Yes, this store is far from perfect. BUT, many of the employees are happy! Merchandise is sometimes misplaced but not a big deal and this IS Walmart, with their low prices so it's easy to forget that what I'm buying is usually a savings. Checkout? Usually not bad, but about 25% of the time my wait is long (5+ minutes). I'd like for Walmart to improve all their stores. This one is still worth going to. read more

Wow. They seem to have cleaned up the place since I was there over the holidays. It actually stands up to the majority of the other walmarts in the area now. In addition, the item I purchased did not gave a UPC code. I snapped a pic of the pricing on the shelf, and my cashier easily rang me up. NICE!!!! read more

I am with everyone else, this store sucks! Staff is useless and barely speak English (annoying when you ask where something is and all you get back is a nod of the head). Lines are obscenely long(you would think that all registers would be opened if the store is packed). Finally, they are purposely mislabeling prices on their products and/or restocking things in the wrong place. If you have to shop at Walmart, go to the one in Princeton or Edison. read more

This is the absolute worst Walmart EVER!!!!!.the only reason I shop there is the prices and its location is convenient... Everything else is horrible.the place is dirty.the managers are mean, nasty and unfriendly! So needless to say so are the employees.you can NOT get a smile or hello from anyone in the store.I told management the other day face to face and was blown off.and did not even receive a reply during the conversation. Was just asked if I needed help finding anything. I was hurt in the parking lot 3 months ago by a pothole.I fell in and twisted my ankle. They still have not fixed the pothole where I was injured nor did they ever follow up with me or anything.I did not sue or need a doctor Sooooo it was no big deal to them. I hate shipping there and prefer target.but target is further and not always easy to attend. I was shopping in Walmart on 9/26/20 and was purchasing a item that was 11.98 on the Bar Code on the sheet but rang up 14.98. The CSR when she came over and explained to her what was going on she was rude, and stated you need to calm the F%#* down. The Asst. Mgr acted as though this was her norm and his too did nothing about the program, calling back to the store the the phone just rings no one answers and when they do they hang no matter department it is. The claim they were sending out gift cards to try and smooth this incident over but gift cards was never received and it is so funny how this associated still has her job after she can cuss out a customer. When you call corporate they claim they someone will call in 3 business days well its been 14 business days and nothing has been done and they have attitude too when you call and you cannot speak to anyone at the corporate office all they do is keeping taking the same complaint and do nothing but send it back to the store where they don't answer the phone for some manager to call you back. There customer service is horrible but the customers are the ones where they earn their paychecks. If we didn't shop at Walmart, they would not have a job. read more

Weird experience at this Walmart. I was going to purchase Minwax Woodstain. They had about 20 different varieties sitting on the shelf. At the checkout, the cashier tried to ring it up and told me she can not sell it to me, because its not in the inventory. The manager could not help, just told me I can not purchase the item. I looked at both of them and thought this must be a joke. Well, I left the store without purchasing anything. Why are the items on the shelf, if they are not in the inventory and can't be purchased? If I could give this place a zero I would! My partner had to take a wheelchair due to a foot injury. We went here to pick up an sd card, one of those lovely things you need a magnet to unlock. Well, after looking for an employee for roughly, no joke, 30 minutes, I found one. The man spoke/understood very little English. He tried telling me that magnets were in the hardware department and directing me over there. I tried to explain to him that I needed the magnet to unlock the sd cards in electronics. In the time it took for this to happen, my partner was passed by by 2-3 of the employees. None of which asked if they could help. Then when I gave up on explaining to the employee what I needed, we were once again passed by by 2 employees, 2 females. Neither of them asked if they could help, both looked at us like we were just in the way and we should move out of their way. Then when we went to check out the line was a good 10 people deep. Thank God they put another person on the 1 register that was open, but at that point I was done. When we went to leave the exit door that had stated on it, this door to remain open while building is occupied, was locked! The employee couldn't get it open, it had been clearly locked by a key. So my partner had to get off the wheelchair and walk around to the other door and then outside. Needless to say, something has to change at this Walmart. New management please! read more

I bought the game "Red Dead Redemption 2" from Walmart in North Brunswick, NJ. The game was supposed to come with 2 disks. When I got home and opened the game there was one disk and that disk happened to be a blank disk. I went back to exchange the game and was told that I could not because It was a sealed item. I am highly upset for the fact that I spent $64 on a product that I did not receive. The asst manager Donavan/Donald (im not sure which name it is) had gave me a hard time and told me to call customer service however they were closed because it was after 9 and he knew this. This walmart store is by far the worst store in my view due to the following reasons: 1) Inventory is very low and most of the time-items in the store is the replaced one which are not sent back to warehouse or the manufacturer but kept directly in the shelf to fool the customers. As inventory is very low - customers end up picking an open box product or go to piscataway or princeton walmart or site to store. Why customers should pay full price and then come back to return it back for refurbished products? 2) Most of the associates are killing time here-they are gossiping and if some customer reach them out for help-they feel interrupted and react very badly. 3) Just to discourage customers, the return service(Customer Service) is having long lines and associates are not co-operative to return the items. Any associate of indian origin is the worst person out there. Even genuine returns are somewhat difficult to return out there. I have no idea why this walmart on route one has the reputation of the worst walmart in the entire state. read more

