The parking here is nuts. It's just hard to find parking during peak shopping days and it's also nearby a restaurant so you're also competing for spots with them. Just be patient or park in areas where there's less traffic and just walk inside the mall to get to Marshalls. Luckily I've been able to find something nearby. I N S I D E It's a fairly spacious Marshalls. Home good areas is on the outer edge with clothing for women and men in the central area. Shoes are closer to the mall area entrance side. Two areas to check out. One near the mall entrance and one near the parking lot entrance. S E L E C T I O N This is where it can be a hit or miss. They sometimes have Breville appliances. I've also seen Manduka yoga mats during the beginning of the year. What I do like is that everything feels much more organized than in previous years. They had all their spring dresses out which was kind of nice! I didn't have much time, but they did have a good variety. I was here to look at yoga mats and they did have a good amount to look at, just the type of yoga mat I want wasn't there. I'm a bit particular with the surface as I do sweat a lot. But the prices were reasonable with $30 being the highest price I saw. I recall when I did see Manduka mats here, they were roughly $50-80? Which yes, it's imperfect, but it's a steal just no warranty. S E R V I C E When I've had to purchase things over the years (it's been a while folks), lines generally go fairly quickly as they do have many registers open when they see the lines becoming long. O V E R A L L Marshalls is a fun place to shop if you have time to wander through the aisles and peruse. You'll sometimes find a fantastic deal for something you need or not ;) But be wary it does get really busy on the weekends, parking can be a headache as well as check out can take longer.

The building was a former Ford auto plant, which gave them plenty of room to work with. The mall opened in 1994. It's primarily an outlet mall, but they have lots of other retailers as well. They have a Dick's Sporting Goods, they have a Home Depot across the parking lot , for clothes, they have Marshalls, Kohl's, Burlington, Old Navy and lots of others. They even have a furniture store They have stores ranging from bargain to luxury . They have restaurants ranging from Dave and Buster's, to Burger King to Popeyes to Jollibee, as well as food and snacks in all different. Nationalities. If you can't find something to eat here, you are not hungry. They have a movie theater with 20 screens, other play places, and . They even have a "cattery.". With roughly 200 stores, if you can't find what you are looking for here, you aren't looking hard enough. Of course, the stores do change from time to time. This is what was there when I was there..... The mall is in a giant circle, so it makes it very hard to get lost. Just keep walking, and you will come back to the door that you came in. The place can get busy, especially during the holidays. I was there on a Sunday, with a lot of people there, but again the size made the crowds much more manageable. They never have the lights on again. Vietnamese Pho place is still operating. Very quiet though. Browse around! Love the patio tables/chairs. Plenty of spots under the sun outside. People come over here for takeouts and dim sums most of the time. Empty retail spaces inside. Looks pretty dead these days. There are still very beautiful views if you take the time to look around. It's a very good plaza, but I wished that they would add more businesses here. Place looks a bit lonely. Maybe it's the fengshui for years. Not many restaurant businesses seem to last around here. Sometimes they might have a slightly different discounted merchandise depending on what sells better with the demographic so we wanted to check it out. The dressing rooms are at the "tunnel." The sale items were indeed different from what we have in Roseville and I ended up finding jeans I liked, had it altered for $5 (the jeans were under $20, any bottoms purchased over $20 is free alteration). My item was ready for pick-up in a couple of hours. The employees were friendly and helpful and provided great customer service.. The Great Mall is one big circle and Uniqlo has two entrances on each end... I think it's the only store that has that feature. I hate hate hate the store layout..I get lost easily, things have been moved around and you cannot find stuff at all. This particular store is close to my work place, so I always go in on a weekday after work. I start very early, so my day ends at around 5, and the crowd ain't that bad in here, once you beat the traffic..jee that can be quite bad. Like the traffic was not enough, I even have to play Maze after a hard day's work & driving at Walmart. In the old days it was way faster for me, make a list, shop, maybe look at things for no reason and get the heck out before the lines get longer. Now, I play maze..damn it..keep looking for stuff, don't find them..keep looking and get lost..crap! However, eventually when I do get to my stuff *sigh of relief* I like the fact that the Milpitas store is well stocked, better than the one on Showers Drive, Mountain View..gosh don't even get me started on the MV store! God forbid if you ever have to go to the MV store for a return..My sympathies!! One time at the MV store, my hubby picked everything on the list in 5 minutes, but it took him over half an hour to get it rung up..On a typical day he would come home grumpy, but that day he was laughing and making fun of the situation. He told me all the wonderful people watching he did there, the funny stories at the cashier, the weird coupon lady with a lot of change in her bag..but swore he won't go back on a weekend!! LOLLL So yeah, all in all the hubby is very happy to avoid the weekend trips to Walmart, as I get it done over weekedays, probably 1 trip a month, really ain't that bad. 0 stars for the layout..1 star for slow cashing..2 stars for the the prices and 3 stars for always well-stocked shelves..to be fair, cos it really works out for me over the weekdays..overall 3 stars!! read more

