So my visit to this Walmart was interesting. I've never had problems before since this is my local store, but this time it was different. I wanted to buy a fishing rod that I really liked, an Abu Garcia rod which they hardly ever have, I checked online to see if the price was cheaper which it was, so I asked an employee if they could price match it. He told me they could, but they have to do it in the front of the store. When I went to the front to pay I told the girl the information the other employee told me about the price match, she checked the walmart app to see if they had it but the rod didn't show up, so I showed her my phone to show her the online source she said " yeah I can't sale it because it's not on the app" ...what but I'm showing you online that it says you guys are out of stock.. BUT.. I found one... here it is!...so I asked to talk to a manager because clearly she didn't have any experience in this kind of thing, to keep it short the "manager" who looked about 18 years old told me the same thing lol, so I guess walmart employee's just go only by the app? to check item listings but not the online source??...even with me showing them on my phone they said they couldn't sale it to me because it's not on the APP! Lol ...I hope someone from Corp sees this please train your employees better because I'm sure they are turning many people away with the same issue I left very disappointed read more

Customer service sucks! They didn't have what I wanted nor would they give me a discount on the utility wagon I ended buying plus the padding was missing from the pocket. It was bad enough I had to pay $10 more nobody felt my pain I felt like I wasn't important and my needs weren't important since I have to travel further to shop at Walmat I would appreciate that my concerns are being taken seriously! read more

Came in to do a pick up and was signing in on there machine and all to be rudely screamed at by one of there employees George is his name. Im pretty sure if the Kiosk says sign n your going to sign in. Sadly to say if you dont want to work quit and stay at home dont yell at customers in front of other customers. Stopped by here during the middle of the week to pick up a few things. This is a new Walmart and DAMN it was packed. It felt like black Friday. This place was a madhouse. Kids running around knocking down things and the parents on the phone with no care at all (I guess they don't care to win the "parent of the year award"). Worst customer service. Hussein was more worried about going to lunch when he was the only one around that new how to make a claim and was handing it off to someone who had not been trained how to. Norma was more worried about someone she was training than trying to attend my mother all while every one of they're employees was using foul language right in front of us. How much more unprofessional can you get? My mother fell down so a claim had to be done and NONE of their supervisors seem to know what they're doing. What if something worse had happened? It took so long for someone to even come and attend my mom. At the end someone who new what they were doing finally came and helped out. I did let the Store manager Joe know that I was very unhappy with how everything was handled and stated he would speak to them. I hope something is done. They need to properly train these people before giving them a title, it just makes them look so bad. I try to avoid coming to this Wal Mart but sometimes is not possible while having a kid. I buy my diapers for her here, baby wipes, and used to buy her formula here too. And sometimes when you need essentials this is the cheapest place to get it from. But there's something about this Wal Mart that is not welcoming. Since it's the only Wal Mart bear by for the surrounding areas of Compton , South Gate , Cudahy & Bell. It always is over crowded. Today luckily we came before Armageddon hit! That's usually what we call it. It feels like it's the end of the world and people are here to shop. There's never no people. Today I just came for diapers and I paid in the self checkout but sometimes when it's close it's not convenient to come here. If you need to come in really fast and go take advantage of the self check out. Other than that you're going to be waiting for a really long time. Overall this Wal Mart is convenient but don't come before they close. Try to come either early or before 9 pm. read more

Come here when I'm LA it's always really clean n things are easy to find the only problem is the people are always talking on the intercom. A Walmart problem in general is that there is never enough people in the registers besides not paying their employees living wages. read more

