It's gone downhill since they dropped their open 24hrs policy. It kills me because this place used to be a real hail mary!! If ever I had a big order suddenly come up and didn't have enough icing sugar or fresh fruit or what-have-you, I could always run in while pulling endless all-nighters. I REALLY miss it and things have been insufferable ever since. Seriously WHY, tho? Like what for? WHAT would be WORTH turning away business like that??? I asked in store before and got told shrinkage. HAH. Shrinkage my @$s !! Walmart can afford to keep their doors open all hours especially when they're so greedy they keep a majority of their workers juust under full time hours to sleaze their way out of paying for benefits or higher salaries. Went to this location with a friend looking to buy some Lil Debbie snacks for my daughters classroom party. My 88 year old mother paid for a Christmas clearance item with cash and found out she was charged full price. She drove back over and showed them the receipt, leaving the item in the car. They told her she could only have store credit and sent a security guard out with her to escort her to her car to retrieve the item. If I could give no stars I would. my sister went today to return some items from a baby shower we had. The returns center gave her such a hard time to return a pair of crib sheets. The lady in the returns department(Asian lady) needs work on her customers service, if she can't "handle" being in that department maybe have her stocking or in the basement where she can "handle" items. Being in that department you'll get a lot of different customer even ones with bad attitudes. The only lady that was trying to calm the situation down was the lady that was working with her. Since the COVID-19 Pandemic broke out, I have been to this Walmart location 3 times. Each time I was horrified at the lack of safety precautions the store took to protect it's customers. 1) 3 weeks ago while in the dairy section a man walked up to me (NO MASK) (VIOLATING my Social Distancing Space), (held out a McDonalds) bag and said to me "why do you need toilet paper when you can use a bag," he then walked into the back employee section. (He was a WalMart employee!!! 2) 2 weeks ago while entering the store I ask the person standing at the front if they had wipes for the carts, he said "no we haven't had any in a while". (I recorded the incident on my phone.) 3) A few days ago I observed several employees in the back employee area with (NO MASK), (NO SOCIAL DISTANCING), (Hugging)!!! People wonder why this Pandemic spread so rampantly. Decided to purchase my sister a ps4 for her birthday and due to the short supply, decided to call and confirm if this Walmarts Electronic department had them. From the minute that I called I was met with disengaged customer service from some guy who was blunt, straight and very disrespectful. I asked if he had any of the PS4s and he just said "yes and we don't hold them." As if I was going to ask him to hold it for me. I arrived and decided to buy one for myself and my sister. We are two separate households. My sister is 10 and I'm 29 years old and live on my own; I nearly raised her so we are close. I went up to a guy in the electronics Dept. Desk and he IMMEDIATELY stared at me and then said "if you need something, the line is right there" and pointed to a random line. I told him that I just had a question and asked about the PS4s. I waited in line and then my father told me that he would buy my sisters PS4, again TWO households. I bought mine and my sister went up to the cash register with my father and my sister asked for a PS4 and the guy immediately pointed to me and said "he has one" and my sister told him that we live in different households. *disclaimer: the rule is 1 / HOUSEHOLD* I walked away and as I walked away this guy had the balls to say "he's probably going to sell them on EBay". I'm a medical professional who has worked tirelessly through this pandemic and have spent hours and days without sleep while I treated ailing patients and for him to say something as little and disrespectful as this is just incredible. I'm astonished that this guy openly has this type of attitude and thinks it's ok to say something like that. Quite clearly, it's none of his business what I planned on doing with these PS4s. Curbside pick up is a mess. The reserved parking is on the side of the building where you can't find it, so you're forced to drive around with your thumb up your ass. If you are even are a few min. late you get scolded. Even if you called well ahead of time to notify them that you were running behind schedule. you are given an excuse as to why you suck and they are completely NOT at fault. LMFAO I get it, you feel rushed cause there are a three other cars waiting. Just give me my groceries and I'll be on my way. Lol I think I got the employee with a million reasons why she isn't at fault. She said I didn't check the box that allows for substitutes. Even though I know I did. I didn't argue with her; just listened. However, what was funny about that is she substituted my son's teething tablets. There is a AVFCU bank inside that is open later than the one in Lancaster. If I don't go for the banking then its for the cheap prices. They definitley have better prices than grocery stores. I just can't stand how crowded it always is. The lines at the front are huge and usually everyone has their cart piled high with stuff, if not two carts. Everyone must stock up for months at a time. I on the other hand only buy 5-10 items at the most. The self check out only takes cards not cash and is still clogged with all the people who are trying to buy the entire store, so it is not very useful. The parking out front is also always crowded, but what can you expect. Its cheap and everyone wants to save money. I just would be willing to pay more not to have to deal with this mess. read more

