Okayyyy so I had ordered cupcakes for my daughters birthday. As I was walking up to the bakery the lady in the bakery SAW me walking up, ignored me went and did dishes. I stood there for nearly 10 minutes waiting. Nothing. So I went and got my other items I needed in the store. When I came back over, she's still not there. But this lady on the customer side said "ma'am do you have a question?" Super rude. I explained I was picking up my cupcakes. She was adamant there was no cupcakes (which I already paid for and got there on time to pick them up). She went and looked in the back, she was pissed. She found my cupcakes. I said thank you. And still she was being rude. The cupcakes were fine. But the customer service at Walmart in general is trash. But this Walmart... it takes the cake for the downright RUDEST workers ever. read more

Although researched online at Walmart and process begun through their website, the "management policy" for this store is to accept NO RETURNS. I have the receipt, the tags are on the clothing item for my mother, I began the process and have online Walmart confirmation, but the "management" refuses to do the return. Also, I have a separate exchange transaction which the "management" refused to do! Again, citing "this store's policy". Guess I will not be making future purchases for my elderly mother (or our household) there any longer. Corporate is going to call me back after I contacted them through their chat option. I've shopped at Walmart all my life and this has been the second time at this specific location that I have been made to feel like I'm stealing. I was checking out and the system popped up an alert when I scanned a wallet I was going to buy, an employee came over and said "Excuse me ma'am were you trying to put this in your bag without scanning it? The system alerts when something has been placed in the bag and has not been scanned." I looked at him and said "No I scanned the wallet and put it in the bag and then this alert popped up." He cleared the system alert and I looked at the bottom and the wallet had clearly been scanned as the price and item were displayed on the screen. I was made to feel really uncomfortable in front of a bunch of people and it wasn't cool. I don't know if it's this specific location but I've decided to just rather spend my money at Target. read more

If you want to find anything in Walmart, you are completely on your own. I went to no less than four Walmart employees asking where an item was located and not a single person would talk to me because none of them could speak anything other than Russian. During checkout after scanning over $200 worth of items, the machine notified me that my items would no longer scan so I waited 10 minutes for an attendant, but finally had to go and search for one myself, this lady came over and promptly accused me of being a thief, because the register had a video of me putting items in my cart. On the exact same screen, I pointed out to her that those two items had been scanned by me with every intention of being paid for as I wasn't done scanning my items therefore, I hadn't paid for my items yet. This Walmart along with so many others is a disappointment to say the least. Now my grandparents were immigrants themselves so I understand that there are foreigners in this country and I'm all for it but when there isn't a single employee that could assist a customer, we have a problem. Went to shop at the Walmart supercenter center on Crossing Drive in Rocklin only to find that Walmart has started a policy of searching everyone's merchandise bag and receipt to ensure that they haven't stole something. This is a reprehensible policy that basically accuses all of their customers of being thieves. I've been told that the problem is routed in the self check process, which Walmart utilizes in order to save themselves money by not hiring additional cash register attendants. The problem is that allegedly not everyone scans and pays for everything. So instead of hiring additional employees to monitor this process more closely, Walmart has chosen just to insult all of its customers by insisting that their merchandise bag and receipt be searched. This practice is reprehensible and I will never shop there again. Further, I do not see any legal support for this practice. So for anyone who's reading this review I recommend simply just walking on through the line and tell the guy waiting to search your bags to forget it. read more

This is one of the nicest Walmarts, and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. It's well-organized, clean, and has such a huge variety of shopping items. Vegetables and Meat are always fresh and well-stocked. The parking lot is huge. It's never anywhere as crowded as Costco. The only problem I'd like to see them fix is helping customers who push the ask-for-assistance button to buy items behind a locked case. Sometimes I have to wait 10-20 minutes before an employee with a key stops buy, which is just ridiculous. read more

This was a pretty hard to rate experience I went looking for a bookshelf actually 2 off them the second one was underneath a few other boxes of another color. Across from the section there's the paint section which has a call box for assistance No one showed after maybe 15 minutes, suddenly one Walmart employee walked by and I called her actually almost yelled, never turned around so I rushed myself to get her. That's when I realized she had both earplugs on Anyway I asked her to look for someone to help and waited another 10 minutes for nothing I ended moving everything myself and putting them into 2 carts and paid them, so when I was getting to the exit I couldn't fit them to get out from the door so the gentleman at the door said you can ask for help at customer service so I did To my luck same lady came to help, again waiting Until another customer that was at the service desk helped me putting them in a way to be able to fit by the door to take them to my car which he actually offered to do. Don't buy Pokemon cards here; got scammed twice.The workers are opening packs, pulling out the rare cards and resealing them. They don't even bother to put the correct foil packs back into the appropriate cardboard at times. And since the cards are located behind the counter and require the worker to grab them for you, you can't really fully inspect them. read more

