Not sure what's going on with this Walmart Saturday April 4th at 6pm someone put a delayed on an order place then someone sounded of a feminine Man nature kept answer the phone saying how can I help you then putting me back on hold not sure what's the issue, it's now 8PM. Worst Walmart I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Employees are rude and the rather large woman manager was the most ignorant person I've ever dealt with. She had one poor excuse after another. Very aggravating. I just wanted to exchange an empty propane tank for a full one. Employees didn't know where they were (even after I told them). Tried to get me for nearly double the cost of purchases ! Very nice young lady in return was in shock and got the store manager to let her know . Manager immediately went on defense with seconds telling the your nice returns girl to shut up and started drilling me the buyer on what did I think register boy did wrong ( with a nasty look and disturbing voice ) . It's truly disgusting that a store manager would stoop so low to get both me & returns girl frustrated & repulsed at such actions . Evidently it's constant occurring from what other purchasers have stated . Will never go back nor all family ! Store manager ended up giving me back my money ( 2 hours in store selecting items for purchase and future purchases once I / we can afford purchasing. I've had a couple of bad experiences returning things that I bought off the internet they turn me away told me I had to call the corporate to get things figured out the stuff I'm buying on the internet seems to not work . Seems like lately the merchandise quality is going down quite a bit the store is not fully stocked seems like there's a lot of people walking around but nobody to help with anything it's a pretty bad situation the quality of service there is pitiful. It doesn't deserve even 1 star. Not going through this again. Had to retrieve a code for my review and lost EVERYTHING. Too much to complain about. I only bought 5 items...under $10 5 things I didn't need...they were cheaper at WOODMANS. Front door lady gave me lip from first minute. All I did was shrug my shoulders and let her rant. Another worker said it was 6am.i walked in. She started in on me...again. I just shrugged my shoulders kept walking. Went to check out(13 minutes in store) 5 items one item not bagged. All under $10. Can I see your receipt???? I told her I knew she was going to ask. This time she had back up with her. I held the receipt so they could see it and dropped it. The one was going to pick it up. The back up said no. Didn't want to see it that bad. I didn't have my phone on me to know the time. I made all the lights....no traffic so I got there 5 minutes early. Why did she have to snap at me like that from the beginning. Never called them any names. They treated me like I called them every name in the book. I did say WTF. So much for my new year resolution. If you have to go here, you have to. Coronavirus outbreak, closing early now, still no one stocking the shelves OVERNIGHT which is why they said they had to close early! Aren't they getting shipments? Hasn't been toilet paper here for a long time. Got there when they opened- still no toilet paper! Tried to call. No answers! I have seen a picture of the manager on the wall but have never seen him in person, on the floor, running anything. Where is he? He manages his store very poorly, and I am not a finicky person. read more

If you are looking for the most stereotypical Walmart location of the three of them located in Rockford, IL, then (for better or for worse) you have probably found it to be at this location. Presently one of the few larger shopping options in this area of town, the store is a magnet for two nearby strip malls catering to the stereotypical Walmart shopper, plus a bank branch. This location, unlike some others, has one of the Murphy Oil gas stations on the property for "fillin' up the beater and/or pickup truck" and grabbing some chew, smokes, lottery tickets, and a few plastic bottles of ice-cold Coke on the way to the dollar store. You already know what Walmart sells and does not sell-if you've been to one before, you've been to many of them. I'm specifically rating this location five stars on Yelp because the five star rating's description includes the appropriate verbiage "Woohoo!" -- for dramatic effect, shout this loudly in the style of Bo & Luke Duke (as they do after they drive the General Lee up a ramp/jump used to escape the chase of Boss Hog/sheriff Roscoe P. I have been going to this store for two and a half years now for my WIC coupons and every time I go to check out there is at least one or more items that have to be put back because the price was not right or it was not a WIC item. I myself worked at a grocery store as a cashier and know first hand how stressful it can be especially towards the end of a shift but there would not be a problem if the prices were correct and all the items were correctly labeled. Today I saw that the corn was labeled .33 cent the pound and decided to take advantage of such great price as always I doubled checked the price to make sure I hadn't misread the sign but as I have first read it did indeed say .33 cents the pound. When I got in line to pay for my WIC items everything scanned perfectly except for the corn which I was told at the register was sold by the ear I told the cashier and the manager who was standing there too that the sign specifically said .33 the pound I even offered to take them so they too could see that was indeed what the sign said or I could go take a picture to show them but they said no. The cashier was very understanding of the situation and tried help but the manager, on the other hand, was not so polite she said that they would fix the sign but I knew they were not going to do anything about it. Sadly I have to keep shopping here because it is the closest store to my house hopefully they read their reviews and make some changes sooon. read more

I have Ben inside that Walmart on W Riverside 3 times since my job relocated me. All 3 times I stopped at your deli counter to get some lunch, Your chicken wings are awesome, very good.. The service is horrible, I don't like, not used to being waited on by saying, YEA WHATCHA WANT. I thought the first time that happened she was having a bad day. I have heard about the reputation Your store had for few years. Yesterday 2/15/18, I waiting my turn, several customers in f on of me. I watched the young lady, Not smiling, then wiped the counter with a towel, not changing her gloves, she waited on 3 customer before me, she dropped something on the floor. Picked it up put it in trash and continued to wait on next customer still with h same gloves on. My turn came. She said go ahead what cha wont. (Very getto, no manners) I can hear you, she was off to side on counter doing something on phone. I asked for popcorn chicken.. she took the cup dipped it in a he bin of popcorn chicken, and put the top on. And no name tag. I was looking. Went to self check out, and asked the guy behind register for a manager. He stood there looked behind him looked back at me and said.. they're all busy. read more