I wonder if anyone in management checks their own stores. EVERY time I called the Palmdale Walmart on 10th west the phone just rings and rings and sometimes the phone would pick up then hang up like today at 6:40 - 8/3/21 District managers should go to through the process of calling their own stores walk-through's checking see how many empty shelves there are in the store checking on the workers having the employees check the carts for flat or broken wheels. Check automotive that they don't close at half an hour before they're supposed to. Checking to see if there are people and departments working on that day. Ok so I go to this location because I have no choice and on more than three occasions the prices and the actual price have not matched the products on more than one location so when brought to the attention to the employees all they can say is that a price change was made and they have not caught up with the tags so I'm supposed to pay the higher price witch I have paid put that's not what's supposed happen I should've gotten the posted price and up to three items and they need to train their employees to either post appropriate prices or pull the tags until the appropriate tag can be posted so that the store does not lose money that is how we were trained in the old days I'm pretty sure things haven't changed just people read more

Pros: Consistently well-stocked and very, very clean. Somehow this store arranges and displays their goods with a lot of creativity! Employees are nice (when you can find them) and overall the store is usually not very busy. There is lots of parking. Cons: Longest lines ever (there never seems to be anyone checking people out). The Self Check-out is horrible full of people stealing and the machines themselves often break while you are using them. Also the nail shop at the front looks gross. read more

This is the only place I shop. Pretty much. I've spend hundreds of thousands of dollars here. But the other day was the first return I've ever had and the bitch manager walks by while the lady at the register was about to do the return And says. I don't think we carry this fabric. To which I said well it still on the spool and on the spool it says specifically Walmart. Then she changes up and says yeah but it's not from our Walmart. After realizing that she couldn't get away with the first lie. She just switched lies and says "well if you got this from the other Walmart you'll have to return it there". Now, me being an avid Walmart shopper I knew that that was absolute bullshit. If you buy something at one Walmart within the days of the return. You could definitely return it at any Walmart. But instead of being an honest truthful person that called them out on their BS. I was in a rush so I said forget it and I left. I went to the other Walmart to which the exact same thing happened. So now this lying ass manager says "We don't take back fabric". I replied "well then what's that fabric doing there". Pointing at the fabric behind the return counter that only could've got there if someone returned it. Then she said "oh that wasn't a return someone just didn't want to buy it". Little did she know she could not see that there was literally a Post-it note on it that said return. Because it was facing away from where she was standing. To which I said "why is there a Post-it note on there that says return"? Then she just looks super stupid I said " I'm sorry there's no returns on fabric". Pissed off I called corporate. I told corporate everything that's been happening I wish to file a complaint and I wanted to return this fabric. The lady heard my story said she was going to call the Walmart office and talk to the manager of the store. I've now been standing in the return area for 30 minutes. The phone hangs up on me. I called back. Of course it's a new person. Who has no idea what the hell I was talking about. When I gave them all the information they looked at my file and told me I would have to call back after a few days if I didn't hear from the ethics department. I didn't asked "why the hell am I standing in the returned area for 30 minutes like the lady had instruction me to do. If I was supposed to be calling you or you were supposed to be calling me on another day? ". To which the guy says "I don't know". Super ultra double time pissed off now I go back to my car I call ethics again I absolutely raise hell because this is a very annoying situation and I keep getting lied to by everyone. The next week I send my niece in to return the fabric and they do it first try no questions asked same exact fabric same exact time same exact manager. I couldn't believe it. I gave all of this evidence to the ethics department haven't heard anything back. It's really sad when you spend so much money at a store so much time. And defend them when they are being drug through the mud about their policies and how terrible they treat people. And then finally they just start treating you like shit. After all the times of having their back in conversation. In saying I love Walmart. Turns out everyone else was right. Walmart is a piece of shit like everyone has been saying this whole time. They discriminate more than any company I've ever seen discriminate before.