My go to store for price, convenience, variety, and one stop shopping - even though it's further away than a pricey grocery. Walmart's hamburger meat is much better, too, than another more expensive grocery. They carry excellent "vital farms" pasture raised eggs and kerrygold butter. read more

This Walmart is by far the best Walmart around. Let's be honest, no one likes Walmart, the reason we go there is because of the great prices. Now this is one of the cleanest ones I have found!! Even the bathrooms are clean and smell good. ( I would have taken a picture of the bathroom too, but that would have just been weird!!) I would say I live closer to the Roseville Walmart, but I'll take the extra trip just to come to this store too! Just a little secret...take your cart once done to the garden center. This is a super Walmart. They have a garden center, groceries, a McDonald's, a pharmacy, a vision center and everything else that most Walmarts have. I love this Walmart BUT if you get in the wrong check out line its Game Over. Choosing a line is like Russian roulette. The last clerk that checked me out was so slow I literally got vertigo then fell asleep standing. When I woke up like 6 minutes later the line only moved 1 person. The clerk sent someone to do a price check, 4 minutes later the employee came crawling back. The checker thanked the other employee then scolded them for taking so long......... Anyway 5 minutes later I was out the door and happy. Again I love this Walmart just make sure your phone battery is fully charged before you venture into the store. I just wanted to do a propane exchange. I went to lawn and garden and they told me just go to a register and pay for it and they will exchange it for me once I pay. Only two lines were open. So first off, I LOVE walmart and have shopped here for a long time, past 15 year and spend a lot of money here. There is a target and walmart within a quarter mile yet I always used to choose walmart. I came in to purchase something and noticed target has the same product for 20 dollars cheaper. After a quick google search I noticed walmart price matches. I asked the cashier if she can price match it and she gave me a rude no we dont do that..... I came back the next day and talked with customer service and the lady said and I quote, "we dont price match, we can do that because we are walmart, if you dont like something we have, go ahead and refund it and go buy it from target" I was shocked! We came shopping for a few food items and for baby clothes and items. Pharmacy review - This pharmacy is fantastic, in their efficiency, friendliness, and knowledge to say the least. I know, right? Walmart??! Yes, you should give them a try! I've had experiences with other pharmacies and nothing compares to the level of care and professionalism in this staff. When we have any questions, the pharmacist and other staff are helpful and know their stuff. When there's issues with our doctor's office or insurance, they do all they can to make the process go smoothly. Worst ran Wal-Mart in the area. One checkstand open at 5:00 pm on a Friday with a checker that I later find out is a minor child. I waited 20 minutes while she scanned items about every 10 second, which is so slow that it was painful. Then, the person in front of me was ready to pay, but having trouble. It was then that the checker told me that couldn't check me out, because I had alcohol and she was a minor. With no other check stands open, she told me I could go to self-check out and then wait at special check stand for someone that could ring up the liquor. It was then that I decided to just leave. Well I don't like writing negative reviews but I feel like Walmart is not doing a good job anymore. I placed a pick up order which I have done many many times before. There have been occasional issues but not much to talk about. Today though was a bad experience. The lady walking out my grocery order dropped the blue bins, never checked if the items were ok, never said hello. I asked her if she was ok or needed help, she didn't respond. Super unfriendly and poor customer service. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she would check the items she dropped. She didn't. I got home with several items damaged to the point of not being able to eat our food we purchased. I tried to call. Not a single manager to speak to. Told they don't have any management. Placed on hold for a total of 32 minutes and hung up on. No one will talk to me or take responsibility or make the situation right. It's like they all just place you on hold, hoping you will give up. A little too much bad stuff to over look today. Time to shop somewhere else with a company who cares for their consumer. read more

