Apparently this Walmart decided to randomly not allow price matching to their original website anymore. This is very dumb and frustrating because when I asked the manager why she said "idk we just can't" other locations still price match and on their policy it says you can price match to any website but they aren't allowing it but they don't know why? Doesn't make any sense to me. The funny thing is the lady told me to order it online for pickup and I would get it the discounted price like umm no shit I knew I could do that but I was asking for a price match since I was already at the store. I just don't understand why they can't price match if it's the same thing. If I order it in their website they'll give me the item at discounted price from the store. If I get it price matched I get the item at a discounted price from the store. It's the same thing but the lady tried to make feel seem stupid. read more

Okay, it's getting busier and busier. I suppose because it has good deals and what not. I come in and I go out. Again, management need to step up their role and be a bit faster and less rude. That doesn't stop me from shopping here by the way. Customer service is still hectic when returning. I've returned about 4 times within 2 months. I noticed Gema and Evelyn still giving great services and self checkout Justice and Carlos giving great service and again bravo. I personally think supervisors need to attend self checkout when needed cause I've been there when they took too long to assist their self checkout associates. No stars if I could! I've been to almost every Walmart in the LA county area! This location by far is the worst! Don't get me wrong when they opened the shopping center it was nice! But if you go now it's horrible! Especially the whole side near Walmart! Starting inside the store is a complete mess and the people just not a good crowd. The parking lot is like a dump field. Seriously people how hard is it to put your baby's diaper or trash in a bag and throw out in a trash can! I guess it could be the location and the people in those areas. WORST WAL MART EVER!!! No matter what time I go, I can never find what I'm looking for! I literally have to go on a goose hunt looking behind counters & in carts filled wit misc stuff! I went at 7 in the morning, isles had been cleared of the boxes they usually have at night to restock. But NOTHING was stocked. LITERALLY!! What do they do all night??????? this same morning, I was looking threw a random cart the workers left that day filled with random stuff, there was a wal mart worker standing right next to me and not once did she bother to ask if I needed help finding something. Fire Larry Store Manager!!!!! I do not understand how he can even be a manager! I was at this store on Sunday and the "store manager" Larry approached me while I was waiting for my item from site to store. Needless to say I had been waiting for about an hour so I was seeking for someone to get me my item fast! (item was supposed to arrive on the Wed. the 3rd) Anyway, this Larry store manager guy asked if I was waiting for my item so I said ''yes and I've been waiting for a while now and some people that go here later already got their items" This rude man wearing a raiders jersey (what kind of manager does that?) answered me with the worst attitude I've ever heard! He told me that all the other people have been waiting too and that I was just going to have to wait because there are thousands of items out there and if I don't like it i can just cancel my item. I said I've been waiting for 3 days and literately stood there arguing back and forth with me saying that, that is too bad because other people have too and if I don't like it too bad. I hope corporate or someone higher than him reads this and they bring it up to his attention. I have way more to say about him but 1 will write a letter to corporate! Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! Shelves aren't stocked and everything is all over the place! Customer service.... HORRIBLE! So I ordered a printer on Walmart.com and chose store pick up at this location. I received the pick up confirmation and went on my merry way. Since my order was ready for pick up as the email said, I decided to do a bit of shopping for some small items needed at home. On top of the store being super crowded the shelves were messy and things were misplaced. Went to the baby section to look for some toys for my infant and I see displays with the price tags but different items that don't belong are in the display! To make my shopping experience worse I go to pick up my, already payed for, printer and the sales clerk says "your order was cancelled cuz we don't got any here" I tell her "this is the second time my order is cancelled online due to items being sold to me that aren't in stock" she replies "oh yeah" and looks at the person behind me and says "can I help you?" Completely brushing me off! My tip to you, save the hassle and go to target! read more

Very unorganized, only one lane opened for about 50 people waiting and "manager" Francie said all her employees are on break! Wow, another great service from Walmart. 5 stars to FAVIOLA!!!! She was beyond nice, very helpful. She's working in the men's department, very busy unpacking the new shipment she received but didn't hesitate to stop what she was doing to help me look for my boyfriend's shirt size. She literally went through the entire men's department giving me different options that he might like. Thank you FAVIOLA! The rest of the Walt mart employees should take notes in amazing customer service from her. If a management is actually reading this, she definitely deserves recognition for customer satisfaction. This walmart is about 10 minutes from where i live and i literally dread having to go there.. The lines are horrible, all the time.. The place gets pretty messy too. I have given this store so many chances and it just gets worse. Pull in to a filthy lot always filled with men just creeping around checking out parked cars. Inside I can sometime get a cart (filthy) and try to get through their maze of unpacked pallets. Shelves are half empty and I have come home more than once with expired items or ones that expire in two days. There are lots of employees and once in a while one will be kind enough to help or find someone that will.. Usually that's not the case. Employees gather in a group usually telling stories, maybe it's break time, but then do it in the break room. I usually leave with my list only half filled. Long check out lines are a given. Then try to get to your car without feeling very safe because of all the guys walking & creeping between cars in the lot. I do not recommend this Walmart. read more

I love Wal-Mart and depending on which one I go to it's my everything store. South Gate is actually pretty nice. I'm impressed, however, I can only give them a 3 star based on giving customers the wrong information. I bought a over the toilet storage cabinet at the Rosemead location . When I bought it the box was less than attractive and look like it had been open, stupid me for buying it I know, but I needed the storage desperately since we just moved into our new home. The item was missing 2 pieces so I decided to return to the South Gate location which is close to my house. The lady at the CS counter was nice and took my windshield wipers as a return but not my cabinet. She said they do not take damaged returns from other stores and I would have to take it back to where I bought it from because their store won't get credit for it. Last time I checked, that wasn't the case and I used to work at Wal Mart back in 2005. What could I say, she wasn't being rude. I just said thank you and I left. I took the cabinet back yesterday to the Rosemead location and asked told the girl what had happened at the South Gate location. She said that she doesn't know why I was told that and they should have taken it. I just think that's an inconvenience that I had to go out of my way to return the cabinet when there is one by my house and it was convenient for me going home from work. I mean I would go back to this store but I just think the employees should have better knowledge and if they don't understand, call a manager. I give this place 3 stars. The store is so disorganized, things are everywhere. This place is always packed.. I rec. Not to come on the weekends because it's so crowded.. it's so hard to get through the aisle and you CAN NOT shop in peace.... either shop early in the a.m. or late at night because you'll get through the store elbowing people throughout your whole shopping.. Walmart is your one stop shop if you have time for the checkout lanes. There horrible!!!! For being such a big corporation you would think the would hire more ppl for the check out lanes. The cashier was rude she looked like she was stoned . she kept rolling her eyes at me and messed up my transaction a couple of times to the point she voided it and made another cashier redo it. I waited in line for over an hour to pick up an item at this store that I had received an email and text confirmation that item was "ready for pick up" just to be told by the cashier that the item is "out of stock and your order was cancelled". WTF??? I did get upset and raised my voice slightly asking "how is that possible???". I manager approach me, not to try to assist me with my order problem, but to simply tell me "you need to lower your voice, your order has been cancelled, you need to leave the store". WTF??? (x2). Zero professionalism. Aside from rude and unprofessional employees, there's a huge lack of communication between Walmart.com and Walmart stores. NEVER shopping from Walmart again. I had an incident that occurred while i did some online shopping that my make up i ordered was used!! That was disgusting! I obviously called and complained but they told me to contact fedex of course they werent gonna say it was them.
