I was curious to visit to see the lineup of security and police in store as other reviews noted. Sad to report on Tuesday 9pm, there was none. I did see a young security uniform guy outside on his phone . Many aisles of items are locked up, even hair barrettes and hair brushes. I went in to get Tums, ( not locked up) since I had an hour long stomach ache. The Walmart "equate " brand in 4 flavor choices was $2.50.... and I need eye itch drops as my allergies have made eyes sore, hurting and feel like they're on fire. The (locked up) equate eye drops were $5 instead of Pataday for $14-20 I hope they work cuz my eyes hurt so much. But while I was looking in the locked cases deciding on the eye drop choices, an employee approached me asking if I needed anything in the case! So that wasa wonderful experience for me and my eyes of fire. He told me he'd leave the drips at the cosmetics cashier, and I agreed. I to my tums & fiery eyes to Cosmetics so I could pay, then eat a couple Tums. I shopped in cosmetics then shopped thru clothes and I found a sun hat and some flowy beach pants I want to get for my trip. I l lost my sunglasses & they are sell Panama jack polarized one there so I'll prob get those as well. I was too tired to shop but I'll return soon. read more

I didn't have a problem with this store, we found everything we needed and a few things for Christmas that were just fun. I realize the party of town that is in is a bit rough, but there was a lot of people around, people there to help. I felt safe and the store was really clean and organized. I have no complaints. About to start a road trip journey from Phoenix to Grand Canyon, we figured the one-stop shop would be Walmart to stock up on everything from groceries to camping supplies- Initial introduction, wtf- is this Walmart a highly stolen from, riff raff attracting store- because security was intense! And throughout the store, just loads of guards stalking around- I felt very uncomfortable- Walking around, I had a brief sense of jealousy, as they had a fair amount of items our Walmart doesn't offer, like aisle of Bluey products, specific department aisles like activities- baking kits-etc, but my jealousy wore off when I looked closely and noticed everything was in complete disarray- items were open, left about- We needed a propane tank -they come in two packs, but we only found one- literally one of the two packs had been ripped open & only one was left- we really needed it, so I bargained with the manager to get it half price (which is the only thing that accounts for the second star)- We needed an item from a locked case; I asked 3 employees & kept getting told, "um you can use their key" passed to the next person, and had to get firm- can someone help me- Check out, most registers were closed, self-checkout was half closed as well, and when I needed an employee key in the staff told me I needed a manager but they had absolutely no idea where anyone was- Longer chaotic experience than I expected- Then back to the intense security on the way out- the guards stop & really intensely check receipts- would not be my regular shopping go to if I lived in the area- read more

HORRIBLE....I made the mistake of ordering an upright freezer. It was delivered today with damage to the top left corner. It took me two hours to reach a human being and 2 follow up phone calls to receive the correct information. In the end I was offered for me to return the freezer for a refund or exchange or keeping g the item for a 10% credit. Deserves less than one star It's not about one location--it's the entire guest relations circus. A so-called "manager" had the audacity to tell me he wanted to set realistic expectations and that I needed to comply with their protocols. Excuse me? Since when did customer service become a dictatorship? And I am not your employee who needs to comply. Let's talk about the three phone calls I made regarding an order that was supposed to arrive on Saturday, September 27, 2025. According to the first rep, the driver turned around and went back to the store because he "couldn't find the address." Really? GPS suddenly stopped working? Or maybe he just couldn't be bothered to do the bare minimum--like call me, or leave a message asking for help. Funny, because I've had countless deliveries over the past three years without issue. Then there's the text from Walmart promising delivery by 7:41 PM on Sunday. That was yesterday. Guess what? No delivery. No update. Just radio silence. And the manager? Oh, he blames it all on "technology glitches." Wow. What a convenient scapegoat. What did people do before tech? Oh right--they used their brains and picked up the damn phone. But this guy? He wouldn't lift a finger to contact a nearby store, wouldn't escalate the issue, wouldn't even try to get the order out today (Monday, 09/29). Instead, I get the classic brush-off: "The delivery department is closed for the day." Voicemail. That's it. UMMMMM... you seriously can't call a store and ask to speak to a manager like a functioning adult? And the grand solution? Cancel the order and submit a replacement. Genius. This has got to be the worst Walmart to go into, as far as, organization. Everything(exaggeration)is locked up!!! lmaooooooo The parking lot is dirty and there's garbage everywhere. The parking is also very unorganized, needs to be repaved, and stripped so that, shoppers park