Massive shithole just like every other Walmart. Came in because Target was closed. Store was pretty desolate besides the normal few toothed creatures roaming mulletmart late at night. Grabbed the few things we needed and went to leave. Nope. Not gonna be that easy. 2 lines open with about 20-30 people in them each. Saw one on the side with only a few people in it. But the light was off. Got in it anyway. 15 literal minutes later the lady ringing was still on the same transaction. Of course after we put our stuff down and were next to be rung up another lane was opened. Oh, I almost forgot. Some lady with no uniform or name tag rudely pushed her way past us and put the lane closed sign up right in front of us without saying a word. Apparently she worked there? Five stars for Amy who processed a return. It was evident there were issues with the returns of the two customers ahead of me. She still was smiling and friendly when she got to me. I needed a friendly face tonight and to thank her offered her a Starbucks gift card and said get yourself a cup of coffee. Instead of taking it she said with tears in her eyes we aren't allowed to. Talked with her for a few minutes and it was evident she takes pride in doing a good job as an employee. They are fortunate to have her as an employee. The customer service was complete shit. Stood there for nearly half an hour waiting for a single glass case to be unlocked in cosmetics. Pushed the customer assistance button nearly 20 times. I went to find someone and first person said she doesn't have keys and just to push the button nonstop until someone comes. We did that with still no assistance, we did not get assistance until I went to find somebody. It was not even busy while we were shopping. This is complete bullshit and horrible customer service. 30 minutes just for nails. Utterly ridiculous. I must add that the nails were indeed for my girlfriend. Although I would look fabulous in them. But Walmart wouldn't know because they wouldn't come help. read more

The Walmart on Leadhill is temporarily closed but only for renovations in a year, so quit your whining. People are complaining that Walmart isn't classy? If you don't like it then don't shop here. Let me start by saying I like Walmart in general. Low stars is for customer service. They do have some very nice cashiers. However it is very hard to find assistance or rather pleasant assistance on the floor. We asked someone for help in the fabric department and she was completely rude and overtly refused to help. Then miraculously disappeared completely in under 0.1 seconds. She was so old that it was hard to believe she could move that fast! Geesh. This is not the only time we have had difficulty getting assistance. We spent no less than 30 minutes trying to hunt someone down to help us find a pool. 3 people told us they would get help and never did. Just generally low morale or poor customer service for those people on the floor. Maybe cashiers get paid more or they put their better staff on front? Sad. Lots of good things to shop for and basically fun if you like Walmart. Produce isn't the greatest. Good prices on basic groceries. I will continue to go there but not expect a whole lot. read more

Went there to return my daughters' softball bat with no receipt. Expecting the worst, but hoping for the best I approached Return/Exchange counter. Customer Service Rep, Arely, told me that should could technically say "no", but wanted us to be satisfied. She let us exchange the bat thankfully (i.e. it actually was broken internally). My kids went to this newly build Wal-mart and purchased 16 graduation balloons, the employee took 40 minutes to blow up the balloons. Two of the balloons popped on their way home, within a few hours the balloon no longer float. Even dollar tress has better quality balloons than this place. This was my second time in a Wal-Mart in three years and definitely my last. I bought a walker for my brother for Xmas and I threw away my receipt thinking they would need to return. Not even a week later I try and return and this was my experience... They won't look up a receipt? It's 2016 what kind of shotty operating system do you run. JCPenney was doing this in 2008 and can look up all other stores if you purchase on a credit card. Best Buy can print you out a new receipt and even can see all your past purchases on your card. Not Wal-Mart. But wait, now their policy has changed. Likely due to high theft in their ghetto stores. Now they will only let you exchange for an item In the same department. Ok well I don't have a kid. So nothing in the infant department will suit me. The response from the person working there? Too bad, that's our policy. Nobody and I mean nobody treats customers like that in any other establishment. Never never ever shopping Wal-Mart again. ZERO customer service. So rude. Such poor company relations. read more

This Walmart will always be picked hands down more than the others, even if they were closer to me than this one. Tonight somebody helped me out and I had a particularly extraordinary customer service experience. I personally wanted to write this review to give a shout out to Carl in the electronics department this evening 6/10/16. Tony also helped. I wanted a clearanced Samsung soundbar at the strange hour of about 10pm. Carl had no complaints even though he was unsure if he could get the soundbar off the display. He took about 20 mins to get the stuff all off the display (the bar and the woofer) cleanly without damaging it. Carl was incredibly helpful and kept his cool! I have ran into various employees at WalMarts who have given me some lackluster customer service and he was not one of them. So thank you Carl (and Tony) for helping me and my family out with a smile and patience while we stood around awkwardly! Carl needs a raise I'm so happy with my customer service experience (this is coming from somebody who heavily focuses on customer service at work) as well as my purchase/price. read more
