Walmart kicked out my friend due to teenagers causing trouble, and my friend on an Amigo cart due to a hurt leg. They also stated he is banned from the store and will call the cops. It wasnt even his fault, it was teenagers causing trouble and getting him involved. This place sucks and will never be good with security. The ban is also a false ban that my friend got, due to no information was taken, just an immediate escort to the exit and told "Leave now, come back and we call the the cops." I also ordered an item for pickup, 4 hour wait as usual, but it turned into automatic shipping + a 4 day wait, ruining the project planned with the item, and when the item finally arrived, it was defective. Overall, this Walmart is horrible with security and confused over rules, and they don't know how to properly check stock. read more

The shelves in sporting goods, housewares,hardware and parts of grocery were an absolute mess. I was looking for a pair of work gloves and asked an employee who just came out from the back. She looks at me and says, Im on break!" ...I thought ,"so the how can I help on your vest is a joke...got it. Then she said, "in sporting goods maybe" i told I already looked there and then she said, "well then I dont know!!!! What great customer service. The parking lot is a nightmare. Great location with ample parking, but entering and exiting the lot can be challenging due to its complex array of roads and aisles that are within it. The store is clean and well stocked, with some of the lowest prices around. Excellent selection of Collectors Cactus and Succulents, with a robust inventory of other houseplants as well. read more

I was in there yesterday to make a return that I purchased on curbside pick up. I didn't realize that without a paper receipt using the order number from the Walmart Phone app I would have to wait five days to have the refund posted back on my bank card the lady who explained this to me was very rude while she was talking to me. She was on a phone call with her insurance company very very rude, but this is to be expected at Walmart because Walmart doesn't care anything about the customers needs it's all about the money my advice for anyone that is reading this if you order from curbside pick up, always always request a paper receipt in the event that you have to return the item to Walmart with a paper receipt you would get your money refunded back to you that day, but I have to wait 1 to 5 days to get my money back when they took my money immediately before I placed the order very very bad customer service do not. Yes, I will help others learn more about this Walmart. Specially that it's the new normal and by the powers of Jesus, I can't lie about things I see. So from 5 stars to one star, and here is my reason. Failure to properly wear a mask is key to the New Normal status that we have now. As I walked in, I saw multiple exployees with their noses hanging out, possibly infecting the air around me. Also, there were shoppers around me who were not wearing masks and we're not being told to do so. Hopefully in 14 days I'm ok since I've been possibly exposed to someone who is Asymptomatic. I'd avoid coming here if you value your life and your families lives. If they don't want to hire people who are willing to properly cover their orifices. I'd rather go somewhere else. First, let me say this review is about Walmart delivery. Yesterday, 8/12/25, I made an online purchase of 13 groceries. I paid for quick delivery. All seemed well. But of course this is hit or miss. My order was taken to the wrong location. I was sent the message that my food was just delivered. My son was outside. I had no idea nothing had actually been delivered. No way to contact the driver who did not come from Door Dash because I called and checked. Walmart gave me a refund but that's not the point. I wanted the food I ordered not a refund days away. Nothing could done so I could at least have my order delivered properly. Walmart doesn't care enough about food delivery. If they can't deliver. They should stop offering the service. It seems to be a scam. The people who deliver the products know they can keep people's items because Walmart gives back the money and nothing else happens. read more

