Today I went to Walmart for fresh ingredients to make salsa when I got to produce the jalapeño display and both sections were empty. I see a Produce man talking to another clerk Alejandro and I asked him if they had jalapeños in the back he said yes there's 40 pounds but no he hasn't been able to get to them. I said I would go ahead and do my shopping and check back before I leave. I see that man leave while I'm shopping and when I go back to Produce Alejandro is cleaning the banana display & I go up and ask him if he's been able to get the jalapeños he then said no and he won't be able to get them because he is way too busy. Today is a busy day. I went to the customer return area and asked Mitzi to call a store manager, thinking they might not be too busy and she didn't know how to page somebody so she walked to the front end and got Jasmin Jasmin in turn came to Produce asked me what the situation was. I told her and Alejandro & her went to the back room in about five minutes later here comes Jasmin with Alejandro carrying the 40 pounds of jalapeños she said yes he did appear to be very busy. He was sweating. Well I was very busy also trying to get my salsa ingredients so maybe Mitzi needs to be trained on how to page someone and Alejandro needs to be explained what Customer Service really is. First thoughts walking up to this walmart were toward the people working that did not look like they wanted to even be there. Distracted by their cell phones. Walking inside it is a little messy. Not the nicest looking walmart but definitely not the worst I've been to.. Anyway... Jason, the sloppy looking "assistant manager" is the reason I am giving a negative review. I was standing in line when a gentleman who waited patiently in front of me in line gets to the register and asks for cigarettes. The cashier told him he had to get in a different line. The customer looked confused and the other line had 10 people in it. The so called manager on duty came waltzing out and began talking down to the gentleman. As the customer began to ask a question, Jason cut him off to loudly say, "you can call 1800walmart and make a complaint if you want". The customer walked away. So did I. I've worked in customer service and retail management for most of my career. This guy is clearly in the wrong field. read more

Seriously this store is the most mis managed store I have ever been in. Today was our LAST time here. On weeknight there are ZERO manned registers open, only the self serv registers are open. Soooo....we decide to shop in the weekend and there were only 2 registers open and it took us 48 MISERABLE MINUTES to get thru the check out line. The self serv line was wrapped around the front of the store. Completely ridiculous. I even called the store from the checkout out line to get a manager up front and no one answered the phone. I asked a clerk to find the manager and he NEVER showed and she never came back. This is entirely disrespectful to any customer willing to spend money in this store! So bye Walmart! You're NOT worth it! And I felt so bad for the cashier, she was doing the best she could with ringing up merchandise and bagging it. The Walmart store in Morgan Hill is pretty bad! Many of their employees are just rude! There's a tall white guy there w shaved head that acts like he's a homosexual over in the checkout section. His behavior is very offensive and he raises his voice to the customers. There's also an old short white lady who is kinda of fat that works there woddling around between self checkout, she is especially rude to customers also. I use to think it was cruel to say that shopping at Walmart is shopping at the bottom of the barrel. But with rude employees like this and no visible management on the floor, it really is true! If you don't believe me, go straight to the produce section and see how depressing it is to walk around that area. Its depressing, just like the rude people who work there. Terrible. I purchased a Blu Ray player last week. Tried to exchange it today, and because it was over $25 (duh....), without a receipt I was shown the door. No effort to look up the receipt (which, per their customer service phone agent said they can and should), just "too bad....our MANAGER IS VERY STRICT". (Not looking for a refund by the way, rather, an exchange to a more expensive model). Well, you just got yourselves an Amex dispute, which I will win, and lost a customer who purchases $10K annually at this store alone. Perhaps your "strict manager" should re-examine her priorities. read more

What a joke this place is. Came here with both my sisters and our friend. Bought breakfast stuff and 2 bottles of champagne. Got to the register and the cashier asked for ALL of our id's. Keep in mind everybody is above 25. My sister didn't have her wallet with her because she didn't drive. I asked, why do you need to see all of our id's... I than asked for the manager, some little Mexican girl who looked like she was under the influence, drinking her McDonald's coffee said that's their policy. Beware of the floors if they are wet. My grandpa slipped and fell there yesterday when he was walking over to get a scooter so he could shop. None of the employees helped him or even took a report. A couple of other customers helped him up. When my grandmother called to let them know that it had happened they gave her attitude about it. I am really disappointed that they were so flippant about the whole thing. It must be on video and they should put down a rubber matting of some sort by the doors. read more

You won't find a less crowded Walmart in the world. They don't have a huge produce selection (which is mainly where you'll find me at any grocery store) but it is not a pain to get in and get out of there. If you've ever been to the Gilroy or San Jose stores and haven't wanted to bang your head against a wall at least 4 times before leaving, you are probably the person causing the head banging. Came by today to do return and there was two people in front of me. Debbie was at the counter and she was friendly, great service, and knowledgeable. This was my best experience with returning a purchase in any store hands down. I work in San Jose and live in Morgan hill. I have been to this Walmart multiple times and almost every single time I see employees mistreat minority customers. White customers are treated with respect and courtesy​, while minority customers are rushed, overlooked, or disregarded​. Corporate​ needs to step in and have a secret​ shopper set in place to gain a better understanding of what's going on at this location. read more

Well, let's see you have a homeless man asking for money you have a church man and a white suit asking for money then you have two gentlemen who's asking and hustling strawberries one guy said $14 dollars the other gentleman said $20 dollars !!!! This Walmart is mush less busy then the ones in San Jose. I try to come by to do my shopping here when I come to visit friends. Service is good and the shop is clean. No complaints! read more

If you are going to buy a lot of things, you might as well just go to one in Gilroy. The one in Morgan Hill is very small and has a limited choice of products you might need. read more
