishment. I have had lines closed on me and have been totally overlooked. Okay. Has the ginormous lump ALWAYS been in the parking lot? Or am I just taking crazy pills?! Seriously. Or have I been dashing into Wally World too quickly to make the observation. What is it about Wal-Mart that reminds me of summer? Oh, is it the constant influx of teen moms in booty shorts with tots in tow at 2am on any given night? The friends and I will easily waste a good hour or two getting lost people watching or trying on the latest neon fashion breaking its way onto the racks. As mentioned, staff is a hit or miss. Most of them are just jonsing for their next cig break or McDonald's sweet tea with a 5 hour energy chaser. Don't bother trying to call customer service, they never know who to transfer you too or what you're taking about. Cart wranglers must be on strike because every time I go the parking lot is littered with those broken down babies. Oh, Walmart you're not so crazy low prices don't keep me coming back. This Wal-Mart is always busy and gets a bad reputation as far as what I hear around town, however, I always get great customer service here and today the clerk Tameka at the "money services" counter was awesome! Called to see if they still had paint services/ fabric services, they said yes. Get there and they no longer offer paint or fabric services anymore. Huge waste of time. Corporate needs to update the services provided by your store on social media/ website. Also when I asked for help in clarification as to why it says I can by fabric by the yard online and pick up same day at the store, I was told that orders placed online for fabric pick up In store are immediately cancelled. I don't go to Walmart much but yesterday I went to get a motorized car for a gift. I was helped by Jon. He was amazing. I have been to a few Wallyworlds. This one is a REAL DUMP. Never enough stocked items, at least what I always shop for. The employees look like they work in slow motion. I just moved to Manteca and this store is really a joke. I have been driving to the Tracy store because it is always stocked and super clean.....for a Walmart. I also notice lately, the shopping bags are smaller and yet we are still being charged a dime for each. Now buying the Wallyworld labeled bottle water, those are almost filled. About an inch below the cap. So I guess ole Wallyworld is trying to figure out how to make even more money on water. Ordered yesterday for Pick-up for first time. Scheduled to Pick-up between 3:00-4:00 PM today. At 3:55 PM received text that the order was delayed and they would notify me when ready. Called at 5:30 PM to see where it was. You are not connected to the store but a customer service center. Very polite lady took my info & asked me to hold while she called the store. When she got back to me she said she tried calling the store twice but no one answered. Cancelled the order! So I asked the sales person is she going to help me or is she going on break? She replies no, she's not taking a break. You get in line to receive the funds AND purchase your items at the same time. As you are standing there, a "white" employee/manager comes over and immediately takes your cart from you & accuses you of stealing & that they have been watching you on camera since you entered the store. You are "black". Completely embarrassing, judgmental, racist, prejudice, assumptive, wrong, politically incorrect & RUDE. The management that was behind this should be ashamed of themselves & expect further action from my family that you targeted & wrongly accused. Walmart offered a $25 gift card in lieu of the embarrassment & RACIAL PROFILING. NO THANK YOU! Keep your money, I will never shop at this location again. I'm not impressed with this location at all. {One weird question: why is there a huge hill in the middle of the parking lot? They couldn't level out the parking lot before building the store? Anyway, I realize the stigma attached to the "Wal Mart" employee, and quite frankly don't blame them. Not respected, underpaid and don't care. That seems to be the theme everywhere you go anymore. However, I assure you that I continue to shop here because it is where I can afford. First of all, I have been to this location various times of day/week, it doesn't matter...it's ALWAYS a huge MESS! As any Wal Mart goes, it's usually packed. However, the shoe department (in particular) is constantly littered with paper and cardboard (I assume from people trying on shoes), miss matched shoes scattered, and of course empty boxes. I've walked past this mess multiple times and it's never cleaned up. I realize that people can quite frankly behave like pigs, but they have employees paid to clean, so where are they?? When it comes to customer service (both on the floor and at checkout), it's very hit and miss. Meaning: you can shop there and be treated with utmost respect and helped in any way possible. Service with a smile! Other times, you might as well not exist. The people working the checkout counters don't have the decency or respect to allow me to put away any change or receipt that's handed to me before crowding me out (literally) to help the next customer. Are we suppose to feel like a herd of cattle? That's my personal biggest pet peeve, but truly this happens no matter where you shop. Buy and fly, that's how your treated these days. Lastly, I learned the hard way a long time ago to check the carts before choosing one. If it takes