within, those lines. It's also probably the busiest Walmart that I've ever gone inside of, which explains why they have tons of security. Purchased two Verizon prepaid phones knowing that I would return one. The very nice clerk told me that I had 30 days to return the phone I did not want. When I tried to return the phone, the idiot CS rep told me that I exceeded the 14 day return policy by 2 days and she opened the box. The supervisor was also a no-go. I special ordered a handheld electronic game for my grandsons' birthday. I was advised to pick it up at the Walmart Supercenter on 3721 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix, Az 85018 the next day. On my way over there the next morning I received another email that the item was out of stock and no idea when it would be back in stock. My wife and I went into the store and an employee by the name of Cynthia, pin the online order pickup department was so willing and super nice and wanted to help us. Cynthia walked us back to the electronics department and asked us to wait a few minutes. She said, "I'll go in the back and find your order, I think it's here. A few minutes later she came back with our order in her hand. "I found it," she said. Wow! Cynthia is so on top of her job with dedication, product knowledge, and just amazing customer service. Being stopped at the exit by the same person I've walked past multiple times before that never asked because she was too busy socializing with another associate. I get digital receipts as it is an option. Please stop harassing people asking for the paper receipt it's a waste of my time! There are doorbell style customer service buttons for assistance to unlock the glass doors never came to assist. I tried to purchase a printer, but the dumb employees could not scan it. I walked out. My son worked hard to earn the money and purchase 2 Xbox wireless controllers from the Walmart App. Less than 2 weeks after spending his money, the controllers were blocked by Xbox and the controllers are worthless. We called this Walmart and were told to bring them in and they would replace them. When we arrived, we were told that we had no choice other than to purchase much more expensive controllers and pay the difference. The difference being twice what we originally paid. Despite spending considerable time at the Service counter, they (Kayla at the Service counter and Tony in electronics), were unwilling to do anything more than shrug their shoulders, basically telling my son that he can pay the difference or go without. I will never set foot in another Walmart and the bait and switch tactics will never get another red cent from me. This is despicable business practice and others would do well to avoid the cheap Chinese products and shop the mom and pop establishments and not the greedy, unscrupulous, and unfair dealings of this reprehensible rip off establishment. We all know Walmart is a joke but this is the biggest joke in the US. Store was a mess, unclean, unorganized, and completely understaffed. Self checkout lines were broken and no there was hardly anyone working the lanes. Employees had no clue about the products they had in stock, these so-called "coaches" were as unknowledgeable as the regular employees, and the store manager refused to come out to address my concerns for price matching their own website. Well it's a Walmart! They are big and for there size I believe quite clean! When you enter there is someone to greet you and help find something. They also have a dispenser of hand cleaner but no where to put the excess! I believe there limitation is no one is exactly sure where something is so point you in a direction then when you get there you have to ask somebody else. The other limitation is they would prefer that you self checkout! For me I like a person to interact with at the checkout because with there help I may need some else or I got the wrong thing and that help the customer. But all in all not a bad place. SHAME ON YOU WALMART!!!! Today I went to a local Walmart to ask a manager if I could return my recently deceased (stroke) 90 yr old grandmother's unopened incontinence products (which I had purchased in bulk with her stimulus fund to stock up on) and exchange for products my now widowed, and severly income restricted, 90 yr old grandfather is in need of. I first went into the store and waited for 45 minutes to speak with a manager to make sure that this was possible as I did not have the receipt. The manager I spoke with (named Andrew) told me that yes, I could exchange the unopened packages for other products without the receipt. So I drove all the way home, picked up the products, and went back to wait in line (again) for another 45 min. When I finally arrived at the return cashier (Marsha, also a manager) rudely stated, "No, you cant return those without a receipt!" I explained to her how I had just been at the store and spoken to Andrew and was told that I could exchange the unopened products without a receipt for other goods and offered to show her my grandmother's death certificate . To which Marsha's response was, "Well, he's not a manager up here." I am absolutely appalled by not only the lack of professionalism, procedural knowledge, and empathy displayed by such employees. However, I am outright SICK to my stomach at how much Walmart has and continues to profit off the backs of hard working Americans.
