This is for the tire and oil section. You guys are useless and worst people on the planet. You guys lied to me and you guys work really god dam slow. I made it very clear that I'm in a rush and need to get my flat tire fixed. They didn't want to give me an estimate time when they'll do my car. They gave me a very vague answer that there are a few cars ahead of me. I waited over an hour and got fed up. I told them give me an estimate time I want to know how much longer I have to wait. They told me three more hours. A total of four hours. I called triple A to come to Walmart and have it fix within minutes after arriving. Thanks Walmart you piece of crap. This is for OIL CHANGE not for the store itself. My older brother and I went here to get his oil changed on a Sat. morning. My brother was ONLY 2nd in line and that lady took FOREVER!!! No I'm not kidding. She spent 25 minutes for the guy in front of us. She asked so many questions, when the guy just wanted a simple oil change and he said he has been there before so they should have his information. Yes, it is her job to ask questions, but does the customer need to repeat himself 3 times for almost every question?!? 25 minutes is not forever, but for ONE PERSON?!?!?! COME ON!!!! By the time she was done and it was our turn, there were 4 cars behind my brother's. Next visit, my car's turn. I was praying for that lady to not be there. Please Lord, I don't want to see her stupid face again!!! There she was... So there are 2 drivers in front of me who are getting their oil changed. The guy first in line wants the basic package. She again asked stupid questions. He said he only has ONE car in the system. and he has ALL his information is in the computer, do you really need to ask what model his car is? This lady talks as if she's belittling her customers. Granted, she does work there and knows more, but it does NOT GIVE HER THE RIGHT TO BELITTLE HER CUSTOMERS!!! The poor guy wants the basic package, JUST GIVE IT TO HIM!!! Now it's my turn, I gave her all the info she needed and went home with my brother. I didn't even get to sit in the sofa when the lady calls me. "I'm sorry, we don't have the oil filter for your car. We only have filters for '93 or older." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! This is a tipical Walmart junkyard with bad service and extremely slow check-out lines. But what makes me go as low as 2 stars rating is the persistent state of construction going on at the Milpitas Walmart. Also they tolerate RVs that stick in their parking lot living there every single day for months if not years. This is actually the worst parking lot around to get things stolen from inside your car. I DONT know why I'm rating a wal-mart but here goes. I usually come here during night time and I must say that there is an interesting amount of weird people that come in here... I seen someone rearranging the aisles and he didn't even work there.... Another time I seen someone drinking soda down the aisle and I know he didn't pay for a 2 liter to Start drinking it inside wal mart. Lol! This place is gross. Its overwhelming, jampacked like New York traffic, lines are always long and slow like customs department at an airport, its dirty, kids running around and crying, workers arent much help either. Also, they're unorganized and messy. Prices on some items are unavailable as well. I came here looking to shop for essentials for my upcoming Vegas trip and i gave up. By the way they got a pet section where they sell live fish......oh wait, USED TO! They got dirty fish tanks filled with water with the filters still running. Talk about unsanitary! Customer service sucks. I went to the men's dept to buy some cheap jeans. There were 3-4 employees working in the men's dept. Not one employee acknowledged my existence. The jeans display was unorganized; I only found 1 pair of relaxed jeans in my size (30/30). I went to the fitting room area and there was an attendant at the counter in front of the fitting rooms. She totally ignored me and made a phone call. I stood there for a moment and she wouldn't make eye contact. I gave up and just went to a fitting room. I have no idea what her job was. read more

I went to Walmart at Milpitas to change my wife's car battery. It is 4 year old and started to make starting troubles occasionally. I decided to pay early visit to Walmart at 8am. The guys at Lube & Tire department were exceptionally helpful in finding the one that fits. I just waited 20 minutes and they cleaned the electric nodes contaminated from the old battery overflow, installed the the battery, put rust prevention coats, and checked the tire pressure. And the cost for all that service was $0. I'd absolutely recommend Tire & Lube department of Walmart at Milpitas to any of my friends. read more

This Walmart like most Walmarts puts lower prices on shelf than they ring you up for at the register. I pointed out the price difference to the lady manning the self service registers and she said I have to pay the higher price. I told her it is illegal to charge me a higher price than us on the shelf. She had no way to call anyone to check the price or call the manager. I went to double check the price and take photos. I was right. They had the wrong price but the woman at self checkout and the CO-manager did nit care. She said "they would honor the posted price only on one item, I had twitter. The price they rang up was wrong. It is illegal to charge more than the price posted on the shelf. Look at the photos. I got audio recording of these charlatans. Walgreens was fined millions for doing this. I am reporting this to Alameda County bureau of weights and measures. Wal-Marts are like a hit and miss kind of store. Ones either crappy as hell or ones either way better than the other. But I've learned that Wal-Marts are usually out of the things I buy, specifically this Wal-Mart. Yes, they do inventory when they're still open with a lot of customers causing traffic jams with their carts trying to find their way around the aisles blocked with the blocks of stuff that needs to be restocked onto shelves. I'd recommend coming on a weekday during school/work hours where it's not so crowded. Don't even bother on the weekends...and definitely try to stay away from here on Black Friday. You'll either get pushed, shoved, or waste your time waiting in line because of an inconsiderate manager telling employees to let 100s of customers wait for the item when he clearly knows theirs only 20 of the item. Oh and then starts being a wuss, hiding behind a cashier counter in the auto department when everyone yells at him for it. Good job, manager. I've been coming to this wal-mart my entire life just because it's the closest one to home. Worst Walmart ever. I came in for a mini fridge and I asked the worker next to me if she knew how much it was and she responded with a no. Hesitate and then walk over without saying a word and I watched her google prices for 5 minutes before rudely telling me it was 144. I was about to not buy it but I checked myself and it was only 80. Upon getting home, I opened the box to a super dented fridge and I called to check if they had one in stock for exchange and was put on hold for 25 minutes, and only once did they come back 10 minutes in to ask me AGAIN what I was looking for. This is like most other walmarts. They have a decent collection. Too many customers in the evening. One thing that you have to look out is certain items on the rack are priced higher than their website. Make sure you use a barcode scanner like red laser before you buy an item to see if the price has been marked up. read more

