The convenience of the pick up option is quickly cancelled out due to the staff that pulls the orders either being told to input that items aren't available OR they are just to lazy to complete your order. They will say they were out of specific items when I go in shortly after to see that there are plenty of said item on the shelf. Also, whatever item they claim is out, will be an item that is fully stocked in every other store (target, vons, stater bro's, etc) I go to...so again, they are either just saying they are out of the item because they are too lazy to fully complete your order OR the bosses tell them to say they are out of the items because they only want people that physically go in the store to get them. read more

If fact our cashier Cindy (old) tried to charge us $3.50 extra because "she thought she saw 3 of an item" when I only had two. Sooo I guess If I have five of the same item "but only think I have four" I should let her know that she should only charge me for four" Put Cindy back as a janitor...she is in over her head. On my last trip I purchased ready made formula for my 3 month old son, they escorted my formula to register 13 where I checked out. 21 days later I gave my son one of the ready made bottles everything seemed fine, that evening my mom gave him another. I don't know what possesed me to look at the expiration date but thank goodness I did. The bottles I purchased on 12/31/13 expired on 12/1/13 & 1/1/14!!! I went back to the store today, there were still 3 more expired boxes on the shelf to be sold!!! Who knows how many were sold in the last 21 days. PLEASE double check your dates because obviously someone is incapable of doing their job of checking & rotating stock! I was up all night with a poor baby with horrible gas! On a side note, when I asked for the manager today I had to wait. Apparently she was stuck on a cash register checking people out. There are so many people in the AV that need jobs, when your managers are stuck on cash registers to help get "guests" out they are no longer managing. Hire people who want to be there! If I could give this Walmart zero stars I would. Every time I come here this sad old lady decides to stop me and thoroughly check my receipt making sure I didn't steal anything from their precious store. She insinuated that I stole a 22 pound bag of cat food. Okay, honestly...who steals a 22 pound bag of cat food?!?! I'm not very big so I would have to be darn talented to steal a bag of cat food after I already went through the check out line! On my receipt I had the Summer's Eve vag cleaner and out loud she said "Oh you need to clean down there?" Oh hell no. I like it cause it makes my vag smell like lavender and what is it any of her damn business? She goes through my bags every time I see her. Which is completely illegal. During that whole ordeal, she let this kids walk out with three 24 packs of beer. They looked barely old enough to be out of high school! Most of the staff is very rude and doesn't know the layout of the store. If you ask where something is, they point you in the completely wrong direction. Oh and don't even get me started on the lines at the cash registers. Needless to say, I am never coming back to this Walmart again. read more

I am not a complainer, I normally give them a satisfactory rating. Working in the medical field I know how these folks work and so I can say I'm a very considerate person. Called Pharmacy Department today 11-16-20 at 5:28pm just to ask if my mother's PCP sent her new prescription. The male associate that picked up the phone told me to hold because there's one customer ahead of me. Ok, that's fine I can hold, right? I am just testing how long he will keep me on hold so I stayed on the phone. Guess what, it's already 6:03pm as I am writing this and I am still on hold. Its now 6:04 pm and finally he picked up the phone, told him he put me on hold for 35 minutes, he denied that he put me on hold and he was just picking up the phone. I know him, I see him at the pharmacy every time I pick up my mom's prescription and I know his voice so he cannot lie to me. He said they were very busy. He finally answered my question in less than 1 minute. They received the prescription but the medicine is not covered by my mom's insurance which is weird because my mom had this medicine before and the same insurance covered it. It's busy busy busy! It surely send anytime, day or night this location is busy! The staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly. Weekends and the beginning of the month are the busiest. People working Monday-Friday head over on the weekends during the day and beginning of the month but I will people recieve their food stamps. The beginning of the month the food is raised slightly, so wait a week and they'll drop. Stay away during those times and it's not As busy. read more