CONSUMER ALERT!!!! Certain ATM Cards Pin Code are now disabled or bypassed with the new Walmart ATM Terminals, allowing ATM card thieves to make unauthorized purchase up to $50 without knowing your pin number. Recently I notice at four different Northern California, Fremont, Livermore, Milpitas, when I went to the self service and swiped my card, the terminal would not allow me to enter my pin. Instead it completed the transaction without allowing me the opportunity to use my secure pin. After checking with the Walmart corporate customer service, I was told to check with my bank, because Walmart solicited financials to allow Walmart to process atm card transactions under $50 without using the pin. When I checked with my financial institution, they said that Walmart does this as an effort to speed up the checkout procedure while creating an excellent opportunity for atm thieves to perform unauthorized on my atm card. I was told that Walmart has little reason to be concerned about the potential theft/losses they customers could suffer having to repay the financial institutions due to their size. At no time has Walmart or my financial institution provided any public notice that they are doing this. The Walmart store employees are completely unaware. This is a review for the bakery at this Walmart Supercenter. We booked a last minute party for our daughter and I tried to order a cake from the Walmart bakery in San Jose. However, they told me they were fully booked for the weekend and that they were not accepting any more orders. I was sad for 5 minutes. Then, the evening before the party, I thought, "Why don't I try the Walmart in Milpitas?" I called them up and spoke to Erica who is one of the cake decorators. She told me she was able to fit my order in for the next day. I described to her over the phone how I wanted the cake to look and it turned out AWESOME! Thank you, thank you so much Erica for accommodating my last minute request and for making my daughter's birthday extra special! Because what other 9 year old can say he/she got a poop cake for his/her birthday. The cup cakes tasted super good too. They were moist and the frosting was creamy. Walmart management, if you're reading this, Erica deserves a promotion and a raise! Not only is she very pleasant to talk to, she is also very caring and a talented artist! read more

This walmart supercenter ranch drive they did not handle properly my concern the next person next to me took my money in the machine while I'm doing the cash back in self service I called the police the police told me that's is not considered stealing . Incompetent police officer and Incompetent Store Manager. The evidence that they view the guy who view the cctv he told me that that guy's behind me get my money cash back from the self service machine and they don't want me to see the evidence until I called a police the officer showed up and very Incompetent. I give this manager and this store Zero star. People committing crime the officer has a tolerance to say he's not guilty. Come on People shop and people doing stealing from customer is not considered from the officer a crime. Zero star for this star. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time I went shopping early on a Saturday morning but after 3 time over 6mo period I call BS! I spent more time in line than shopping and I have a cart ~$300 of random perishable groceries. On top of that, you have more than 4 shoppers in line and the main aisle is blocked because they have so may kiosks in that there is no way around except back of the store. The deli items I bought hot or cold were luke-warm at best when I got home. I went to complain to the manager but alas no Jacob to be found instead the cashier, very nice but a newbie, spent the whole time apologizing for the store's failings, not his job. Absolutely tragic operationally and I think they need to look into the concept of "Spring Capacity" when you have 3 or more in line. Needless to say, but I will, minutes of my life I won't get back and probably net loss when comparing my time versus cost savings. read more

This location pharmacy is so ghetto. I drop off my son's prescriptions on Sunday, and they told me one is in stock and the other one they have to pre-order and will be available the next day. So i waited for like 30 mins in store to pick up the one that was in stock. And i didn't hear anything from them the next day. So i called them on Tues to see if the prescription is ready to pick up. They told me its not ready and i waited on the phone for 10 mins after they told me to hold so they can check. Then they answered me said that the dose of the prescription is too high for my son, so they can't order. And it should be available over the counter at other pharmacy and i could get it for couple bucks. WTH is wrong with them by telling me to come back for, because it have to be pre-order. AND now i have to go back there just to pick up the prescription ONLY :( so wasting my time read more