Fool me once, Fool me twice and deny a refund for price overcharged on three items, not getting a third chance. Walmart nationwide has been ripping customers off over 2 years since removing price scanners. Now only option is they very own Walmart App to scan prices which you need to on all items, and you still get overcharged. Customer service manager on duty Patricia has so much to learn. She broke the Michigan consumer protection act called a bounty and refused any refund at all, her excuse that the app the created is not right. Duh why do you have it, just to screw your customers millions of dollars each year. So a official complaint going out to Michigan bounty law, won a suit a decade ago for 250 bucks from CVS. Finally have a self check out there and not just 2 lines late at night open. People are still rude at times and do not want to help you when asked for something. But what do you expect from a Walmart. Yet you ask yourself why pay people more money. Lol Only go here when I have to and know something is cheaper here. Besides that, hell no. Ghetto-Mart! I got what I went there for but it was a horrible experience from start to finish and I don't intend to go back unless absolutely necessary. The store was a mess, clothes piled up on the floor and actual garbage that previous guests had left on shelves and empty dairy queen cups on the floor. The workers were unhelpful and (shock!) extremely rude. While shopping with my 2 young daughters, a couple of disgruntled workers walked by complaining about their jobs using some very colorful and 4-lettered language with no care as to the children that were hearing them. I used the U-scan to check out to avoid any further interaction and frustration. Overall, not a good experience. This store is fairly new, conveniently located right around the corner from my house and I would literally drive miles out of my way to avoid having to go here - and I do. Sad. We don't need stores like this bringing our neighborhood down! The few pennies you MAY save just aren't worth it! The possibility of burning up brain cells from the fury you experience is too high! My recommendation is to shop elsewhere and don't support garbage like this! read more

I don't understand how a store/company can sell a product to be unusable because an employee improperly scanned the item that i specifically went out of my way to ask for help because as a customer I wasn't sure if I was scanning the phone card correctly. I spoke to two reps on the phone who said I had to go back to any location and have them fix it. Well the team leader was just brushing off my need for help when I spent money with this company. I had to go from customer service to electronics to get 1 of 3 of my questions answered properly and then when I had to go back to customer service I waited for an unacceptable amount of time just to be told I have to got the location I bought the product from for further assistance. Lack of knowledge at the customer service desk. Also the parking lot is so small it took my 10 minutes to find a place to park even on the home & pharmacy side of the store. I will never shop at ANY Walmart again. read more

Ok so this is my 2nd time using Walmart pickup & I cheated on them (tried the new Kroger on Fort Street pick up in between), but I NEVER will again! Walmart is so fast, they greet you right away (especially if you use the arrival mapping app) & I have not waited more than 10 minutes either time (waited over 45 minutes at Kroger before being greeted by rushed & impatient staff there,then another 30 minutes before I got my groceries - could have shopped myself in that time - with a half hearted "sorry") Both visits to Walmart have been amazing - I thought first guys were nice, but so was "Inkari" today - she was so friendly & even made sure to put my bread upfront with me so it wouldn't get crushed (Kroger put my eggs in the back & 2 broke on the ride home). My elder Mother in Law had a problem with a vehicle battery. The battery was manufactured by Johnson Controls, which recently SOLD their 'automotive battery' for 13.2 Billion dollars, be that is 'besides the point. So I removed the battery, placed it on a 2amp charge for THREE DAYS, surely that was ample time to charge the unit. Guess I am 'sadly mistaken' because that didn't work, so it was left to charge @ 10amp for another day....guess what, that wasn't doing it either. The battery had a CODE date of 05/19 (that is typically the mfg. date). Taking the battery back to the Walmart @14900 Dix-Toledo Rd., Southgate, Michigan, I went to the "Customer Service" area only to be informed that the battery was 'out of warranty' by a rather large associated. MY experience with years of purchasing vehicle battery-excluding motorcycle, ATV, Lawn Mower etc.- is that within a given time there is a 'free replacement' followed by a 'pro-rated' period. Apparently this is NOT the case with said batteries purchased at Walmart; free replacement is only during a given time of one (1) to three (3)years, depending on grade of unit purchased..........there is NO pro-rated after that period. My MIL (Mother-In-Law) was less then two (2) months over the 'one year warranty' and no help was given...not to mention there was not one associate in the department of Automotive to offer assistance. If this, which I would hope it's not, the type of 'daily operations' used by Walmart, then troubled time may be on the horizon. Sgt. Walker US Army retired read more

I spent 20 minutes in the electronics section and spoke with 3 different employees who all deflected my questions, i was looking to purchase a game behind a case and was unable to do so, there were 3 other customers loitering around the register in the back also looking for help but being unable it find any, the store seemed fairly busy, but not a single employee was helpful in any way. read more

