I called to order a cake, bakery phone rang about 30 times, so I called deli, it rang about 30 times, then I called the main number to speak to an operator and they didn't answer either. so as usual, I called Harmons and ordered exactly what I wanted. they answered in 2 rings, it's bad enough there is never enough checkers but they don't answer the phone. hate this place. read more

For a Walmart is south Jordan, I expected it to be nicer than your typical Walmart. This is not the case. It's clean enough, but it's so cramped that I feel nearly claustrophobic, especially in the clothing section and the bakery area. I'm not sure if the building is smaller than a typical super center, but it sure feels like 3/4 of the size while they tried to fit the same amount of stuff in it. read more

I think this Walmart is trying to become hip! Definitely a lot cleaner no pallets of merch on the floor. It's really lit up. Shelves looked stacked and clean. The cloths area is super nice and folder and looks like a target! I didn't get pictures but walking around I was like wow! They need to make the aisles where the bath/skin products are bigger. It's too cramped back there. Maybe they will remodel that section soon! I did self checkout so I didn't interact with anyone. But seems like Walmart is making a change. Tailed at self check out. Moved so staff directly behind me could see I scan all items. She noticed and fleed. Four other customers in the area didn't receive same treatment. After paying & exiting the area. Another older female staff attempted to search me for the receipt I sent to my phone. I refused. I was the only customer singled for this treatment. A quick stop to get a last minute appetizer for a friends get together. I was able to buy several dips, salsa, chips and drinks. I found everything I needed with ease. The store is well organized with wide aisle and it looked clean. I used the self checkout and it was very convenient One of the prices rung up incorrectly and the employee fixed it quickly without issue. There were several parking spots available on their private lot. I also dropped of my daughter's old eyeglasses at a donation box in the Vision Center. Walmart has partnered with the Lions Club to collect used eyeglasses for people in need. A very good initiative! read more

Crazy busy at this time of year. Was really surprised to see that they didn't have a very large section of Christmas decorations, but had a room full of wrapping paper. They had some really cute pink flamingos, and pink poodles, but I didn't want to decorate my Christmas tree with these this year. read more

When this Walmart opened a few years ago, it was nice-clean, spacious and new. But over the years it has deteriorated...to the point that I do my regular shopping elsewhere and only visit when I absolutely have to. The first thing I noticed was the disappearing act of the open space. Aisles were slowly filled up with displays and additional "stuff," making it nearly impossible to navigate with a cart. Each time I'd visit, more displays would be in my way. About the same time as the Operation Fill the Store was going on, I noticed that things got dirty. The floors, the displays, everything just started to look overly worn and not cared for. The straw that broke my camel was when they started stationing people at the door that wanted to look at your receipt before you leave. I understand that practice in some places, but it just feels icky. I feel like I have to prove my innocence every time I leave the store. Lines are always long. Service is spotty, at best. I'll keep going to my other local store and let Walmart do its thing without me. read more

Took 20 min for a girl with a propane key to come open the gate and get me a new tank. Instead she preferred to take inventory while I watched her waiting. 20 min ! It was a tad over. It's nice to know the customer comes after closing duties at this location. I've never been so blatantly ignored. I was told by the door gal this is a regular thing to wait over 20min for someone to grab your propane. It was dead in the store. Just outrageous. read more

I usually go to the Walmart off the 215, on 114. It has more selections. This Walmart did have great option for Bingham gear which is a plus. I came for groceries and bought more clothing than groceries. Overall, not to bad, I'd go to this Walmart if I'm close by otherwise I'd stick to the Walmart on 114th. read more

I went to this Walmart in the midst of COVID, and with all the shoppers, we still got what we needed. I did run to the bathroom and it was clean and stocked, so thats a plus! We did have to wait a while in the checkout line. They could have used some help in that area. read more