a few minutes for a "test drive", it's well worth it! Most grocery stores have this issue. A broken or squeaky wheel, garbage left in the cart, or a damaged safety seat that I can't put my daughter in. However......this Wal Mart has by far the most damaged, squeaky wheel, leaning carts, garbage left behind by employees that are paid to return AND clean out carts so they are in acceptable condition for more customers. Be advised: this won't happen here. If you do get a decent cart, make sure that the wheels work and if you have children, that the seat works safely. I have a three year old, so that's crucial information for me to consider. In the end, yes I'll shop here. It's what I can afford. I do miss a few Bay Area Wal Mart stores and prefer Target, but when you're on a budget of "broke", sometimes you just have to force the smile and move on with you grocery list (with the above mentioned tips in mind). read more

At 9:30 am I asked the pharmacy to refill a prescription and was told it would have to be transferred from another store and it might be an hour before it came through. As I drive cross country for a living, I'm used to that and said I would do my shopping while waiting. An hour passed and I checked back with them. The transfer had not come through. I left my phone number and was told I would be called. I asked if they could call the other store to find out if there was a problem and was told no, that it was an automated system and it would get there when it got there. After 3 hours I left the store. It has now been 8 hours and no call. Perhaps I should have unrolled one of their sleeping bags and set up a pup tent from sporting goods, grabbed a pillow from housewares and set up camp. Oh yeah. The other thing. When I was checking out WITHOUT MY PRESCRIPTION, I paid and asked the cashier if that was all my bags, as I thought I was missing one and she was already loading one for the next customer. She said yes, thats all of them. I looked on the other side of the bagging carousel and there was my missing bag of items still attached. Always check. Update: tonight at 8:00 I went to another nearby Walmart after driving and parking my rig and tried again to get my prescription. They called this Walmart in hopes of transfering the prescription to where I am now. We were told not only did the transfer never show up but they were saying I was never even at their pharmacy. Nothing was ever put in the system to transfer from the beginning. I have nothing else to add here that could be read in polite company. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I would not recommend going to this place at all. There will be one register open and dozens are customers waiting. The store is filthy, and good luck finding someone to help you out. They pass you off and never come back. Everything is locked behind a glass door and they walk you to pay for simple items. Good luck getting a propane tank, they will never come out to the area. Customer service desk said that there is one supervisor who acts as a store manager as well. From the moment I waked in, I felt like this Walmart was not up to the Walmart brand expectations. 745. Right in front of the exit were a group of Walmart employees and two security guards hooting and hollering smoking cigarettes right at the door. Once you made it in, the food section greets you with many empty spaces. Once I started walking around, I noticed a common theme. Everything was DIRTY. I was originally here for a new case for my phone, but noticed all the phones (iPads and iPhones) were not functioning. I decided to walk around and needed assistance. I asked someone from electronics to page a manager because the person helping me couldn't approve a price match without speaking to a manager. After waiting 15/20 minutes and approximately 3-4 pages, nothing. I decided to walk to a different section of the store. Upon asking another employee to page a manager, I've been waiting for some time. I over hear her paging stating there was a customer with a complaint. I corrected her and said there was no complaint, I just wanted to get clarification on a price match. The employee told me that managers don't respond in a timely manner unless it's a complaint. Which is why she paged it that way. Sure enough. Not even two minutes later. We get an un-uniformed redhead approach me who claimed she was a manager. She had nothing on her person that resembled an employee. I wouldn't of recognized her if it wasn't for the employee originally telling me the a manager who has been on duty was a red head. I'm her defense. She was wearing the Walmart shirt but it was under her jacket and shoulder bag. She claimed she "just got in" but the other employees specifically said she had been on duty. At this point I was pretty upset. I saw her earlier in the store, but thought she was a customer. She flat out lied to my face when I told her I had been waiting for a manager. Thanks Walmart. She answered my question and I left defeated. I'll just buy online. Walking out of the store, who was at the exit. The same employees who were talking about "banging" on people. Started yelling names and talking trash in their Walmart uniforms. Security at the door. A taller white man who looked extremely sloppy and a shorter Asian guy just smoking at the door with them joining in on the "fun". Granted, this isn't my neighborhood Walmart. It's a shame that this place is being run the way it is. read more
