I like shopping here. However, whoever does their stock ordering needs to take a class in how to order stock. They send just for you coupons based on what you purchase. That's fine, but if they used logic, and knowing many people get these coupons, you would think they would order more stock to make sure people are able to get the items that they have coupons for. Unless.....this is a bait and switch type thing...hoping to get you in the store and buy other stuff, which is so wrong. There is always a lot of products to have coupons for that they do not have on the shelves. That really is irritating to me as a consumer. Will not get another product to compensate for the product or want and have a coupon for. START ORDERING MORE STOCK MEIJER TO COVER THE COUPONS YOU ARE SENDING OUT!!!!!!! Also, for the most part, the DELI staff is great, except for one person. I don't know her name, because she doesn't wear a name tag. She's short, and she is an older woman, maybe in her 40's. She has dark hair and is a little bit on the plump side. She is so rude. If you ask her something, she'll roll her eyes at you. At least turn away from the customer when you do this. Here comes more new normal review. No one enforces the mask rule. So hard to keep my anxiety down since I'm pretty much surrounded by shoppers with their noses hanging off their masks. One shopper had no mask on, just exercising her freedom. Not a peep from any of the associates. I would definitely avoid if I can help it. Other than that, make sure you wear a respirator just to be sure you're not bringing it home to your loved ones that are at high risk of dying from covid. Always finding new ways to cheat the consumer. Let's just restructure the Mperks so the customer has had no idea that his Mperks are going to be voided after 90 days. And now you only get the deal if you buy 5 or 6 of that item. What makes Meijer think that the average person who lives paycheck to paycheck can just buy 6 cases of soda and still have enough cash left to get through the week? I don't know what is wrong with the store. I tried to buy Hampton peanuts for 6 weeks and they're still out of all kinds there are three choices raw unsalted and salted and they've been out of everything for so long. What's worse is the produce that'll have is rotten. I tried to buy lettuce today and there are seven heads of lettuce left all brown and mushy and just a nasty smelly experience standing there. read more

My order was given to someone else an hour before I got there! My internet service wasn't working (thanks AT&T) and I couldn't connect to meijer wifi on the side of the building pickup was on. So I called and said I was there, no big deal. A very nice, busy associate came to the car to check the name on the order, said it would be right out. 40 minutes later I call for the status of my order and was told it was being re-shopped because it was given to someone else. I asked to cancel and for a refund. Talked to the store manager, he was great. Customer service was great. Just sucks to have this experience with 2 little kids in the back seat screaming. I will go back to using Shipt for delivery. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I tend to pick up a few groceries and miscellaneous items early morning. Usually the stores are not crowded since it's early. I decided to stop in at this Meijer for a few items to prepare for dinner. I walked in and immediately the greeter said "Good Morning", to which I responded "Good Morning". As I made my way to the grocery section, a few employees were stacking produce. I wanted to pose a question to at least one of them about the item I was in search of, but they were not at all "friendly"......so I continued my search in vain. I walked to other isles looking for other items, and there were quite a few employees stacking items on the shelves. Is it me or has anyone else experienced what I deem as "curt" behavior. As they came down the isle(s) with their carts loading items, they were looking at me as if I was in their way. Are they asked to not interact with shoppers?, or are they just grumpy and like to grim people???? Whatever the case may be, it's not a good shopping environment - certainly not for me. I dont usually shop at Meijer but I had a gift card. The meat section smells disgusting in this particular store. You can smell it from two aisles away. The freezer section is also oddly mixed into the aisles of "fresh" meat. It seemed like there was a cart of fruit or veggies parked infront of half, maybe more, of the produce racks. Not shopping carts, the carts used to restock the produce racks. Everyone shopping could barely get to the produce because of all the restocking extras were blocking everything. It was so hard to move around with everyone grabbing over everything and around eachother. There were several veggies on the floor that were driven through by shopping carts. Long wait in the checkout. Couldnt use their self check out, only 12 items or less. Prices weren't great either. read more