TERRIBLE Customer service on the phone!!!! I had one simple question-"Can I pay a bill in store?" .....4 phone calls later, each time listening to the phone ring for over 2mins and the last time waited 5 mins. This stores Tire/Lube auto care dept. Doesn't even deserve one star! Went to just buy a battery for my car and whoever the assistant manager is, is very rude she looked at me before even asking what I needed and with an attitude said whatever you need it won't happen until 6pm this was at 1:30 pm . All I needed was to find out which one of their batteries my car called for and buy it and put it in myself. .so rude that she got a F U and I will never shop there again. Went to Auto Zone and got a new battery with a free install at a cheaper price. Will never go back to this Walmart again for anything if the management talks to customers like she talked to me I could just imagine how the regular employees talk to customers. Saw a Klipsch Soundbar on sale on walmart.com and went to the store right away since it said it was available. Drove all the way, found the speaker and went to checkout and had it ring up at a higher price. When we said that it was lower on their website, we were told "We dont price match the website". Took us a minute to understand this absurdity, we said "Its your own website" to which she said, "yes we know, but we can't match it" She then called the manager and she said we can order it online and get an email within 24 hours and then pick it up. We asked her if we were supposed to go home, order it online and come back all the way again and pick up the same speaker from the same store for the lower price? To which she simply said "yes" This is absolutely the worst policy I've ever heard of, you don't price match your own website? especially when I can order it online and pick it up in the SAME store? I love walmart! I definitely would choose walmart over target hahaha. Things are just cheaper at walmart! Plus this walmart is close to my house so I've been coming here for a very long time. I haven't had any bad experiences here. Of course the lines are long sometimes, but that doesn't seem avoidable, and the workers have never been mean to me. The walmart on Story in San Jose is more packed than this place. However, the stuff at Story or in Fremont is probably a lil cheaper than this place by like a dollar or two ha. I been coming to this Walmart every once in awhile to get the items that I need from time to time. I know this Walmart is currently expanding to add the grocery part and yeah the store looks like a total mess right now. Mainly I want to call this Walmart the Filipino Walmart as there are so many of them are working there. Another turn off depending on the time of day, you can smell the landfill which is probably a few miles away from the store, also at night there are a lot of bugs flying around. This Walmart is the worst. Completely understaffed & they have transitioned MOST of the store's checkouts into long aisles of "do it yourself" loading, scanning & bagging. Many of these machines are faulty too, so getting out of the store takes even 3x longer than it used to. They only had ONE regular "old school" checkout where the employees still did their OWN job open on a busy weekend. Any employees they DO still have are either rude and abrupt or don't know what they're doing. Don't come here unless you're prepared to get held up at every turn & become a Walmart employee yourself for the entirety of your visit. read more

I only come here on weekdays between the hours of 11:00pm-1:00am so it's a completely different experience compared to peak hours on the weekend. The renovation they did a couple years ago actually made this Walmart pleasant to shop in now. The aisles are arranged nicely so everything is easy to find. The parking lot is decent but it gets pretty packed during the day. The downside of shopping here so late is that the night crew is usually stocking the shelves so you see a lot of inventory carts laying around and sometimes blocking certain aisles. Overall, I think this store is much better than the one on Story Rd. read more

The manager at this store raises the bar for good managing. My husband and I notice his presence every time we are in the store. This manager is always calm and pleasant, and it makes the store so much nicer. One time I saw him defusing a situation with an out of control customer...wow, it was like a scene from the movie Hurt Locker, as though he were handling an explosive. But he did it with class and everyone around felt comfortable. His name is Marcos and that Walmart is really lucky to have him. I have seen customers approach him, he smiles and makes them feel welcome to his store. We shop here a lot because of the prices and the store is clean and stocked well. Usually managers are stressed, tired, and beaten down by the responsibilities of managing; but this manager, Marcos, not only handles the responsibility well, but makes us proud to shop in his Walmart. read more

So... they've made some remodeling changes since the last time we've been here. Yet... service is still the same. Very unhelpful workers who ignore your questions or make you look like a dumb ass when they do listen to your question. Yet you can't go wrong with Walmart when your looking for bargains. Bought things to organize the bathroom and our fishtank area...plus a bunch of junk that just gets put into the cart for 50 bucks. I was surprised... since we usually gross over 80. Probably because we quit buying DVDs. This is not my favorite Walmart... but then again none of the Walmarts in the bay area are very good.