I'm gonna be honest I only come here when I really need to. I don't like how crowded it is but the store can't help that. What they can help is having shorter lines. No matter what time of day or day of the week it is, there's always a line. The customer service is very hit and miss. Some employees are nice but most look like they're forced to be there. I used grocery pick-up for the first time this afternoon. An associate named Ron brought out groceries out to us. He was so nice. He was very professional. He noticed that some of our eggs were cracked and even went inside to get us a new one. These people are working so hard and are exposing themselves to all kinds of people in these uncertain times. The Walmart on 10th st west is the best Walmart for shopping . I recommend it because you always find what you need it's stocked good with all the items you are looking for. Check out the women's clothes they have beautiful blouses and good prices . Why spend so much money when you can buy clothes at Walmart good quality too. The Cashiers are friendly you just have take a moment to say hello . A lot of costumers are rude for whatever reason go to the store with bad attitudes and take it out on the cashiers when they are only doing their work. Came to do some grocery shopping. I was able to find all the items I needed. A good selection of Stouffers frozen meals. Overall, I noticed this Walmart is very big with all departments available, McDonalds inside too. I came during 11:30am, did self check out, wish the machines worked a lot faster. Not many cashier registers were open and the ones that were had a long line. I give it five stars because I noticed employees restocking items which means items should always be available. Sections are easy to find. Alcohol is available for purchase 21+ valid ID, of course. read more

I have shopped here for years and this will be my last time. I came to return a defective weed wacker. I did not have a receipt however the store policy on the wall clearly states they will refund for merchandise within 90 Days. The manager Justin told me I had to purchase another weed wacker that cost the same or pay additional for a better model. There was no model on the floor. I grabbed a few items went through the line. Being that Walmart says it's about conveniences I'm really disappointed that we went to return after 10pm with our two kids and customer service was closed. I have never not been able to return at any store if the store was open. Walmart was open and willing to take our money, but not help with returns. I think this rule is ethically wrong. I came in tonight at 6:40 PM because I had a punctured tire and Could not get home without a new tire. Walmart refused to help me take my punctured tire off or let me buy a new tire. I spent 40 minutes parked five minutes from their service stall where their Jack and hydraulic power tools were which could have taken my tire off in five minutes using every ounce of strength I had to try and loosen the bolts with a hand wrench. I have never ever been in that situation as a desperate motorist were someone from a garage refused to help you. These People are the worst kind of people when you need help because they could not have cared less. Walmart hires the worst people and pays them so low they could not care less how they treat a customer. read more

It's frustrating that the majority of the carts don't function properly, the wheels will be bad, the child safety buckles are broken and it starts off nearly every one of my visits to this store on an subpar note. Also it is very difficult to get certain items that are locked up; it can be a hassle and time consuming to go from place to place to ask for an associate to be called to where you need them, when you finally get an associate to help you they hand you the item in a plastic lock box to take to check out; that's totally fine but it would be more efficient to just store them on the shelves in that contraption rather then waste my time and energy tracking an employee down as well as taking the associates attention away from whatever task they were already doing. This walmart sucks, at first I was happy that they were do close to my house. Than the problems came they never had baby food or formula it seemed as though the baby section was never stocked (even though the currently more stockers than cashiers). They would give excuses that it's like that because it's the beginning of the month(which was a big lie it didn't matter what day I went it was the same) I called corporate and they provided more excuses. I don't mind them taking my milk to the front they are not the only store that locks up milk (people steal and it is expensive) also you don't have to go to register 13 to get your stuff the cashier can go get it for you. They always have the middle of the aisles blocked at any giving time of the day. The workers are hard to find and never want to do their job managers are included in this except for one I don't know her name but she is the only one that does her job I will go get it and update this. The lines are always long but instead of having people open new lines they are more concered with go backs(handle your customers your open 24 hours). My advice is try to make your trip quick or have patience you will need it. This is one of the worst walmarts I have been too. read more

If there was ZERO STARS function, I would have chosen it, but be that as it may, I think this is the worst Walmart Store I have ever had to do business with. Today, I tried to call in to their Tire Dept. FIVE times without anyone picking up! By the third try, I asked the generic answering guy for their direct line #; I tried that - no luck. On my 4th call and after multitudes of rings, the phone auto-transferred me to "Customer Service". This lady wasn't even sure they had a "Store Manager", and when I asked to speak to one... my call was quietly... subtly... DROPPED! Grrrrrr... On my final call, I demanded to speak to an on duty store mgr.. He asked I wait one moment, which I did, then came back wanting to know who I was and what the call was about! THIS guy certainly knew my voice, and even more KNEW why I was asking for the manager! I told him, "This is the very angry would-have-been 'customer' who is now going to call your Corporate Offices in the morning to give them holy hell, but not before I leave a scathing review of your store on Yelp! The rude incompetence of the folks at this store has just cost them more than $800 of potential business I was looking to give them.
