Worst Walmart ever. I usually shop at target but I needed to buy something that was only available at Walmart (it wasn't... Surprise, surprise.) Now I'm back to return something and it's a ridiculous line for customer service on a Saturday afternoon. As if it's not enough that parking is ridiculous and they've been renovating for the longest time, there's only one person at customer service and they've only done 3 people in the last 20 minutes. Terrible customer service from pretty much everyone I interacted with. I went in the evening and a lot of stockers were there, none of them looked at any customers. I asked a "supervisor" for an electric wine opener and he directed me to the electric cab opener section. The self-checkout lady was the rudest! I needed assistance and she couldn't help me so she got some other guy and he was about to give me my items for free bc the machine wouldn't take my gift card. Spent 30 minutes waiting for a pick up order. Watched other people who came AFTER me get their items. The workers barely even looked at me, acted like I didn't exist. Other customers told them that I was there first but was still ignored. When was finally "acknowledged", the person in charge gestured to me and said "go help her" without looking at me. As someone mentioned in another review, you get what you pay for here. Compared with the Mountain View Wal-Mart, this location is less crowded, and the parking lot is much better organized / designed. Parking is not only more plentiful, but it's much easier to navigate as well. Compared with the Mountain View Wal-Mart, this location seemed cleaner and more organized. It wasn't as crowded either, although it was still very crowded. Also, it was really hard to find any people to help and to get service. That said, their prices really are rock bottom. By the way, I was shocked I couldn't find any mattresses at Wal-Mart. I thought they carried *everything*. Even so, I was able to find some bottles I couldn't find at Target, and I found some other things I needed as well. They really do carry a huge selection. read more

oops, I Yelped Prematurely!!! So I frequent this Walmart location because it is right by my work and pretty much gives me access to whatever my little heart desires - Q-tips, tablecoths, cards, dog bones, conditioner, or even a cute little sundress... I tried to use them for an oil change once and lost my patience before I was even greeted and I was #2 in line... ACK! But today... I just needed a couple quick little cans of custom paint for a project I'm working on. I called the store ahead to make sure they would be able to mix my colors. YES, the lady said on the other end. So away I went to Walmart during my one hour lunch! As I got walked in I tapped on my trusty Yelp icon and CHECKED-IN! I was so thrilled I even left a quick tip "Custom Paint Colors in a pinch at Walmart with low low prices! YAY!" NOT!!! haha I stood there all happy go lucky a grin for about 10 minutes holding my little paint cans and the colors I quickly chose. (crickets chirping) Nothing. So I walk over to the oil change guy hoping to ask him if he can call someone over the intercom. He wouldnt even look at me. Even when I leaned into the counter and stared him down. so... then I see a guy over in toys. I run over with my paint swatch. "Can YOUUUU help me?" This sweet little filipino guy says ofcourse he can. So he comes over with me. Sweet as can be! He checks my paint... enteres the info... paint color #1 done. YAY! Then the 2nd color. He tells me I have to buy a whole gallon. ok, fine I say. Let's do it, my lunch is over. He starts. He stops. "oh, wait... " He says " I cannot do it" " We have no more red" no more red? ugh. ok, well thank you. so away I went with only one of my paint colors I needed and no more time on my lunch. Tonight I wont get very far on my project. I will have to try for another color of paint next week when the next tiny window of time opens up for me to paint again. I will stick to Lowes for my painting needs now. This is a decent location. The store gets really crowded because of the location (near the freeways and located in a busy plaza). I park off to the sides of the building or near the garden area. You have a bit of a walk to get to the store but you do not have to worry about parking and the huge amount of pedestrians walking in and out of the store. To me this is a busy Walmart. read more