I have a hard time coming up with superlatives to describe any Walmart store, so while I would love to shine the rays of adulation on this store, like all Walmart's, it's...well, adequate! Beyond this, dear reader, I may just be using made up phrases (and if you get the source of any of this humor, send me a compliment....I like Hot Stuff!). Look, Walmart has its place, and as with any location, this one just bursts forth with the general adequatelance we all expect. Like many of our Utah "super" stores, this one is BIG, and has a huge selection of...erm...pretty much everything. We don't do a huge amount of grocery shopping at Walmart, preferring to get produce and things from other stores, but for boxed grocery items the prices are hard to beat let's face it. You don't go to Walmart expecting great service, and you will rarely find it, but they go through the motions with the adequesidity you would expect, and that is good because as I like to say, regardless, everybody finds themselves at a Walmart eventually....you know...if they die without redemption! I don't visit this location often, so I'll be generous and give it three stars since it looks like it needs some loving reviews, and also because it usually takes me a few visits to any location before I'm ready to commit to my usual sentiment of "Meh!". I live in Hawaii and I thought our Walmart was a good size, but when I walked in here I was like HOLY SH**!!! And from what my son says, EVERY Walmart here (in Utah) is HUGE - Wow. We do have them beat in one respect however, our Walmart (in Honolulu) has wall to wall people almost 24/7, whereas here you may, or may not, have 100 customers at any given time. Needless to say, I prefer the size and space of these Utah Walmarts. The store offers grocery, clothes, electronics, a nail salon, hair salon, McDonald's, bank, optometrist, automotive, garden, crafts, hardware, and there was a Sam's Club next door. Damn, now this is what I call a "one stop shop" - every man's shopping paradise. Clean. A/C. Tons of cashiers, as well as the self check out option (for us impatient fellows). Great store. I hate this Walmart. Ever since they opened they have been awful. They never ever have what I'm looking for. They are always out of stock of at least one or two things that I am shopping for. The whole store is always a mess with boxes everywhere like they're in the process of stalking shelves, yet of the shelves are half empty. We had to ask somebody last week to go find us some milk because the milk section was completely empty but we could see it all back behind the racks. And then he still couldn't find the milk we wanted. They closed the neighborhood Walmart that was around the corner because this Walmart was doing so poorly. So now we've lost the good Walmart but always had what we needed and replaced it with this crappy Walmart is under poor management or something. I went in to buy a vacuum that was on sale for $99 for Black Friday and when I went up to the register it came up as $150. I told them that their display was still up saying that it was $99 and they said they didn't care and that it was $150 on their website. They then said that customers must have moved all of the vacuums in front of the wrong display... but then I pulled up the Black Friday flyer where it said that they were $99 and they still wouldn't honor their sale!! read more

My wife and I did not have a good experience while checking out at this Walmart in South Jordan. The checker Audrey scanned our order then left a 32 pack of water on the belt. We paid and then waited for her to move the water to the bagging area. I then asked if she can't move it can I get it from your side. She said no you can go around the other side. I said there are people there you can move it to us. She stopped and glared at me and just froze and stared. I said to her I cannot believe you are treating a customer like that..... I can't believe that I was treated like that at Walmart. She needs to go to customer training and respect the people that make her paycheck possible. I have been a customer at this Walmart's pharmacy for years, But when I went to fill my prescription this time a new pharmacist was there, his name was Jim, he is a floater pharmacist for Walmart. I could not believe the way he treated me, in not so many words, he called me a lier and acted as though I had obtained my prescription illegally. Nothing like a midnight craving to really appreciate Walmart's 24hr policy. This particular location is relatively new. Its very clean and things are relatively easy to find. Usually they are basic, sometimes slummy and the checkout lines are LONG! Not so with this one! The store is bringing and clean and there was little to no wait for checkout. The bathrooms in this store are out of a corporate business building! I couldn't believe it! I usually HATE using Walmart rest rooms, but these were GREAT! Don't let those expectations fool you, as the staff members are rather mediocre, considerably rude, and slow altogether. I typically run to this Walmart since it's the literal closest store to my home. They cannot stock up their products beyond belief. Shelves are almost always empty, albeit carts and crates of various products are almost always laid out along the main walkways, which sometimes creates a problem for many handicapped individuals and shopping carts. This Walmart recently installed a lot of self-checkout registers but even then they're always closed or are not working. No matter the time of day. To save you some time, shop at Harmon's or Smith's. They're about a mile or two from each other and may be an extra drive, but I promise you that these are by far better options. read more
