Absolutely horrible! I ordered my son's Christmas gift online from here, at the time it was the only location with the toy, and it was the last one. I ordered it Thursday and was told I had until Sunday to pick it up. Yesterday, Friday I got a notification that my order was picked up. I tried to call for over an hour and nobody picked up. I tried multiple departments and finally got an answer in electronics department. I asked for a manager and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. He came back to the phone and said there is no manager in the store tonight, it was 6:30pm. He was no help, told me to just come in and I explained I live in Fairfield. He said he can't call the department because the list of phone numbers isn't there anymore. I asked him to go on the intercom and ask someone to call his department and he hung up on me. I called corporate and they didn't even have the correct phone number for the Napa location. I had to provide that and they didn't get an answer either. I also called the store today, still no answer. Only gave 1 star because zero isn't an option. read more

1st call attempt 10:30pm 07/28/18 I called and ask for an item inquire on crutches, after a hold for 4min. an associate answer they stated I will transfer me to the manager office. . .(just to look up crutches), no answer, no VM. 2nd call attempt 10:46pm I call again, I talked to a male associate first name with the letter "A", I ask if he can help me out and call to ask anyone in the store to do an item check for crutches. I was on hold for 3-5min and was advised they didn't have any in stock. I checked there website on in-stock items and they had two available. The Napa Walmart is a good store in a good Northern California town. Let's give thanks for its good employees! I have seen worse. I have shopped in Walmart stores in Nevada, Utah, Mountain View & Union City, Calif. The stores in Nevada and Utah are better. Surprise!! But have faults. This is a small Walmart; I noticed the restroom isn't always clean, the parking lot is challenged, & there are not enough cashiers. The worst thing is that the shelf-stocking work has deteriorated in 2020. Still it's the BEST low-priced store in Napa, better than Safeway or Grocery Discount chain, VASTLY more adequate than tiny Trader Joe's. Normally i would give a better review bc this is my go to Walmart. I have had great help from some of the employees here, especially the pharmacy, but I will do a separate review for them. This review is for the dam manager I had an encounter with. He rude and inconvenienced me to no end and that is bad customer service and I will no be shopping in what he says"His" store any more. Which I have been shopping there longer then I'm sure he has been in management. So my issue is, for the longest time now and not all the time, I have brought in with me my little Chihuahua, holding her in my arms, just to grab a quick something and to get a prescription for me and for her front the pharmacy and he stops me and says I can't bring her in here. I'm like excuse me??? I have always brought her in here and so have so many other people have brought their dogs in here walking in atleast I'm carrying here. He says well this is my store and I don't allow it. I said this is fricken Walmart not the Ritz Carlton. This angered me so much by his attitude. I had just left Nob Hill grocery store where they do allow it as long as you do hold your dog. Really Walmart.... your just Walmart nothing fancy by far!!!!! Last Year I bought a Vizio TV for $463.00 and one year later it does not work.... DO NOT BUY TVs from Walmart! I did not pay for the insurance.... but a TV should last longer than one year at that PRICE!!! the back lights went out at the top of the screen so i can see the bottom of the screen a little bit... crazy... i went in and they said Just replace the back lights.... go do a YouTube tutorial on that.. it takes the whole tv apart for hours and hours and costs a LOT! read more

If you couldn't find it because it was so out, then you were out of luck. Well, you're going to go to the Wal-Mart in Napa because, as we all know (or at least we do now), Wal-Mart sells their toys for less than what they buy them for. Their toys are well-known loss-leaders, things to bring the moms and dads in so that they buy god-knows-what-else in addition to the Cars lego set for a mere $9.99. I hate Wal-Mart. I do. It's in my blood. My father is a contractor who was propositioned by the evil company to build a new one in the North Bay. Well, if you know anything about the contracting business and Wal-Mart's role in it, you know that Wal-Mart never actually pays their contractors. They get them stuck in litigation forever and never actually pay their bills. Anybody who does work in construction knows this, and hopefully doesn't do business with them. But we've all got to make a living, don't we? Fortunately, my father does well without the corporate ridiculous monstrosity that is Wal-Mart, so he always turns them down. But Wal-Mart still gets built, so who's building them? Anyway, back to the review. This Wal-Mart isn't horrific. It's clean, and well-maintained, but I feel dirty just going inside. It's sad when your mom, who, in the interest of being eco-conscious, has carried canvas shopping bags to the grocery store since the early 80's, but now decides that Wal-Mart is the only place to buy bird feed because it's a whopping $3 less than everywhere else. Today my husband and I were harassed. We were at the self check out and were asked for our receipt. Okay no problem. Husband and I were riding bikes so we baught out stuff and put it in our bags. After checking the receipt at the self check out. We walked less then 10 feet to be told that they needed our receipt again. When I asked for the manager she was rude and wouldn't listen. The Napa Wal-Mart has updated, and it's change for the better. They now have a grocery section, so it's a lot cleaner. One can get fresh cilantro&lemongrass that's more affordable than Whole Foods. The garden section has good deals. They are also excellent with returns. It's a relatively simple process... and if one doesn't get cash, one can still get a gift card/store credit. Over an hour to get my paycheck cashed. Tiffany in customer service is S-L-O-W & I think hates white guys;but I digress,she says it was rejected call this number. After being in line for 30-45 mon I go call the number and it can't under stand my California American English; Oh,Tiffany says 'I'm not in the system'! Bull crap. I do like the store. However, some of the staff are very unhappy people. They do not go out of their way to be kind they actually do the opposite, at least the person I had interaction with was that way. Sad to say this lady was training a new person to work. I wonder about this because the new lady working was acting nicer than Sue-the unhappy Walmart worker. Called the Walmart to see if they had portable gas tanks. The woman on the phone was very helpful she connected me to who I needed to talk to and they told me that they did have the tanks. I went to Walmart and picked up the tank and waited patiently in line to purchase. The cashier was cleaning her station (spraying and wiping etc). There was one woman who was right in front of me that had maybe 4 items and I had 1. The cashier (Laura) helped the woman in front of me not a problem, then when they finished up Laura turns off her cashier number and asked me to go to a different line and said she was closed. I told her that was very rude and I chose to not use the self check out machines because I do not like them. I said I could go to a different line if that's what she preferred then she decided to help me check out my one item. It's a WalMart, and chances are, you already know what you need to know. This WalMart went through a remodel a couple of years ago to add a food/grocery, and that made it waaaay better. The service here is pretty friendly and helpful. The exchanges/returns are pretty easy and painless.