My grandma used to work here and she didn't have the best experience, but she met some of her close friends at this location. Aside from knowing someone at this Wal-Mart, I can't say that it's changed my opinions about it. It's disorganized. It's difficult to find what you're looking for because it looks like they've been working on reorganizing aisles for years. There aren't many staff members around to ask if you need help finding anything, so you need to rely on signs to help you. It may be because they don't get paid enough. I have to say they're prices can be worth it. But not always. I was expecting this video game to be cheaper than most places because, hey, it's Wal-Mart. But it turns out that's not always the case. If the game is popular, it costs just the same as everywhere else. I did NOT come to Wal-Mart to pay the same price as everywhere else. But because I was already there, I really didn't feel like going anywhere else. Also, as I went to pay, they didn't accept my coupon for an over-the-counter drug. It wasn't even expired and it was a valid coupon. Most places, would've given me the discount by entering it onto the register. I was disappointed that they weren't one of them. Oh well, I ended up returning the product. To sum it all up, if you're looking for decent customer service, this isn't the place to go. You have to actively search for someone to get some help. If you really need something from Wal-Mart or you know for a fact the product you're looking for is available and cheap, then by all means go to Wal-Mart. My friend and I went to Wal-Mart once in search of Krispy Kremes (because we were craving it) and the Krispy Kreme website mentioned Wal-Mart carried it, but scoured the food aisles and came out empty-handed. This is for the wonderful Asian doctor who refused to give me one, repeat it after me, one courtesy pill when I lost my bottle and I needed to take it because I was having withdrawals, hence going to get a "lost vacation" refill and I didn't want to pay $118 at my regular pharmacy because the US's wonderful insurance system won't cover a lost bottle for ANYTHING. CVS gave me 3 as a courtesy, and Walgreens 3 years ago for a loss of some other medication, and the stupid Asian doctor whined and said, "they're not supposed to do that!" No wonder you work at Wal-Mart because no one else would take you because I just looked up the official US law and it says it's up to the pharmacist, and as a professional you would rather me experience withdrawal symptoms that could put me in the hospital rather than give me ONE pill? You saw my arm shaking on the counter, "doctor"! This pill is not a scheduled pill, doesn't get you high, can't kill you with ONE pill, and keeps me in balance. It's stocked, not busy and easy to get what I need (and always more) at a good pace 2. Parking is great (once again I go before 8am) 3. Open 24 HOURS!!! YES!!!! 4. Food, Food, Food. It's a Supercenter so I can get Fresh Veggies, Brisket, baked french bread, a new iphone case, bullets, hot wheels and some shaving cream in once place... 5. They do the Walmart Grocery delivery trucks from there and those folks are there picking orders in the morning in case you need help, tons of people! Why not 5 Stars? The Cashiers are not that friendly compared the Fremont Osgood location. Now, when I shop it on a Saturday at 4pm... Ya, it's a 3 Star and maybe 2 stars depending on how long the cashier lines are.. Wow I am surprised at all the hate this Walmart has on Yelp. I visited recently looking to pick up some basic items and was thoroughly surprised at this store. Most Walmart's are known for being messy, crowded, with layouts that make it hard to find anything you need. However, I didn't experience that at this store. The store was clean for Walmart standards and I was able to find everything I needed relatively easy. The aisles were wide and well organized. Heck, they even had a separate garden center which I found pretty cool. The self checkouts lines also move really quickly so there wasn't a big back up at the checkout lines when I was there. This Walmart gets 3.5 stars from me. It is one of the better locations in the area. read more

Car and Tire center people at this Walmart are jokes. After waiting 2 hours for them work on my car, I found out they lost my car keys. The two jokers who work at the car center desk took 1 hour to find my keys on the ground of the repair center. One of them, the main guy working on Wednesday 4/4/18, gave me a bad attitude cussing at me and everyone else for all the stress he had to go through. That guy really shouldn't be working in customer service. He basically expressed how much he hates his job and working at Walmart and hates all the people working in car maintenance. After the installation about 3 hours later when I got home one of the tires keeps loosing air pressure and not able to get a hold of anyone at the Milpitas Supercenter. An employee picked up after a minute or two, and transferred me to the electronics department just for them to hang up on me. Pro-Tip: Don't buy hard liquor at Walmart. I went to this Walmart to purchase some whiskey as a gift to a friend. When I got to the hard liquor section, I noticed that there was a protective glass cabinet that prevented me from accessing it. There was a button that let you call for assistance with a personal note from the manager saying "If nobody helps you within 30 seconds, call my number...". After pressing the button three times across 5 minutes, I gave the phone number a call. Turns out the number is just to the store itself and not the manager. The lady says she'll send someone over. A minute later, a lady walking as slow as a slow shows up and asks which bottle I'd like to purchase. She picks it out and puts it in her cart and tells me to continue shopping around the store and that she'll be ready at lane 7. I spend about 5 more minutes looking at the cheese section and head to lane 7. After standing around for another 5 or so minutes and not seeing any sign of her, I lost my patience and went to Safeway instead where someone helped me purchase the whiskey within 30 seconds (actually 30 seconds). read more

If the store afraid of people stealing the LOL toys or kids play with them and have to lock up those LOL toys then better have a fast and quick customer service so customers don't have to wait for over 15 minutes and ended up walk out of it without a toy. I was stopping by this Walmart on the way to work to pick up LOL toys for my kid's friend bday. The LOL toys locked up and there is a customer Serive button. I pressed it and waited, pressed again and waited, pressed again and waited (5 minutes went by). On the third times, I heard someone made an announcement requested someone to the "LOL toys" section, but no one came by... pressed again and again still no one come by. Then I saw a sticker on the door to call the store manager if no customer service help in a timely manner, so I called twice, no answer. I walked over to the customer service desk to look for the manager, the workers wasn't helpful and didn't know where the manager is at.Ended up walked out the store without the toys. At 8:25am on a Wednesday, the store was pretty empty and the customer service is soooooooooo bad. read more