I came to this Walmart, even though I really don't care for the company, because of a great deal on a car stereo that I saw online. Their website said there was one in stock at this particular location so I headed over. I went to the automotive department and didn't see the stereo in the glass case so I asked the manager of the department if he had the particular model in stock. He replied "We have whatever is on the shelf, if it's not there, then we don't have it." I told him I was hoping someone could check the warehouse to see if it was there, he refused. Not a big deal, even though it IS a big deal, but I went to the nearest cashier and asked if they could check their inventory... they called the same guy over and asked if he could punch in the item number into his handheld scanner. He did, and there it was, said it was in stock. He said he would grab it from the back and I could meet it at check stand 14. Awesome. Headed over to check stand 14, waited in line for about 7 minutes due to the long line, and when I finally reached the cashier I said I was waiting for an item to come from the back, I told her it's a Dual car stereo. She looks and grabs one in the cart behind her and it looks very similar but I noticed the model number was different. I asked if she could scan it to see the price and it was obviously a different model because of the price difference. One of the other workers radios to the back and asks if it was brought up and it seems like there was confusion because no one knew. She asked who the person was that I spoke to and I said I didn't catch his name. She then proceeded to tell me that I had to go to the back and meet a worker there so they could grab it and I could personally take it to the front. I went to the same cashier and waited another 5 minutes until I saw the same manager, so I jumped out of line and told him what the cashier up front said. He walked with me to the shelf and looked but didn't see the item, I told him that he said he was grabbing it from the back originally, so what happened? He couldn't answer that question so he just said they didn't have it, still not going to the back to check. At this point, I knew it was a waste of time, even after repeatedly mentioning that the website, and YOUR inventory handheld said you had it in stock. I told him the Pico Rivera location also said it is in stock and asked if there was a way to check other store's inventory. He told me that my best bet was to go to that store since most customers there don't purchase car stereos as much. With that, I was gone. Horrible, horrible customer service and definitely not willing to do their job properly. I was in no way rude or impatient even though I spent a good 30 minutes in the store going back and forth. Headed over to the Pico store, asked the automotive department manager for the same stereo, he check the shelf, said he would ask someone else, then he went to the warehouse to look, and there it was. Amazing what happens when people do their job properly and put the customer first. I thanked him by saying "Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it." He told me it wasn't a problem but looked at me as if I had asked him to donate a kidney, most likely because that's the job he gets paid to do and it wasn't going out of his way. After a month, I finally spoke with a representative from Walmart. I believe he was the store manager. He apologized for the response delay, the incident that occurred, and the phone customer service that was provided. I was asked about my incident and if there is anything that he can do for me or assist me with. He also made me aware of the new procedures that they have in place. As far as the incident, there we no other complaints which is a good thing. Although it took a while for a response, I am happy satisfied with the results. read more

Be careful ordering anything on line from Walmart. My experience was that they have many vendors they advertise in their pages for that they do not support but probably take a cut of their sales revenues for generating business for them. You think you're ordering from Walmart when you may be ordering from a place that Walmart does not stand behind. When you call Walmart's customer service they simply tell you it's not their order. It's pretty sad they say this when they advertise on Walmart's page. I am certain Walmart did not just allow these people to advertise for free. They should forewarn the unsuspecting public that, even though we advertise for these people on our site, we our not responsible for them. This is by far one of the worst Walmart I've ever walked into! It looks nothing but a warehouse a complete big dirty warehouse! There's merchandise all over the place still in their boxes employees themselves are rude, and you can't walk down through the isles not even with the shopping cart! Checkout lines aren't managed well. They have plenty of staff to help open new lanes to funnel customer lines but don't. Multiple supervisors are present but none spend a few minutes to jump on a lane themselves to help and they surely know how to do checkouts. read more

This Walmart has the worst customer service among other issues. They never seem to want to help their customers whether it's in person or over the phone. Had me transfered everywhere but their pick-up department, long holds, and hang ups. Just for a simple request to inquire if the product I had ordered was still available as it had been more than 5 days. Finally went to the store and nobody seem to even assist me. They couldn't find it due to the clutter they have everywhere. After a 45 min wait I just asked them to reimburse me. They didn't even want to do that. I've been there twice ( different times of day and different days) and both times the items that I am able to get at every other walmart are not stocked. They sold me a used game as new and tried to blame me that I opened it even though I bought it the day before, and never opened it. The packaging plastic looked cheap. Ironically the game was taken out of the from the glass case shelf when I bought it. I returned the game never opened next day but the assistant manager said I opened it and went through all the trouble to repackaged the game and seal it with crappy plastic. That walmart must be pros at selling used stuff as new becuase the assistant manager told me sealing a game with crappy plastic could be done in 5 mins. I rather go to the taget 4 mins away on firestone that go to that crappy ghetto walmart.