I am glad we brought it back to the LP. I haven't been into this Meijer in almost a year. I hate the crowds at the Meijer in Allen Park. I hate the dirty bottle return the most....disgusting! There's absolutely nothing on the shelves...I understand in the beginning when Covid was new it was hard. But every meijer I go to...has everything..then I race to the meijer next to my house which is the Lincoln park location...and they barely even have cheese. Used to be a little better. During the last year, they have gone downhill. They stack merchandise in the aisles. The merchandise has no rhyme or reason. The effect is to make it difficult to shop and it looks terrible. Like an Aldi's that is going out of business. The bottle return area and restrooms are not taken care of. 1. The service desk workers are rude, slow, and ae just too busy talking amongst themselves to even consider assisting a customer. 2. The deli counter workers need a fire lit under them as well. Painfully slow-moving, and are too worried about what their co-worker is doing. Please get more deli workers - ones that actually work..and can walk faster than draining molasses. 3. Shelves seem almost bare anymore. Usual routine items are gone, and takes a long long time to be re-stocked. Not a well-stocked store lately. 4. Is anybody ever around to ask for assistance? Um...no. 5. The employee working attitude is awful. If it is that bad, they need to quit or just be fired. 6. There seems to be NO motivation of the employees. 7. The store really needs to be cleaned up. It's not awful awful dirty, but it could use a shine. 8. Bottle return area really needs to be modernized or heavily cleaned up. 9. Why in the world are ALL of the check-out lines so long? Even the self-check-out lines are long! I have been to other stores, Kroger, and other Meijer stores - and the lines are nowhere near as long as Lincoln Park Meijer! What gives? I can drive to another store, shop, check-out--all in the same amount of time I am STILL STANDING IN LINE to check-out in Lincoln Park. HORRIBLE. My time is valuable too! Read a comment above about the rolling wheel/cart chairs that sucks. I was in here around 1 a.m. and a dude was just a chillin lmao he almost ran over me. Any hoot I haven't been in a Meijer's since I moved from Texas and the one in that neighborhood was nothing special. This one was very clean and had ample supplies on the shelves. The vege selection was OUTSTANDING I couldn't believe how fresh and large the vege's were! This is the first time my cart was full of more vege's than other random products. Five star. This place is horrible. Have the time their out of stuff. Don't ever think your going to get any help. Management likes to reduce labor cost, so you can never find an employee. And if you do find an employee they'll probably have a really bad attitude. It must really suck to work there. I have seen lame managers treat employees like crap. This store really ticked me off the other day. I went in for one thing. A case of water. I had to lap the store twice and go up and down more than half the isles before I asked someone working who told me she "thought" it was the second isle. Since when is the water in the alcohol isle? Last place I thought to look, oh there it is. Weird. Why not in the beverage isle when alcohol is clearly the opposite of what I was looking for? I'm not one to give bad reviews and I come to this Meijer all the time. My complaint tonight is the staff, who find it more important to take selfies with each other then inform and help costumers. I can't grocery shop until late due to my work hours, however, I don't think that should justify a bad experience compared to those who shop during the day. read more

I recently went shopping at this Meijer, I am totally disgusted that when I walked in the door the greeters were I assume dating because instead of noticing me they were lip locked and going at it quite good. The only reason I continue to go to this store is because it's conveniently down the street from my house. Most of the staff is friendly,except late at night the girls up front would rather stand around and gossip than help you and when they do it's with an attitude. Secondly, their rule about the ride around carts about not being able to take them outside is complete and utter B.S. My mom is handicap and needs one, they told her she couldn't take it outside. Go at night and people are racing them around the parking lot. Also, they need to learn to charge them after the kiddies play with them at night so the people who actually need them can use them during the morning hours. Third, their cleaning times SUCK! I went in their last night and had to walk a great distance around an orange plastic fence where their cleaning crew was cleaning and customers could not be. If your going to do that heavy duty cleaning, do it from like 1am to 5 or 6am when there is hardly anyone there. Some people get off work at midnight and want to get their stuff done and not inconvenienced. read more

So irritated after visiting this meijer location. I went in around 11:30am to print 2 pictures out. After I submitted my pictures, I stood around the photo center for a few minutes waiting for an employee to help me - assuming that whoever was supposed to be in the area may have went to the bathroom or something. This clerk named Debra rudely approached me, saying that if I need help I need to pick up the red phone to call someone and let them know because nobody is ever in photo center area since there are 500 different departments. It was like I was being attacked by just standing there. I was completely fine with waiting for some help, and was only going to give it a few minutes longer before I went to find someone to help me. Never again will I visit this location thanks to Debra. Not sure if she was just having a rough morning, but either way she was extremely rude for no reason. read more

Went to Meijer today, as a regular customer I used the pharmacy and then went shopping. I have health issue but still try to use self checkout regularly. Today unfortunately, I was having a very rough time. I decided to use a cashier at lane 17. As I was paying another cashier came up and started talking. They chit chatted as I tried to load my bags into my cart. No help at all. Then said did you get everything when when they realized I needed help and I was done. If I was able to use self checkout I would have, but I needed help. Please cashiers be considerate and notice your customers, some need help! If you can't maybe all lanes can be self checkout and you can be out a job. Just a thought. read more

I dont really like the set up of this meijers. BUT, this one always seems to have good clearance on health food store body products I love like Kiss My Face, all the big lotions were around $5 and may go down again in the next couple weeks. I was happy because they had quite a selection. They also had some body washes and some other lotions and body products by similiar brands like EO, Gud, Avalon, Dead Sea, Jason, and a couple others. During the winter I came to this Meijers and found a bunch of the Burt's Bee's Miracle Salve, its the only BB's product that I can actually use and not break out from, guess my sensitive skin likes it too. Its great for the winter as a protection against the elements, not only that but its also great for you're lips and hair too. Its 1,000 times better than that stinky petroleum, derived from crude oil. Other than that, this meijer is just like any other. The set up is just strange. Also if you need to get some shipping done, I've had some success w/ that at this Meijers, unlike some of the other locations, the machines don't always work, so call ahead to make sure, so that you're time won't be wasted. read more