The curbside pick up is worthless! My order was supposed to be ready between 2-3pm, but it was delayed with no time frame. At 3:45pm, surprise your order is ready! They were out of 5 items and did not substitute one of them. Substitution is an option and one that they USED to do, now the majority of your meal is unavailable. So, that extra bit of time you thought you could save after work or on your day off, gone. I've spoken with customer service and they were absolutely no help. Not worth the headache. read more

By the time I found out what happened the item had sold out permanently and now, because of a mistake the company made, my only way of getting this $200 item is to spend more than $450 to get it from a scalper on eBay. I love Walmart...but when they are out of stock of chocolate milk or creamer by you you can never get anyone to get it from the back even though you see it back there. There are helpful workers there but then there are the ones that don't want to help and just guess where the item would be. Megan in the bakery saved our day. Since my cat decided to lay on my daughter's graduation cake box and absolutely wreck the cake we picked up on Saturday, come Sunday morning, the day of my daughter's party, the cake was ruined. Upon calling the bakery and explaining the situation, they told me to bring the cake in and they would see what they could do but made no promises. Megan went above and beyond what we asked, scraped the entire cake, and re-decorated the entire thing. That is what I call customer service at its finest. Horrible service there is a manager named Brian who is an absolute asshole he actually says it's illegal to not have an I.D on you And does not know how to do his job avoid this Walmart if at all possible and this store will not follow the law specifically the shopping reform and modernization act of 2011 this store invited me back after my first visit to fix what they had done wrong only to change their mind after I drove 2 hours to come back. This is as bad as it gets If you do not believe me go into the lady's department their items are marked for a lower price than what you will be charged. Buy them. Don't have them change it. Then go to service desk and demand they follow the law they will lie to you and make up conditions that are not apart of the law. I come to this walmart only when I'm in need of Goya products since the Woodhaven Walmart doesnt keep their stock up in that section. I also find that this Walmart carries the huge gallons of juicy juice. However i dislike their produce section either they're out or its not as fresh as should be and a huge dislike i have is their parking lot, the isles are so short and packed, seems like it was not well thought out. read more

I liked this store because this store is exactly the same as I saw in Salisbury, NC and it made me nostalgic for Salisbury. Unlike WM of Novi, this store has kept vegetables/fruits on the right side of entrance and on your left side is clothing section and Pharmacy department is on other gate, which is on your left side when you enter from other gate, exactly the same as I found in any WM store of NC. Novi WM store is exactly opposite to this set up & I am used to NC kind of Walmart set up because I find easier to navigate and find the things easily. Novi store still puzzles me sometimes because it's set up is different from any WM store set up. I also liked this store because it has more selections as what we found normally online, but still I could not find snow pant in 4/5 year range for boys, but rest of the other items which are impossible to find in Novi, are available here. All in all, I am quite satisfied on coming here esp. because of familiar set up and wider selection. read more

First of all I would like to say that I have been a loyal customer to the Walmart brand I have  chosen to shop at this store faithfully for the last 4 years. Unfortunately , I am very disappointed with my overall experience today at Walmart which I think may have been racially motivated. I was not  greeted in a respectful manner by the greeter upon entering the store to make my return I was stopped at the door and asked for a receipt. After which I was told in a stern manner that I have to go to make my return immediately. Once this process was done  I decided to make some purchase upon leaving the store the same greet approached my cart and asked for my receipt in a very rude manner. She stood in front of my cart as I scrambled for my receipt as if I was a common thief. I asked her if it was policy to check everyone receipts  and she said yes for large items not in a bag. I showed her the receipt but I am still very disappointed that I was made to feel so uncomfortable in a store once noted for its diversity. read more

I was returning some clothes that did not fit and the young woman tagged my return and sent me to the customer service desk with a smile. I couldn't help but notice how clean the store looked. I was there to purchase a few things including socks almost all the packages were ripped open so I decided to go check the underwear and those to were ripped open!!