My sister once asked me if I wanted to go to Walmart. I told her I wasn't in the mood to go see ugly people. She laughed. I hate going to Walmart at McCarthy Ranch. I will pay the extra 19 cents at Target. This place is SUCH a mess and the aisles aren't big enough for the carts to go through. What in the sam hill is up with that???? There are always crazy screaming kids running around the toy area (Though this is good for birth control. Go here if you need to be reminded why you don't want kids!). Besides, we all know Walmart is "Evil"!!! I would rather shop at Gold Circle if we still had them! Hahaha! I will have to say, the Walmart in Honolulu is NOT ghettofied! I love the reviews on the Milptas Wal Mart, Iam now placing myself in a Zen trans , Iam going enter" Hell" the Milptas Wal Mart. It is not the weekend..maybe it won't be that bad. I am all for senior citizens working; it gives them purpose. I also do support my latino sisters and brothers working. But what I hate more than anything are uneducated and rude people of every color and age range with lazy-attitudes who think the world owes them a G.D. favor just b/c they haven't had a coffee break within the last 60-minutes. In essence, this Walmart store employs people with the ugliest attitude who don't know the first thing about customer service. There is a hispanic-looking woman with a Howard Stern perm-do that just makes me wanna puke. She is just as ugly on the outside as the inside. terrible customer service of a supervisor named (john or johan) he was rude and told us to talk nicely with the workers. Sorry of my rude tone I know its wrong of me to complain after buying a $700 vizio tv then going home to find out it is faulty, then going all the way back to go exchange it, then wait in line for 2 hours, then finally get to the front for them to tell us to go across the store to go get a new one, then come back for them to tell us to wait in line again, sorry for complaining. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Walmart please teach your workers about having some respect for customers and to apologize for wasting our time instead of arguing with us and explaining to us how to speak with them! So I went to this Walmart for the first time, because I needed to get some scrubs. I walked in and looked around a little to find where they keep the scrubs, but after looking for a little while, I decided to ask one of the employees. I walked over to one and asked her where they put the scrubs, with a rude tone she said over there and just pointed to a general location without even looking up and continued to do what she was doing. Annoyed I walked towards that general location and couldn't find them, then eventually after wandering around some more I finally found them. Horrible customer service!!! read more

I like NASCAR, drinking beers, BBQing, but I draw the line at shopping at walmart. Walking in this place makes me want to commit suicide. There are always little kids running around and screaming and their parents never seem to care. The store is ridiculously unorganized, sometimes with products littered all over the aisles. The staff is a joke, they all seem to hate their job/life and they seem to have all decided to take it out on the customers. The parking lot is super ghetto, people will walk right up to your car and ask for money. Long story short: I avoid this place like the plague read more

I went to Walmart on a busy Saturday afternoon with a clear shopping list in mind. I was glad to see that they had almost everything I needed in stock, making my trip efficient. However, the store was crowded, especially with families and children around, so I had to be careful navigating with my cart. I had a disappointing experience with Walmart's pickup process. Upon arrival, all pickup spots were occupied, leading to confusion. Inside, the lack of clear signage and assistance at the Services line added to the frustration. Despite a 15-minute wait, no one was available to help at the pickup line. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO ENGLISH IN THE WORKPLACE???? Does the staff at this Walmart realize how rude it is to speak their native language to one another while ignoring the customers. Seems like the managers aren't very good at observing staff interactions. I would suggest that if you want to be treated with courtesy you should find an alternative, especially in Milpitas. You can go shopping here, but never ever go to the tire center. Tire center guys are so incompetent and inefficient. 15min oil change took 2hrs for me and there was only one car ahead of me. These guys have no sense of f***g time. My car was on the track for 50mins just for oil change. The guy searches here, searches there, comes in, goes out, talks to people and takes 50mins to complete oil change. They promised 45min-1hr that actually more than doubled in reality. read more

do not ever get your automotive service done here. they have no sense of a positive work ethic. lazy and probably recovering felons and addicts. i watched the "teams" crew of 5 behind a locked door sipping coffee or maybe a mix while a line of customers over 7 deep waited for service. if you look at reviews you would think walmart management would deal with it but my guess is they are from the same culture of not really caring. someone needs to clean up that program. read more

