Occasionally i have to go here for a few items. And every time it somehow is worse. I really tried to give this place a chance too. I mean people need jobs, but this place is HORRIBLY mismanaged. Like a complete another level of mediocrity and idiocracy. If you somehow manage not to get hounded by people selling fruit or homeless in the parking lot, then you are rewarded with drama and lazy employees inside. Out of stocks everywhere. Product you have to step over. DOWNRIGHT ROTTEN LAZY employees starting with the door greeter/ receipt checker who is completely useless. I mean USELESS. Forget asking them for help or a cart you're on your own here. Last time i was here, i got zero help and ignored in clothing. Same story today. I walked over to the dog food section to ask a female employee for help she completely blew me off. Zero help. And she refused to move off her task said THERES HELP OVER THERE. Where? Over there in clothing and she shirked me off went back to snail pace shelf stocking. I walked to clothing nobody around. Then i found an employee in clothing she was super unhelpful pretended she didnt speak english then i spoke some broken Spanish to her and then magically she knew English all of the sudden. She said they didnt have the size i was looking for wasnt sure when more product would come. There were the usual losers walking around shopping and touching everything getting in your way. Crowded. I couldn't wait to exit. The female employees working self check acted like I wasn't there no acknowledgement no hello nothing. I paid for all my items and of course the security thing went off because no one was there at checkout to deactivate an electronics item I purchased. The door receipt guy didnt care. I walked over to show my receipt and he just waved me on. I wonder how many people he just waves through and product is lost due to incompetence and laziness. Luckily today , i didnt get almost backed into, bothered my homeless or ran over in the parking lot on my way out.

Not sealed on bottom, anyone can just open it.

Walmart made us pay for someone else's dishonesty. Our babies milk bottle suffered a broken seal at the hotel and milk leaked all over the place, our youngest was already angry from not being fed on time so while my wife cleaned up and soothed I hauled butt to Walmart to look for a new bottle. She said to get the same brand and I bought the only "Advent" brand they had which was a 3 pack. When I got back to the hotel we realized I grabbed bottles meant for a 1 month old and they were way too small for our 1 year old so I returned within 10 minutes. Unfortunately the reason for my 1 star is walmart refused the return because a bottle was missing from the box. I pointed out there were no seals on the box and if they reviewed the security footage they would have seen me just grab the box and leave the store. The gentleman said "there is nothing we can do". Bummed we have to pay for someone else's theft. We got new bottles after and are stuck with these unusable ones.

They could not manage to put 7 grocery items in a bag and make the delivery. It's been delayed for hours. How inept can one store be?

When I got there all of the numbered spaces for pickup were taken so I parked a few stalls down. I waited a while and then overheard an employee talking to two different customers. They both had been given the wrong orders. Whatever was going on caused a huge backup. I do not think it was the employees fault because I heard them say that they had confirmed the order with the number the customers gave them. Slow forward to 37 minutes later. The employee came to me with a bag and asked if it was my order. It was not. He was so apologetic. He immediately went in and retrieved my correct order. In all, I waited about 45 minutes, which is very unusual. I will continue to use the shop online and drive up service as it's convenient and I don't want to go in store. I felt bad for the employees.

It's very walkable, feels safe, and has that nice open downtown layout where you can let kids wander a bit. This was helpful since we were meeting our nephews there for part of the day. Everything is close together, so you can go from wine tasting to shopping to coffee or dinner. We spent the afternoon popping in and out of shops and had a great time. I stopped into C'est La Paire looking for comfortable walking shoes and Deb was so sweet and helpful. I also loved Tay & Grace and Kalifornia Jean Bar--both had a ton of things I wanted to take home. We grabbed coffee at Deuces, which is super cute and local-feeling, and I picked up a gift for my nephews and my dog at Hopscotch & Bark (honestly one of the cutest shops)! We wandered into Eiko's for happy hour, which was gold - great prices and really solid sushi. Definitely try the Ricky Ricardo on Vacation and, oh my god, the Bluefin Avocado Sashimi is out of this world. We were walking back to the hotel and happened to hear some live music down at Tonewood & Courage, which was such a cool venue. Overall it's just an easy, enjoyable spot to spend the day with a little bit of everything and we didn't even have to get in our car. Everyone loved it!

It's also a nice spot to grab a bottle of wine and relax. Just has a local feel. Eiko's has been a family favorite forever and one of us doesn't even eat fish - it has something for everyone... but you can't go wrong with any of their sushi rolls. We can't go to First Street without stopping at The Bennington and Copperfield's. My boys love picking out a new book. They have a great kid's section. And don't forget to climb the squirrel for 15 minutes, at least! :) Oh and we had the best date making our own candles/scents at Bougie. I highly recommend taking a class. Afterward, we had dinner at Hestan, and it was incredible! I highly recommend checking them out. Tonewood & Courage is such a local gem. I wish I could go to more of their shows, such a cool venue. I feel like locals miss out not coming to downtown often - we love it.

It's of course all woolen and in those winters that's not a bad choice all woolen. Of course, if the Pendleton stores stocked all the goods from the East Coast, people would think they were living in a sauna. So they've added West Coast woolen goods and I guess the stereotypical West Coast woolen goods comes from the Native American traditions. At least that's what those patterns look like to me. I told the sales staff that I was waiting for a different year. Honestly, these particular patterns match absolutely nothing I own. So while I adore wool clothing, I have enough experience with moths on the West Coast to realize the stuff is going to be eaten down in no time. Apparently they haven't made any space-age wools that contain moth repellent. I am going to have to pass on Pendleton's for the for seeable future. They have got to get rid of those patterns. BTW, Pendleton makes some of the best wool products in the business. I have some socks from these guys. While all my other socks are biting the dust including some really high quality hand knit ones, the Pendleton just keep going.

Amanda, aka Mandy is the store manager here who knows & represents the brand with the utmost knowledge & professionalism. Great brand ambassador. The outlet store here in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley is well apportioned with everything related to the brand. Great in-store prices with sale & clearance opportunities plus selection not typically found online. And if there's something that catches your eye at the online store, there's advantages to having Pendleton merchandise shipped direct here to Napa, including free shipping. And a customer reward card-stamp program that I hadn't been previously aware of. But which Mandy was kind enough to set me up with. The rest of the outlet stores at this location are top notch as well. Great experience this time specifically at Pendleton and generally everytime at the Napa Premium Factory Outlet Stores.

I say this because, as soon as I walked in the door, it was like the way department stores used to be. McCaulou's reminds me a lot of Mervyn's. Oh how I miss that store! Well, actually I should say how much I miss what retail used to be like. Even though McCaulou's is much smaller and very local compared with what Mervyn's was, it's good to have the opportunity to shop in person at a retail department store. For a small store McCaulou's has a pretty good selection. It's mostly casual and leisure attire. Yet for summertime, the store carries brands like Champion, Columbia, Still Water and Tommy Bahama. To me most of the styles are plain, yet one can do lots of mix and match for an outfit. Perhaps, because my thoughts lately have been wandering off and imagining what it would be like to vacation at an exciting getaway place like the French Rivera, I looked for a complete matching outfit. And I found one by Salty Crew. Cool, a bit contemporary but classy. I was thinking...Something to wear not only poolside but also befitting at a nice hotel's lounge and cocktail bar. Will I be able to get away to Europe this year and bask in the sun at St. Tropez? Probably not! But it's nice to be able to dress like I'm ready to go there.