Please tell me how it takes over 1 hour to process a return. Not counting waiting in line I was at the Customer Service Desk from 1pm to 2:15pm today. I was assisted by Omolara and Mayabeth (and two others who were actually helpful so I will not name them). But seriously, 4 people to process a simple return? (There were also 3 people hovering at the only other open register while the line grew ever longer.) They also missed an item and argued that they didn't. I showed them on the receipt that they were wrong. They started to fix it but that point I really needed to get back to work so I just left without my money or my items. read more

This review pertains to the Wal-Mart Vision Center. They are awful. First off they won't let you know your contacts are on backorder until you place your order. Or even let you know they are on backorder until you call them religiously and ask what's going on with your order. Now I placed my order Sept 4th , on October 1st I called AGAIN to see what's going on. That's when they tell me they have only received one box. Now you think they would call because one part came in at least but no. I'm going to explain that one box can technically be used for both eyes if the power level is not significantly higher. One eye is 4.25 the other is 4.75 ... The only reason the power is different is to TRY to correct the astigmatism. Regardless one box is useable. ( they will scam you into buying more boxes ... One box is fine ... You can order one box from any other contact provider) Customer service is awful & the short dark hair lady at the front desk is dramatic , rude & very unprofessional. read more

WOW!!! I visited this store on a Saturday right in the middle of Back to School sales, and I cannot say enough good things about the service I received. I needed 1400 composition books which was a large and unusual order, but I was routed to some very helpful workers who did the hard work of taking inventory, assembling my order, and loading it into my van. I was so impressed by their overall helpfulness, their good attitudes and the efforts they made to insure my order was correct. Kudos to this Walmart!!! read more

Ok place. A little messy and you don't get the same extensive selection as other Walmarts, but that could be because this one is not a super Walmart. This one is a real disgusting store with rude and crass staff - To avoid the rush I choose to pick-up groceries in the morning when it is less crowded. But if you change your timings you still have the hurdle of rude and crass behavior at the cashiers - at a non-busy hour at 9 AM, I was rudely asked to fill and pick up my bags at the cashier by a seemingly 50ish lady - only to later realise that she did not bother to handover part of the groceries facing her end of the counter! Had to make 2 trips for a small purchase and when I told their customer service - no one seems to be bothered - have registered a complaint by email but no one contacted / no one seems to be bothered! See the same lady at the store continuing her insensitive behavior!! What a way to kill a brand - says a lot about their declining standards of hiring, training and customer service!! I cant even begin to explain the disdain i have for walmart. I will NEVER shop there again! I ordered a TV to be picked up at the store. I go to pick it up and they first tell me there is no record of it. I then show my receipt. I am then told to call a 800 #, i sot on hold for 86 minutes. I finally get someone and they tell me to hold on. 5 minutes later i am disconnected. I call again. 74 minutes later i am answered finally. I am told to ho back to the store and speak to customer service. I got back to the store and am told that their records show i have picked up the tv... I am furious. I ask to speak to the gm. The person who runs customer service doesnt speak english. How is this possible. Well after talking to 10 different "managers" who none of them were nice or willing to get me the GM i went into the office area myself and found him. He then tells me there is nothing he can do for me. So i wound up going to the police station, filing a report and going to my bank with it to get my money back. 1 star is gracious for them. read more

I called this Wal-Mart because I couldn't find their Credit Card Customer Service phone number. I asked the person who answered for that number because I lost my wallet and wanted to see if they're had been any charges on my card... She transferred me to customer service to get the number. So I explained my situation and asked for the number. The lady responded by saying "you never received your card," I said no and explained again. Then she said "you lost your card in the store?" I said "No, I just need the number for the Credit Card Customer Service." She then asked a co-worker if they found a card in the store, and I explained again. She transferred me to someone else, that lady very rudely said "We can't check that here you have to call the credit card company." I said "I know, I'm just calling for the phone number because I can't find it online." She gave it to me, I called and the phone number had been changed, so I called the number they had on the answering service, and IT WASN'T THE RIGHT NUMBER! I eventually found the right phone number on the computer, on my own! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more
