A Pershing/Persian is a doughnut that is similar to a cinnamon roll but is made with doughnut batter. Meijer has had a plethora of Persian varieties lately, with one of them going for a cookies and cream vibe. The surface of this pastry contains a whipped cream-like frosting with miniscule chocolate cookie pieces. Due to their small size, the crumbles don't add any texture but do add a faint chocolate flavor to the creamy topping. One mini-OREO cookie can be found within the topping as the finishing touch. The cinnamon flavor of the pastry's body is sweet and relatively subtle with no uncomfortable burning/heat to it. Cinnamon granules can be seen in the dough after taking a few bites if you look closely enough. I found the dough to have a nice thick and chewy texture while also being light and pillowy. Initially I had some trepidation as the topping did not appear very thick, which concerned me because the topping to pastry ratio would be way off. Although I still think it could have been a little thicker, the ratio was sufficient for the most part. This place has slightly cheaper prices than Meijer their competitor but they are literally out of…read moreeverything and when you go to order something online it says that there is product available but when you go to pick up your groceries they say sorry they were out of like half of the things you order unless it's Walmart brand then they substitute it with something either more expensive or poor quality and the pickup service is iffy sometimes they're really great sometimes they give you free samples of things which is enjoyable and sometimes The shopper just doesn't give a s*** about what you order and they give you bags of cups that have been ripped open on the bottom and taped up or sometimes they leave things out of your order or if you order beer you got to make sure they put it in the back of your vehicle because most of the time they'll put it right on the edge of the door and when you open up the door your beer shatters all over the ground and then they want you to bring it back for a replacement not refunding you for gas but I don't understand why this location has been basically out of everything for the last 4 years and then every other Walmart has had everything in stock....

I was super excited to see that they carry Black Diamond considering I use Black Diamond gear climbing - and wanted to rep the brand! I was perusing the store when the clerk (afternoon of 6/5/26) impolitely took the shirt out of my hands and said she would hold it up front. I continued searching and looking at hiking pants (again, avid outdoorswoman, love supporting small!), when the same clerk came up to me and commented on how "I didn't look too excited," when I said no to her showing me around the store and letting me look at my own pace. This is by far the rudest and worst experience I have had looking for gear and will not be shopping here, especially if I will be treated like a criminal when I planned on buying several (expensive) shirts. Update: They review bombed their own Google Reviews after my single negative review. I was their second ever review, the prior being 10 months ago. Within hours there were five 5 star reviews, all from new/foreign accounts (one, for example, has only ever reviewed in the Dominican Republic, another only has one review). Extremely sketchy.

However as soon as I walked though the door a woman started in on me and my friends followed us around the store. She was very aggressive in her demeanor and behavior, she was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my friend (an avid climber and gym enthusiast). She took the clothes from her hands saying that she can "hold them behind the counter for her" and even went as far as to comment on her mood. Saying "she didn't seem very happy" she was incredibly unprofessional, and it was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience for me and my friends, I felt profiled and unfairly judged. I would not recommend going and will instead be looking directly from the sites. Also as soon as my friend wrote a review (the second google review on the page, and the first one in months) the store clearly and blatantly review bombed the site, trying to bring up their overall rating. This is incredibly unprofessional and the store management seems lacking.

This place is surprisingly awesome and beats a trip to Wal-Mart by a mile. It's a true dollar store…read more- everything they sell is $1 or less. And they've got some tremendous buys. I spotted some halogen light bulbs that I've been paying $7 for from Amazon for (of course) just a buck. We're staying in a condo is South Haven so this has been a tremendous spot to stop in and get toys for the kids we want to last no more than a week, random cleaning supplies, party decorations, etc. Way better than Dollar General. Recommended!