This place is dirty, nasty, and the workers look homeless. I went to go buy some condoms with my boyfriend and I found a tweaker screaming at a wall with manure smeared all over his clothes. It stunk up the whole place. My boyfriend used the restroom there and the bathrooms legit had pee dripping down the walls and urinals. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend going there. Although I didn't find what I wanted, I found something I did which was a super clearanced charger for my phone. What I noticed at this place was that they don't put stickers on the actual product if it's clearance. You have to scan the item to double check to make sure the price is the clearanced price. Everything also stays on the shelf *generally* at least for the electronics section for clearance. Is that better? I don't know. I'm just so used to going to the end caps of aisles and looking at yellow tags. Either way, I found something that I needed for a good price. Self check out was easy and the checker was helpful to get one of the stations so that we could use it. That was helpful. Overall, I do like this Target. It's always clean and not super busy which I appreciate.

Its a perfect location to get off, get what you need and be back on your way. There are several places to eat around it and even a Chase bank. So if there is anything else you need to pick up a bite this place works out. There's plenty of parking here, its right next to a hotel so the parking lot sort of extends out. I've never had any issues witht he employees here, everyone here has been friendly and helpful when I did need something. This Target has all the items all other Targets have, nothing more or less. Its a great place to stop by quick and pick up items you need.

Unfortunately my experience yesterday was very unpleasant due to Francisco's poor people and customer service skills (or lack thereof). I explained that I wanted to use my gift card during checkout but couldn't find the gift card at the time and didn't want to hold up the line so paid using my Costco credit card. Right after swiping, I found the gift card so I wanted to have the amount returned to my credit card and re-buy the 3 items using the gift card instead. I made the request at Merchandise pickup where there were no customers waiting after me. After I explained what happened, Francisco said it was my own fault for not using the correct card, so I'll just have to use the gift card next time and said I could have just stayed as long as I needed regardless of holding up the line to find the card. Obviously I acknowledged my own mistake, which is why I explained the situation to him truthfully since the beginning. However, the attitude, demeanor, and choice of words Francisco used were rude, demeaning, and unnecessary. I asked him kindly and he could have simply said something along the lines of "I'm sorry to hear what happened. Unfortunately in this case, I won't be able to fulfill your request, but you are more than welcome to use the gift card another time." That's all! There was absolutely no reason for the attitude. Costco, please retrain Francisco on basic customer service. No paying membership customers appreciate spending money just to be spoken rudely to. I've had many great experiences here from other staff members so hopefully my next review will be a positive one. Most of all, I hope Francisco learns and changes for the better!

Came here while in town as I needed a few items that had been lost or I didn't pack enough. I…read moredidn't want to spend a lot of money so I came here. My Apple maps did me dirty on finding this location and I drove around the parking lot several times. Finally kidlet acted as navigator and helped me find. This dollar tree was STOCKED compared to the ones where I live. There was so much more I wanted to/could have bought but I only have limited space to travel home with. Got the items I needed and spent a whopping $9.75. This was replacing the 2 items I needed, car candy and snacks for the plane the next day. If in the area I would come here again as there are lots of other stores/shops/restaurants in this area which would make it easy to take care of errands.

Came by for a helium balloon the other day and parking was plentiful in the private strip mall lot…read more There were a couple derelicts hanging out by the front entrance harrassing shoppers while they went in and out. The line was minimal during my visit. Helium balloons were scattered throughout the store making my trip quick and easy. They take credit cards.

Whenever we come in, my kids get so excited when they see Josh and always run over to say hi. It really shows how genuine and kind he is. Those personal interactions mean a lot and are one of the reasons we love coming back. The store is also, by far, the cleanest location we visit. Everything is always well organized, stocked, and easy to find, which makes shopping so much more enjoyable. No matter when we stop by, the shelves are full and the store looks great. They don't always have them so I was so happy to find them and at a good prices. Some were even on clearance. The cashier was kind and the line was long but moved quickly.

One of my favorite Home Goods - a 2-in-1 with TJ Maxx! It's located in a plaza right next to the…read more101 freeway. There are lots of stores and restaurants around here including an AMC theatre, so there is plenty of parking. When you enter, it's TJ Maxx products and in the back is Home Goods. They have a good amount of stock in-stores compared to others I've seen in the area. Things are organized in my opinion, but I do wish there were more cashiers available. Definitely a must stop for me in the South Bay!
